When we arrived, the bar was already closed, but the owner still offered us some amazing white wine. Before I left to catch my ride, the owner treated me to a glass of their homemade vodka and even showed me the distilling equipment! It was such a delightful surprise, and I will definitely come back again!

Came here to get a few drinks with some friends, and this place totally blew my mind. They have a bunch of great signature cocktails that are inspired by different districts of the city. All of them are extremely well-balanced but have their own distinct character. The staff was absolutely AMAZING, friendly and hilarious, and answered all our questions in great detail. The custom gin-based "build your own drink" that I ordered turned out to be one of the best drinks I ever had in my life <3 Unironically the best bar in Hamburg!

Been here a couple of times since I live near, I love itttt! Bartenders are always very enthusiastic on answering to your requests and super friendly. The interior is very relaxing and chill. When there weren’t too many customers because of covid, one of the bartenders showed us the distillery which was very cool and led us to buying gin when we saw their logos in other normal stores!! I really love this place. Definitely recommend and so glad to have near our home.

Great atmosphere, interesting selection of drinks including the possibility to play dice to find your drink of choice. They also make their own gin (Clockers).

We were here with a group of around 20 people on a Thursday evening. Everything was fantastic from reservation (thanks to Laura!) until very end. Staff is ultimately kind. Definitely a “Geheimtipp” in somewhere in Bahrenfeld you can never think of.

Super helpful drinks mixer woman. Very knowledgeable and nice. Cool setting. Still feels like a secret as it’s not busy but enough people to make you feel you are sharing an experience. Not cheap drinks but they will talk you through recommendations and make sure you get something you like. Would recommend.

Amazing service and good cocktails worth the price. Nice atmosphere inside and unfortunately outside there is a huge construction work site but during the night I guess you don’t see it that much lol Anyway worth to go!

Drilling Hamburg is a traditional German restaurant located in Hamburg, Germany. As a diner who has visited this restaurant, I have mixed feelings about my experience there. The interior of the restaurant is cozy and rustic, with wooden paneling, warm lighting, and traditional German decor. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable, making it a good choice for a casual night out or a family dinner. The menu at Drilling Hamburg is focused on traditional German cuisine, with a variety of dishes that include meat, fish, and vegetarian options. The portions are generous, and the quality of the ingredients is good. However, I found that some of the dishes lacked flavor and were a bit bland. One of the standout dishes at Drilling Hamburg is their schnitzel, which is a classic German dish made with breaded and fried meat. The schnitzel at Drilling Hamburg is well-prepared and served with a variety of sides, including potatoes and sauerkraut. The service at Drilling Hamburg is average, with friendly and attentive staff who are knowledgeable about the menu. However, the service can be slow during busy times, and the wait for food can be longer than expected. In terms of price, Drilling Hamburg is on the expensive side. While the portions are generous, the prices are higher than what you would typically find at a traditional German restaurant. Overall, while Drilling Hamburg has its merits, it falls short in terms of flavor and value for money. However, it is still a good option for those who are looking for a traditional German dining experience in Hamburg.
