Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana

We came here in October for a wedding, the staff are absolutely amazing! Dolores, Lucia, and Jose C (concierge) were absolutely fantastic. The property is beautiful. Food is good, not great but definitely can find something to eat at all the restaurants. I do wish the kids menu was a bit larger. We went to the buffet every day for my toddler to have a variety of choices. The building we were in had beautiful rooms, there was some damage to the roof of the walkway (we were on floor 3 of building 4) that was being worked on our first day, but none of the rest of the time we were there. The staff is incredible! We truly loved them!! My three year old and 4 month old were doted on by all of them. Overall our stay was wonderful. My favorite drinks were the tiki tiki and the Lucia special. My friends wedding was absolutely beautiful here.

I just loved my vacation at Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana. My friend and I were there for a week from Oct 26-Nov 2. We thought the grounds were beautiful, and the resort was excellently maintained. The beach and the pools were plentiful, and we took advantage of the amazing fitness/outdoor classes. Loved the Dance Fitness class! Tony and the E-Team were absolutely incredible. We especially loved the evening entertainment/shows.||||The food options were good - there was always plenty to eat. ||||We had a great time at the resort and would highly recommend it to families with kids or adults looking for a getaway.

This was our second visit to New Preferred Club area which was not affected by renovation. We enjoy staying at this new area even though it is little bit far from the beach. Walk through mangrove is very pleasant, every day you may discover something new there. ||The resort grounds are very well designed and maintained. There are enough chairs by the pools and on the beach. There is no need to get up early in the morning to reserve the spot, unlike some other resorts we’ve been to. There is also new addition to the beach area with few cabanas which we found quite enjoyable. ||This being our second visit it was really nice to be recognized by the staff from last year. It really felt like we came back home. Our butler Billy made us feel like part of the family. Overall resort staff, especially at Preferred Club area, is one of the main reasons we came back and will probably return again. ||Renovation at main lobby presented some small inconvenience but was not a deal breaker and it will be great to see what improvements have been made if we come back next year.

We went to celebrate two birthdays and our travel agent said she noted it on our account. I had to prompt them to put a banner on the room the day of my friend’s bday and they claim they had no notes about the occasion. Room wasn’t fully cleaned when we arrived and I had to ask for the sheets and headboard to be cleaned. The food was mid and often lukewarm/flavorless. Lucia is the best bartender on the resort. She is charming, friendly and good at her job. Entertainment staff did their jobs and tried to engage folks. Waterslides were fun even for adults. The resort was under construction and the elevator near our room was out for at least a day. Had to remind them the second day there to restock the waters in the mini fridge. Diogenes who worked near/at Seaside Grill was a pleasure. He was friendly and his happiness infectious. The spa staff were excellent. Some of the best massages we ever received. Beach was clean and chairs were plentiful. I was also there to consider that as a possible location for a wedding, but have decided to continue looking.

Dreams Royal Beach in Punta Cana was a wonderful experience! Our room with comfortable and large And immaculate! The staff are friendly and helpful. We got what we asked for almost immediately when we needed something. The food is phenomenal especially the café buffet -there was something for everyone-And it was delicious! One night they even had unlimited lobster tails! The dessert bar is incredible And has a variety From cakes to specialty items to ice cream! The grounds are beautiful and small enough to get around yet so full of greenery and beautifully maintained shrubbery that you feel you’re in a lush tropical forest! We can’t wait to go back!

A big thank you to our Preferred Club Concierge, Billy! He went above and beyond to make sure our trip was fun and covered. We highly recommend him as a butler! We love our trip to Paradise! We just came back from our stay at Dreams Resort Punta Cana, where we enjoyed the Preferred Club experience — and it was absolutely amazing! Every morning, we were greeted with exceptional service at Portofino by Daily, Margarita, and Jacqueline. They were outstanding — warm, attentive, and always providing world-class service, not just at breakfast but any time we needed assistance. Our room was always spotless, fresh, and beautifully maintained. Elizabeth, thank you for keeping everything so clean and making it feel like home — you were incredible! We also received excellent attention at the bar from Marilyn. From the minute we walked in, she greeted us with so much joy and enthusiasm. Her positive energy set the tone for our entire trip — we knew right away it was going to be amazing! And we cannot say thank you enough to Marcelo, the best butler and concierge we could have asked for. He went above and beyond to make our stay effortless and unforgettable. His attention to detail and kindness truly made our trip special. We’re so grateful to the entire team for making our vacation a dream come true. We can’t wait to come back!

Our experience here was pretty subpar. The resort is beautiful, it’s right on the beach, and the rooms are nice and clean. However, the service at most restaurants and bars is quite slow and the food is not good. We ended up upgrading to preferred because you won’t have access to any of the more decent restaurants if you don’t. We noticed that our room service came MUCH quicker after upgrading to preferred as well. Not sure if this was just a coincidence though. The morning that we were checking out, the power in our room started turning off like every 5-10 minutes. It did this for about a whole hour. We weren’t sure if it was happening to the whole resort or if it was just a way to get people out of their rooms faster lol. Our flight didn’t leave until the evening we checked out so we left our bags with the front desk. When we came back to get them, it took like a whole hour for the staff to figure out where they were. Thankfully, we weren’t in a rush to the airport or anything. Secrets resort is right next door so we ended up spending most of our time at their pool because it’s bigger. We were excited about the water park but it’s sort of a far walk from everything else so we only went once and did not return. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but not great either.
