I took a capsule in the 6 bed room and it was nice clean and modern. But the strength of this hostel is the service. You will find a lot of recommendations on food and tours in the area. You will find maps and a little book with information on prices, food options and the english proficiency of the staff. The first floor is a bar and common space. It is comfortable and not to full. In the corner you can use a kitchen. You will receive one free drink per day, and in the morning free juice and coffee is offered. While the rooms are good and what you expect, they are nothing special. A classic 4/5. The service is, in regard to the price, very good. I always like guidance on the local cuisine, and free breakfast coffee is obviously appreciated.

1. The staff is great. They are super nice.2.The room is 'huge'... kind of like what you’d expect in a good dorm room. 3. The air purification works really well, so the space feels fresh.Anyway, if you’re traveling solo and staying for one or two nights, I highly recommend checking this place out. By the way, the transportation is very convenient.

Just a 5-minute walk from JR Tottori Station’s north exit, this hotel offers convenience alongside warm hospitality, welcoming guests with a complimentary cocktail. The spacious capsule rooms and cozy beds ensure comfort, while the attentive staff and excellent service earn high praise from visitors.

Lovely Hotel very close to Tottori Station and Bus Terminal. The 4th floor female dormitory was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. There was space under the bed for luggage which could be locked as well as additional space near the bed for valuables. The service staff was very kind, especially the older lady. When I needed to move my arrival date further back due to illness, it was done very fast and without issue. Thank you!

This is the best hostel I've ever been for over 10 years!I love this hostel that I can walk in the capsule without bowing down (my height is 157 cm. btw) Share space is huge and cozy, feel like at home. Wi-Fi is everywhere.

I had a great time in the hostel, the whole design and facilities seem to be well designed and well thought of. I wish the mattress would be a little bit more comfortable, but it's fine. Generally speaking it's a capsule hostel, so you cannot expect complete silence, so I don't get some of the negative reviews on here. The staff is absolutely lovely and super helpful, the free welcome cocktail is a nice touch I've never experienced anywhere else. The common area in the ground floor is also very pretty. Last but not least the location directly next to the train station is just perfect. Recommended!

If you are traveling solo then consider staying at Drop Inn hostel. I stayed here for 2 nights and have awesome experience with them. The location is 3 minutes walk to Tottori train/bus station. Close to restaurants and a mall. The bedspace had bigger space which is generous by capsule standard. It has comfy bed, blanket pillow, personal locker, tv. The shared shower and toilet are spotless and well maintained. Bath Towel, shaving razor, toothbrush and earplug are free of charge. The guest lounge is well decorated and love the vibes there. I spend so many hours there for creative tasks. There is welcome drink after 6PM. The staffs are very welcoming and had great experience with them.

Yelp
Decor: 2 This is a capsule hotel. I don't think they call themselves that since they call their "rooms" dormitory beds but they're just like capsules in capsule hotels. They are roomier though. And I like the simple and compact design of each dormitory bed. The cafe downstairs is relaxing and cute. I am not please with the layout of the hotel. While the booking says there is a mixed dormitory option, we are placed on the floor for men. So as a woman, I feel uncomfortable that there are all these men sleeping in beds next door even though my boyfriend is next to me on one side. Also, the bathroom and shower outside this dormitory is for men only. I don't care and use it anyway otherwise women's facilities are up another two flights. They should have mixed gender facilities if this was truly the mixed dormitory floor. Cleanliness: 5 Despite its inefficient layout, I do have to say that at the minimum it's very clean. Service: 3 It's great that the women at the reception spoke a good level of English which made communication easier however one woman I spoke to spoke so softly that I had trouble hearing her. Also, I would say their list of recommendations are a hit or miss. Do not going to Hinomaru Onsen. It's awful. Please check my separate review for that. I think the listing on booking.com was misleading. It has an option to book for 2 people but if you look carefully, it's actually 2 separate rooms. We assumed that when it says "fits 2" that we are booking one space that fits 2 people, and not 2 separate places. That is confusing. For a capsule hotel, I think this is great. If you're looking for a cute inn with a normal room to share with your partner, this is not what you're looking for!!
