Ducato Di Oia

The room looked just like the picture, but was a bit smaller than I thought but, with the best view ever!! Very clean, always smells nice. Breakfast was very tasty! And, was delivered to our room every morning by a lovely man. The private hot tub was always warm and clean. All staff were very kind and polite especially Nadia and Anna. On the last day of our stay, we checked out at 11am and Nadia and Anna organised for us to stay at this beautiful Elysian Retreat with infinity pool. What an amazing place!- at no extra cost! Our flight was at 9pm so we stayed there all day. Showered, get changed and taxi- organised by Anna- took us to the airport- 20min drive from the retreat. This was the best, relaxing holiday ever! I will definitely come back!!!

We had such a great experience staying at Ducato di Oia. The views were absolutely insane—staying right in the heart of Oia, along the caldera, felt like a dream. You really can't beat the location. Everything was within walking distance, from shops to restaurants to the best photo spots. It made getting around super easy and stress-free.||||The hotel itself was lovely. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. What really stood out to us, though, was the staff. They were so kind and communicative—from the moment we booked, they were already helping us arrange transportation and checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly. It made the whole experience feel really personal and cared for.||||One small area for improvement would be breakfast. The QR code ordering system was actually really convenient and a great idea, but the breakfast itself was just okay and not always exactly right. Still, it didn’t take away from the overall experience.||||We’d absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Oia. It’s such a beautiful place to stay with a staff that truly goes above and beyond.

Stayed for a 2 night stay at the start of our island hopping trip around the Cyclades. We had a room with pool, the room exceeded my expectations and was actually nicer than the photos. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was OK but plentiful.

We booked a Double Room with Hot Tub and Partial Caldera View- there are 2 of these rooms but what the website doesn't tell you is that they are completely different. 1 is TINY inside- you have to crawl to get to the bed, can't open any suitcases and no where to relax inside.. this one has a partial view of the caldera outside, as well as a sitting area. The other room inside is lovely and spacious, however outside has NO view and other than in the hot tub- no where to sit out side. It should also noted that ALL rooms are not exactly private.. you feel like you're sharing the outside with the room next to you which is very off putting and annoying. |We had many problems with this hotel- air con didn't work, bfast was over 1/2 hour late for 2 out of 3 mornings, we had problems with male staff members. This list goes on. We were so so disappointed... we had been to Oia before and had the most magical stay unfortunately at this property, this was not the case. We also met some other couple staying in a different room type and they had similar (and to be honest) worst problems with their room. The hotel really needs to life their game on all levels.|Positive- (and the reason I gave it 2 stars): breakfast was lovely when it arrived and the location is excellent for exploring Oia.

A beautiful resort for our honeymoon! We loved the ambiance and the close proximity to the main drag of Oia! The staff was available via WhatsApp whenever we needed anything and breakfast was brought right to our patio every morning. We also had a small pool at our room which was so refreshing after hiking through Oia all day. Highly recommend if you’re wanting to stay super close. It was a very romantic atmosphere!

So glad we chose Ducato. The cave rooms are so unique and the views are unbeatable. It was fun just getting to and from the rooms along the cliff. If you can, splurge on a private hot tub. The location is Oia can't be beat, and our hosts - Anna and Nadia - were amazing! Super attentive and caring and made our visit so easy and special. Hope to go back one day.

Absolutely beautiful rooms! This hotel was by far the highlight of all 5 that we stayed at during our trip. We had the room with a private hot tub outside, and we absolutely loved it. We did have to request to have it cleaned upon arrival, but no other issues with it. The steps might make accessibility an issue for some, however we knew what to expect when booking a hotel in Oia. The only issue that we had with our stay was with breakfast. When you arrive, staff will ask what time slot you want breakfast delivered, and if you are not one of the first few rooms to choose, you end up with a time slot that interferes with your plans. We ran into this issue twice before we caught on that we need to request our time earlier. The other issue we ran into was breakfast arriving on time. The breakfast timeslots were in 15 min intervals, and our breakfast consistently was delivered at least 20 min late daily. We ran into some issues being late for excursions because we were waiting on breakfast. Additionally, our orders were not always correct, and the coffee was always subpar and lukewarm (even when ordering a cold coffee). Otherwise, the quality of the food was great and we had an excellent overall stay here.

Ducato Di Oia was an amazing stay. We were there 3 days ago and the service, views and rooms were great! We were treated with respect and Nadia (reception) gave us a warm welcome and and very hospitable. Thanks Nadia! :) Christy was great to us. He made sure breakfast came on time and we were taken care of. He was really friendly and looked after us during our stay. Overall great experience and would highly recommend anyone to go there and experience Oia at its best. Breathtaking views!
