DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse

I visit this specific DSW at KOP, because they’re renown for having extremely hard to find footwear, not to mention footwear that is out of stock at every other DSW except theirs. I don’t know how they do it, but for years, they have the stuff that the Metropark DSW or others simply don’t have. Add to this, that their store manager and customer service is always happy to assist or honor their online prices, this is the DSW experience that they advertise. And no, I’m not a DSW employee, nor ever have been. However, I can see why DSW employees choose to work for DSW.

Call first if you're looking for specific shoes. Site said they had the wheat 6 inch timbs. Had everything but that.

I recently purchased these shoes. They are very comfortable. Actually some of the most comfortable I've had before. I hope to go back and get more shoes.

Thursday July 13th. Customer service is horrific at the DSW store in King of Prussia Mall. Obviously, with so many horrible reviews, DSW does not care about the quality and service at their King of Prussia Mall store. I witnessed first hand why this location shows a lack of staff. The manager lacks management skills, customer service skills and she is not approachable. Her demeanor is Abrasive and not welcoming. I felt like I was bothering her when I had a question. Not to mention, she, the manager, has one employee at register with a Long line to check out at register. Two returns by two friends at checkout. Manager walked up to override the transaction. She sees the long line with her one sales person at cash register, she looked at the long line of customers waiting to be checked out and walked away. Never opened the second register to help her cashier. The cashier could not believe his own manager did not jump in and help. I will not return to your store in King of Prussia mall. After waiting in line for over 30 minutes, I left my shoes at counter and walked out the door. The two women with the returns commented that they could not believe the manager walked up to the cash register, looked at the line and walked away not to return. Please replace this manager. This woman is not management material nor is she a people person. She has absolutely no customer service or people skills. She is rude and not approachable. Very Poor Management, but very obvious as to why, with so many horrible reviews, she is still employed Never coming back to this store

This location has amazing selection but it’s at the cost of your self respect I honestly wish they would just switch to self checkout if the associates are going to be so incredibly rude. Also I understand these new plastic bag laws but there was not even an option to purchase a bag I just had to carry around two big boxes of shoes like a thief. They send you endless coupons but when you try to use them the associates get even meaner. Shop online or go to the many other stores in this mall that sell shoes

Customer service is at an all time low at this location. I ordered online to pickup 2 pairs of the same shoe in different colors. I received 1 notification that 1 show was ready for pickup. I went in and the girl barely acknowledged me, didn’t verify anything with me. The email receipt for that pickup was the wrong shoe- not what I picked up. I called customer service who said my other shoe is at the store but they never marked it as received for me to pick up. That was weeks ago. Still missing my second shoe. Called the store twice and was passed around to multiple people with the I can’t help you attitude. I still have no answers as to where my missing shoes are. Never going back to this location for anything.

This store is the worse DSW I've ever been into. The employees are making no efforts to straighten up or help customers. There is stuff everywhere, and mismatched shoes in boxes (different sizes, colors, styles). Save yourself a trip, and find a different DSW where you might be able to buy a pair of shoes.

I came here looking for some shoes and boots to try on, as I have hard time trying to find wide width in my area. Nice selection of shoes and good prices, however unfriendly customer service. I tried on a lot of boots and shoes there, and I was getting an unfriendly look from one of the store associates. She was the one who rang me up too, and she was super unfriendly. She shouldn’t be working in customer service if she clearly doesn’t a thing for people. Probably wouldn’t go back to this location again based on this.

[826] This DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse is located in the King of Prussia mall. There is parking outside of this store so it helps that it's not a hike to shop here. This location is huge and has a large section of items to choose from. Tons for everyone and plenty of sizes. The clearance section is also large with tons of items to pick from. Prices are great. I'll definitely be back.

I was shopping for the person who can't go to the store for health reason. I was bringing him shoes and return if they didn't fit. Yes I was buying a lot. Last time my purchase was rejected for return. Cashier gave me slip with a number to call. I called ,but they k ow nothing. They repeat what was written on the paper I asked fir the manager but of course, he was not available. And he never called me back. I comminicated with customer services of DSW and after long emails with promisses to help,i was ty old that they are servicing purchases made on line. So im off $70 I will be able to start returning in 6 mo. Lol

Service is horrible, received 2 emails telling me that my shoes were shipped to the store. It took over 30 minutes to confirm that my shoes were not at the store. To top it off, you can't cancel your order, you have to wait until the shoes show up at the store so you can 'return' them

My order was not picked up at the warehouse . It took 8 requests from myself that DSW canceled my order and give my money back. Took Over 3 weeks to get my money back and my request to speak to a supervisor has been refused. I will NEVER shop your store again. WORST customer service ever!!!!

My only pair of sandals broke so I went on line to buy a pair, waited 7 days called to find what's going on as I had NO shoes to put on my feet!!! Since the calls get directed to India a communication problem occurred & was told they were over night me the pair & by 3 pm the next day I should have them!!! NOPE!!! I called yet again they advised me Fed-Ex lost them!! Going on 3 weeks STILL NO SANDALS!!! The customer Service SUCKED & u lost my business after 3 years of buying my sandals ONLY with u guys!!!! FINISHED with this scam of a place!!!! Try treating customers better, STOP sending work to other Countries maybe we'd have the items!!!!

Really disappointed with the service I received from this DSW location today. Overall the store is large and there are many price points, styles, and associates to assist you.... But I was looking for a specific pair of shoes. I knew the brand name, the model name and could describe the shoe. Three (3!) associates could not point me in the direction of the shoe, no one offered to look up the model to see if it was available, and all of them abandoned me mid search. About 10 minutes later I located the shoes on my own. Correct me if I'm wrong but given this information shouldn't at least one employee know the layout of the store?

I ordered sneakers, paid full price and received USED SNEAKERS !! No one even looked in the box to see what they were sending! No tissue paper in the box just DIRTY SNEAKERS. And after waiting 2 days from their response, they say , just return them !!! Horrible customer service!!!!

I want to thank Miss Bernadette. She made my return quick and easy. She was positive and upbeat. I will definitely shop here again!

She is the sweetest, friendliest, and most helpful sales associate. Here's why: I stopped by DSW in KOP on Friday (22Jan2016) - yes, on the first day of Snowmageddon in Philly. I had to pick up a pair of snow boots - yes, I was late in doing so and should've planned for it better. During my visit, Kathy stopped me to ask me if I needed any help (I'm sure she noticed I needed it as I was carrying my 23lb son on one arm and a pair of shoes and my purse on the other). She asked and listened to what I needed and found me just that - and delivered it at 50% off + an additional 20% off!!! (I only paid $23 for my snow boots!) She saw that there were several people in line and didn't want to delay me and risk getting caught up in the snow (it started snowing right at 7pm that night), so she took care of my transaction herself (never even had to wait at a register!) and helped me out the door with all of my things. Absolute sweetheart! Again, another example of exceptional customer service. Thank you, Kathy!

I shopped at this DSW for the first time in a very long time the other day and I was impressed by their quality and quantity of their inventory. As always, the men's clearance was much smaller than the women's. I wound up buying a pair of leather boat shoes and utilized a $20 off $49 coupon to get a great deal.

This DSW is located in a fancy mall and boy do they want you to recognize. I went in here thinking it would be just like the brightly-lit, sterile shoe warehouse I'm used to digging for deals in. This one is swanky with brick walls and mood lighting. There are these gigantic metal chandeliers hanging above with these large shoes charms. I had to walk back outside to check the sign to make sure I was in a DSW. I have tunnel vision for the clearance rack when I shop and especially at DSW. Usually I head straight for the back for the rack but they were not to be found here. I turned to my right and there was a clearance area in small room that was behind the brick wall and the entryways had drapes over them. I felt like a dirty old man in a video store going to the adult video section. They mind as well put in corral doors to complete the effect. Shame on this DSW for making bargain hunters feel shameful. Haven't they heard that shopping the sale section is recession chic?

Shoes upon shoes upon shoes! I haven't been to other DSW locations, but this one seems top-notch. I like the fact that it doesn't seem like you're digging through piles in a bargain warehouse. Plus the service is always very helpful and pleasant. The shoes are arranged neatly by style, spanning dress heels, work pumps, sandals, flats, boots, sneakers, men's and more. There's a great selection to choose from and I can almost always find my size (7.5) in what I want. Prices for the most part are fairly cheaper than you find elsewhere; I just got a pair of super cute and super comfy Frye sandals that are normally $188 for $89, not on clearance. Sales staff are available to assist without being pushy, and the checkout girl on my last visit was particularly cheerful and nice. I walked out with a smile on my face and a great pair of shoes in hand.

This is SHOE-TOPIA here! It's IMPOSSIBLE not to find something you like in this store. The only problem you may have is finding your size... this is a pretty popular location. They have more of a variety than the stores in Ardmore and Springfield locations. The only problem... because they DO sell shoes that other locations don't...you can't really rely on the other locations to carry the same shoes if you can't find your size HERE. (That sucks!!)

Huge, huge selection of shoes, sandals, slippers, whatever you need to walk in for affordable prices. Service is decently friendly, and they're quick to ask if you need any help with anything. Crowds can be overwhelming, but that's the price you pay for shopping at the teenager-mobbed KoP. My only gripe is that I wish they would carry more shoes in size 5 -- sucks to have to come in and spot a pair of shoes that you really really like that cannot be found in your size, then find them online hours later. Help a small-footed girl out, why don'tcha?

i have found some cute things here, some even on sale prices which was wonderful! i love my candles and my Micheal Kors cute flats. The regular shoes are overpriced but the sales sometimes is a hit or miss

It was ok... Totally changed my perception of DSW though. I thought DSW was a place for cheap shoes (and unfortunately not necessarily good deals, just cheap shoes at cheap prices). Anyway, I was shocked to see real designer brands like Vera Wang, BCBG, and lots of Steve Madden. Honestly, the prices weren't much lower from department stores (for high end stuff), but there are so many choices, it kind of saves you the time of looking at store to store. Lots of variety.

Definitely a DSW fan. Shop around though... look in the clearance section first, you can find some great deals! They have a HUGE selection of quality shoes- from sneakers to boots, flats, dress shoes... love it!

Tina was wonderful. This is not often a location I visit as I'm from out of town. The assistance and friendliness of the employees was much appreciated.

I love DSW and this location in particular. However, during a recent visit one of the cashiers was somewhat rude when I declined to give my information. She quickly rattled off info about how I could save money. She then asked for my name and email without telling me exactly why. I asked if I had to give this information if I am not setting up an account, and she said "you can get $__ off, etc" - to which I said "no thank you." She seemed annoyed with my response. After she finished ringing me up, I said thank you and she was very dismissive, she replied "mhmm." I have never seen a cashier at any store respond this way. Left me with a bad taste. I love this store and I will continue to shop there, but this was not a great experience.

This is definitely the best DSW location I have been to. It is HUGE, spacious, and very well-organized. I think it is the best for high heels and handbags, although they have lots of every type of shoe (boots, athletic shoes, flats, sandals, etc.). Every time I have been here the staff has been very friendly and helpful. I am always happy with purchases made here.

Shoe shoping at it's finest at DSW! This is a have a great selection of boots, shoes, sandals and evening shoes. I can't leave this place without at least two pairs. They have a very friendly staff and make you feel welcomed. Trying on shoes here is a breeze because they tend to always have a wide selection of sizes.

If dsw sells it... They have it here. Lots of luxe brands, shoes and purses. They have an outdoor entry, next to Morton's, to avoid wall a country mile through the mall.

Update to my previous negative review. I had sent a message through DSW's web site describing the incident of the King of Prussia store not honoring a coupon after my purchase with everything valid. DSW's district manager called me with an apology, telling me that I was right, the store clerk was wrong, and they wished to make things right by honoring the coupon. I gave my bank details, and although I had to chase up once, the credit for the coupon finally did appear in my account. Kudos to DSW for doing the right thing, and for future reference, please, DSW, ensure your store staff receive adequate customer service training.

Hello, I am a premiere member of DSW and buy shoes very often in the store. I was in the King Of Prussia DSW and had a very awful experience.We were there on September 18th at 2:15 pm. We were buying three pairs of shoes in two different transactions. My daughter was buying a pair and using a $10 reward that we earned from previous purchases. While I was buying two other pairs of shoes using my September birthday certificate. Jazzman didn't know how to use the $10 birthday certificate. Than Christina who my daughter went to said it couldn't be used due to my daughter using the other reward. The male manager came over and was very disrespectful and rude. He agreed the two certificates were different, but continued to give us a hard time about using the birthday certificate. After several minutes of arguing he finally put the code in. After he did the other workers began talking rudely about us in front of us and the other costumers. I have never felt so disrespected in a store, as someone who frequently shops in DSW stores and has always had a positive experience I don't plan on visiting the King of Prussia DSW again.
