Creepy and far from what’s advertised. Part 1 and 2 are about hosts (owners), part 3 about accommodations. |1. Tom, the owner is giving really creepy vibes when he hovers over you after you arrive and you try to get your bags out of the car. He just stands there staring at your behind, watching your behind as you struggle with your bags. |2. After you check in and unpack but step out for a day of adventures, Tom’s wife Denise goes into your room without your permission or prior knowledge. It’s inappropriate and creepy because all of your personal belongings are in the room she enters without permission, but then she does the unthinkable. When you set yourself a cooling AC before you leave and turn the night light on, so you don’t come back to a dark room, you end up coming back to a pitch black room and AC being turned OFF by Denise and switched to heat, and so you’re struggling to get to the room safely without any light, and suffering another sleepless night due to extreme heat in the room and the wall AC not cooling the room fast enough. It’s also unsettling when she leaves things out of place in your room that you left your personal belonging in, which is a further violation of trust.|3. The room was also a huge disappointment. Bathroom didn’t have the supplies needed for a shower like body wash. Also, the view from the room was supposed to be either an ocean or a tropical garden, but we got a fence, garbage cans, and bricks, instead. Then, the blinds covering the sliding entry door/window were broken so everyone can see you at night trying to change clothes or whatever else you do in your room. There was NO curtains despite the broken blinds so in order to have some privacy, we had to hang one of the blankets over the broken blinds and secure it with things we found in the room. The breakfast advertised on the listing if far from what’s actually being received as well. As previous posts stated, we also only received dried/old bagels and muffins but absolutely NO yogurt or fruit in sight. We were told by Tom the owner to go buy it ourselves at a store. If all of that wasn’t enough, the kitchenette and shower were outdoors, “half fenced in” for so called “privacy” but anyone can access it. Finally, there’s a CAMERA in the vent of the bathroom!!!|Overall, lesson learned. I’ll never make that mistake again to rent this place. I would rather spend extra money for a comfortable resort or hotel room than to rent this B&B. I’m sure Tom and Denise are kind people but there are far from being professional or knowledgeable about boundaries, comfort, or safety. Beware.

This B&B is easy to get to from the airport. Tom gave us a warm welcome and showed us around as soon as we arrived. With your stay, you get the use of beach equipment (chairs, towels, snorkelling masks, beach bag, boogie board, etc) and the suite itself is well equipped. There is a small outdoor kitchenette with a hot plate to make meals with. We enjoyed watching the gold dust day geckos and brown anoles each day that resided around our private outdoor sitting area. There was parking for our rental vehicle. ||Beautiful beaches are a 5 min drive away and if you’re anything like my husband and I, you will enjoy the quiet suburb that the B&B is situated in rather than a busy resort. The rainforest suite was cozy and clean. The nightly rates were great. We had everything we needed during our stay and had a fantastic time. ||We will be returning in the future for sure. Thank you guys so much!!

Susan is the perfect host. She made us feel right at home and has a lovely B&B. Muffins are delicious and the fresh bananas were a great treat. Definitely recommend!

My wife and I just spent 9 nights at Dreams Come True. It was our first time in Hawaii and we couldn't have had a better living situation. We rented the cottage, so this review only addresses that facility (Dreams also has some "normal" B&B rooms on the property).||The cottage is a free standing home in front of the main home. It's perfectly outfitted with a lovely living room and bedroom and a fully outfitted kitchen (it even had a blender so we could try the Pina Colada recipe we were given by our tour guide at the Maui Pineapple Farm). The bathroom is also very nice and has a great rain forest shower.||The owners of the property, Tom and Carol, provide everything a guest could need. There is beach equipment including snorkels, fins, beach towels, chairs and an beach umbrella. There is also a washer and dryer that sits at the end of the carport for the cottage, but is available for all the guests to use.||The property is located about 1 1/4 miles from the closest beach and is an easy four minute drive (we never walked it since we were carrying beach equipment). The neighborhood is perfect and peaceful and the view from the deck where we had breakfast and some happy hours (if you live in the cottage you're responsible for your own breakfast, but we took advantage of the Safeway which is only about 8 minutes away) is spectacular. The Dreams website talks about having an ocean view from the deck--that's true, although you only see sliver of the ocean. But the view in the other direction is of the foothills of Haleakala, the 10,000 foot volcano on Maui and it's spectacular. ||The property is also only about five minutes from a shopping center with some excellent restaurants including Monekypods and a few more minutes to the posh Shops at Wailea shopping area. And close to there are the upscale Four Seasons and Fairmont Resorts.||My wife and I had drinks at the Fairmout and we agreed that as lovely as it was, we would still opt to stay at Dreams. It gave us a great base to explore the island and the price, especially for the quality of the property, is truly extraordinary given the typical costs of Maui accommodations.

My husband and I had our honeymoon here and had a simply wonderful experience! We had rented the cottage for six days but I came down with an ear infection which necessitated us staying a few extra days and our hosts gladly accommodated us: they set us up for one night in the Ocean room and two nights in the Rainforest room so we experienced all of what Dreams Come True has to offer. I cannot say enough good about how wonderful this experience was: our hosts went above and beyond to provide a comfortable experience. The cottage was amazing and the kitchen was the most well-equipped one of any rental facility I have ever experienced before: I could have easily made a multi course dinner for 10 people with all the kitchen tools and gadgets available. The BnB rooms were also well equipped with outdoor kitchens, plenty of beach gear, and lots of information about the local area. Each BnB room has a nice outside porch area with comfortable seating. The grounds of the facility are gorgeous and well-landscaped: the property is surrounded by trees and greenery so you get a very good sense of seclusion and privacy. Our hosts were warm, friendly, and helpful and we sincerely enjoyed getting to know them. There were all sorts of cute little touches, like the ends of toilet paper rolls folded in pretty fans and beautifully decorated breakfasts trays. We also were amazed at the prices: we had a wonderful experience for a cost much lower than we expected to find on Maui. My husband and I will be back many times to enjoy the wonderful hospitality at Dreams Come True!

The spirit of Aloha is not imaginary- experience it yourself by staying at this B & B property. Experience local life in this quiet subdivision instead of a massive hotel. Less than 1 mile to some of world's ranked best beaches, you will live like a local with all the amenities you need for an extended stay. The attention to detail can also be found outside surrounded by a tropical array of local flora and also an ocean facing deck for watching the beautiful sunsets Maui has to offer .Owners are happy to assist you with sightseeing info and make you feel as if you are a part of their Ohana/family.

We stayed in the cottage for seven nights. It was perfect in every way. It was affordable, especially compared to the cost to stay in a beach resort. It was wonderfully appointed and the owners thought of everything you could possibly need during your stay on Maui. The grounds are beautifully maintained and there is a view of both the mountains and the ocean. We enjoyed watching the lizards and geckos who live around the porch. The cottage is centrally located to everything and is close to grocery stores, restaurants and bars,, beaches, and shops. The owners are kind and helpful. If we are ever fortunate enough to return, we will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Maui.

Yelp
Pleasant accommodations with all the amenities you'd expect from a hotel plus an outdoor place to enjoy including use of a gas grill and microwave if you'd like to cook. Hubby and I stayed in a room and they also have a cottage with a full kitchen. The location is just a short drive to the beaches and the neighborhood is quiet. My motto is save money on accommodations to have more cash available for fun activities and experiences.
