"Pizza and Cocktails from a Two-Michelin-Star Chef at Dry in Milan Half the fun of going to Dry, a late-night bar and pizza joint in the buzzy neighborhood of Moscova, is the democratically cool crowd: young artists, gray-mustachioed men, and members of the fashion illuminati. The other half is the cocktail menu (good news for lovers of whiskey) and bubbly pizza pies from the two-Michelin-star chef. This appeared in the May 2015 issue."

6 Classic Italian Cocktails to Try—Plus Recipes - AFAR

"A Milan cocktail bar that pairs pizza with an inventive drinks program; it’s suggested as the place to try the Brooklyn Reloaded, an Italian-ingredient-forward riff featuring Amaro Lucano, Luxardo maraschino, Cocchi Americano Bianco and Bulleit rye, often garnished with a caramelized orange slice." - Lyndsey Matthews, Ashley Goldsmith

Funky and chic pizzeria with a dark atmosphere and loud music. We opted to sit outside rather than inside but the restaurant was buzzy and lively with pizza and cocktails. It’s provides a unique spin on different flavours of pizza and cocktails to accompany them, as well as a few traditional favourites. A fun spot for those wanting to branch out and try something a little different.

Wow! Just wow! Had like some of the best pizzas I have had ever - every pizza we ordered was fantastic and let’s not forget the cocktails, so good! Special shoutout to the bartender - she was an absolute star, as was everyone else on the service team - stellar place!

The food and the restaurant was fine. Nothing special. The cocktail Tamaloma was tasty but the presentation was plain for the price and the ingredients it had. The pizza was fine but nothing to die for. To be so high ranked in Italy I was expecting something more breathtaking maybe I went "too traditional" with a Margherita and extra ham but as they say, a Good Margherita is always a good indicator that the pizzeria is great. The Drymisu had an interesting twist to the original dessert, however I would have enjoyed that the cube was more tender/moist. The atmosphere and the service could have been better, I dont know if having dinner early influenced the experience but the service felt disconnected and not really making the experience better. The longue type music kinda fit with the place but imo made it a bit bland and generic. All in all, not a bad experience but maybe my expectations from the articles I read were too high, hence the small disappointment.

Great place to have a glass, enjoy a great pizza and friendly staff. Named among the world's best pizzerias for good reason!

Front of house staff were super friendly and accommodating. Waiting staff were ok. Food was served efficiently and it was delicious. Cocktails were great too. Would highly recommend.

Google
Our favorite pizza in Milano. Amazing cocktails. You have to also try the ciabattas. Attentive and skilled but fun staff. Perfect place for good food, good cocktails, amazing staff and unmatched environment.

My wife and I went out for a wonderful evening in an authentic Italian atmosphere. The welcome was quick and good and they immediately recognized the order we made in advance. When we arrived it became clear that a reservation in advance was important, because this bar-restaurant provides a fun and enjoyable atmosphere and the demand for a table here is high and this is also the proof that the restaurant is good and in demand. It is possible to arrive without a reservation, but you may not be accepted or, if you are lucky, they may accept you after waiting. When we entered, we could choose between two separate but equally nice places inside the restaurant. One, a bar area with a young and pleasant atmosphere and if you sit at the bar you are also exposed to the preparation of the cocktails. The second, is internal and more in the relaxed atmosphere of an Italian restaurant and more relaxed and especially suitable for families. The heart of the whole menu is undoubtedly the pizza. Each pizza is more special and delicious than the other, and even if you "took a risk" and you don't like something, the excellent staff will make sure to replace it for you. The main thing is to keep the atmosphere as good as possible and that nothing spoils your enjoyment, the authentic "simple" margherita pizza ended up being the winning choice, but it's still worth trying at least a few types. Regarding the cocktails, order and let the staff also recommend you, they know their job, it's delicious, it's accurate and it will improve your experience. Beyond the culinary excellence, it is worth noting to praise the attentive and professional staff. Summary of the experience, a young and fun Italian restaurant that we returned to for the second time and each time the atmosphere, the flavors and the fun only get better. Our return visit confirmed the continued excellence. Recommended for anyone visiting the area. By the way, one of the leading restaurants in chef pizzas. Have fun

The food was absolutely amazing, and our waiter Carlos made the experience even better. He was incredibly friendly and gave us the best recommendations.

Yelp
Absolutely awesome dinner at Dry. This Michelin chef knew a good thing when he decided to start up this place some years ago Inventive cocktails - I had a pumpkin mule while the Mr had something with coffee yogurt and Mozzarella syrup! Both were amazing. We could not choose a favorite Started with polenta with truffle & that pic doesn't lie. There was a mountain of fresh truffle on the creamy rich polenta Then transitioned over to the pizzas.... Pumpkin, Gorgonzola and mushrooms for me. The pumpkin replaced the typical white or red sauce and was just the right amount of flavor to complement the toppings Mr chose the 4 cheese and chestnuts and he was totally digging the smoked provelone Both winners & an all around fantastic meal

Yelp
Ambiance - 4 Service - 4 Food - 4 Drinks - 4 We went to the on Viale Vittorio Veneto, 28, 20124 Milano MI, Italy which is not listed on Yelp. Overall very good spot to enjoy Milanese pizza. Trendy, hip music, weird video through projection, large loft open space. Drinks - we had the French 75 and Penicillin both tasty but honestly not sure how other can pair it with pizza, so we ordered a nice glass of red. Food - We had the margarita with proscuitto on the side and broccoli pizza both fantastic.

Yelp
This neighbourhood bar/restaurant was just down the street from me so it was a typical place to stop in the early evening for a drink and some decent appetizers. Really fun vibe, easy to meet people. Recommended for anyone who is looking to connect with local Milanese and have a great time.

Yelp
We showed up at 7:30 and were able to get a seat in the bar area. By 8pm, the place was packed! The drinks were excellent, the bartender even made something new for me which tasted amazing. The bufala pizza was good too.

Yelp
Great cocktails and food! My three starts is for service as most of the Italian restaurants the service is slow, even if you want to consume by the time they check on you again you been in the restaurant at least one hour and this is just unacceptable.

Yelp
Awesome place. Great atmosphere. We sat in the window and ordered some cocktails. They brought out some delicious chips and olives. The place is very hip and seems like a hot spot in the area. We ordered 2 of the specialty cocktails and they were great. If you are in rome i would highly suggest coming for a drink. We also ordered the 3 spreads, guacamole and goat cheese dip was delicious. Do yourself a favor and come here.

Yelp
We came here on a Friday night and unfortunately, the only reservation available was at 10.15pm so we went for it. The restaurant was busy with a crowd at the cocktail bar and atmosphere was amazing. We ordered the Focaccia with creamy mozzarella and prosciutto as a starter and two pizzas -- Asparagi Verdi and the classic Margherita con Bufala. I prefer pizzas with fluffy crust so this place really hits the spot! Focaccia is light and airy, the mozzarella was creamy, goes well with the saltiness from the prosciutto. Half or full portion available, but would highly suggest the full! We really enjoyed the Asparagi Verdi, the fontina cheese brings the flavour out and a really interesting combination with the quail eggs. Service was slightly on the slow side but would recommend this place!

Yelp
(4) ~ very good overall drinks, food, & service. Very cool vibe that attracts both locals & travelers. DRINKS: ** Water(free) = (4) very good ** Sidecar(cocktail) = (4) very good ** Espresso Doppio(double) = (4) very good FOOD: ** Margherita Pizza = (4) very good and you'll need a knife & fork to eat it;). The crust & sauce we're my favorite parts. ** Gelato(caramel & sea salt) = (4) very good and gelato is much creamier/softer than American ice cream;)

Yelp
The food was good, but not a great selection. The salads came on pizza crust (not bad, just wasn't expected), but still good. I would have given more stars except the waiter forgot our drinks (we had to go in 30 minutes later to ask for them), and they sat us in the direct sun on a hot day even though there were tables under an umbrella. All in all it was good.

Yelp
This is a pizza/small plates lounge. The Food was good and the service even better. We had a 21:00 reservation and we were seated very promptly. Such a vibrant place and all of the patrons seemed to be enjoying themselves, thoroughly. The Manager personally greeted us and made us feel right @ home. I cannot thank him enough but I will try to thank right here and right now, in the public arena. Thank you Roberto and Next time I buy you a drink! Everything about the experience and the energy of this lounge makes me wish to return. And make no mistake about it, I shall return. Good Vibrations! Excellent Service!

Yelp
Went to this place based on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. The pizza here is in a class of its own. I had the pizza with cured lard, basil, and grana padano cheese, which was an interesting but incredibly delicious combo. My husband also enjoyed his Margherita pizza with prosciutto. We also enjoyed several cocktails each. I would honestly go back just for the cocktails. Beautifully presented and equally delicious. What a great find.

Yelp
We shared two pizzas and a salad. I really enjoyed the salad -- the one with lettuce, apple, hazelnut paste and ricotto and both pizzas, especially the one with pancetta. We arrived a little before 19:00 and the restaurant was closed, so we were super impressed when the roller doors opened at 19:00 on the dot! The complimentary olives we almost inhaled were really good, as was the service. The music was a little loud...or maybe we are just getting old!

Yelp
The best place in Milan for drinks! The design of the bar is glamour and people too! The staff and service are excellent!

Yelp
Delicious food. Great cocktails. Love the pizza and Moscow mule. Trendy hip spot with relaxing lounge music. Great spot to catch up with friends.

Yelp
Dry was everything I could've asked for and more! I somehow had yet to have good food in Milan and decided to YOLO at 11pm and head to Dry on a Sunday night. The music is incredible--basically house music--and the restaurant is packed with people. It's the Neapolitan style pizza I've been craving and the drinks are pricey, but great. The bartenders do some tricks too. Definitely come here if you're a foodie and love a great vibe.

Yelp
Came on Friday at 7:30 and despite making reservations at the wrong location, we were able to find seats at the bar. Had a wonderful experience! Cocktails were great, cubotti appetizer blew our minds (that goat cheese... mmmmm) and we had a delicious broccoli pizza before finishing with white chocolate and salted caramel gelato. It's got a fun vibe, it feels hip and we were some of the few tourists, but our server was really friendly and made us feel welcome. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Very good cocktails, welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff & good quality nibbles made our impromptu stop here one of the accidental highlights of our long weekend in the city.

Yelp
Some of the best Neapolitan style pizza I've had outside of Naples! Beats even the best NYC pizza too. Cocktails were decent but the pizza should be emphasized more because it's the main attraction.

Yelp
These guys got their act together. A very convivial atmosphere paired with great cocktails and of course a good wine selection. The highlight are the incredible focaccia with all sort of delicious toppings. The music is always on point and the crowd trendy. It is one of my top hangouts for casual weekly dinners when in Milan.

Yelp
Reminds me of a place in the east village... The pros: well made cocktails, delicious focaccia and pizza (better than average but not the best in Italy so it's relative). I tried the Ramos Fizz (frothy dry drink), Superstition (herbal mix of cocktails - very dry with an interesting 5-spice like taste), and Blood and Sand (whisky with bitters kind of drink). I liked the last the most but I found them all kind of light (3 and still sorta sober). I guess my only real complaint is that service is super super slow but typical of Italy. Great atmosphere for early to late drinks for grown-ups. Not for spring break party fans but more restaurant then a lounge which was perfect for us as we were hungry at midnight.

Yelp
I have to confess... I'm not a pizza lover, I mean, I eat it if I have to (especially for a quick lunch break) but I prefer a hearty dish of pasta over a pizza anytime. However, Dry's pizza might be one of those rare exceptions. The place is nice, the style is that kind of fake-effortless decor (some design pieces here and there), a nice bar and good seating space in the back. Staff is nicer than average (note that in Milan this doesn't necessarily mean they are nice). Atmosphere is cool, relaxed, be ready for the occasional model walking in. The cocktails are very good, perfect if it only were for the taste, unfortunately the tiny jars or glasses they're served in take away half a star. (My favorite was the Dry Bloody, served in a cute jar). Pizzas are delicious, crispy at the right point, good quality ingredients, too bad we have the same problem of the drinks... people, in these cases size does matter! I'm not asking for a giant pizza but at least a normal size, doesn't matter that you try to keep prices lower, I'd gladly pay a couple of bucks more for a bigger pizza. Summing up, nice place, delicious pizzas and cocktails, prices average (pizzas are between 7 and 10 euro + extra ingredients) but portions on the small side, either don't come very hungry or be ready to order 2 pizzas (you'll surely enjoy them, anyhow).

Matthew C.

Yelp
I would say this place was average at best for food but presentation and atmosphere was nice. In fairness we did not try a cocktail and they looked great and had awesome presentation. The pizza was subpar for sure. That said the salad was tasty and refreshing. If you are craving just pizza I would say try somewhere else, but if you want a good vibe and fun cocktails this place is definitely worth checking out.

Yelp
My wife and I came for drinks. They cocktails are very good, and it is a fun atmosphere. Great place to relax, chat, people watch, and enjoy the evening.

Yelp
I had some really excellent pizza here. There is a great vibe, and great food! Be sure to make a reservation or be ready to wait a while since its very popular

Yelp
Being from NYC and being a huge fan of well crafted cocktails... I'm in love. Went with a couple friends for a quasi business aperitivo and the bar area was relatively full. The two guys had Brahn(sp?) a bitter cocktail. If you enjoy a stronger more sophisticated spritz this would be good choice. They ordered a second round. I had a Messico, so good! It was tequila, agave syrup, sweet red pepper and Szechuan pepper. Then a Bramble- gin, blackberry, lemon and sugar. Super good too. We had some small apps from the bar menu, all were also good. Good: The decor, the lighting, the music (mix of alternative, italian hip hop, and light dub) the cocktails, the friendly staff, the diverse crowd (I was told there was a designer for an important italian accessories brand, a famous italian singer etc but I don't really care since I'm American) but really the mix of people was nice to see, the food. Bad: The service was a bit slow and the bar seating is not particularly comfortable.
