This road trip through Vietnam's remote far north is just what every traveller needs - SilverKris

"Housed in a solid wooden building on stilts amid emerald rice fields, this rustic homestay feels idyllic and peaceful, making it a comfortable stop for travelers. Nearby simple roadside eateries serve homely fare such as spring rolls, morning glory and pork fried with garlic, reinforcing the rural, down-to-earth dining experience." - Ron Emmons

Lovely homestay with very warm hosts. The food was exceptional and overwhelmingly abundant, and the 'happy water' (corn moonshine) was flowing m The showers and bathrooms were either new or very recently renovated, and the water was piping hot. And the views of course are to die for. Highly recommend.

This dog desperately needs a hair cut and a shower. They have it tied to a pole with a chain. I have seen them untie it but they leave the chain on. Please, please take better care of your dog!

If you look in the dictionary for the meaning of “Hospitality”, a photo of this place should appear as the meaning. |Beautiful place run by the most welcoming and friendly couple, Orchid and Jamie, will treat you like family.|True hospitality runs through their veins. The place is spotless. The room I stayed was a solo/couple room, comfy, well decorated, clean room with a nice share balcony facing the gorgeous mountains.|Food… FOOD! Was spectacular! True, super fresh Vietnamese comfort food! Locally sourced/ grown ingredients.|They have a lovely and welcoming patio with a bonfire( perfect for winter time) + they owned a goat as a pet! |Simply … the best home stay I’ve ever been.

We stayed here for 2 nights and couldn't be happier! We weren't sure when we booked this place at the beginning, what we would discover. But we discovered a great and happy family. The rooms in the main house can be a bit noisy, as you sleep with other guests under the same roof, just separated with wooden walls. But they have build nice private rooms which are a perfect quiet place to stay in. The food they cook is really AMAZING. Such a big variety, for meat lovers, fish lovers as well as vegan/vegetarians. BUT, before you eat, the happy corn 🌽 water is shared among all guests. This continues during the dinner time untill the karaoke box is switched on. Fun nights, and the good thing is they stop the music at 10 so you can have a nice rest. Would love to go there again. High-key recommend this home stay family. The shared

We stayed in the shared area and really liked it. They added curtains for more privacy, and we felt very safe (we were a group). The beds were very comfortable, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. I highly recommend it if you don’t mind sharing space. They also offer bungalows and private rooms.

This has been by far our favorite home stay on our trip, we had to spend an extra night here it was so good! We felt very welcomed by Lan in her beautiful home, it is in a very peaceful area surrounded by 360 views of the mountains. The rooms were really well decorated, you can tell there has been a lot of love put into the place. We really enjoyed the family dinner, especially good spring rolls! We hope to come back one day.

Amazing stay here with Lan, I stayed an extra night on my motorbike trip. She is the most personable and kind host, showed me around a local village nearby, and invited me to a local party with plenty of food and happy water! This was the kind of experience you always wish you could have, thanks to Lan I had the best stay ever. The beds are also extremely comfortable!

This was my favorite place I stayed at during my trip around the Ha Giang Loop. I saw in another review that if you're looking for quiet, this is the place, hence I chose this place - Lan doesn't accept groups of Easy Riders, so there won't be any karaoke or music going on till late at this place. Unlike other homestays, the owner Lan speaks perfect English, so you can have a real conversation and learn about the community (as opposed to having surface level conversations using Google translate). As a solo-traveler, I really appreciated this aspect. The rooms are cutely decorated and you can tell a lot of thought and care went into it. Shower is hot, Wifi is very strong, and bed is comfortable. Really can't ask for more for the price you're paying. When I do the loop again, I'm 100% staying here again!
