"Beach Escape That Dreams Are Made Of Dreamland Beach (now commonly called New Kuta Beach) has long been a popular destination for surfers from around the globe, with white sands set against dramatic limestone cliffs overlooking the ocean, and tourism in the area is beginning to grow. While it may no longer be entirely off the beaten path, Dreamland's natural beauty remains intact—relax under an umbrella, and soak up the vibe."

Pretty great beach. Enough space to just put down your towel somewhere but if you would like shade you’re best of renting one of the sunbeds. There’s a 5k entrance fee.

Very beautiful and very dirty beach. Bad food options in the area. Good surfing though. People charge for entrance to the beach, but can’t see any of that money being put back into it. Something as basic as trashcans…

Dreamland for surfers for sure 🏄‍♂️ and if you’re strong swimmer, you’ll definitely enjoy the big waves too. No place for frogy people ať high tide in big waves, so be sure not to test your limits here and stay safe. Beautiful place where you can just lay in the sand or get your adrenaline high in the waves 🌊 It famous beach, so don’t go at weekends or expect the crowd. Parking is not that bad at weekdays..

A beautiful long beach with the option to rent sunbeds and umbrellas. When we were there, the waves were really big, so swimming wasn’t always easy. The beach is sandy, with some small stones at the entrance to the water. There’s also a laid-back restaurant nearby.

This beach stands out for its cleanliness and calm atmosphere. Though it's not very large, it’s divided into two distinct sections, giving it a bit of variety. It’s a good spot for a swim—the waves were gentle when we visited—but do watch out for a few hidden rocks in the water. There are no free loungers, and the sitting areas (like beach chairs or daybeds) can be quite pricey. If you're planning to relax on the sand, bring your own towel or bedsheet to sit comfortably. The surrounding area has plenty of good restaurants and cafés, making it easy to grab a bite before or after your beach time. Overall, it’s a pleasant, well-kept beach that’s ideal for a casual swim and some relaxed downtime.

The beach is quite nice, there are enough places for good photos, one of the best beaches for sunsets, however, there is a big but, and that is the fame of this beach because there is always a huge amount of people, if you plan to go here so be sure to avoid weekends which are even worse and you can't move on the beach. Parking is also a problem, there are a lot of motorbikes, and after sunset it is very difficult to get out of here, not only because you park on a very narrow road and you can't turn the bike around very well, but after sunset the crowds start to leave and not everyone is very considerate and helpful. You should definitely check it out once, but I don't recommend for repeated visits to the beach.

Amazing beach, must go and watch the sunset because it’s amazing. If you do surf it’s the right place. You need to pay entry for this beach 10.000 rupees per person .

It was so sad to see this paradise destroyed by trash all around and local people ignoring it and asking you to pay 500k for a sun bed with all the trash around. Furthermore, be careful entering the street side there are locals asking you to pay a fee to enter but I think it's a tourist trap because on the other side of the river you can go back and forth without any fee. It's the first time in my life experiencing this, no Dreamland here. Avoid this place!
