Switzerland LGBTQ+ Travel Guide: I've Visited 10 Times — and These Are the Best Spots for LGBTQ+ Travelers

"With Mürren’s tiny population of just 400 citizens, it’s a quiet place to stay overnight. The Drei Berge Hotel’s eclectic design of Alpine and mountaineering artifacts makes for a central place to stay in style, with beautiful nighttime views." - Adam Groffman Adam Groffman Adam Groffman is an award-winning writer, editor, and marketer. My husband and I had such a wonderful stay at Drei Berge. The hotel’s design is beautiful, blending modern comfort with Alpine charm in the most inviting way. We especially loved the restaurant, with its delicious Swiss cuisine and the lovely terrace, perfect for a lunch with stunning mountain views. Dinner was just as cozy and enjoyable. The staff were all so kind and attentive, making us feel truly at ease. It was the perfect getaway, and we highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone visiting the Swiss Alps.

My partner and I stayed at the Drei Berge for 2 nights. The rooms were beautiful and our balcony view was stunning. What seems to be the issue is management. The staff are very sweet (and I don’t blame them), but they don’t know much about actual hotel/ restaurant service. For over $400 dollars a night… you’d expect more. It seems ownership had a passion project in fixing up the hotel and then just left in-need-of-training young adults to their own devices to run the place. Overall- wouldn’t stay there again, no matter how beautiful the view. Was disappointed.

Perfect in Every Way||Our stay at Drei Berge was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. Rida, the incredible manager, his wife, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable.||The hotel itself is stunning—its Swiss-centric mountain decor is both stylish and cozy, creating an atmosphere that feels effortlessly luxurious. Every detail, from the crisp, comfortable sheets to the relaxing sauna, is thoughtfully designed for a perfect stay.||The food was outstanding, with a delicious breakfast spread, excellent coffee, and incredible local wines that made every meal special. Every bite felt like a celebration of Swiss flavors.||Drei Berge is a true gem, where exceptional service, breathtaking surroundings, and impeccable attention to detail come together seamlessly. We can’t wait to return!

Met the new general manager. Lovely guy. Great food. Great view. Great service. Cool retro interior. Great place for lunch after a good days skiing. Highly suspect coffee 😉

This hotel has a fabulous setting with a wonderful view from the large terrace where drinks and food are served. The decor is unusual and would more at home in Shoreditch than the Swiss alps but the rooms were comfortable. We had ground floor rooms opening onto pleasant green areas with seating. The young staff were very friendly and in particular went out of their way to make two special teas for our daughter when she was unwell and to locate paracetamol from their own supplies.|However, the restaurant is poor. The (Italian) menu was extremely limited consisting mainly of pizza (which was unavailable on the two nights we stayed) and a handful of very basic pasta recipes, at vastly inflated prices. The Japanese food noted by previous reviewers was not in evidence. We would recommend going elsewhere for dinner.

We loved this hotel. It was so charming and beautifully and stylishly renovated very recently. They thought of every detail. The views right from the hotel are unreal, among the best we’ve seen, and the food and service were fantastic. Nothing better than a day of beautiful hiking followed by a drink on the deck overlooking the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau. We cannot wait to return!

Unique, eclectic hotel in the beautiful town of Mürren. The decor is bold and creative, and every room is different. The hotel is clean, cozy and comfortable. The view of the Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau from our balcony was stunning. There was not a TV in the room, but there was a refrigerator. There were not a lot of choices at breakfast but the food was good and the staff very friendly.

We ordered a cheese fondue that came with: -mushrooms -pickles -fired chicken -prosciutto -bread -tomatoes The views were absolutely breathtaking as you can see from the pictures. The staff were nice and spoke English. We stayed here for about 2 hours. We ordered 2 beers with our meal and then finished with milk coffees.
