Restaurant du Pont truly impressed me—from the warm welcome to the last bite. Tucked away in the Planches district, it offers a cozy, charming atmosphere. The truffle fondue and catch of the day are must-tries. Friendly service and fair prices make it well worth a visit. Book ahead if you can!

Delicious dinner! The host/owner was friendly, charming, and very kind. The food was wonderful and we also loved the wine. A gem in Montreux!

Always a pleasure to come back here. Simple but very well done quality food. Cosy atmosphere. Friendly service. Good wine selection at affordable prices. A must in old Montreux (go to nearby Parking Donner if you are by car).

My boyfriend and I had dinner here, we ordered the cheese fondue and beef tartare with truffle. Everything was so delicious! The staff was extremely friendly and explained how to correctly eat the cheese fondue using a long fork (It’s my first time trying cheese fondue, I didn’t use the long fork but just dipped the bread into the cheese pot in the beginning…lol). The restaurant makes me feel like at home. It’s very cozy with comfortable seating space. There are many locals eating here, I feel like it’s been open for many years, and it has gained a good reputation. I strongly recommend it!

Got food poisoning, would not recommend. In reply to the owner: I had turkey with vegetables and chips. I think the mayonnaise was homemade and so it can only have been the egg in that (the turkey was well cooked).

Ate at the restaurant dinner with family, charming location in the old town of Montreux. Casual dinning, few items on the menu, good quality ingredients and tasteful. Service friendly and effective. A nice place for a relaxed evening. Location:5. Food:4. Service:4. Value for money: 4

Beautiful spot in Montreux, great walking distance from the city center and impressive views. Lovely restaurant with friendly service and good food. Fun fact, you can see the golden pass "pass by" over the bridge next to the restaurant. Very special!!

I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Everything - from the location to the absolutely incredible food - made this dinner so memorable. We were fortunate enough to bump into a lovely woman who lives locally - Anke kindly gave us the recommendation to eat here and walked us up into the village. We were staying by the lake so finding this absolutely charming part of Montreux was part of the magic. With that said, the food was spectacular. The risotto may have been the best I’ve ever had, the steak was divine, the fondue with truffles was decadent in the best way, and the tomato salad with fresh mozzarella was as good as they come. Do t miss dessert either :). You absolutely cannot go wrong eating here (prices are very reasonable as well). With thanks to the staff and especially our guardian angel Anke!

Yelp
Very cute spot. Seemed like a local spot...not a tourist trap at all. My prawn dish was the best thing we ate that night. I meannnnnnnn so good. So flavorful. So many shrimp. I don't know if that was the true serving or because the dish was supposed to have escargots. My friend had the steak dish. The only reason I can't give this place 5 stars is because the dishes we really wanted were out. I wanted to try some authentic French cuisine. They were out of the roast beef. The two gentlemen in charge were very charming. I wanted the Creme brûlée but they were out of that too. So they suggested the apple pastry. My dining companion absolutely loved it. She rarely gets to eat apple pastry desserts because she's allergic to cinnamon. This dessert didn't have cinnamon but was caramel based. I on the other hand love my apple desserts with a bunch of cinnamon and nutmeg. Oh and the white stuff is not ice cream, it's cream. I love cream. I wish this had a little more sugar. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience. The two gentlemen in charge were great and made the experience enjoyable and made very good suggestions.

Yelp
Don't miss when visiting Montreux A very welcoming little nice restaurant in the heart of the old Montreux. Excellent home made food with a really nice decor. Really worth a visit. The two women running the place are just lovely.
