Dreams Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino

Nice resort. Room was outdated but the view made up for it. Activities were just ok, most nights they didn't start when they said it was going to start, usually about an hour later. As for the food, well, it was not that good. Breakfast was the most decent meal available and they always ran out of coffee in the main cafeteria so if you want any you should be there at opening. Lunch was the worst of all the meals, there was a snack bar by the pool which served burgers and nachos that were absolutely horrendous, the cheese was liquid like water and the burgers were not real beef, spongy meat and stale buns. I recommend going to the main cafeteria to get lunch, the offerings were much better. Dinner was ok, a few restaurants you can choose from, but just remember that the food has no flavor, seasoning was not a thing in the kitchen, if you can find salt grab it because you will absolutely need it. The beach snorkeling was fantastic, have your own gear if possible, it's expensive at the gift shop. The pools were clean and very nice to hang out at but don't expect good music, they play from a tablet hooked up to a speaker and when the playlist ends there will be no music for about an hour until staff feels like popping over to start the music again. All in all we loved visiting the island just be sure to rent a car and go visit other places, we went to Mambo beach for a day then to where the rotating bridge is to go shopping, I highly recommend you go off the resort to make your visit meaningful otherwise if you stay at the resort the whole time you will get bored and tired of being there. I recommend the snorkel safari tour as well.

We stayed at Dreams, Curacao in November of 2025 and had a relaxing and enjoyable time. However, during our first night, we arrived late and we weren’t able to get into the restaurants without a long wait. The buffet was not open that night. Fortunately, management sent us to Zoetry, the sister resort, and we enjoyed a dinner at their restaurant. The room, food, drinks, pool and beach, were all fine at Dreams and we liked the easy access to everything because of the size of the resort. The staff were great but the problem was that there wasn’t enough staff. This was most noticeable at the pool bar where the drinks were great but service wasn’t always dependable. There was one day where the pool bar was closed because no bartender was available. At two of the bars, increased staffing would have improved service. So, overall, it was a good vacation, but increased staffing would have made it a great vacation.

The staff was really great and they are the reason we enjoyed our trip. The hotel states it's recently renovated, it looks beautiful when you arrive at the property itself. The rooms specifically the bathrooms in the rooms were dirty, unpainted, there was alot to desire about the rooms. The room service had good food but it was limited and they may cancel your food for it not being available. The attached beach and ocean are gorgeous. Food overall was decent, it was hit or miss on flavor depending on what your eating. They had a grill night and they did grill a bunch of good food (steaks and fish) and everyone was excited Entertainment was good on certain days. It picked up towards the end of trip and there was crowd involvement which was super cute. We paid for a deluxe ocean view, ended up in the back of the hotel with barely a view of the ocean, and I could see all the service area wait staff from my window. It wasn't a pretty view, but still a great time. Overall a decent budget all inclusive.

Layout is great. Not a big resort and everything is easy to find. Room was great. Cleaned everyday. Food was good, when the restaurants were open. Hyatt app would say it was open and then you go to the restaurant and it was closed. Get rid of the plastic cups. What a waste for the environment. Use reusable glasses. Beach could have been bigger and the staff were friendly for the most part.

This is not a 5 star Hotel 3 star at best. Hotel was outdated service was terrible. We had all off are meals with no service if you wanted a drink you had to get up and get it your self. If you went to get more food you had to get rid of your own plate. Most off the bartenders were spending more time on there phones then serving you. And even when you were tipping them they still didn’t seem to care. Beach was small but nice never had a problem getting a chair. Pool area was nice as well but no bar so if you wanted a drink you had to get up and walk to the main bar to get a drink. no servers were walking around the pool taking drink orders. It’s very sad when you are paying top dollar for an all inclusive and you can’t even get service when you are eating breakfast lunch and dinner.

This resort is advertised as a 5 star resort, it is not. I booked a Deluxe Garden View. What I was given was the view of roof tops that had puddles of dirty water. If I looked on the right past my balcony, I had a view of the driveway in front of the lobby. The rooms are dated. My bathtub had dirt stains that looked like it had not been cleaned. There was rust stains along the wall and tub. The towel racks were rusted. There was a long Crack in front of the bathroom sink. The food was bland. The first time I ordered room service for supper, it took 2 hours to arrive. The lunch room service came quicker. The buffet was not good, so many of the guests wanted to go to the restaurants. You could not make reservations for the restaurants so you had to wait to get in and that depended on whether or not the restaurant was opened. If it rained they closed restaurants. We went for supper at 7:00 and were told that there were 16 people ahead of us. The night that we did go to the buffet, we had absolutely no service, not one person asked us if we would like something to drink, and yet there were 3 employees at the hostess desk visting. Everyone that I spoke to, and there were many, said that they would never return to this resort. The grounds of the resort are nice. The pool area and the beach are nice. The beach is small and is shared with the hotel across the road. So, if you want a beach chair be prepared to get up at 6:30 to claim your spot with a towel. The staff are friendly, but the service is slow. I will not be returning to this Dreams Resort.

Arrived at the main reception by the airport shuttle provided , we were then taken by golf cart to the reception for the Il mare club. All well, we were given some information re the resort along with a gold paper key which we had to take back to the main reception and speak to guest services any time between 08:00 and 20:00. |     We went to reception at 18:45 and were told they were closing and to come back tomorrow . We showed them the gold key      with the timings on and were told that was wrong, and we have to come back tomorrow as she is leaving now. (Great                         customer service)|The first night we decide to eat at the Battelino restaurant which serviced the Il mare customers one of only two times we would eat there.|We were sat close to the kitchen door which did not have any form of soft closure on it so every time a member of staff came through it closed with  large bang, we both had cold starter, so it meant they came in a timely fashion I had order a main dish as well, this took over an hour to come and when it did it was poorly cooked and luke worm. During this hole time we were only offered the one glass of wine. The service level of the waiting staff was terrible for this class of hotel.|The following morning we decided to go to the buffet for breakfast.|The choice of food was limited compared to say the RUI buffet we experience in may when it came to the egg station you got what you were give even if you asked for you eggs or omelet don a specific way. What was most disappointing was the quality of cooking they have the quality ingredients but just ruin them when cooking.|The amenity desk at the main reception basically only wanted to assist you with only the tours they sold in their book any thing ells they didn't even want to point you in the right direction.|There was a glass bottom boat that operated off the dock attached to the hotel, apparently it only offered trips to the Dreem customers on a Friday when we asked how to book it we were told to go to five different places, none of which could help us, we never got to go on the trip needless to say.|Accommodation the pod location was excellent and was the only thing we enjoyed about the vacation.|But it was only a year old, when it rained which it did often we had to putt beach towels down on the floore to soak up the water from the leeks. Due to these leeks the floor was starting to lift and a potential trip hazard. The towel rack in the basin area was barely hanging on the wall and two screws had been put through from the utility room behind the toilet, if you were to slip and put your hand on them, you would be going to hospital for some stiches.|Booked a table for supper at Zoetry the neighboring hotel for 19:00 had a quick drink at the Blu bar before we asked them to order the golf cart to take us there.|On checking, they informed us that there were no golf carts tonight as they were being charged, so I msg. Our butler and asked what we were going to do for supper now that we could not get to Zoetry all I got back in reply was a sad face emoji, verry helpful.|Though the beach area by our pod was verry nice and the view was great.|The beach staff had the same work ethic as the restaurant staff. The sun loungers were only put back in order three times in a nine day stay, glasses and empty champagne bottle would stay on the beach for up to three days before collection and beach towels could be there for up to four days even after torrential rain falls.|||        There are other things we could bring up but what is the point. When I look at the reviews on TripAdvisor the hotel is not listening. The problem rests with the management for not insisting on higher standards from their staff, but if this is      standard the management are happy with then definitely stay away from this resort.||Even the response's to people's concerns are cut and paced by G. Tromp|Sales Trainee and management have done nothing to fix the same issues from two years ago

We stayed in Il Mare for the adults only experience. Loved the quaint beach area outside of our bungalow . Nice snorkeling right off the beach. The area has its own pool, bar and restaurant so it was great not having to fight the crowds. Gorgeous views from the pool, restaurant and bar. All of the staff were really, really nice to include at the main resort. One major disappointment was our last night there a really rowdy and loud group showed up playing their own loud music and getting drunk in the pool. BUT up until then it was a really relaxing experience.
