We came in on a gorgeous night when the patio was full. The host was so lovely and worked to get us a table as soon as he could. Excellent service all around. Food was also really solid. Would recommend if you are already in the area.

Try their bear. I loved the cowboy coffee porter! I ordered soup of the day. It was ok. I think ordering half soup with a burger is a better choice. Great ambience and the service.

We love Dressel's! It has become a regular spot for us. We love the burger; the fish and chips; the grilled chicken and the Porchetta Louie sandwiches, the grilled cheese... The Buffalo cauliflower is a standard app we order; it's delicious. The salads are good too. Consistency of great food and service is always appreciated. We will be returning again soon!

I recently enjoyed dinner with a friend at a vibrant restaurant on a bustling Friday night, and it was an experience to remember. As we stepped inside, the atmosphere immediately captivated us with its classy elegance and thoughtfully curated interior design. We settled into the main dining area, where the crowd's energy added to the evening's excitement. For our meal, we decided to indulge in a few delightful drinks and dishes that perfectly complemented the ambiance. Our selections included: - Spanish & Gin Tonics (x2)– Refreshing with a hint of citrus, these drinks provided the perfect start to the night. -Octoberfest (x2)– A nod to the seasonal celebration, these beers were rich and full-bodied, enhancing our dining experience. -Deluxe Burger—This burger was nothing short of a masterpiece. It was juicy and loaded with toppings that danced with flavor. -Rueben Sandwich—This classic sandwich was expertly crafted, with layers of savory goodness that left us wanting more. -my fave - fish and chips If you find yourself in the CWE area of STL, I can't recommend this place enough for an intimate dining experience. Between the impressive menu and inviting atmosphere, it's the ideal spot to unwind and connect with good company. Trust me; you won't be disappointed!

We came to Dressel’s as a family because we love beer and fish/chips but got so much more! We ended up getting to talk with the owners and held a family dinner + wedding welcome cocktail here. Everyone raved about the food, and the service was amazing! I can’t thank Elizabeth enough for putting up with our group! The room upstairs was separate, cozy yet spacious, and had a separate bar.

Excellent service, great stout beer, delicious fresh soft pretzel, lemon-fresh Caesar salad fantastic hearty soups!!! Perfect spot to cozy up!

Welcome back, Dressel's Public House! I used to come here for lunch several times a month. Thrilled to see all the old favorites still on the menu, along with some exciting new additions. Congrats on the new Rock & Horse Brewing Company, offering a local microbrewery experience right in the heart of the area. The renovations are fantastic, especially the artwork that adds to the ambiance. We popped in for drinks and were impressed by the atmosphere and can't wait to come back for a full dining experience to taste both the food and the brews. I had an Old-fashioned and a Manhattan. Both were great. Live the vibe! The cocktails were great! So excited you’re back!

Google
The bartender sent the wrong beer. Which was a good mistake, but not what I ordered. Service was on the slower side. The pretzel was different and tasty. I had the Pastrami Louie I think it was called. It’s like a Philly and. It was huge “TWSS”! I will go again to try a couple other things on the menu that looked good. I think I just hit them on an off day.

Yelp
Decided to walk in for dinner with my wife and 2-month old, did not disappoint. We shared the fish and chips and fish tacos, which were incredible. The fish tasted fresh, and the batter was crispy and not soggy, making it taste light but filling. The tacos were also great with flavorful and not too heavy sauce. I had it with the house Pilsner which is brewed downstairs, which was smooth and a good pairing. Was my wife's best fish and chips in years since she was in Greenwich, London. Great service too, very accommodating with our newborn. Ambiance was classic pub-like, would be interesting to go in busier hours. Not a place like it in the CWE, hope they stay for a while.

Yelp
4 people for dinner. Waiting to sit outside only took about 10 mins. Tables and chairs very clean. Waitress quick to the table to take our drink o& food order. Ordered: chicken sandwich with fries , Rueben , fish tacos, hamburger with mac and cheese. Everyone is agreed the food was a 10/10. I only have one "complaint". We did have to ask 4x for milk for coffee. We finally got it after dinner was totally finished. (Company was so good I forgot to take pictures)

Yelp
I am a fan of Lam Burgers, so when I saw them on the menu, it was a no brainer on what I was going to order. When I ordered, I asked if the House Chips were similar to the original Dressel's chips and they said, they were. Again, no brainer on what to order. My Lamb Burger, was made with ground lamb from Colorado, topped with an apricot chutney, whipped goat cheese and garnished with a pickle and lettuce. OMG, it was so delicious. The chips were not exactly like the previous Dressel's, but they were still a good crispy side for my burger. I was dining with a friend and their order was the Ruben with Fries. She was not impressed with the Ruben, but her fries were top notch. I actually wish I had ordered the fries over my chips. When friends get together, of course you've got to have adult beverages. I ordered a, Handsome Stranger. I liked the creative name and it was made with Elijah Craig, a favorite of mine. It was masterfully made, so I had to have a second one. We dined at the bar, so our server was the bartender, Rachael B. She not only made our drinks masterfully, she was an attentive server, as well. So, if you're in the CWE and want a casual lunch or dinner, I recommend Dressel's.

Yelp
Dressel's was the STL staple that I am glad I finally was able to try! The menu has something for everyone. We had the pretzel and rarebit as an app. The pretzel was so fresh and delicious! My entree was the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato bisque. It was good. Next time I'll get this as an app to share. Don't skip on the bread pudding! Definitely the highlight of the meal!

Yelp
Enjoyed an evening at the bar at Dressel's. The host that night worked quickly with each guest to get them seated. There is a decent selection of beers on draft. I have been to Dressel's a few times and l have not had anything underwhelming. The lamb burger was good but the side of mac and cheese was delightful. I appreciated the staff and the environment.

Yelp
Being as I am the representivie of the older crowd, I have to say, this place is for "my people". What makes that the case? Above and beyond service, very personable staff and a warm welcoming feel to thwart place in general. Great fish and chips, but the daily soups are excellent. It's very much a pub menu and atmosphere here. Solid bar staff and I've never been disappointed.
google avatar

Yelp
My wife and I had lunch here and had a great experience. I started off with a Old Fashioned and my wife had a draft beer. We learned that they brew their own beer and my wife's brew was excellent. My wife ordered the fish and chips and I ordered the seafood chowder and fish tacos both excellent. The soup was homemade and delicious. We had a nice chat with the bartender who turned out to be the owner. Benjamin was so nice. Thank you. We will be back for sure!!

Yelp
A neighborhood hangout that has seen an upgrade and revamped menu. It still has the famous house made chips and rarebit cheese for the old timers and delicious newcomers on the menu. It's a nice spot not too expensive but can get loud when busy. The patio has expanded with the restaurant so it's easy to hang out here.

Yelp
Walking in Dressel's was a bit like walking back in time. It's homey and rustic, everyone seems to be a regular, the service is fast and personal, and the food is limited to a few traditional but well done options. The dish and chips are the best I've had in St. Louis. My partner had the lamb burger and devoured it. We could barely choose between the off menu desserts but went with the crème brûlée on the waiter's advice. We will be back to try their other staples!

Yelp
We walked in and were immediately seated in an empty restaurant. And then we waited and waited - for about 20 minutes with just menus and no server, just a bartender avoiding eye contact. We got up and left after a group came in and were immediately served. No idea why they ignored us.

Yelp
When they first opened few months ago, this place was gold. Today, we see prices went up few dollars-hairs and quality dropped. We ordered Lamb Burger - came with small salad (was just OK), House Salad (Mixed Greens only), Pork Soup (lots of fat, few pieces of meat), Côtes du Rhône wine (Solitude brand. It was good). Check total $70 for 2. It is overpriced. This building is cool. I love the interior. We sat at the bar and service was fast.

Yelp
The fish and chips was top notch!!!! Fresh, delicious piece of fish, expertly cooked, served with yummy fries. Good selection of craft beers. Service was excellent.

Yelp
Great neighborhood pub with a brewery on site. Really like the low key vibe. For the afternoons or nights where I just want a beer and a burger, this is it. Walking distance for me, and when the weather is nice, great to sit outside on the patio.

Yelp
I met a friend a few weeks ago or dinner and she recommended we visit Brennan's. Honestly, I had never been before, so this was a good choice for us to try! She used to visit often when she was in college and knew lots of the servers and told me that it was quite a great spot back in the day and that she used to visit it often over the past few years too! So, since she was such a regular, I had to visit! We arrived right when they opened so we were the first customers of the evening and found 2 seats at the bar! The bartender was so friendly and we talked a lot about their renovation and other things that are different (including the menu). She offered us some drink options and gave us the to review the menu. One of the managers came over to talk with us since it wasn't too busy and we started asking about menu items that he recommended based on the kitchen staff he had. He was telling me that the grilled cheese with the tomato bisque had different cheeses that they hadn't previously served before, but I was willing to try it! My friend is GF and asked about the bread options and they did have a GF bread for her burger which she was very happy about. We also ordered some fries as a side since they are also GF. Overall, the food was so good and that grilled cheese was served on the best sourdough bread! I will get that item again for sure and recommend it to others. I will add this location to my list of places to visit for drinks and/or dinner! Service was really great and as it got busier, we noticed that the servers, bartenders and even the manager still managed to make their rounds to ensure all their guests were happy! Honestly, I am sad I hadn't been to this spot earlier, but I am glad I tried it and can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Oh dressel's, how I love you. We went last night after a huge flop at another restaurant. They could fit in 8 people at 7pm and the host was the nicest person! Super accommodating and helpful. The reopened Dressels is just as good as the old dressels. Lamb burger was delicious. Everyone really enjoyed their food. I personally really loved the house salad- excellent dressing. Our server was really nice and did a great job. A huge draw for this place is the excellent on tap beer selection- my dad loves it. I love the wooden and brick interior. The round table we sat at made conversation easy in a big group. Get you butt to Dressels!

Mishell H.

Yelp
I have never been to Dressel's but was still super excited when it opened back up. Husband and I got there around 7 and were told it was a 20-30 minute wait. We put our name on the list and were told to come back in like 20 minutes, so we went next door to up down. When we returned, they had a table ready for us. We sat down and ordered drinks and food. Limited menu but what they have is yummy! Husband ordered the lamb burger with a side of fries and I got the fish and chips. We both also got drinks! Everything came out being delicious. Drinks were a bit slow but not terrible. Food was warm, delicious and tasted fresh. It was all really good. Decor was cool, they said it was different from before and they cut out part of the floor and put distillery equipment in there...(curious if they will start brewing). Server was very friendly and shared some of the changes that had been made! I will def go back and try more of this food! It was really enjoyable!

Yelp
This place is one of the best restaurants going in St Louis now. It was always great, but since reopening the atmosphere is better and the menu seems even tighter. My wife had the fish and chips, which she rated as the best in the St Louis area. I had the lamb burger with apricot chutney(which I always order), and it was as amazing as always. I had the house salad as a side and the manchego went really well with the basil vinaigrette. We also tried a few of their new beers, and I was surprised at how well-done they were. Finally, our server Rachel was outstanding. Super friendly and attentive.

Yelp
Always great service, reliably good food and drinks (especially the fish and chips. fish tacos and grilled cheese). Great neighborhood spot and a regular go-to for me and my husband and our neighbors in the CWE.

Yelp
Casual place. Good burger, the chicken sandwich was prettt good as well. Nice drink selection and the cocktails I tasted were pretty well done and balance. Nice spot for a chill dinner and a beer. Everyone was nice, no complains.

Yelp
They made a good recovery from pandemic. Nice staff. Good outdoor seating and they have some gluten free things. I love their Porcheta Louie sandwiches!

Mike N.

Yelp
The enduring memory from the dining experience-beyond the solid yet overpriced bar menu chicken sandwich, served by smug waitstaff--will be the host asking my table to leave after 40 minutes, following a 30-minute wait for the meal to arrive.
google avatar

Yelp
Dressel's is back and better than ever. The renovations are nice and you really do feel like you've stepped into an old pub. The fireplace during the cold months is definitely a great touch. As they will soon be brewing their own beer, there are distillery tanks on display when you first walk in and if you are seated on the non-bar side. Service has always been great with a friendly staff eager to welcome back customers. The pretzel and cheese is absolutely incredible. The chicken sandwich was great! Grilled cheese and soup--delicious! The only thing I wasn't 100% impressed with was the fish and chips. The fish was cooked perfectly but it was not seasoned at all. Hopefully just an off day for that. Lots of beer on tap, a great selection of drinks overall. This is the perfect "addition" to the CWE food scene that has been much needed since other tavern-style locations have left. Welcome back Dressel's, we are glad to have you!

Yelp
Located in the Central West End Dressels offers a "pubish" experience with a very warm, welcoming atmosphere and decor, loved the feel of whole place! The warm pretzel bread was great! We didn't love the Welsh rarebit dipping sauce-felt a little grainy to me so asked for yellow mustard which went well with the pretzel. House salad was very yummy! Tender greens, tart cherries, roasted sugared pecans and the dressing was tangy but balanced. We didn't love the Cuban fries-even with all the toppings they were dry and needed salt. They were just ok. The fried halibut was really delicious with really tasty tartar sauce! The staff and service were really great! There is a paid parking lot just past their entrance along with street parking. We will definitely go back to try their other offerings! Must tries are the pretzel bread and fish!
google avatar

Cynthia M.

Yelp
The upgrades are beautiful with the brand new beer distillery tanks! Check out the very basic and easy to order from Americana menu. Customer service is nice and the prices are in line with all the other establishments in the Central West End.

Shelly M.

Yelp
Food was ok but not interesting. Their food used to be really tasty so I'm a bit sad. We've been three times and aren't interested in another visit. Outdoor patio chairs are very uncomfortable so cushions would be welcome. Service was pretty good.

Yelp
Dressel's finally reopened!! Woohoo!! We stopped in on their soft opening day, they didn't have any ads announcing that they were opening other than a sign outside their door. To our surprise they actually had a decent crowd in there. We were cheerfully greeted by our server Matt, who I belive had every table that night. He took the time to go over the menu with us and tell us a little bit about the upcoming plans for the place. He was very attentive to us and the other guests. The atmosphere was more inviting and bright than I remember the old spot being. The bar was essentially in the same spot but looked a bit larger and updated. We ordered the Chips & Rarebit, burger, and porchetta sandwich, with tomato bisque and mac & cheese as the sides. My favorite thing from the whole meal were the pickles in the burger, they were homemade and had a nice bite to them. The chips & rarebit were bountiful and versatile, I ended up dipping the chips in the tomato bisque for a bit of textural contrast and it was amazing. The porchetta sandwich and mac & cheese both lacked seasoning -- salt/pepper, maybe a little something for a kick, heck even a few more pepperoncinis on the sandwich would've made a big difference. We also ordered a beer and margarita. The margarita was small but delicious, and you could really taste the tequila which is always a bonus for me. I would say for a soft opening they did amazing, we will be returning soon to try their other items and we can't wait for their brewery concept side to open!
google avatar

Adam H.

Yelp
This place has so much potential. They market as a local pub/social house but the prices and options are not amazing. The only vegetarian option (outside of the typical house salad) is a 16$ grilled cheese or 18$ impossible burger. I really want to make this place a regular spot especially with the brewery opening but I can't afford to come especially for a 22$ fish and chips. I understand it's in a fairly affluent area but there are plenty of ups ale places and we need an affordable "go to" spot. I'd be happy to edit my review if they make some changes
google avatar

Laurie K.

Yelp
Let me start by saying that this place has been around for a long time and yet this is the first time I have been here. They closed during the pandemic and reopened with some changes. When you are closed for a few years buildings tend to fall in disarray. So I am sure this was a big undertaking because this place is very...dare I say it...cool. I loved the ambiance. I liked that I was wearing a t-shirt and shorts w/flip flops and there was a woman across the bar from me that looked like she just stepped out of a Vogue magazine. And I felt comfortable. This place screams character. The service at the bar (where we sat was great! (The first time my friend was here was in 1984 and he said he had the best Irish coffee sitting at the bar. That drink wasn't on this menu, maybe it will be added after the soft opening.) This place is super clean and while it's still working in a "soft opening" environment (until they get the brewery up and running I was told) they may as well just bring in all the workers and open this place up because it was busy and honestly the years behind them shows. They know what they are doing. Between the 2 of us we had 3 drinks...the Spanish Gin and Tonic, the Perfect Cuba Libre and the Mita Marguerita. I honestly loved the Mita Marguerita more but not because the others were bad. They weren't. The Cuba Libre was in fact perfect and the Gin and Tonic had botanicals in it that really did make is seem Spanish. As for food, I was dying to try the Flash Fried Cauliflower. I hate blue cheese so they gave me a ranch dressing to dip my cauliflower in and it was really good ranch dressing. (They make it there I was told.) I was worried that it would be heavy or spicy, you never know if something that states it's BBQ seasoned is going to be more chipotle than BBQ but that cauliflower was fantastic. It was perfect. I could have eaten another serving of that for dinner but honestly, I am super glad I ordered what I did. But first let's talk about the Deluxe. My friend got the Deluxe. That was a BIG burger and he loved it. The fries are homemade and they were perfect. I like my fries not real crisp but between being a little soggy and crispy. That is what these were. Now, let's talk about my chicken sandwich and the reason this review is a 5. This chicken sandwich while needing a new bun (sadly, the fresher the bun the more it falls apart and this bun was fresh!) was the BEST chicken sandwich I have ever had. Seriously. Cooked perfectly, it wasn't cooked to the point where it was chewy. You knew there was avocado and bacon on it because you could taste it not because it fell off or was awkward to eat. I didn't get the pepper jack cheese cuz I am wuss about heat and I wanted the chipolte aoli. I was offered a cheese blend - I know it had swiss and provolone - or anyway I think it did and one other cheese. Again, I knew it was on there but not because it was too much. All of these things on a boring piece of chicken (cooked correctly) made it the best ever. Once they get the brewery up and running I will definitely be back. If I go now I will just get the chicken. I need to try to forget about that chicken to try something else. You know? Anyway, I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Best tomato soup in town. Great ambience, friendly staff, chatty patrons, they close too early!! 8)

Yelp
This is a pub/bar that takes its food just as seriously as its drinks. The food is fresh and from local farms, suppliers, and breweries. Diners Drive-ins and Dives featured them on an episode and for good reason. The Dressel's pretzel with Welsh rarebit (the pretzel had a slight crunch on the outside and a very pillowy inside), deviled eggs with wasabi caviar, and flash fried cauliflower are amazing appetizers to start with. For an entree, if you want to go the DDD way, get the Porchetta Louis, which has herb roasted pork, butter greens, peperoncini, and a three cheese blend on an Italian roll. It packs serious flavor! The space is large, so there's plenty of seating. Staff is very friendly and you may even see the owner dining with his wife and kids from time to time when he takes a break from behind the kitchen.

Yelp
Sometimes you just have to go for comfort food and Dressel's Public House is the place to go for me. It has the perfect pub feel - dark wood, a great bar and busts and photos of writers all around you. Parking isn't usually a problem since there is a lot just up the street from them. We were able to get seats at the bar and ordered our cocktails while looking over the menu. There were a few specials this evening also. We shared the wings dry to start. These wings are still connected so you have to break them apart. It's a little messy but the wings were delicious. I'm not sure what he got for dinner since it was one of the specials for the evening but I do know that he cleaned his plate. I went with a different special, the ribeye steak with fries. My steak was melt in your mouth and I enjoyed it immensely. We did share a dessert. The crème brulee and we scraped the dish clean. Would I come back here? You know I will. If you see me there, stop by and say hello.

Yelp
Took in a Sunday brunch here. We were pretty hungry, so we started with the house made chips and a side of rarebit. Chips were served straight from the fryer. They was pretty darn good. A slightly thicker cut let them stand up to the frying without being overly crispy, so that they still had some chew to them. The rarebit was pretty much like beer cheese, for chip dipping, which was much better than a plan cheese sauce. Burnt ends breakfast was delicious. Loved being able to mix up the sunny side eggs with some of the burnt ends, roasted peppers & onions. (And the burnt ends, peppers, onions were pretty good - well rendered meat & well cooked veggies, without being dry.) The Union Loafers toast was hefty. And the crispy potatoes were little savory bombs. I'd never had what are apparently a cooked and then flash fried small potatoes. They appear to be sliced before frying to enhance the effect. And for this dish, they are dressed with a tangy aioli that fills them out nicely. Biscuits & gravy was also very good. Nice, flaky buttermilk biscuits with a crispiness to the edges. It comes with two sunny side eggs, so you can make a big ole yolk & gravy mess if you want. And it also comes with sliced pickles. Pickles? What the heck are pickles doing on a biscuits & gravy platter? Tart, too! Definitely need to eat them with some biscuit and/or gravy at the same time. But actually, something different that actually worked together. Finally, the Morning After platter was a good solid choice. Eggs, sausage, crispy potatoes, and that Union Loafers toast. Too bad these potatoes don't get the aioli dressing. I liked the sausage; but the family didn't like it's roughly ground texture and fairly high greasiness. Servers and workers were very nice. But it was almost empty, due to the nearby Greek festival, and food still took forever to come. Good thing we had time to linger. Thankfully we ordered the chips right away so that we were still coherent when they arrived and we could scarf them all down.

Steve M.

Yelp
Food is great. Ambiance very nice and the service is great. Glad to see it back open.

Yelp
I've lived in Central West End for over 20 years but I regretfully didn't try Dressels until 3 years ago. BIG MISTAKE! This place is wonderful for so many reasons. For starters they give great service. I dislike the memorized dialogue at chain restaurants. This service is the opposite of service at a chain. At Dressels they assess the situation for themselves so it's a common sense type of service. Welcoming and attentive but not distracting. The servers use their minds to think of things like -oh, they have kids. I'll bring extra napkins. We got carry out last night (it's curbside during COVID). They appear to be following all the proper rules and precautions during this time. My husband ordered a Manhattan. After a brief discussion with the bartender, my husband and the bartender came up with the perfect mix for my husband. I ate the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The grilled cheese was a thick cut bread. Very good! My son likes their pretzel. I didn't get a photo because he ate it too fast. It's an appetizer but he eats it as his meal. I also had the field green salad. It's a simple salad and satisfying. I look forward to their reopening because I like their atmosphere. Hopefully that will be soon!

Yelp
Great place for a Sunday brunch! I found it a little weird- called to make a reservation for 8 people but they told me they weren't sure they could accommodate and they would call me back. They did call me back 10 minutes late to tell me they can accommodate but they made me feel like it was super busy and they were doing me a favor. When we got there, it was completely empty - we had the whole back room to ourselves. Wasn't sure what that was all about. Once we got there, service was fast- started off with the large pretzel to share of the table and mimosas for all. All the brunch meal choices were amazing and incredible. Prices are very reasonable. I got the French toast which was great. Ambiance is casual but still warm! Would try this restaurant again - maybe for dinner next! Before this, I had only ever been for drinks.

Yelp
I had such a lovely dinner here last night! I have been here before and the food has always been exceptional. What I ordered: we all got coffee. It is always great here! For starters, we got the paprika cauliflower and I loved it! It was flash fried, very light tasting, and the sauce it came with matched it so well! For my dinner, I got the house salad which I liked! It's not huge so it was a good option considering I wasn't super hungry. My boyfriend got the braised lamb burger. I tried it and liked it a lot! He got the Mac n cheese. I wish it was more cheesy; it was mostly creamy. Still good! Our waiter seemed like he didn't want to be there. Which I get it, but also it kind of took away from the experience. I will be back, Dressel's!

Yelp
I was delighted to find out the Dressel's was back! This is a gem in the CWE. The renovated space is expanded and as beautiful as ever. Some of the classics--rarebit and chips, truffled grilled cheese, and the porchetta sandwich are just as delicious as we remembered. They were once featured on Dinners, Drive-ins and Dives and the don't disappoint. This is a definite stop for a wonderful meal.

Yelp
Love Dressel's. Great welsh pub. Feels like a proper pub. Lamb burger is quality. Benjamin Dressel (owner's son) is a great fella.

Yelp
Love that Dressel's is back! I have been multiple times since the reopening and it has yet to disappoints. The remodeled interior looks excellent but still has the same feel as the old Dressel's. The menu is simple and hits all the sweet spots (pretzel is excellent as is the burger!). Can't wait for the brewery side to open and test out some pours of Rock & Horse Brewing Co.!

Yelp
We haven't been to this restaurant for a couple years, and this is a difficult review to write. I was with a group of 4, so each of us could write a different review. For the most part, our food was good. I had the Impossible burger, and enjoyed it. It has a different flavor than others I've tried, so I'm not sure how to review that, nor if that even matters. Our chips were kind of soggy, and a couple of the meals were lukewarm, so that was a disappointment. Our server was new, and seemed kind of overwhelmed. Therefore, we waited quite a long time for our food, even though our area wasn't crowded. It's kind of jarring to be charged for refills of iced tea, too. They don't serve fountain soda, just cans, so naturally, each can is a separate charge. But iced tea?! IMHO, iced tea refills should be free! :)

Yelp
We were there visiting my Husband's mother who is passing from cancer and as we decided to get lunch at a place we never tried and was excited we chose Dressel's. We are from Oklahoma and we were so surprised of how amazing the Cauliflower appetizer tasted. Seasoning was amazing! My husband got a lamb burger and I got their chicken sandwich which we both agreed that they were very under seasoned. This is where our visit went sour, our waitress was sweet and kinda until we returned our Mita Margarita... it tasted more of water down lemonade. The waitress returned it and the bartender of course rather than coming over to us and apologizing for the drink stood there and bad mouthed us to waitress and of course they both laughed. What should've taken 2 minutes to make a drink took him 6 minutes. I understand that no one likes to receive criticism but if you're working in this customer service field especially being a bartender you'd think you would've at least came over and personally gave the drink to my husband and asked him to taste it instead of giving it to the waitress and giving us a snarky look. Poor customer service. Very unfortunate to receive this kind of service especially when we were in St Louis for his mom who passed this last Monday. Do better.

Yelp
Mindbogglingly good service and fantastic food. No disappointment at all. I visited after seeing photos of their massive fish & chips. It came out perfectly battered and seasoned, crisp, and piping hot. The fish within was also really tender and juicy. Tartar and pickles were tasty, and the homemade chips were generously (DELICIOUSLY!) oiled and crunchy. Some even had a nice bite to them. They asked if I would like any sauce and I asked if they had something spicy. They really prepared a whole platter of spicy seasoning for me: sriracha, franks red hot, red chili flakes, and chili powder. It was amazing. Very attentive staff that kept wanting to bring me more water! Will be back to try other dishes!

Yelp
I was a bit nervous to come here after seeing it was on DDDs. I was afraid it was going to be overly crowded, and not worth the hype. Instead it was the perfect cozy pub on a cold winters day. We came here around 4:30 in the afternoon which we didn't realize was their small menu time (3:30- 5pm). To pass our 30 minutes until dinner we ordered the pretzel and the French onion soup on the appetizer list. The pretzel was warm, melt in your mouth, incredibly fresh baked bread. It comes with a gooey beer cheese dip that had a nice kick to it! The French onion soup was THICK, not overly brothy. It also came with the biggest layer of melted cheese on top. It was really something you could sink your teeth into. When we finally got around to ordering dinner I was so full on the apps that I went with something lighter. I ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The grilled cheese was covered in truffle oil, I could smell it as it was being delivered to my table! It's topped with 4 different types of cheeses and thick layers of texas toast. I don't know how they do it but the toast was just like the pretzel, warm, soft, and FRESH! The soup was so thick that I could stand my spoon upright in it. I would suggest not coming between 3:30-5pm as their full on menu offers so many good things that the smaller menu doesn't. Their menu rotates with the season to make sure they always have items that are fresh, from local producers.
