My wife and I stayed in the Honeymoon Suite at Ducato di Oia for four unforgettable days, and it was truly the highlight of our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely incredible. warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff made us feel like royalty, always going above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and happy. ||The suite itself was breathtaking. The views from the room were incredible! Whether we were enjoying breakfast on the terrace or relaxing in the private plunge pool, every moment felt special. Additionally, you’re less than 5 minutes away from the Main Street of Oia, filled with various shops and restaurants. ||We can’t recommend Ducato di Oia enough to any couple looking for a romantic escape in Santorini. Maria was extremely helpful and ensured my wife and I were taken care of! Thank you to the entire team for making our honeymoon truly magical!

Ducato Di Oia is a block of suites in the heart of Oia, Santorini, all with great views of the Caldera. There are 20 different unique suites , some with small pools, but all with bathrooms in caves (although only 7 are featured on their website). The staff were just fabulous and the concierge team went above and beyond the call. Breakfast was very tasty. It is a perfect base in Oia. We spent 5 nights at Ducato. In case, you were wondering you can not see the sunset from here, but get up early, you can see the sunrise coming up over the cliffs in the other direction. Definitely a dream vacation. No pets, No kids allowed.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this stunning hotel during our trip to Santorini. From the moment we opened the door to our room, we were blown away by how beautiful everything was inside. The view was absolutely breathtaking, and having a private pool truly set this place apart from other accommodations we’ve experienced.|Relaxing in the pool while enjoying the panoramic views was one of the highlights of our stay—especially after returning from a day of sightseeing. It was the perfect way to unwind before heading out for dinner.||The staff were exceptional! In particular, Maria and Nadja were very professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble. They went out of their way to recommend local attractions and authentic restaurants, and even helped us organize our transfers.||One of the things we really appreciated was the breakfast service. You can choose your breakfast each day from a great selection, and let them know your preferences in advance. On our departure day, they kindly arranged for an early breakfast, which we were so grateful for.||We truly appreciated all the care and attention we received during our stay. If you're planning a trip to Santorini, we highly recommend staying at this beautiful hotel!

Me and my husband have just come back from a weeks stay here , what can we say...this place is amazing, the staff were all amazing, couldn't do enough. They were so friendly and were always on hand to help with anything. The breakfasts in the morning were always on time and were lovely. We stayed in the shared plungepool room milos but actually had the pool to ourselves the entire stay . The pool was cleaned daily, as was the room. The room was a cave room and had lots of space and character .There are a few stairs to tackle every day, but this is oia, so it is absolutely inevitable. The view are spectacular, and we were near enough right under the blue domes . The oia sunset is a must, and there's plenty of shops and restaurants around. The hotel is lovely and quiet away from the hassle and bustle. We had an amazing time here and would definitely come back again and stay here .

I came here for my honeymoon and stayed here three nights for a total of $1,196.97. I really had high expectations from this hotel thinking it would be cave style luxury. Positive comments: Staff are probably the only good part to this hotel. I absolutely loved the staff and Anna. Everyone was soooo helpful and accommodating. - This place is walking distance to everywhere. - insanely beautiful view Negative comments: The cave style aesthetic is completely outdated. Everything felt like it needed renovations. There were big cockroaches. The bed was uncomfortable. And had only two pieces of pillows. No blankets It was weird using this bathroom being open and dark. Everything seemed so run down and old. The breakfast was absolutely disappointing. They had different rules but the food was not fresh or hot. It did not live up to proper standards of “Luxury” Kind of regret staying here for my honeymoon. I would have been better off with a modern more cleaner airbnb or hotel elsewhere. The price came from the name Oia itself. Maybe everything is much more expensive only because its in Oia.

The staffers have been very friendly and helpful, and the room is clean, spacious and tidy. The pool is great and the view here feels private and fantastic. I recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Oia!

If you’re wanting a truly luxurious experience then would recommend putting your money in a different hotel. We are a relatively low maintenance couple and usually do AirBNB’s with our children. We also travel frequently - about every 6 weeks. This was our first couples only trip in years. We felt very disappointed in the lack of attention to detail. Our private pool was overrun by bugs (both dead and alive) compared to others on the cliffs- we would have happily cleaned them out ourselves if a net had been provided. They also never cleaned them out so the pool became unusable - they did somehow find time to clean it- as we checked out. Every morning we were greeted by puddles of cat urine on our patio furniture and cigarette smoke wafting from other different hotel staff just below our room. Coordinated Taxi times were incorrect, breakfast had minor differences incorrect every day. We emptied out our own de-humidifier when it stopped functioning. None of these things are a big deal on their own, but when it’s all of them and every day, and you’re paying for a luxurious experience - it missed the mark. That being said, the view is fantastic, the room itself with bed and decor were great, and the staff seem to work very hard. We just wished we could have used the patio and pool more.

The hotel has a beautiful caldera view, which we enjoyed from our superior suite with an outdoor bathtub. However, not all rooms are the same sizes and views vary, and I don’t think ours was one of the best. The outdoor tub wasn’t very clean, which was disappointing. The biggest letdown was breakfast: served ice cold three days in a row, to the point that we only had coffee and an apple pie before heading elsewhere to eat. On the positive side, the staff did an incredible job helping with our heavy luggage up and down all the steps, it was truly impressive. For a quite expensive 4star hotel, though, I was surprised they didn’t provide a steam iron or ironing board. Another thing to note: Oia is a very busy location. We had lots of people passing right in front of our room and tourists constantly taking pictures on the streets, which made it feel less private. Overall, the view is worth enjoying for a night, but if you are looking for an experience that truly matches the value you pay for, I would look elsewhere.
