We had a fantastic time on the Dublin walking tour with Jack. We learned a lot and enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend taking this tour at the beginning of your stay in Dublin as a fast, dependable way to orient yourself in the city. The guides offer a lot helpful information about what to do while you’re here.

I took the Yellow Umbrella Walking Tour in Dublin with Sam & it was exceptional! Sam paid great attention to detail, listing specific dates and even fact checking along the way to answer questions. The tour was organized and it was clear Sam truly cared about the tour and our experience but also his home city of Dublin. Highly recommend, thanks Sam!!

Want a cultured, entertaining overview of the history as well as the insider scoop of current day Dublin? Two words to reminder, folks: Jack. Redmond. An absolute history buff and local legend, he introduced Dublin and Ireland with a warm welcome. Highly recommend!

Great free walking tour with Jack. We learnt a lot about the South side and Dublin in general. Really nice walk with a balanced mixture of historical information and fun facts. As we liked the tour a lot, we spontaneously decided to book a beer tasting with them for the same day. Again it exceeded our expectations. This time we and a nice bunch of people were guided by Sam through different pubs and learned interesting stuff about beer and whiskey. As promised this tour was not a pub crawl but an entertaining and informative evening.

Yellow Umbrella Macabre and Bloody Tour. To Robert: first of all, I love your energy and vibes. you're super knowledgeable, you talk passionate about the things you want and need to talk about, and are a joy to listen to. You show genuine interest in the people you're touring, without prying or being too in your face. it's wonderful. the tour itself is very informative, with some nice gruesome details about Dublin's history. from start to finish, a great walking pace, very enjoyable information told by a legitimately and genuinely fun person. would definitely book a tour again. thank you for helping make our honeymoon unforgettable!

We had the most amazing time with our guide Peter! Since we were the only participants this morning, we had a „private“ tour, that was very interesting and fun. Peter who is originally from Dublin knows this city and the history of Ireland by heart. We can warmly recommend this tour, that gives so many precious insights of Dublin and the irish culure!

We have been doing walking tours in almost all cities that we’ve visited and the tours we did in Dublin with the yellow umbrella company were over exceeding our expectations. We first did the south side tour with Conor and enjoyed this experience so much that we booked for the north side tour as well as the pub tour for the day after. Conor was our guide for both the south and north side tours and he truly made both amazing due to his incredible knowledge on history, paired with anecdotes, humour and passion for the job - all rooted in what I believe is genuine curiosity. Martin was our guide for the pub tour, and while one could think you would not learn much on a pub tour, Martin shared his extensive knowledge and insights on Dublin and Ireland and we’ve had great conversations with him over some drinks. I cannot recommend Conor, Martin and the Dublin Free Walking Tour enough!
