This has got to be the best meal we’ve had since landing in Europe 3 weeks ago. Go for the surprise menu - 3 courses plus a snack to start and it was fantastic - pomegranate cocktail was really good too! Won’t tell you what we had as it will spoil your surprise but really worth the money. Staff are friendly and very attentive too. Only negative for us was all the smokers!

The staff were extremely welcoming, understanding and professional. The atmosphere was minimalistic yet elegant. The food (sous-vide lamb shoulder) was exquisetly made; very soft as well as having a rich depth of flavour. It also came out fairly quick, with little waiting time (note that it was not very crowded). The focus is definitely on a quality service, which the price mirrors. Recommended.

The service here is top notch, friendly and knowledgeable. Enjoyed the cream of celery soup along with a main of saddle of venison. Perfectly cooked medium-rare with a rich jus. Highly recommend.

It’s a concise meal done exceptionally well. But the real gem? The surprise tasting menu—each course a refined revelation, inventive ravioli here, exceptional beef tartare there, all bursting with seasonal creativity. The wine pairing elevated the experience—staff suggested bottles that complemented textures and flavors perfectly. Conversations flowed easily, drinks lingered leisurely, and service felt intuitive without ever being overbearing. Whether it's a quick yet indulgent mid-day meal or an immersive evening of surprises, dreizehn by Gauster delivers a culinary journey that's stylish, sophisticated, and deeply satisfying. This is a high end establishment: fairly small menu though with much attention to detail. Great knowledge from our waiter who understood everything about the dishes and the wines - and even more about their 15 or 20 varieties of schnapps! Different.

We had a great time — tasty food, friendly staff, and great wine!

Great service. Not even by Austrian standards but really World class! We were given a table with a deadline (we had no booking and there was an evening reservation), but we bare felt it. The food was on time and we managed to have all dished well before the table needed to be cleared. The food itself was delicious. The beef tartare was really out of this world, the ravioli and gyōza were on par. I highly recommend the place.
