We had a great time with Sara our server this Saturday, She was friendly, knowledgeable and we learned some new things. The wines are always delicious, especially the Rose! Thanks you for another fun experience

Google
We had a lovely tasting at Dry Creek. The gardens are beautiful and the staff were super friendly, they shared so many interesting stories about the property and wines. I definitely recommend stopping here, especially on weekdays... It was very quiet and peaceful.

Google
Superb winery with lovely atmosphere, garden and patio. Also a cozy and good indoor seating with high ceiling. Fantastic Zins & Sauv blanc Verdict - most visit and great stop on bike ride/tour

Google
First time visit via scheduled tasting that will be the first of many visits. Josh provided the tasting of many varietals and allowed those in our group to let the wines speak for themselves. In a no-pressure environment, we learned some history about the vineyard and the various factors affecting each the wines they offer. The facility is modern and comfortable and has many gifts for sale. The grounds are perfect for a simple day out (you can bring in your own food, in addition to the standard fare available on site) where you can enjoy a bottle or tastings. If you're looking for a vineyard that's easy to enjoy, with a fine selection of wines, all set in a clean, simple, yet enjoyable environment, Dry Creek should be on the list....

My husband and and went to Dry Creek Vineyard for the first time and we had a blast! They service was great, good charcuterie and amazing wine. Their Zinfandel and Cabernet was outstanding, we had to came back home with some bottles. Sitting in the garden was a such great experience and we want to go back to do the tour, for more learning and sips.

We had a fantastic visit at Dry Creek - elegant Bordeaux flight tasting. Lovely picnic table in their grass garden with an umbrella. We celebrated a birthday and anniversary they very kindly provided a chocolate as a gift. We purchased a glass of additional wine, and a charcuterie board - they cheese, crackers and cured meats selection was wonderful. We booked our reservation about a week ahead of time, though they had various options available. Our host was awesome, she knew their wine selection very well, she guided us through the Vinyard's history, the types of grapes and methods they used to produce the wine, and was very kind & courteous. If you buy a few bottles they also comp the tasting fee, so we took advantage of that offering. Highly recommend visiting Dry Creek - we are seriously thinking of becoming a member soon.

Google
First visit to California ever, and I think I did it just right by starting it out at wine country! The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and makes you feel like you are in a secret garden from a storybook. Paige was our hostess, and our group has a great time with her. She was very knowledgeable, personable, and just really gave us the time to relax and enjoy our wine tasting without feeling rushed. I liked that it was a little bit more secluded, had a relaxed vibe and it wasn’t too fussy. A huge perk was that you were also able to bring your own picnic lunch. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat.

Google
Wine tasting with Family, as always great experience. Host was fantastic. Lots of information about each wine, history and even inside stories. No push to sell anything just ensuring we had a great experience. Can't get this experience at one of the big overpriced corporate wineries. We tasted many great wines in addition to the standard wine tasting. One of our favorite wineries.

Yelp
Paige is the best!!!! Took my visiting niece there today and once again we were lucky to have Paige as our hostess. She is absolutely darling. She's been there for 7 years so has lots of background on the wines and the winery. She is fun funny and engaging and could not have been more perfect. Thanks for a fabulous day yet again.

Yelp
Dry Creek Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc is my jam! It's my go-to summer sipper, and let's be honest, I drink it all year long. I stopped in recently to stock up for Thanksgiving, and had to stroll through their beautiful Insectary Garden. Check it out for yourself to discover all of their biodynamic practices and to learn about their history. The vines are showing off right now with beautiful yellow, orange, and red leaves! How cool that DCV is family owned and has been since 1972?! And I feel it when I visit. The staff are all very warm and welcoming. Fun fact: they were the first winery in the region to plant Sauvignon Blanc after Prohibition! I bought a few of their 2023 Sauvignon Blanc and a few of their DCV3 Sauvignon Blanc. I'd previously purchased some Chenin Blanc too. You may find some of their wines highly distributed (at restaurants and shops galore), but I recommend a visit to not only see their beautiful and expansive outdoor space, as well as their indoor space, but also to try the wines you cannot buy everywhere. Beyond Sauv Blanc and Chenin Blanc, their wines include rosé, chardonnay, pinot noir, and zin. If you haven't been to Dry Creek Vineyard, book a tasting. And be sure to stop at nearby Dry Creek General Store before or after for a delicious sandwich to balance your wine tasting.

Yelp
The wine is 3 stars but service and value is excellent, 4. Outdoor picnic bench seating walk the orchard. Make a reservation. Buy lunch at Dry Creek general store (walking distance). Skip the cabs and Sauvignon blanc. Zinfandels are the winner here.

Yelp
Cool old world vibe with a bit of a nautical theme. Nice site like many other wineries in the area. I think Dry Creek is definitely worth a stop if you are going through the area. They are an institution in the area and are worth a visit.

Yelp
We came to Dry Creek Vineyard by accident. We had a reservation for another vineyard, but due to a fire in Sonoma, they had to cancel on us. Sometimes those unexpected plans turn out to be the best part of your day. Dry Creek was certainly that for us. We were seated right away, placed out tasting selection and a delicious charcuterie board, and preceded to have an amazing couple of hours having wonderful wine. In fact we got a couple of bottles of what it turned out to be one of our favorites of the whole trip. The outdoor seating was wonderful, as well as the weather, even with fires looming. Our tasting expert was very knowledgeable and super nice. I would absolutely recommend Dry Creek vineyards!
google avatar

Lisa J.

Yelp
We had a wonderful tour at Dry Creek Vineyard. Paige was so informative & ensured we had an amazing experience. The grounds were so beautiful and peaceful. We sampled so many great wines and recommend buying a charcuterie board to enhance your experience. This is a must stop in the area and ask for Paige. She had spot on recommendations for other places to go in the area.

Yelp
We stopped by here during a Saturday wine weekend 2 weekends ago and I really enjoyed this winery! We didn't have a reservation and they were busy and the staff still accommodated our party of 8 with a picnic table outside. We ordered 2 bottles which were both very good- a chenin blanc and a Malbec. The staff helping us knew about all the wines and was very helpful. They have a beautiful courtyard outside. The bathrooms were very clean and nice. They also had an inside area with a cute shop. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
We've been wine club members for over 30 years. We've always been impressed with their wine. We scheduled a wine tasting this week and brought a picnic. We also brought our dog! Paige served us and she was amazing! We had a terrific time. You can't beat the wonderful wine, the beautiful grounds and the service.
google avatar

Yelp
This winery was on our go list for our friend's bachelorette get-away. It was very picturesque and we were seated right away (you'll have to have an appointment). Although two of us were pregnant we still got to enjoy the company of our group and smell the selection of wine being offered for the tasting. Our server was very knowledgeable bout the product and our group enjoyed our time on the grounds. Would definitely visit again with my husband after I give birth.
google avatar

Yelp
Dry Creek Vineyard is a more laid back winery with a picnic style tables and chairs. Reasonably priced wine tasting, and they do have several different options you can choose from. They also have a small store with some merchandise inside. Their staff is very knowledgeable and we had fun learning about their wine and history. Dogs are welcome here!
google avatar

MIchelle B.

Yelp
What a memorable winery! Not only are the grounds beautiful, but the wines are delicious. We want to thank Ian for providing excellent service and explaining the wines to us. It is definitely a place to come back to.

Yelp
Visited Dry Creek Vineyard yesterday in Healdsburg, CA. We were drop ins no reservations. We were greeted warmly and ended up doing the seated tasting outside. Page, who guided us through the tasting was amazing. We laughed and enjoyed 6 excellent wines. Of which we bought a few bottles. Page gave us awesome recommendations for lunch and the rest of our day. We left feeling like longtime friends

Yelp
We started the day at a winery down the road - not great experience, but all improved when we made it to dry creek! We were charmed by Paige, she accommodated all of our requests and was incredibly hospitable and funny. This has been chosen as our new go-to! Thank you dry creek and especially Paige - she deserves a raise for her great energy, wine recommendations, and funny conversation

Yelp
Beautiful setting, great wines- my family and I enjoy this place every time we've gone. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We had a wonderful time at Dry Creek Vineyards on our recent trip to Sonoma County. Paige was amazing! We didn't have reservations, but it wasn't very busy (rainy day) and we were warmly welcomed. Paige made the tasting so much fun. It was a perfect wine tasting experience for us--relaxing, laid-back, friendly, and fun!

SoCal. J.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our visit to this winery. The hospitality was outstanding! The property is beautiful and we really enjoyed the wines. It was just a great experience all around!

Yelp
Way too hot and has to stay indoor for the tasting. They are showcasing mostly Zinfandel but you can switch to more whites as it was a hot day. I tried the Zin and they were pretty good. Not usually a fan of Zin unless I'm having heavy Italian. Nevertheless the wine was tasty and balanced. Service was great.

Yelp
We were very pleased with our experience at the Dry Creek Vineyard. After grabbing a delicious sandwich at the Dry Creek General Store we headed to the Vineyard where we found outside tables and very knowledgeable hostess Sara who took the time to explain and answer all of our questions. While I prefer the Sauvignon Blanca my friend wanted to explore the rieslings. No problem. Sara brought us samples of each variety. She did push their wine club which didn't interest us but we had a great tasting, learned a lot and brought home some delicious wines.

MJ M.

Yelp
We visited Dry Creek Vineyard for a tasting. Ridge Holguin, is Tasting Room Lead. He knows his wine and has a depth of knowledge about the business, varieties, and where the grapes are grown. He has a really pleasant nature. I look forward to learning more from him next time.

Yelp
A very good tasting experience with John. He's the man. He was very knowledgeable, outgoing, came from a family of wine lovers. He made our wine experience great here. My fiancé's mom even became a member! We bought about 9 bottles. They have good fume and some white wines- Mariness. We also got their Spencer's Hill, and a western slopes- a Cabernet Sauvignon. Tastings are a very fair price here too $15. And you can check in thru yelp to get additional discount or just become a member. Totally recommend coming here if you are in a Healdsburg.

Yelp
Lovely place with beautiful roses and educational vineyard walk. Great service and good place for picnics.

Yelp
One of my favorite stops for lunch. The staff is always friendly and informative. The wines are great with our favorite being the Endeavor.
google avatar

Ashley V.

Yelp
One of my favorite vineyards in this region! The wines were great and it was such a beautiful setting! Highly recommend this vineyard and the 2018 Beeson Zinfadel
google avatar

Mike C.

Yelp
Stopped in to get a glass of the Beeson Ranch zin which was wonderful. It was a quiet Wednesday afternoon which allowed us to chat with Darren in the tasting room for quite sometime. We had such a good time talking about his trip to Spain, a bonus for us because Spain is a place we were thinking about visiting, that we forgot what other glass of wine we had. Always great when we can taste excellent wines, lose track of time, and know we loved our visit and will definitely be back.

Yelp
In Covid times, getting a full experience with amazing hospitality can be hard. Restaurants have limited menus, everything is outdoors, and great experiences are difficult to come by. Thank goodness for wineries and Dry Creek Vineyards. Dry Creek Vineyards, named after the region, is probably has some of the best Zinfandels that you can possibly try. All augmented with a bit of Cabernet Franc, they're both exceptionally well balanced yet unique and fruit forward enough to have you coming back for more. These are everyday wines that you can have with a meal or sitting down with friends, which honestly are my favorites. The standouts imho happen to be: - Zin: Spencer's Hill Vineyard - Zin: Vogenson Ranch - Cab Sauv: Endeavor Usually when you go to a tasting you end up with one or maybe two standouts. Here, I loved almost everything I tasted. So much so, that I became a member. Let this place be a your jumping off points to other excellent tastings: Unti, Mazzocco to name a few.
google avatar

Eva R.

Yelp
Excellent wines and a beautiful setting. I liked most of the wines I tried here but especially loved the Meritage Benchland and the Spencer's Creek Zin. I'm not much of a zin person but wow this one is so complex and delicious. I've ordered more bottles for myself and for friends and family as well! There's lots of outdoor space so it's easy to socially distance. Definitely would come back again!
google avatar

Yelp
Wifey & I, came to the Bay Area to visit my daughter, she likes wine and I'm mainly a beer and scotch kind of person. I swore off wine years ago when I tasted some really bad wine. Well this place is very nice and the wine itself has converted me into a wine drinker now. So much so that we left with 5 bottles of wine that we had to ask our daughter for extra luggage to take back home to SoCal. Lovely place for wine and snacks (which I hear you can bring while you do the wine tasting) it's my first and I was really impressed we will definitely be going back, soon...

Yelp
[Out-of-Towner Review] Tastings with a side of garden delight! Our friends brought us here, because they are members. They told us they loved it, but it wasn't until we actually experienced it ourselves, did we understand why. To be completely honest, we didn't even go inside and check out the indoor tasting area -- even though our friends told us twice to go and do it. We were so serenely content with the outdoor tasting and customer service, that we never even took the time. A huge PRO TIP to this spot, is to grab food at the store at the four way stop before you get to DCV. The food is way overpriced, BUT it is really, really good! Back to our arrival, the parking is a little limited, but you just have to keep looking for more spots. Also, they offer charging stations for all you fancy folks out there! Once we grabbed our late lunch and snacks, we walked through the walk way toward a garden area. A huge lush green grass area with at least ten or so different picnic tables with umbrellas for shade. You cannot forget the corn hole game in the corner too. Nestled in the farthest corner, closest to to the actual tasting room, was an outdoor bar set-up for tastings with about six or so patio bar stools (with backs, which is key). Robert was already back there helping two guests, when we sauntered up. Robert is insanely knowledgeable about EVERYTHING about this vineyard, the wines, and the history of the family. He was a real pleasure to speak with and learn from. He was engaging and made the tasting enjoyable with history, humor, and his throwback sports convo. They are celebrating their 45th anniversary this year and the tasting menu had one specific varietal that was made specifically for this years celebration. They also hung up the original signage from the vineyard in the garden area. We all really enjoyed it and thought it was a perfect fit, Robert wasn't sold on leaving it there forever ;) The different tastings were all tasty, whites to reds. Luckily for us, since our friends were members our tastings were comp'd. However, they are reasonably priced tastings for the area. All the good wines of the area, but missing the Napa tasting fees. At the outside bar they also serve bottles by the glass, about one option for each type of varietal they serve, all within a great price range. Don't think they won't go inside and get you something too, which they will -- they are super friendly and helpful! After we tasted and grabbed some wine for our lunch we spent the next hour or so just enjoying the surroundings. We noticed the staff closing up, but they never once asked us to leave or were rude at all. I really appreciated it, but we got the hint and packed up our stuff. Everything about DCV is exactly what a laid back wine taster is looking for - non pretentious, good wines, and great service, all at a decent price. DCV keep doing what you do, cause it's working!

Yelp
Being here feels like you're home. Their tasting area is a great backyard feel, with upscale vibes. Ridge was our server and he nailed it. He was extremely knowledgeable and also made it a fun experience. Will go back in a heartbeat!

Lindsay P.

Yelp
Really nice ambiance - our tasting was in the barrel room. Our tasting was great - we learned a bit about the wine, which is always helpful. We took a few bottles back as well - one of the Zins and White Blend. We are hoping to come back on a sunnier day, but they couldn't have been more warm, despite the cold and rain!
google avatar

Yelp
Best in California. They are really doing something right. Not pushy sales people like the majority of Napa. The actually allow you to enjoy the experience. Which makes us happy and value our membership! And purchases

Yelp
Here we go! First time stopping in at Dry Creek Vineyards. I've been buying their Zinfandel from my local grocery stores and Total Wine for years and finally ventured to the tasting room! First off, the grounds here are beautiful! And!! If you're looking for an area with lots of wineries to explore.. Dry Creek Road (the road this winery is on) has TONS of wineries! This place is very Zinfandel heavy, but they have some other interesting wines to provide a nice change of pace, such as Barbera and Petite Verdot. Not to say the zins aren't interesting in their own right.. The wide variety of the zins is something to behold. White wines here were decent. Nothing truly leaving an impression, but to tell you the truth.. I figured that'd be the case. It's like going to Chandon in Napa and ordering the still wine flight (which I've done and may be the BIGGEST regret of my life) knowing perfectly well that they're only known for sparkling wines. Dry Creek Vineyard lived up to the vision in my mind and I cannot wait to go back! Tasting fee was $15, which is quite the deal for the Sonoma area. Overall if you're a white wine fan, I suggest you keep driving, but if your a red wine fan... FANTASTIC and BEAUTIFUL place for something big, bold and spicy! Give it a go!

U T.

Yelp
Visited here during Memorial Day weekend for our wedding anniversary celebration. Nick Chase was our host and he was just great. He served some amazing Zins , cab blends, zin rose that were off the tasting list. Had a great time! Thank you Nick for being such a wonderful host to make our day quite memorable.

Yelp
This is one of the wineries we checked out in Healdsburg this past weekend (collectively our group's first time to the Dry Creek Valley) and probably was our favorite based on experience. Upon entering we noticed there was a spacious picnic area with large tables and corn hole boards. We decided the game plan at this point would be to buy whole bottles instead of doing tastings so we could leisurely spend our late afternoon (we had already been to 2 wineries prior to coming here) while duking it out in a few corn hole games. Probably also the more economic way to go since we had 4 people but tbh the tasting price wasn't bad. The staff was very friendly and allowed us to have a small taste of 3 wines before we decided on the Sauvignon Blanc, and later on the 2nd bottle we went for the Chardonnay. The wine was reasonably priced and although not top notch they were still quite delightful and thoroughly consumed. We ended up closing the place down. What a perfect way to spend a couple hours in this area!

Yelp
If you're looking for a fabulous place to wine taste, look no further! We had a terrible experience at a nearby winery so we left it early. We couldn't call this place in advance because nobody had cell service so we drove and luckily found it. We were a group celebrating a birthday. We walked up and Ian greeted us so nicely and even though they were full he sat us inside at a table by their wine bar (hallelujah because it was so hot out and the AC felt soooo good!). Ian and the rest of the staff quickly got us our tasting and we ended up buying some bottles because their wine is phenomenal. I'm looking forward to going back and sitting at one of the wooden picnic benches outside in the grass because it's beautiful out there as well. Parking is super close and easy. Make sure to make advance reservations.
google avatar

Yelp
Wonderful staff great wines at a budget price. Highly recommend a visit here and a couple bottles to go.
google avatar

Tiffany D.

Yelp
The winning point is that they tossed in a complimentary wine bottle after our flight tasting! What a grand, unexpected service and extra tips to the wine pourer! We selected the signature series and it was 4 wines to choose from on the list, for a mere 5 bucks! Totally agreeable! I really liked the Merlot at the end of the wine tasting! It was a nice finishing touch. It left a dry appeal to the palate and it was fitful to the name of this vineyard. It was a pleasant time spent here and surely made our mouths dry! Next stop was for food and to quench our thirst!

Emily W.

Yelp
I was impressed by Dry Creek Vineyard since my first phone call with Bernie. He was very helpful over the phone and made sure to answer all of my questions. I was excited to book a seated tasting with my boyfriend. From the moment we got there, it felt magical and perfect. Bernie greeted us shortly after and helped us with our seated tasting. He was very knowledgeable, engaging, and made sure to go into thorough detail of each wine. Experiences like this make it worthwhile to visit wineries! Having worked in the wine industry before, it was a delight to visit this winery and we will definitely be recommending it to our family and friends. Just make sure to request Bernie if you can!

Norwich Lover V.

Yelp
ask for Paige! we are members and she is high energy, has great sense of humor and knows the wines. we had so much fun! we visited with our small pups and everyone was so sweet and we sat outside. go to Dry Creek and sit outside before it starts to rain! Paige will gauge if you are talkers or of you want a quiet experience. anyway, any of the host/hostess will be fabulous. cheers!

madis p.

Yelp
A very cool place for a wine tasting. You can walk to the country store and have a great sandwich. The wine is great. I won't say the other winery we went to that we only bought wine that was twice as expensive as Dry Creek. WE bought two cases of dry creek wine.
google avatar

Mrs. K.

Yelp
Great wine and experience! Thank you to KP for a great visit!! From first entering the grounds are beautiful, especially the picnic area. Their label and inside tasting room are cute with their nautical theme. There's cornhole, bocce, and a tasting bar outside. The wines were a hit with our group who all like different varietals. Easy to get to in Dry Creek and close to the General Store. Will definitely be back! Go here! You won't be disappointed.
google avatar

alix b.

Yelp
I love the wine here. I've tasted at Dry Creek twice and I'd taste here again but only with people who are really about the wine and not so much the experience if you know what I mean. The wines are top notch but the grounds are pretty basic and boring I'm sorry to say. It's a great stop for good wine but this isn't a place you will see or experience anything unique like some of the other places in the area.
google avatar

Phil B.

Yelp
This was a delightful experience. Spent plenty of time to taste a half dozen wines. The host was knowledgeable and friendly with no pressure ot buy. We had been to most other wienries in the area, but have been a long customer of Dry Creek wines and finally got to visit. What we like a lot about Dry Creek are the modest prices and quality products. The tasting room is pleasant and there's an area outside to enjoy your own luch or a glass of wine. The winery does not serve food, but has a refrigerated area for cheese that they sell.

Theresa W.

Yelp
Out of 6 wineries, this was one of the favorites where we loved the wine enough to join the club. Jack and Karen were both welcoming and enthusiastic, both extremely knowledgeable. Finally found a Sauvignon blanc that both my husband and I loved and their Meritage Alluvial Gap knocked my socks off. Beautiful views, outdoor setting. We were there early so did not experience live music or bocce but a perfect afternoon for our group. A nice change from tasting rooms.
google avatar

Yelp
Dry Creek Vineyard offered our family and friends a delightful time. Darrin was our host. He did a wonderful job of pouring great wines. We received our wine shipment within days. We will never miss this winery on future visits. Thank you Darren.
google avatar

Jackie W.

Yelp
Great service! Their Zinfandel was good and they have many varieties. We really like the petit Syrah which we walked away with a bottle! The wine tasting was $15 and complimentary if you buy a bottle!

Yelp
Had a fantastic experience today at Dry Creek. Sam was our server extraordinaire and was lovely. She is extremely knowledgeable about wine yet not pretentious- very down to earth which is most appreciated. Wonderful whites here- especially the Sauvignon. I love their Pinot! So many nice spots outside to enjoy your wine. Looking forward to my next visit to Dry Creek.

Nicole S.

Yelp
We love dry creek and their wines. We are members and stop by whenever we are in the area. The servers are very knowledgeable, and they always take the opportunity to explain the wines and answer our questions. The grounds are beautiful, and there is a big grassy area for kids and dogs to play in. You can also sit outside and taste at the picnic tables while eating lunch. They don't have food onsite, but you can bring anything you want with you.
