Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana

This place has beautiful rooms, comfortable beds. The service has not been what I’m used to at these resorts, except for our VIP concierge, Junior who has been outstanding and has handled every request we have asked of him with professionalism and a smile. Upon arrival at about 2 pm after checking we went to the get a bite to eat and noticed dirty wet towels and partially eaten plates of food at various empty tables and chairs around the pool. The spa treatments are very expensive but wonderful. The evening shows have been great. We have had to ask several times for our mini bar to be replenished which is supposed to be done once daily. Housekeeping does a good job. The worse thing is the constant mowing of the lawn and leaf blowing. It doesn’t seem to matter what time it is. Yesterday between 11 am and 1:30 pm they were in the area right behind our pool chairs, it could have been longer but it started to rain. This morning they woke me at 8:15 despite the fact I had earphones in. Honestly I would rather be inside my house with snow outside and quiet than in a beautiful place with a constant lawn mower.

I stayed there with my wife for 5 nights. The staff was excellent, we had the Preferred Membership where we had Roberto to assist us with all of our needs on the resort. He was an excellent resource to have and was very good at his job. The property was beautiful and well maintained and again the staff was friendly and helpful. The employees there are very hard working. However, I would highly recommend staying in a Preferred room because you get all your meals made to order and of a higher quality. I went to the lunch buffet, which is what you get when you do not upgrade to Preferred, and was not impressive. The only complaint I have is that there are some employees in shirts that indicate that they work at the resort but they end up asking you to go to a breakfast the following day and offer some coupons. This was obviously some type of sales pitch which I did not appreciate considering I had already given the hotel a good amount of money. I would say it was an excellent trip all around and I would recommend Dreams Royal Beach if you are considering a trip to the DR.

We stayed a week in Oct 24. Location was perfect. Beach was lovely although there were an awful lot of traders, but you get that I suppose. Main restaurant was OK, the other a la carte restaurants offered better service and more choice. Staff were great, very friendly. Rooms were a little dated, clean enough but not what I would call 5 star. 4 at best. Evening entertainment was fairly average, good fun, just not great. Overall a really nice hotel, but if you're used to 5 star and luxury, this is not the place to go. If all you are after is a bit of fun, above average food and great service, then this is the place for you

Absolutely amazing!! We came for NYE for 7 nights and had the most amazing time. Everything was impeccable, from the cleanliness, food and drink options, staff, housekeeping, room service and the location. |Everyone was so friendly which made our holiday, Mr Wonderful, Orlando and Tony (part of the entertainment team) were so lovely - easy to talk too and so much fun! They are a credit to the hotel and I'm really glad we met them, to the point i was really sad to be saying bye to them - they deserve all the recognition in the world!! They were always high energy from the morning when we saw them to the nighttime and always made us feel so at home, ensured we were always okay and having fun. A massive thankyou to them!! |Gerson and Maritez from the beach bar were also amazing, they made us feel so welcome, always chatting to us and making us any drink we want. Absolute Gems who went out of their way to make sure we were all okay and had a drink lol.|Everything else was perfect, i cannot fault this hotel at all, they helped with excursions and any problems with we had even though there wasn't many at all. The location was great, right on the beach front and not too far from the airport.|I highly recommend Dreams to anyone visiting Punta Cana, we had the bestest time!

Lovely hotel. Rooms spacious, clean and great jacuzzi bath on balcony. Bed so comfortable and big, great night sleep.||Good choice of food and drink 24 hours. Lots of daily activities organised with entertainment team and good evening shows. Service great. Never a problem getting a sunbed and plenty of them, no need to get down early to reserve 😊. Well kept gardens and everywhere spotless. Beautiful beach and warm sea. ||Highly recommend this hotel, if you thinking of going just book it you won't regret it. Will be going back.

We just got back from an amazing trip! I went with my husband and two young kids and the resort was so family friendly and accommodating of our allergies and specific dieterary restrictions. Special shout out to our butler Marcelo who went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs! He was incredible and really made our stay amazing. Also everyone at the hotel was so friendly to our children. Special shout out to chef Francisco and Ernesto at Fusion who were so accommodating to our foods and meals every single day. Thank you!! My kids loved the night entertainment, pools and beach. The room was spacious enough for our kids. We would definitely recommend.

We celebrated my husbands 40th bday. The staff took very good care of us. Special thanks to Melissa serving us each night during the shows, she went above and beyond! Dolores at the Pool was great, made sure we always had a full drink. Jorge and Lucia at Interlude bar were great also. Lucia liked to joke with my husband about him only being 25!||Our butler Martin was good as well. He was pretty prompt on responding on the whatsapp messaging. He got change for me a few times for more tipping. I don't think that's something they normally do but he made it happen.||No issues with housekeeping and having a full frig in our room. ||We had a little bit of issue using the TV but we got it figured out.||Do take an extension cord (no need for an adapter if you're coming from US) because the outlets are pretty loose.

The Entertainment, the housekeeping and all the staff, we're amazing! Fabulous and super sweet! I did not want to leave. Best Vacation I've had. Definitely coming back!! Will be sharing with Friends and Family my experience. Highly recommend!
