DreamWorks Water Park at American Dream is a great spot for a family day! The park is big enough with plenty of slides and attractions that kept both the kids and adults entertained. We had a blast! I definitely recommend renting a loft or cabana—especially if you have a baby or you're coming with another family. It gives you a nice space to relax and take breaks. One tip: wear water shoes! The floor can get really slippery, though they’ve added anti-slip pads in some areas to help. Also, even though the website says no outside food or drinks, we noticed no one was checking or enforcing it. I’m giving it 4 stars because the baby changing station is poorly placed. It’s right in the hallway near the lockers, where people constantly pass by or even use it as a table. I had to wait for others to move just to change my baby, and honestly, babies deserve more privacy for diaper changes. Overall, still a fun water park and worth visiting!

What an amazing experience! This water park had something for everyone tons of fun rides for all ages and an impressively large wave pool that kept us all entertained for hours. We rented a cubed room ( blue suite) for 10 people, and it was perfect private and comfortable, with a fridge, snacks, and even two complimentary kids' towels. It also included room service, which was a great bonus! The food and drinks were a bit on the pricey side, but honestly, it was worth it for the convenience and quality. My favorite spot? The relaxing hot tub area pure bliss! I would absolutely recommend this place to families or groups looking for a full day of water fun.

This was our first visit to the American dream. We bought the tickets online and for the parking as well. Unfortunately none of the tickets were transferred to my phone. Service goes through a link website that was having issues. Had to check with the front office and they cleared us to go in. We still could not get the parking pass and the girl in the front office said she would send in over to my email again. But it never was received. Before we left the park the office gave us a QR code receipt. They did not explain that you had to use it when you actually exit the parking lot. We were trying to use it at the machines you run your ticket through to pay inside the mall. Confusing if you have never been in this the mall here before. So we ended up paying for parking twice. Make sure you do not park in lot D. A would be the preferred lot. Kinda a long walk for my mom In her 70's. My kids had fun on The wave pool and on the penguin slides. It was a really hot day when we went 95 so it was pretty brutal inside. Stuffy and very humid and hot. Definitely not for the older generation. Super heavy chlorine in the water, my eyes were burning most of the day. Still burning as I am writing this review. My son also was crying and Complaining his eyes hurt. Make sure if you have goggles they need to be on the whole time in the water. But my mom did not go in the water and her eyes hurt just from walking around the park We also ate at the burger shack which was pretty good. We had nachos, chicken nuggets, a chicken sandwich and a cheeseburger. We all liked our food and would eat their next visit if we needed to. We spent about 6 hours here and the kids did not want to leave. I said ok kids let's get ice cream at the troll's spot! Both of my kids had the churros and sponge bob ice cream bars and they thought it was Pretty good.

Being there was the best fun we have had in a long time. That indoor Waterpark was so huge so many rides. The music was awesome all day. The food was good. By the time we left we were absolutely exhausted. The changing room and bathrooms were very clean and tidy. For anyone that would like to know the lockers are $20 to lock your belongings. We had a cabana and looking down on to the pool is simply beautiful. I will say it does get hot in there but all in all the experience was 10/10 I will definitely go back again. Oh yes the stairs to get to the water slides is a bit crazy tons of steps so you will have to pace yourself.

SPLASH-TASTIC REVIEW: DREAMWORKS WATER PARK AT AMERICAN DREAM MALL The Grown-Up Take: Hold onto your swim caps, folks, because DreamWorks Water Park is a tidal wave of fun! We made the pilgrimage to the New Jersey American Dream Mall just for this aquatic wonderland, and let me tell you—it was shore worth it. Parking? A breezy $5 (practically a drop in the bucket). The mall itself is massive, but after a quick consult with a map (and maybe a minor detour or two), we found our watery paradise. Walking in was like stepping into Shrek’s swamp—if Shrek traded mud for a monsoon of slides, waves, and adrenaline. The wave pool? Unreal. The lazy river? Anything but lazy—more like a "splashy scenic cruise" with waterfalls, bridges, and enough spray zones to keep you cool. Lifeguards were on point (shoutout to the vigilant crew keeping us all safe while we acted like kids). Pro tip: Get there early to claim your throne (or at least a lounge chair). Food? Classic theme park fare—cheeseburgers, onion rings, even empanadas (because why not?). The Prince and Queen hit the slides hard and declared them "amazing," which, coming from royalty, is high praise. The Prince’s 12-Year-Old Verdict (Unfiltered & Full of Energy): OKAY, SO. The How to Train Your Dragon rollercoaster waterslide was INSANE. At first, I was like, "Eh, this might be kinda slow," but then—BAM!—the first drop hit, and a booster track YEETED us forward like Toothless on a sugar rush. The third drop? A 20-foot drop before another launch. I actually screamed (but in a cool way, obviously). The rafts fit four people and were crazy durable—like, Viking-level sturdy. The line took a while, but trust me, SO WORTH IT. Final Splash-Down: This place is a 10/10, no question. We’re already planning our next trip because once is never enough when you’re living the splash life. If you’re debating whether to go, just dive in—you won’t regret it! Rating: 🌊💦🚀 (Translation: "Soaking Awesome") See you in the wave pool!

Just had my first splash-tastic adventure at DreamWorks Water Park! 🎢🌊Overall, it was definitely an exciting and fun day packed with lots of slides to conquer! They have a fantastic selection of slides to get your adrenaline pumping! So many different thrills to experience. However, a bit of a bummer – two of the rides were down during our visit. Lazy River Relaxation & My Absolute Fave: The HOT TUB! ♨️ As someone who's perpetually cold, this was an absolute lifesaver. So incredibly nice to warm up and relax in there! Thrill Seekers Beware! 🌊 A Little Too Thrilling for My Face! The thrill slides were definitely a blast! However, a little word of warning: on one of them, a ton of water went straight for my face, and I genuinely couldn't breathe for a few seconds. Scary stuff! Be prepared and maybe try to angle your head! Also, make sure you're a confident swimmer for some of these rides – they can get intense! I was pleasantly surprised by the showers in the locker room! They offer complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, which is a nice touch. However, my shower was a little unlucky – the conditioner dispenser was completely empty. The food options inside the park were… okay. Honestly, I think they could really expand the menu and add some more appealing choices. The current options felt a bit limited. On the bright side, they do have alcohol available, so that's a plus! A Little Spot Check Needed! 🧹 One small thing I noticed that wasn't the greatest was the cleanliness in some areas. I saw some icky stuff on the ground, like fake eyelashes, band-aids, and fake nails, especially going up the stairs to the rides. It would be great if they had staff regularly walking around to keep things tidy. Final verdict: Despite a few minor hiccups (and that face-full of water!), I did have a fun time at DreamWorks Water Park!

We took the kiddies for a special birthday celebration. The slides are great and the place was giant. The place was populated and the temperature inside was warm. The staff were good and the service was even better. The water was clean and the place looked well organized and maintained. Their restrooms and changing rooms were all fantastic. We had a great experience and we are grateful to all the staff working here daily to make sure this place is of standard.

Google
Dream Works Water Park is the best! I wasn't sure about getting a ticket since my husband isn't here and I'm not into huge slides, but I'm so happy I read some reviews! My kids and I had a blast!! There are slides for different ages, so even if you're not into the big ones, you can still have fun with your kids. I suggest getting tickets online. When you get there, just show the QR code to get in quicker. It says online they open at noon. But we got there around 10:30 am, and there were already people there. Lifeguards are everywhere! I usually don't leave my kids even for a second, but I feel safe at DreamWorks Water park! We will definitely coming back!

Yelp
Expensive tickets but it was actually worth the money. Went on a "premium day" so the tickets were $89 each. $5 parking only and $25 for a large locker rental. Decided against the turbo pass which was a great decision. It's pretty empty early, so if you get there right when they open, there are zero lines for anything. We did about 8 or 9 slides and the rollercoaster right off the bat then hung out in the lazy river and wave pool for a bit. Food isn't cheap, but it's not as bad as I thought it would be. $13 for a bucket of fries that four of us ate. $16 for a decent pizza (8 small slices). They say you can't bring food in unless it's an allergy, but nobody was enforcing this and we brought Uncrustables and bottles of water without a problem. 5 stars, highly recommend.

Yelp
Amazing indoor water park! It's like 85 degrees in here. Awesome slides for kids and adults. The pizza was decent, we only tried cheese, birthday boy's request. Really got me considering the Annual Pass.

Yelp
This water park is a nice get away from the winter weather. It's nice that it's heated so you forget it's 20 degrees and raining outdoors. The park is huge! There are lots of rides for kids and kids at heart to enjoy at different thrill levels. We really enjoyed the wave pool. The waves were by far better than other wave pools we've experienced. The waves generated were pretty accurate waves to the open ocean with the shore break. The huge drawback and disappointment are the locker rooms. There are locker rooms for women, women with children, men and men with children. However, the showers do not have doors or curtains and so many men kept entering the women's locker room. I did not feel comfortable showering or changing in there. Be sure to bring your own towels.

Yelp
Four stars for fun slides and features. Some improvements would be more chairs, additional food kiosks, and a way to TIP THE BARTENDERS! There's literally no option or even a cash bucket. They work super hard, make great drinks, and should be able to receive tips.

Yelp
Very big water park for being indoors. Plenty of slides, lazy river and wave pool. The whole getting the inner tubes or mats at the end of the slide which is hundreds of feet away from the start of the slides is annoying and should be worked out another way for the price you pay to get in. Gets very busy so plan to wait an hour or more for the really big slides. Lockers should also come with the price of admission, an extra $20 or more for a locker is ridiculous for the price they charge just to get in. The locker and changing rooms/bathrooms should be staffed. You have to walk through the changing rooms to get to the water park and there are men walking through the ladies rooms and women walking through the men's rooms. Something bad can easily happen so that needs to change. All and all a fun water park that every kid will love.

Yelp
We went on a March Saturday. Regular price online was $99. $109 at the door. There were also twilight ticket option ( I think around $60?) if you just go last two hours. We bought a Black Friday deal so we paid 1/2 price. Parking: $5 whole day. Mall parking. I think the closest is parking lot C. Lockers available to rent. It's in the changing room and some at the swim area. Small medium large lockers ranging from $15-$25. The website says no outside food allowed. Only one bottle ( Non glass) of water per person allowed. But I saw people brought in different food/ snacks including a Jollibee fried chicken bucket! Pro: - impressive big wave pool. - shower have wall mounted shampoo/ conditioner and shower gel. Most of them are filled. However , when you pressed it, the whole fill tank fell off easily. You can see a few lying around on floor. - line for rides wasn't long at all. Took us about 10-15 min wait for tube ride. Expect to climb lots of stairs. Btw. No shoes allowed on rides, not even water shoes. - my kids like the park and they want to return. - special slides ( penguin area) for young kids under certain height. My 8 years old was too tall to get in. Con: -seats/ chairs are first come first serve. We got there in the afternoon and most empty spots are 'marked' with towels and belongings. No real persons sitting in them. We had a hard time just finding one empty chair to place our bags. - Trash left behind by swimmers at the chair area were not cleaned. I didn't see any staff cleaning. I did see staff clearing water puddle, pushing the water to the ground drain. Since we left at closing, same trash were left at the seats for hours. - no towel provided. Bring your own! You can always buy one there if you don't mind. Expect to overpay of course. - showering area is poorly maintained. Ziplock bags/ price tag/ even a sock was on the floor. Water temperature was in the hot side and it's non adjustable. It's press and spray. No adjustments. The two spray heads I tried was defected too. You hardly feel any water. - showers have no door. There's a sign: keep your clothes on ti shower. - customer service is so so. Staff will be happier somewhere else. - three small hot tubs. Get crowded easily. - price $99 per person is overpriced. Overall, we probably won't return if it is full price. I understand waterpark costs a lot to maintain but a family of 4 will be $400. For $400, I would expect a cleaner place and a much better functional showering facility.

Yelp
Had a blast went during peak hours brought the Turbo pass rented a cabana. I did not see my girls all day.(bonus lol) Staff were friendly and kind. My son is a lifeguard so I appreciate their hard work. They were all very attentive, some were, even smiling and dancing with the children and singing as they floated by on the lazy river. A bit pricey to get in however, considering it is an indoor waterpark and it is someplace fun and entertaining during the cold, rainy seasons it's well worth it. (Maintenance is expensive. ) My only issue is the floors are very slippery. My kids fell. Multiple people fell for a waterpark. The floor needs to be a lot less slippery WILL RETURN

Yelp
For a waterpark that is inside a mall, this place is decent. There are much bigger parks out there of course, but it is still a sizeable place for an indoor waterpark. There are rides for young children and more thrilling ones too. You'll find slides, tunnels, rafts, inner tubes and more. And at the center of the park is a huge wave pool. The main negative of this place is that is really overpriced for a waterpark. A day pass here is $99. They do offer a discounted price as well, where it is $59 if you go during their last two hours (5pm to 7pm). But two hours is really not enough time to enjoy the place. I went once and probably will not be back.

Yelp
Been meaning to go back this winter but reluctant because last time during our first, visit we experienced a number of issues. The wavepool, which is one of the main attractions was down, two other slides were not working and it forced everyone into really long lines even during a weekday. We went there to relax with the kids, but standing on lines all day because numerous activities were not available wasn't so great. It is likely we'll give them another shot, but we haven't been excited to go back just yet. Maybe calling a ahead to make sure everything is operational for the day is best.
google avatar

Yelp
Tickets range depending on peak days and times, so expect to pay around $100 on weekends. I knew this was going to be pricey, but this is the youngest you will ever be again, so might as well feel like a kid now! Lines start forming at around 20 minutes before opening. I recommend going early to secure lockers, which range from $15-20. Waterproof wristbands are used to scan open your locker. There's a women's, men's, and family locker and changing room that you must pass through to enter the park. Wear water shoes if you have because there are some rocky grounds throughout the park! I am so happy we went early because we were able to ride pretty much all the rides even on a weekend. The park didn't have as many rides as I thought. There's maybe 2 rides that recommends swimming ability for the deep pool at the end, but there are always life guards and life vests available. My favorite rides are the Zany & Zanier Zigzag and the Dreamworks Dream Runner. The trapdoor rides unlocked a new fear in me. There's a wait for the Dream Runner and group tube raft ones, so maybe start off with those. I haven't been to a water park in a while, so I enjoyed the variety of different rides DreamWorks was able to incorporate into an indoor park. The wave pool is also a fun attraction that I'm sure emulates a beach for people. I recommend going once especially if you're looking for things to do at the mall!

Yelp
Waterpark itself is great was clean, employees were friendly and rides were fun but to have a Waterpark where you can't walk without falling because the floor is beyond slippery is just plain dumb. 3 of my kids fell as well as my self plus so numerous others

Yelp
I loved it here so did my grandson. We went on small quick wekend vacay. We will be returning in the near future.

Yelp
So much to say. I will say that I had a good time. The place was clean, esp the bathrooms, and the staff was kind. Lots of things to do and I could ride the Lazy River all day long. BUT I really couldn't understand how whole families got to come here because it's expensive per person for one day. There are places in the Poconos with indoor water parks where you could at least stay overnight. And then the food is overpriced. I did, however, like my onion rings but would I pay $7 for 7/8 onion rings again? Nope. The crowd gets to be too much, esp on the Lazy River. I think they should limit the amount of tubes put out & whoever doesn't get one has to wait. It gets congested like rush hour in Manhattan. Lastly, I don't like that they don't check bags. Sadly, in this day & age, a LOT of things can go wrong with that.

Crystal C.

Yelp
Dream works water park is super clean, we have been to many water parks, dream works has the least chlorine smell and the cleanest water and locker room. We love their simulation beach pool, huge. Highly recommend

Yelp
My 2 year old couldn't get enough. While my family did go during peak hours, we still had a blast. It was CROWDED and I don't think the family locker rooms are large enough to accommodate everyone's needs, however you can make your best judgement. Water was nice and warm and the air had a humid/ tropical feel. My son went back and forth between the Kung Fu Panda playground/ splash pad, frozen penguin slides, and the giant wave pool. It's a water park, so while it was messy and wet everywhere, I did always see an employee cleaning or helping patrons no matter where you were in the park There are better deals online than in person when purchasing tickets. We will aim to come during off peak hours next time to try and avoid some of the lines .
google avatar

Priscilla S.

Yelp
I think this is a really nice water park however I probably will not be returning for several reasons. The overcrowding in this park is a bit ridiculous & the way GROWN people want to fight & argue over CHAIRS is insane. I really do think management needs to scale back on the number of tickets that are sold for the day. There's just way too much going on & it's very hot, humid, & muggy in there.
google avatar

Yelp
DreamWorks waterpark seems like a top notch facility but there were a lot of shortcomings during our visit. The water park has the best theming I've ever seen for a water park. The wave pool is huge but it wasn't working during our visit so that was a bummer. We had looked forward to the waves but there were not any. Also they force everyone in and out of the same narrow entrance to the pool so there's a logjam of people trying to get in and out of the pool. They should remove the barricades that block access. There are about 4 hot tubs but only one was open during our visit and it was extremely crowded then they even closed that one, too. Lines for the water slides were VERY long. I didn't see any costumed characters anywhere during our visit from 10:30-3:30pm. My children have food allergies and they took that seriously when I inquired about ingredients and getting a hot dog without a bun. A+ There's a lot of room for improvement but we look forward to returning in the future.

Yelp
First time at the water park here. The entrance is inside the mall so you can park anywhere that is for the mall(paid parking). It's huge inside ha. Very very high ceilings for the multiple slides that are through the park. There are slides for all ages too where it gets crazier for the older kids ha. Plenty of benches and seating. You can also pay for cabanas which looked nice. There's a wave pool here too which is awesome always. There are plenty of lifeguard roaming around as well. Lockers and changing rooms and a snack bar. Basic pizza, hot dogs, sandwich's and salads and drinks. Great way to spend the day with kids. The reason for one less star was the prices. Pretty expensive in my opinion especially the food and drinks.
google avatar

Mickie K.

Yelp
I bought the twilight tickets it was $182 and some change for 3 people. It's only free for kids under 2, anything pass that your still paying full price for 3 and up. There's no discounts for kids it's the same exact price as an adult. There's no student discounts or anything like that. Just military and senior discounts. In my opinion I had a great time with my family. We were able to go to most of the rides besides one that was closed. In the center of the waterpark there is a wave pool, they are got a lazy river too. This place is right inside the mall, they also have tilt, mini golf, legoland, sealife and nicelodeon inside, which is really cool for the kids. I went on 4th of july so obviously the tickets would be 10$ more then the regular days. This was the first time I ever been here and honestly I think this place is more for the kids and that's what I was looking for. My family had a blast and I would definitely bring them here again when they are taller to get on the other rides. What I do like about this waterpark is that they have variety of rides for different ages. They do have the height sticks for who can ride what. The cons about this place is the lockers are so expensive $15 for medium and $20 for large the women/men changing rooms/bathrooms literally male or female can just walk in and see you change to be honest. Anyone can get inside.
google avatar

Tony C.

Yelp
Had alot of fun here and their wave pool is MASSIVE. but at $100 per person, makes you question if you should just go to kartrite or camelback and pay $500, sleep overnight and get their waterpark access for free. When you visit DreamWorks, its only a 4-5 hour period your ticket is valid for so beware. Their changing area also doesn't have alot of showers and the showers doesn't have doors since they want to facilitate quicker turnaround. You are instructed to wear your swimsuit to shower here. Lots of changing room. No towels provided so you have to bring your own, the food is terrible and expensive, you are not suppose to bring outside food but I see plenty of people did since they didn't really check bags.

Yelp
Heyyyyyyyyy friendsssss!! Listen I'm on vacation having a GREAT time with my family and this place is DEFINITELY it!! First it's at one of the LARGEST AND GORGEOUS malls I have ever been to!! It's too beautiful there!! Imagine going to a MALL that has the most beautiful scenery and furniture ever??? Yessssss!! This is the place friend!! Don't worry about parking because there is A LOT of places to park BUT born g your comfortable sneakers because this mall is HUGE. If you can't find something then... it doesn't exist!! There are places upstairs to eat so you don't have to worry about that and if you have small kids there are lots of places to go. The water park is FUN FUN FUN!! Great for the kids and adults!! There are slides and a HUGE pool that has waves that's go up and down and a lot of places to rest and get some sun!! I can't put into words how much I enjoyed myself. I will DEFINITELY come back again and please don't forget there is also a THEME park on the other side. This place has EVERYTHING and I definitely recommend bringing the family!

Yelp
This is probably one of the best waterparks I've visited. It's super close to Manhattan. The only thing I have against it is that it gets so crowded that you can't ride that many rides unless you spring for the turbo pass. After that cost, you'd be out like $200 each person just to visit for the day. The layout of the park is pretty good, and even better than Hurricane harbor in Jackson. The rides are set up so that multiple rides have the same stairs and the tubes are on top of each other. The capsule slides are even more intense than the ones I've seen elsewhere. They don't have too many food options, but they don't restrict you from packing a lunch either.
google avatar

Yelp
Overall, this was a very fun water park night out for my friend and I. We bought the twilight tickets for $59 each from 6P - 8P as I thought it would be less crowded. The crowds were very manageable and we only waiting a few minutes to go on anything. The lockers are $15 for a smaller size which seems expensive but we both used one so not a problem. I think they could work out a MUCH better payment system with the bracelets to pay for things in the park itself. We would have ordered food but didn't have our wallets on us once we got inside. I liked the tube slides and the zany zagler or something like that the best. The wave pool was a fun time as well. We didn't end up going on the floating river because it looked just meh to me. The one thing that did sort of creep me out was the water everywhere on the floor considering you are walking around in your bare feet at times. Felt like pools of water everywhere especially in the locker room, where my flip flops were actually being suctioned to the floor, which weirded me out. That all said, we had a blast and bonus points for being 15-ish min from my house.

Yelp
The slides were super fun but avoid the jungle jammer and the thrilagasguar and mad flush
google avatar

Cindy F.

Yelp
Finally made it to the water park with my family. The food options in the park itself, are practically non existent. Which is one of the reasons for my 3 star review. The park itself is pretty large and clean, my kiddos had a fabulous time. I had purchased 50% off tickets on Black Friday. I definitely would not pay full price. While there are a good number of slides, the wave pool takes up the majority of the space in the park. My kids really did enjoy the lazy river, and the slides they were big enough to go on. We went on a Friday in February so the park was empty, and it was a nice family day. Honestly I don't know if I'll be back in the future.

Yelp
Appreciate the initial replies from the business owner. Here are responses back, which I will keep in the public Yelpiverse since I think there's value added in a public discussion. Maybe everyone gets smarter when all parties have good intentions. "Due to the waterpark being kept around 81 degrees, and the skyboxes not being fully blocked off, they tend to be as warm as the park." It is far warmer in the rooms than it is at ground level in the waterpark as heat rises and the sun additionally warms the entire space on sunny days. 81 F is comfortable-ish. It was warmer than 90 F in our room. "Each room does have a light switch, located right next to the door." We saw the light switch. In our room, it did not appear to be functional. "Any ride outages that we anticipate lasting the full day are always noted on our website, as well as at our Admissions Counter. We encourage our guests to check our website before coming to be aware of which rides or attractions may not be in operation for that day." Where are the ride closures listed please? I cannot find them on the website. Also, are the rides that require one to manually carry heavy tubes up many flights because conveyer belts were not in operation listed on the website? Operating them in this way effectively puts the ride out of commission for all but a certain subsection of guests. "DreamWorks Water Park water quality technicians take water quality very seriously. These technicians follow all NJ State Sanitary Codes for Public Recreational Bathing. Our water quality technicians test water quality every other hour and must report all findings to the local health board." I'm glad that you test the water in compliance with law, but air quality was the issue I raised in my review. Now that you mention it, several of us did develop skin rashes as well, though we don't in pools ordinarily. ********** Even more concerning was the fact that a slide -- the turquoise one in the all ages area next to the Shrek ride -- tore skin and clothing and there did not seem to be a protocol in place for safety reports to reach management or others who may remedy the situation. ********** Thanks so much for taking the time to respond in a public forum. I hope there are substantive changes, not just words.

Yelp
It was horrible. At first, it was fun for my son because there wasn't any lines and he went down 3-4 slides. After that, it began to get extremely hot in the waterpark and I almost passed out. While that was happening, my son was in line for the DreamRunner for 4 hours, just for it to break when he got to the end of the queue. Many more slides were also on maintenance (was never notified of that) and it was overall a bad experience. Definitely not coming back here ever again.

Yelp
Just went there this weekend and when I tell you it's looks better then it actually is I mean it . The wave pool is entirely to salty it's disgusting ! There are multiple cracks in the wave pool , which I cut my toe on . Most importantly I came home SICK . A bad stomach virus from that water . It's like they never completely drain it out and refill it with clean water . They just put more and more chlorine on top of nasty water that people have been in all day . Urinated in and probably have open cuts or god knows what . It's not safe or sanitary PLEASE CLEAN THE ENTIRE PARK FOR SOMEONE ELSE GETS SICK !

Yelp
Took my son here a couple months ago and he had a great time. I've taken him to a few different water parks, this was by far his favorite. He especially enjoyed the wave pool. We will definitely be back

Yelp
This is hands down my favorite indoor waterpark yet. There are countless rides and areas for people of any age to enjoy. My favorite was the wave pool and the fact that characters walked around and provided photo ops. We got a selfie with Shrek! There is a splash pad area, water playgrounds, and lots of bigger rides to enjoy. The facility is clean and impressive looking as well. Locker situation is well organized and food options are decent. I can't wait to return here soon!

Yelp
Had so much fun at this water park, I definitely think it's a little over priced but if you use the resident discount code for 20% off I think it's worth it. Definitely a must try for anyone who's in the area. Always warm, not over crowded, and fun for the whole family.

Yelp
3.5 stars 100% recommend getting the twilight tickets from 5-7. There are no lines for anything, very few people, and the tickets are $40 cheaper! 2 hours is all you need honestly because it's not a huge park. I thought the life guards were super attentive and on top of safety. Swim vests are provided free of charge and available in sizes infant to adult. They provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the showers. We had a really good time but here are some not so great things to keep in mind: Chlorine! Wow, yes obviously there's chlorine but the amount of it is overwhelming. I left feeling like I had a head full of it. It'll burn your eyes and linger! You have to buy tubes for some of the attractions. Given the exorbitant ticket prices, this is really a bummer. The water in the wave pool is not as warm as it could be. My child was freezing to the point of her lips turning a bit blue, we had to spend most of the time in the hot tub. You have to bring your own towels. Not all of the attractions/rides will be working (this is not a twilight thing, it depends on the day) People do not respect the family changing areas. Meaning there were men in the women and children only area. I wish there was better enforcement of observing the rules. Staff is not very attentive, but they're all very young. As someone else mentioned there is virtually 0 security. Which on the one hand means no one is going to give you a hard time about bringing in outside food/drink but on the other, there's no one monitoring what's going on.

Yelp
Went here for a birthday party and it was an amazing experience. I heard about this place for so long, yet this was my first experience. I can see why this place is so popular. The lazy river and the wave pool alone were amazing experiences. Other experiences like seeing the DreamWorks characters like Shrek and Trolls were also fun as well. Such a great time and I am looking forward to coming back, especially knowing that this place is open year round and not just during the warm weather months.

Yelp
Great experience. The employees were Friendly, helpful. But, there's was bad. The place needs a complete maintenance job. Things were breaking down causing waiting times that could have been of more use to explore more of the park. The bathrooms need to be up kept hourly. Too much piss and used toilet paper everywhere. I would look into hiring people to aren't scared ti get their hands dirty. But like I said great experience worth the money spent.

Yelp
Great indoor water park to visit during school hours, when there will be less of a crowd and shorter lines. Contrary to the rules, you are allowed to wear a rash guard or some kind of covering inside the park if you need to. One thing to keep in mind is that all the slides require walking up stairs to get in line for. There are a lot of stairs. I think you have to be in good health to be able to get off an attraction and get run back up 4 flights of stairs to get in line again. The attractions closer to the jacuzzi have significantly warmer water to soak in. Keep your elbows up and arms across your chest when going down the speed slides. The guy working at the first aid station kindly patched my sliced elbows up multiple times because the bandaids kept coming off. Employees are really attentive and helpful. I do prefer going to Nick Universe to the water park, but it's a good option to have close by for cold winters when you cant get away to a warm beach.

Yelp
let's see, the wave pool doesn't work and is broken today. The wave pool has bits of sharp rocks floating around in it. The wave pool has potholes in the ground. The wave pool has sharp edges on the bottom (all around). One hot tub (out of 2) doesnt work and is broken today. The lazy river has potholes on the bottom. The lazy river has sharp rocks on the bottom. Most of the stores in the mall were closed today, most of the restaurants were closed today. there isn't much for toddlers to do and the park is small in comparison to other indoor water parks. save your money and go somewhere else.

Yelp
I've been to many water parks and this one wasn't too shabby. It definitely could be better if they open up more rides, specially during non-peak days. Having lazy river closed was a big bummer for us. With a toddler, there's only few things you can do. If you are mommy and daddy with kiddos needing supervision, you cannot get on most rides as they require 2+ riders. You are pretty much stuck with the main pool, the not-so-hot hot tubs, and the Kung Fu temple. Not saying those are bad but choice is limited. Only negative is the food option. There is 1 place that is quick serve with pizza, hot dogs, chips/cheese, pretzel, sandwiches, salads, etc. Had a little pizza the size of your face, chips with cheese, and soda for $28 which is ok by theme park standards. By the way, they only had water and few bottles of ginger ale. This was around 3pm. Some of the food items were not available either. Hope they really improve on this. The management should know that this is extra revenue generator and I was surprised to see this. Specially with a name like Dreamworks. Few things to know if you are going: 1. They use salt water. 2. Bring your towels. It's not available. 3. Food/drink option is poor, be prepared. I know outside food is not allowed but no one checks anything... which was a bit concerning. 4. 2-3hrs is more than enough to have fun with your toddler. Go during non-peak, twilight hours to save money. If you care about having all rides available, you need to go on the weekends.

Yelp
An indoor water park in the floundering American Dream mall (second largest to Mall of America) at a cool $100 pp. What's the expression, I may have been born at night... but not last night... so my biologic aversion to being ripped off quickly kicked in. Like most things at this mall, everything just seems off. Another $100 to visit the tiny Nickelodeon indoor theme park and $55 to ride their ferris wheel that delivers a breathtaking view of the back of the mall and, if you squint hard enough, a barely discernable NYC skyline. About half of the retail space remains empty so there's little here to attract beyond morbid curiosity. There has been millions of state tax money squandered to prop up this slow motion disaster so to be honest I suspect that I'm a little bit more than morbidly curious. So, the question remains why would anyone dump multiple Benjamin's for a family swim with a four hour time limit. Find a hotel down by the shore and swim your ass off all day for the same or less... shower and towels included. About four bankruptcies ago someone thought this blighted white elephant was a great idea. It wasn't me. A very lame single star.

Yelp
Love this place. I came here with my husband and two daughters (4yo and a soon to be 5mos old baby). My baby slept the whole time we at the park. We bought the twilight tickets which covers 4-7pm in the park. Not much wait in the line for the rides because it's less people there. My daughter had so much fun at the wave pool and the kiddie slides. If you can ditch your kid, definitely try their other slides. Lots of fun!! For sure we will come back again another time. Hopefully my baby can play that time. Tips: Bring your own towel because no towels are provided. Locker rental is $15 for the day. Bring as little stuff with you as possible. Bring your own hair dryer if you need.

Yelp
This place is either going to blow your mind away or you're going to be totally underwhelmed. For me it was more of a mind blowing experience. Let's get a few things straight....yes they have Disney prices, yes it's new, yes all the rides are not open due to COVID-19 and yes the food totally could be improved but as far as indoor water parks this place surpassed my expectations. Key takeaways: parking is $3, the website mentions no reentry but that's not what the park attendant told me as we were leaving. On a Friday the park was not crowded, especially if you get there early. My family and I were able to ride every ride that was open and no wait time was longer than 10 minutes. Most rides are available for kids 6 and under and only a handful of rides require the ability to swim. Covid is real people but it is impossible to ride a water ride with a mask. So come early, sit with your group and have a good time. You can bring your own water and my son had a few snacks in his bag and we weren't checked at all. That's a good thing and a bad thing because I think they should at least check for weapons and so forth as I didn't see any security at all. The place is brand new and I'm sure they need to work out the kinks so let's give them a little time. The poolside cabanas aren't worth it unless they come equipped with a safe and a fridge...$200 for a cabana on a non peak day isn't going to work with most therefore I saw no families using them. I would certainly return as I think I had more fun than my son lol

Yelp
Definitely recommend coming to this amazing Indoor Waterpark. It might seem a bit small from the outside but, once you inside is a different ball game. Absolutely an amazing time with family. EVERYTHING IS PRICEY! We celebrated my nephew's 14th birthday and got the suite rooms. Super beautiful and private. They have menus in the room that you're able to place an order and they will deliver it right to your door. They do have lockers for the ones who just wanna get general admission tickets. All of their rides are super fun and exciting. My Three Years old nephew had a blast just because they had a play area specially made for them, super cute. The wave pool is huge and has its own little area where you can sit down and pretend you're at the beach ( close ur eyes and listen to the waves ) lol than pretend. I love that every hour or so they have different characters walking around saying hi to the kids then they post up so that parents can take pictures with their favorite character. Overall, the waterpark is lovely and is a nice little getaway for the day. Bring lots of money because just for a small pie of pizza it was about $14. If you're cheapy like me i would Just go for the experience, hey! It's a once in a lifefime kinda thing. Take those babies

Yelp
I had an amazing time at the DreamWorks Water Park! First thing I have to mention is get yourself a turbo pass so you can actually enjoy the park- It might be a little pricey considering tickets and everything but it is definitely the way to go. Second- the location is perfect... easy to access from New York. I cannot wait to go back to the mall and check out everything the mall has to offer. The water park itself? -- The slides... the vibes... the music... everything was amazing. They do have what I would call extreme slides- no thank you! HAHAHA! The ones considered moderate are super fun, so I stick to those! The DreamWorks Dream Runner was my favorite- super fast and you see the NYC skyline when you are going up. This is the perfect spot for some family fun or with your significant other.

Yelp
Lots of pros and cons here. Pro: offers indoor entertainment that could easily be 4+ hours. Cons: expensive, crowded in some areas (the lazy River), no good food options inside the park, extra charge for a locker (as if anyone would just leave their stuff out on a chair), bring your own towels after you pay $100 per ticket??? Pros: lots of lifeguards. Cons: my eyes burned from the chemicals in the air - no ventilation. The lazy River wasn't being regulated at all - people cut in front of us and everyone was fighting to get a tube. An employee should be managing the lazy River entrance. Lots of rust in the wave pool.....which is weird. Pros: plenty of life jackets and floaties available for use. Also, almost impossible to get a lounge chair and the park wasn't at capacity. Can't imagine the chaos when it's at capacity. Overall, my son enjoyed it but I doubt we will be back anytime soon.

Yelp
Went when the helicopter fell and we were forced to evacuate. But even before that happened this place was poorly operated we waited on a 2 hour line and no one told us that because we had vip that we could skip the lines. There is only a few slides a small lazy River that you can only go around once because it's that small and the wave pool was huge. It smellled gross. Now about the evacuation, there was no direction some of the exits went through the changing rooms and there were idiots who were changing. We were squished together and it took is 2 hours to evacuate. My husband who is a fireman said if this place went up in flames we would've been dead in minutes. Horrible place. Never going back! Kalahari is a 100 times better bigger and better slides!

Yelp
Definitely worth a visit! We brought our toddlers and extra adults so we could switch off babysitting duty. The water slides are a lot of fun. We went on a Wednesday and there was virtually no lines. The kids had their own area and a separate slides only area. They had a blast. Poppy the Troll came out a few times to dance and say hi to kids too, behind a stanchion. Was pleasantly surprised by the lazy river. It had a somewhat strong current so it made it a lot more fun! The kids and I went around several times in a row and they never got bored. My favorite slide was the Toothless Tricklin' Torpedo. It went around the entire waterpark and I was surprised by all the mini drops it had. Def ride it! Shrek's Sinkhole Slammer was fun too.

Yelp
We had a great time. went on a slow day so no lines at all. Went with a big 5 year old who's scared yet loves thrill and the rides were fun for him. Idk if this is normal or not but there was a male attendant in the changing/locker room which was odd to me and the rooms allow men and women so I'm walking around in a swimsuit with a bunch of men around

Yelp
I give it only four stars, just based on our review of the suite. America Pros: Clean Friendly staff (Kiera) Hand sanitizers around park Great rides for adults and children Wave pool is huge enough for social distancing. Sky box suites for privacy and comfort Apple TV in suite Complimentary towels (take them home with you) and drinks in refrigerator Plenty of outlets and usb charging spot in suite, make sure you bring your cord!! Cons: Of importance: you MUST sign a waiver and at the point, they TAKE your identification. It's not good enough to show it, they take it. My husband had his work identification and provided that to them, the problem is they FAILED TO RETURN IT!! In the midst of everything going on throughout the day, at the end when your ready to go home, and perhaps you've forgotten that you provided them with this piece of id. Well, we'll be calling to get it back. We had booked a Sky box suite (Tulum section, box 101) on 2/19/21 this is the smaller of the three suite selection that they offer. The suite holds up to six people, but it was just my family of three and we had plenty of room to roam about. There is NO bathroom in the room(something I would expect for a suite they're charging from $500-$1000 between peak and non-peak hours). We were informed that there is a bathroom down the hall that had no shower, if one wanted to shower, they would need to walk all the way to the changing room. Kind of defeats the purpose again, if you're paying that kind of money. They had a lovely sink, with no soap or paper towels. ????? Again, makes no sense. Lucky for me, I brought along my Lysol spray and sprayed down surfaces. There are two sofas, easy chairs and a dining room table that seats four people. No orientation as to how to operate the Apple Tv(we don't have one at home), the refrigerator was locked. There is no phone in the room to call down to ask for assistance, you MUST use your cell phone to call and sometimes the phone just rings and no one picked up. There is an attendant stationed outside, we asked her for some assistance at times. They came to unlock the fridge. The food situation: we decided to grab lunch (I knew beforehand you could order food from select restaurant in the mall and they would deliver, not a bad deal, right? How does that work? Go ahead and ask me? I'll tell you anyway, because that's the point of this objective review. It took us about an hour and a half try and order food! Of note: there IS a section inside the park that had food, but suite people couldn't order and have it delivered, would be a help if that was a perk. Upon entering the room, there was a blue sheet of paper with a QR code on it, with only Wendy's and Taco Bell. We decided upon Taco Bell. Scanned code and tried placing order, would not submit(that area was grayed out) couldn't figure out what was wrong. After you place the order, you must call the down to customer service in the water park to let the know who, what, where you ordered from and they would deliver to you. Still frustrated and annoyed, the angels sent Miss Kiera up to assist us, what a joy this young lady was, she helped us with the food ordering and operating the television and she was the one who unlocked our fridge. She was engaged with our seven year old and asked him about his likes of the park. What a GEM!! The food came and we ate and had plenty of time to rest and get back into the action. Suggestions for the suite: Paper towels and soap. Refit the bathrooms to include a shower. Provide your attendants with iPads so that they have all the apps on the phone so that they can assist you with ordering food. Place phones in suites with a direct line to customer service so that one does not need to use their phone.

Yelp
The park is pretty pricey, but still fun. Get the turbo pass $60 Don't eat here. I seen the pizza and the people eating it. They were unhappy .
