Great views combined with lovely food. Had the chicken focaccia which was very tasty and the squid salad was cooked perfectly. Will visit again for sure to try a breakfast dish.

This cafe Srift is not worth visiting because you have to wait a long time because a lot of people come but you will not get the quality you expect. We ordered two seafood soups for $60 and they brought us a plate each. I also stayed hungry and did not even try this soup normally because there was very little of it. All the furniture here is worn out. The prices are like a restaurant and the quality is like a snack bar. 100 people come to the restaurant Drift. And only two waiters work. During the entire service, not even one person came up to ask about the menu or about the service. The administrator does not even want to listen about the problem. The main thing for them is that people come, they do not bear responsibility and say that we do not serve on the street.

Food and service were excellent, and it was refreshing to finally find a good coffee after 2 weeks in Hobart. Great spot with an awesome view over the beach. Awesome way to start the day!

We had a wonderful lunch at Drift. We booked the night before and were lucky to get a table as it was full. The staff were friendly and efficient and the food came out quickly and was delicious. The location is stunning on the water, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend a visit.

Amazing meal, could not fault it. Thank you. Good view of the water, such a nice day. The staff were very friendly, attentive and efficient, they also had a good sense of humour. Great meal, good price and nice location, we are coming back for sure.

The Drift is the perfect location for an early breakfast or a weekend brunch!! The smashed pumpkin poached egg or the homemade granola and yogurt were very delicious. As you enjoyed your food overlooking the harbour. Service by Dane and Noah was terrific!! If you are in the area, please sure to check this place out!!

Venue: carparks. Beachside. Decorated with a lot of hanging green plants. Takeaway, dine in outdoors or indoors. Comfortable. Good vibe. Good view, grass, sea, and blue sky. --- 8.2/10 Service: Tap water is available when seated. The staff was friendly and nice. But, shortage of manpower. Needed time wait for ordering food --- 7/10 Food: very good presentation (better than general cafés). Normal portion. Reasonable prices. - Seafood Chowder, $28: served with 2 pcs of well- toasted sourdough and a LemonWedge. Creamy Chowder but not salty. Garnish with parsley oil. The seafood (scallop, prawns, white fish, and mussels) is mini sized. --- 7.3/10 - Battered Tasmania Gummy Shark, Chips, Salad, House Tartare, Lemon, $30: Good fish. Well-cooked. --- 7.3/10 - Spicy Orange + Ginger Rice Pudding, Orange Segments, Crushed Pistachio, Maple Syrup, (Special of the day), $23: it's not sweet. Pretty healthy choice. Garnished with dehydrated Orange --- 7.3/10

Yelp
Very pleasant and modern decor. Relatively extensive menu. Friendly service. Overlooks the Bluff Beach and the moody Bass Strait. Outdoor dining all year round but at its most pleasant in the summer months. A big favourite of mine when I'm in Devonport.
