Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana

We had an amazing expierence at dreams royal beach! We stayed in the master suite with private pool in the preferred section. It exceeded all my expectations! Our concierge, Billy, was amazing! He went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met. The entire staff was warm and welcoming and all made it a point to acknowledge our children and make them feel special as well. The resort is clean, our room was very comfortable. The entertainment both day and night is fun and family friendly. The food is OK, it’s not great but it’s not bad. However I do not go to an all inclusive with the expectation of 5 star food. The preferred breakfast buffet has many options and a great omelette station. The burgers were great everywhere! And the hibachi was fun. My favorite dinner was the fajitas at the Mexican restaurant. Overall we had a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone!

We stayed at Dreams Royal Beach from 9th-21st June . This was our 3rd visit. We just love this hotel it has become like our second home and if we could give it 6 stars we would. ||We always go Preferred and we always have a swim up room. My husband has limited mobility due to surgery on his hip and knee so we tend to spend most of our time just chilling outside our room and getting in the lazy river when we want to cool down. We booked to stay in the old section again this time so I e-mailed the hotel and requested a sunny room with easy access to the lazy river and close to the restaurants and the beach. Our room was ideal and totally exceeded our expectations for which we are very grateful. We were allocated a corner room with an extra bit of garden where we could move our beds when we lost the sun outside our room and we were situated halfway between the buffet and restaurants on one side and the beach on the other. Our room was always cleaned to a high standard. We also had a nightly turn down service and the mini bar was always topped up.||From the moment we arrived to the moment we had to leave we were looked after so well. The service, assistance, kindness and friendliness we experienced was top class. You have an amazing team from management to cleaners who all work very hard to ensure that their guests have an enjoyable holiday - nothing is too much trouble. They are a credit to the Hyatt brand||A few people to mention in particular.||Firstly, a big thank you to our butler Mayker who looked after us so well. He messaged us every morning detailing the day’s activities and came round to our room daily for a friendly chat and to see if there was anything we needed. Secondly, the lovely Delores. We met Delores on our last visit in December 2023. She remembered us and looked after us very well throughout our stay and even converted me from Pina Colada to her famous Tiki Tiki! Our thanks also to Felix and his team at the World Cafe. Felix also remembered us and as before was always there to help frequently finding my husband at the buffet and carrying his plate back to the table. We also visited all the other restaurants. The food was always good and the service was great.||It didn’t bother us if we had to wait for a table at any of the restaurants as it meant we could have a drink at the Veranda bar. Our final thanks go to Carlos (who we met before) and Kiara at the Veranda bar. What a team - they have a great working relationship and work very hard not just serving drinks but chatting to people and making sure everyone has a great time.||All in all another fantastic holiday. We always feel so comfortable and relaxed at this hotel. There is always a great atmosphere - not just with the staff but also the other guests. People passing by in the lazy river will often stop to chat and we have made some great friends during our visits.||We will definitely be back but it will have to be next year. It is our 35th wedding anniversary in September 2026 and we can’t think of anywhere else we would rather celebrate it - see you then!

We had the best time at Dreams Royal Beach. We had a Preferred Pool Terrace room, which was perfect. We loved the quiet of the preferred area, and enjoyed having the pool and easy access to the pool bar in our back yard. Our room was spacious, comfy, and always clean. The housekeeping and mini bar staff were on top of everything!! Martin, our concierge, ensured we were set for success throughout the week. ||Our top highlights included:|Our balinese bed day. JD took exceptional care of us, and we had the most relaxing day ever. |Special shout out to Miguelito who kept the drinks flowing during our beach trips :)|Our 13 year old son's favorite part was Dolce and the strawberry ice cream!|Dinner at Oceana was superb. |Getting to walk through the mangrove and check out all the wildlife. ||We truly had an amazing vacation, and would highly recommend Dreams!

My family and I had an amazing time staying at Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana. Most of us stayed on the Preferred side, which was quiet. Amenities are great at this hotel, and the food was delicious (all-inclusive). I highly recommend the Preferred Club, because we also had access to a personal concierge, who was able to arrange reservations or events for us, which made the experience so much more relaxing. I would definitely come back to this resort! Wonderful stay!

A large family group arrived at the hotel at different times during the week of June 25th-July 2nd. Check in was smooth for most of us. One family did not get the room that was booked. That was a problem because a brother and sister, both teenagers were assigned a room with one bed! A room with two double beds was was was requested at the time of the booking. It was resolved the nest day! Our Butler was very nice and helpful if you hunted him down. He would find us on the property occasionally just to say "Hi." Beer, soda and water was restocked in my room every single day...not so much some of the other people in our large group. Service in the preferred restaurants was HORRIBLE! We waited for 2 1/2 hours for breakfast one morning! One evening we waited for the same amount of time and missed the one show we really wanted to see. The food itself needs a lot of work. It was tasteless and just bland. For Preferred club service, I was VERY disappointed. I have been to this resort before and it was fantastic but was unhappy with the food end of this visit. Now, on to the great stuff! We were a family of 32 from many different places in this country and others. The resort was beautiful, spacious, the many pools were immaculate. Bar service was not only good, it was fun! David at the infinity pool was the all time favorite for this group. He made it so much fun for all of us but especially the younger people in our group. The room was cleaned daily. Night time turndown service was a sometimes thing but who cares? I would recommend this hotel for the facility and the people. If you are a "foodie" you will be very disappointed.

Had such a lovely stay at Dreams Royal Beach! Came for a birthday vacation and booked Preferred Club - highly recommend! We requested early check-in and extended our checkout by several hours, which was processed for us no problem, and our concierge Junior was so helpful & friendly throughout our stay (6 days). Drinks were delicious and pretty in presentation. Portofinos, Dolce, and Seaside Grill provided yummy food options for us as vegetarians, and having access to SO many pool & bar options ensured we were never bored exploring! Love the bridge connecting the main lobby to the preferred area, and shuttles were available somewhat frequently to take us from area to area, as needed. Housekeeping staff was so helpful, and I was super pleased with our room, location, and cleanliness! They prepared a super sweet birthday surprise including cake & champagne (pictured) which was so fun to see when we got back to our room! I told all my friends and family, and can't wait to return with friends, soon!

Just did a week long stay here and the service was unfortunately terrible. The only poolside staff that was AMAZING was Sergio. Our butler Martin was wonderful as well. We got the preferred club and the poolside service was not good- if you don’t tip right away, they are rude! Had many people turn their backs as we were trying to order, they literally make eye contact and walk away. The restaurant service was also not good. They can’t accommodate to any food, asked for chicken instead of shrimp in something and got told no with no explanation. Our room got cleaned 3 times of of 7 days, and we had to ask twice for it. I heard SEVERAL people say how bad service was everywhere, which was sad because we really looked forward to this trip as a new family. Also, they need more entertainment. We found ourselves bored often. I will say they were VERY sweet to our 8 month old which was nice. But overall, no.

There are several restaurants to choose from. The buffet was consistently good with lots of variety. We especially enjoyed the Italian à la carte restaurant. Some wait times at dinner were longer than expected, but service was always friendly. 🍹 *Bars & Drinks* Cocktails were well made and available everywhere — at the pool, beach, and lobby. The swim-up bar was fun, though it could get busy in the afternoon. 🎉 *Entertainment & Activities* There was always something happening — beach volleyball, aqua aerobics, live music, and nightly shows. The entertainment team was energetic and made the experience lively without being pushy. 💬 *Service* Overall, the service was excellent. Staff were friendly, attentive, and eager to help. A few service delays happened during peak times, but nothing major. 🧼 *Cleanliness & COVID Protocols* The resort was very clean and well-maintained. Hand sanitizer stations were everywhere, and rooms were cleaned thoroughly. --- ⭐ *Final Verdict: 4.5/5* Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana offers a great mix of relaxation and entertainment. It's ideal for couples, families, or friends looking for an upscale all-inclusive getaway with a beautiful beach and great food. I'd absolutely consider returning.
