What a pleasant surprise— found this restaurant basically by luck. Some of the nicest and most innovative food we’ve had on our trip (including Florence and Siena). Enthusiastic and knowledgeable service. Extensive wine collection. Well worth a side trip just to eat there.

An impressive wine list complemented a classic, well-executed menu that delivered exactly what you’d expect. Service was warm and attentive, and both the food and wine were fairly priced

The location is excellent! It is across a parking lot, so you don't have to carry your luggage. Our room was very beautiful, the bathroom gorgeous and we loved the breakfast. The only downside was the price compared to the size of the room.

We ate lunch here and it was delicious! Their selections of Brunello on the wall was extensive. The waitress was helpful in advising us on a bottle and very kind.

Excellent restaurant. It’s the fourth time over last 5 years I have lunch here. Still as authentic and qualitative. Excellent wine card. Great service with the recently new team. Good job ! Continue like this !

I had dinner here yesterday and I could have dinner in special room that has wine storage. it was so fantastic experience and best of best dinner in Italy. Their staff was so kind and I could try several Italian wine tasting here. And their food? sooooo perfect. If you visit Montalcino, I absolutely recommend this restaurant.

Perfect location in Montalcino. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The room is fine, well decorated with a nice wine theme. Bed is comfortable. The room is super clean. The shower is in the room and it is really difficult to open and close, in fact the faucet was stuck and it required a lot of force to shut off. The room also doesn’t have a tv for me wasn’t a problem but some people might not like that. Breakfast was wonderful with really fresh bread, pastry and cook to order eggs.

A beautiful stay! Our rooms were immaculate and charming. Breakfast was delicious. The views of the castle are amazing. Everyone that worked here was so kind and considerate. This will be the only place we stay when coming to Montalcino.
