Such a cute little place in old town Montreux! My husband and I visited on our last night in Switzerland and got the fondue with potatoes and dried meat platter—everything was delicious! The owner, Christophe, is very friendly and runs an amazing restaurant— definitely try this place out if you’re in the area!!

Happy to find this restaurant. We ordered a truffle fondue and tartar. Both meals were very good. The tartar was the best I ever had. And with a bottle of a local wine which was recommended by the owner it was a super combo. I also should highlight a service. It was friendly, polite and warm. I would come back to Montreux only because of that place, for one more dinner and one more gourmand experience.

Ate here right as they opened at 11am. I wandered up to the old city for an early lunch before my train. I had fondue and a salad. Everything was very good. Salad was fresh with some nice shavings of Parmesan or maybe an aged alpine cheese (but I think it was parm). Fondue cheese was very tasty. Second time eating proper Swiss fondue (I don’t count my times eating it in the US as proper!). Had a cappuccino afterward. The server brought me some local grapes which was a nice treat following a hefty meal of fondue! I recommend stopping here.

One of the best places in town. The food is fresh, full of flavour, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The owner really goes out of his way to make everyone feel comfortable and looked after. It’s the kind of place you just want to keep coming back to. Yves is amazing, such a genuine person and it really shows in the whole experience.

Ate at the restaurant and it was fantastic. They were extremely accommodating and were nice enough to take us in, even though we'd accidentally made a reservation for the wrong day. Food was delicious and the view of the lake was impeccable! It's a great way to check out a more hidden part of Montreux.

Restaurant du Pont truly impressed me—from the warm welcome to the last bite. Tucked away in the Planches district, it offers a cozy, charming atmosphere. The truffle fondue and catch of the day are must-tries. Friendly service and fair prices make it well worth a visit. Book ahead if you can!

Amazing Fondue served in a beautiful atmosphere by the kindest and funniest young looking man in the entire Switzerland, named Yves Feels like we hit a corner of heaven in this small village in Swiss. Try it. You will love it.

WOW. This place is FANTASTIC. Tucked away above the touristy area of Montreux, it’s an easy walk up the lake. Positioned next to a rushing waterfall, the owner was gracious and patient with my fumbling French. The Cocette de poulet is a rich, saucy, oh-so-tender chicken dish served with morel mushrooms and bursting with flavor. The flavor… Did I mention the flavor? Wow. My son had the Encotré de boeuf (steak) and it was juicy, tender, and grilled perfectly.

Yelp
Very cute spot. Seemed like a local spot...not a tourist trap at all. My prawn dish was the best thing we ate that night. I meannnnnnnn so good. So flavorful. So many shrimp. I don't know if that was the true serving or because the dish was supposed to have escargots. My friend had the steak dish. The only reason I can't give this place 5 stars is because the dishes we really wanted were out. I wanted to try some authentic French cuisine. They were out of the roast beef. The two gentlemen in charge were very charming. I wanted the Creme brûlée but they were out of that too. So they suggested the apple pastry. My dining companion absolutely loved it. She rarely gets to eat apple pastry desserts because she's allergic to cinnamon. This dessert didn't have cinnamon but was caramel based. I on the other hand love my apple desserts with a bunch of cinnamon and nutmeg. Oh and the white stuff is not ice cream, it's cream. I love cream. I wish this had a little more sugar. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience. The two gentlemen in charge were great and made the experience enjoyable and made very good suggestions.

Yelp
Don't miss when visiting Montreux A very welcoming little nice restaurant in the heart of the old Montreux. Excellent home made food with a really nice decor. Really worth a visit. The two women running the place are just lovely.
