Warm welcome and high quality service, many free services (coffee, drinks...) to feel at home! Rooms are large and clean, and this is a very quiet area. Douro river is nearby for a nice walk along the river. Thanks Beatrix and Elena for your welcome!

A jewel of a place to stay in every way… the staff were super accommodating and friendly as well as efficient and very personable. the architecture is simple and elegant. I loved this part of the city, especially during the summer… open breezes in front of the water, not exactly the beach as stated, but not far from the beach. Close to some very nice restaurants right on the water. Super easy to get to and from the center via 500 bus. Great breakfast with nice choices and a garden in the back which is super quiet and great to hang out in. They even have bikes if you want to go riding up the marginal. The sheets were luxurious and the beds, super comfy… I loved this place…very special.

This is a 'hotel garni'. It is fantastic, so friendly and clean and comfortable in a terrific location. Turn left and you have lovely beaches and clean sea. Keep left and you have amazing restaurants and chic boutiques. The staff are wonderful. Don't expect a hotel, it's all the better for it. Our kind of place and would definitely return. Loved breakfast too. Only downside is that Porto central is a building site at the moment, it is manic.

If you ever visit Porto stay here. A little out of the city centre but on bus and tram route into the city. Uber is also very affordable. Spotlessly clean, lovely rooms, wonderful staff and fantastic breakfast. Nice garden and terrace and free bicycles to use. Absolutely wonderful.

We came here for my birthday and our honeymoon and we were so happy to stay at duas portas. Architecturally it's splendid - simple but tasteful and luxurious. The staff were thoughtful and kind and generous. We loved the location overlooking the water. We would return and have already recommended it. Thanks for the port and red wine!

Beautiful guest house with lovely, friendly staff in a very convenient location if you are looking to combine trips into the city centre with days at the beach. We brought our two young children and Beatrix and the team were so warm and welcoming and understanding

The ultimate BB boutique hotel in Porto. Everything - decoration of the rooms, the quality of the renovation undertaken, the common area) is as it should be tasteful and functional without and unnecessary frills. Situated right on the shore of Douro with a tram station (line 1) on its front door. Ideal for morning and evening walks / runs. The personnel is very accommodating and helpful. The basic breakfast buffet is small but refreshingly satisfying. The offering of local port wine and wine and a record player in the common area and offering of a big glass bottle of water in the rooms every say were special details we appreciated during our 3 night stay. Rooms 1 and 5 are the best!
