The hotel has a beautiful caldera view, which we enjoyed from our superior suite with an outdoor bathtub. However, not all rooms are the same sizes and views vary, and I don’t think ours was one of the best. The outdoor tub wasn’t very clean, which was disappointing. The biggest letdown was breakfast: served ice cold three days in a row, to the point that we only had coffee and an apple pie before heading elsewhere to eat. On the positive side, the staff did an incredible job helping with our heavy luggage up and down all the steps, it was truly impressive. For a quite expensive 4star hotel, though, I was surprised they didn’t provide a steam iron or ironing board. Another thing to note: Oia is a very busy location. We had lots of people passing right in front of our room and tourists constantly taking pictures on the streets, which made it feel less private. Overall, the view is worth enjoying for a night, but if you are looking for an experience that truly matches the value you pay for, I would look elsewhere.
