Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana

We decided to get married in Dominican Republic this year. We ended up choosing this resort because it had good reviews and we knew we wanted to stay in Punta Cana. When we got to the resort we were greeted with smiles, a mixed drink, and, some dancers. This made us feel very welcome. They showed us the reception area. They took a while to show us to our room. This is probably because we arrived on the wrong day (that was our fault). They promptly showed us to our room and brought us our luggage in a timely manner. The resort has great food options. The portions were small, but you can order as much as you like. I would recommend going to El Patio, the Mexican restaurant they have. For breakfast I would recommend Oceana. The drinks that we had on the resort were very tasty, but could use more alcohol. Other than that the food was great. The staff were amazing. They really made our experience great. Everyone from the housekeeping to the front desk staff were very professional, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Every request we had was taken care of promptly. We had a water leak in our room at one point and it was taken care of fast. Our butler, Domingo, was the best. He took great care of us. Unfortunately the majority of the excursions we had planned were cancelled because of the storm that was happening at the time. Despite this, the resort had plenty of entertainment and activities to keep us busy. On the day of our wedding ceremony. The staff did everything they could to make our wedding feel special. They took good care of our every need. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a place to stay in Punta Cana.

we spent 6 days at dreams Macao and had an amazing time. as soon as we got there we felt a welcomed and taken care of and throughout our trip al the staff was very helpful and friendly. the resort itself is beautiful and kept very clean, the pools + beach area are gorgeous and all the bars had nice drinks and were well stocked! Carlos, damary and Yolanda at the pool made sure we were always taken care of when it came to drinks and we made sure to grab a picture with them before we left. Medina was our butler and he checked in every morning + made sure our fridge was stocked and if we needed anything changed or replenished he was on it! Overall we had an amazing experience!

We went for a wedding with a big group. We had a blast. The resort was awesome. The rooms were awesome. The staff was beyond amazing. They were friendly and engaging and super nice.There was so much going on all the time. It was such a beautiful place couldn’t have asked for friendly or people to be around everyone was so accommodating|Hope to go back soon had a wonderful experience

By far the best all inclusive i have visited. I have gone to a few in Mexico and this one TOPPED them all. First, I would like to thank Adrian, our Butler, he was very attentive and quick. Frank, the bartender at the preferred bar and the bar by the restaurants 10/10 and super nice. Babyface, AN ENTERTAINER for sure! Angel, man this guy can make things happen! We enjoyed our stay and are definitely coming back. We are doing our wedding here in 2027 and honestly, i would love to have all of them service our wedding. They are TOP NOTCH!!

Cons: ||-The beach area was very nice but the water is rough and when the tide is high the beach is very steep down to the water||-The food was meh for the first two days but drastically improved during the last three. Whether this was because of higher guest bookings for those days or the sudden appearance of high level corporate staff? Who knows, we did appreciate the improvement in the food. ||-One evening there were multiple vendors set up along all pathways and public areas selling wares - think souvenirs, cigars, etc. This would've been fine but there were several that were very aggressive to the point of following us after we had declined and were walking away. It was annoying and caused us to return to our room early that evening.||||Pros:||-Service was amazing, all staff were respectful, attentive and kind. There was a fairly significant language barrier for our group being English only speakers. I don't fault the staff, we were visiting their country, if anyone in your group has allergies or other special needs just be sure to learn the Spanish words for those issues. Use a translation app.||-The adult only preferred pool was the perfect relaxation spot. Moises runs it like a well oiled machine and we spent most days there exclusively.||-We didn't have any children with us but the family pools and water park seemed well cared for and kids were having fun. ||-If you have a large group get a villa, wonderful amount of space and away from most of the noise.||||We were five friends traveling as a group an we had a lovely relaxing vacation here. It's a lovely resort with wonderful staff.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful stay at Dreams Macao Beach, and I can honestly say it exceeded all our expectations!||||The food was fantastic throughout the resort – every meal felt like a treat. Our favorite restaurants were the Asian (especially the teppanyaki table, such a fun and delicious experience!) and the Seaside Grill, where we enjoyed some of the best meals of the trip. The drinks were also top-notch, with a great selection available all day long – we especially loved trying the cocktail of the day.||||One of the big highlights for us was how relaxing the whole experience felt. There was no need to get up early to reserve sunbeds – plenty of space and comfortable loungers whenever we went, which made a huge difference.||||The activities were fantastic too, with something for everyone. We particularly enjoyed candle making and pottery making, which were both unique and a lot of fun.||||We visited during Halloween, and the resort really went above and beyond. They pulled out all the stops to make it an unforgettable experience for both adults and kids – from decorations to entertainment, it was simply incredible!||||Speaking of entertainment, the entertainment team deserves a huge shoutout. There was a great choice of shows and activities, and the team worked so hard day and night, always with a smile on their faces.||||A special mention to some of the amazing staff who made our stay extra special:||||Rigoberto and Jesus at the Preferred Family Pool – always so friendly and attentive.||||Yuberkis at the Reef Bar, who kept the drinks flowing with a smile.||||Domingo and Jensel, our wonderful butlers, who couldn’t do enough for us.||||Tairi and Baby Face from the entertainment team, who brought so much energy and joy every day.||||||Thank you, Dreams Macao Beach, for an incredible holiday – we can’t wait to come back! 🌴✨

We just got back from a week 7/29 - 8/5. We stayed in the preferred member section and it was wonderful. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I want to mention Moses and Yolanda who both work at preferred adult only pool. Their service was amazing , attending to our every need. By the time we left yesterday we felt like they had become our friends. We will definitely miss their smiles and excellent service. The spa is amazing. We had a couples massage and it was excellent. Sandra was my massage therapist and she was very good. We were there for a wedding ceremony and the resort did a fantastic job from the beginning to end of the re. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was beautiful. We would highly recommend this resort for a destination wedding.

I visited this hotel with my daughter and friends. We were here for a total of 8 days. According to the reviews, I had high expectations from the hotel complex. And how did it all turn out? The welcome and reception were absolutely fine. Everything turned out as it should. As for the room, it was always tidy, but some parts needed to be repaired. For example, bubbles in the wood from the table, the air conditioning was growling at higher speeds. Sometimes damaged plaster. But in general I can say that the room was not top, but it was good. What disappointed me in the room was the minibar. I had to insist every day that the minibar be replenished. And it even happened to me that beer was stolen from the minibar. I know, because I don't drink beer 😊. I reported all these issues to the reception. Unfortunately, I did not receive any feedback. The beach, pools and water slide were very well prepared and I have no complaints. The food and drinks were very good, but not the best. The main restaurant was great and probably the best. The other restaurants were disappointing for us. Mainly Asian, Italian. These restaurants simply can't do it. The seafood restaurant is also very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. What we didn't like at all was that if you wanted to sleep, you simply couldn't. The music throughout the area played long into the night, even at 11 pm. That's a big mistake. In general, I rate this hotel at 80%. And I would focus on the volume of entertainment at night, repairs to details in the rooms, and I would probably cancel the restaurants that can't do it. I would definitely return to the hotel.
