We spent a wonderful week at the Duchamp where we felt safe and pampered the entire time. The location is ideal, steps away from downtown Healdsburg, but very quiet and private. The onsite parking lot was a great convenience. I can't say enough nice things about everyone on the staff. They all were extremely friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to provide outstanding service. The rooms are enormous, modern, and very clean, the grounds are beautifully kept. We felt like family while staying here.

Once again delighted but the Duchamp but even more so now with the covid precautions necessary for traveling safely. With only 6 free standing cottages, each with its own entrance you can easily enjoy the pool and grounds while safely distancing from other guests. The pool is sparkling clean. The cottages modern and spacious and now have a wine cellar stocked w Williamson Wines for purchase in your room. Restaurants and shops are all open in Healdsburg, and the Duchamp's location just off the square means you can enjoy it all but with a little more calm bc it's down it's own quiet alley. Tom and Yvonne are wonderful hosts, helpful with reservations, extra towels, pool floats what ever you need.

Score could be 4.5. Two minute walk to Healdsburg Plaza makes for great shopping and restaurant access. Quiet, separate bungalow, with direct private outside access allow easy in/out from the hotel. Interior offers large room and bathroom. The minimalist danish modern architecture is clean and appealing. However, the interiors are a bit dated and need some “freshening”. Bathroom floor tile needs grout, duplex wall outlet in bathroom and safe were inoperable, and a ceiling light hung loose from its cord. The bedding was simply sumptuous. Pillows were excellent. The housekeeping staff were invisible but our room was well stocked with ample high grade towels and wash cloths. It was expensive but we enjoyed our stay and will return.

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary and it was the perfect spot. Having the privacy of your own suite with no one on the other side of the wall was fantastic. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was very large with several different water options. My only complaint would be that there was no art on the walls. Not a huge deal but it would have made the room a little better.

Google
Highly recommend for a safe and relaxing getaway. With only 6 free standing cottages around a sparkling clean and spacious pool you can enjoy the grounds while maintaining safe social distance. The cottages are clean and modern and now have selection of Williamson Wines for purchase in your room!

Google
This is not your standard hotel with valets, concierge, room service. What you do get is the feeling of staying in an upscale guesthouse with lots of light and air situated steps away from the square just around the corner from Willi's seafood so you are close to the action but far enough away to be peaceful. Absolutely serene and luxurious. Pool and hot tub are sparkling on a hot day and with only 6 cottage suites on the property it's quiet and private. 3 cottages including our cottage #3 face the pool while the others face the creek. Huuuge shower and bathroom. All very modern clean lines, soft linens. Lots of off street parking. Room comes with gift certificates to the nearby bakery for breakfast. Definitely will come back here. Note: no kids or dogs allowed.

We stayed four nights at the Duchamp and it was the perfect getaway. We felt very safe as there are only 6 rooms total, and only a few were occupied during our stay. Check in was easy with minimal contact. We had such a relaxing time hanging out by the pool and in our room. ||The hotel is also so easy to walk to many restaurants that are doing outdoor dining or take out only, making it a very convenient location.||We look forward to coming back another time!

My husband and I were on a vacation to CA from NC. We were in Healdsburg only one night but I wish we had planned to stay longer. The Duchamp was absolutely perfect for us. Anne at the front desk was so sweet and helpful and I loved the individual cottages. They were clean, modern, and a perfect quiet escape. We had so many plans for our trip that we were rushed but I can’t wait to come back, slow down, and spend more time in this lovely town. We will definitely plan to stay at The Duchamp.

Yelp
No housekeeping service, the reason we were given was water use (for changing sheets). I agree they should watch their water use, but It doesn't take any water to tidy up a room, make the bed, etc. I realize that hotels want to be like Airbnb, and not have to clean rooms every night, but that's why you go to a hotel--for full service. Just a bit too tired -- and lack of service for $1000 per night (that's with taxes and fees).

Yelp
Fantastic location within walking distance to the downtown area. Private parking, six private bungalows and a 50' pool. Hubby was in heaven doing his laps. We came during the week for a couple of days and had the whole resort to ourselves. Cottage was nicely spaced. Huge walk-in shower. Bed was comfy. There's an A/C in the unit if you're hot and an electric fireplace if you're cold. Loved at there's not a lot of people staying at one time keeping the serenity of the hotel in tact. Great find and highly recommend!

Yelp
My brother and his wife had been lauding Duchamp Hotel over multiple "Pigs and Pinot" stays, and with the gradual reopening of the area and another canceled reservation in the Napa area, we thought it was worth a visit to see if his assessment of this property as "the finest in the area" was correct. From a price standpoint, it's definitely upper tier, but by a Healdsburg comparative standpoint, it's not too far off the map - in fact, I've never seen the prices so low (as of June 2020). And make no mistake - this is a well-located but also tucked away place where you can either get quiet and privacy, or enjoy a massive pool for just 12 guests (6 rooms). From a COVID-19 standpoint, Duchamp helps minimize the risks of an interconnected larger hotel. There are only six rooms in total, spread out so privacy and sanitization are of the utmost importance. You can relax outdoors as well, with the patio setups, or nap on ridiculously comfortable beds (we're not wealthy, but our home bed is amazing - and this is better). Everything about the room is terrific, in an area where stalwarts such as H2, Harmon House and others provide clean, comfortable and environmentally sounds lodging. It's luxury without being too fussy: a shower that is tailored to what you want (but can simply be "just a shower"); Wi-Fi that really works; no battles for "the best" parking spots: lots of places to relax without interference (although we're not overly social, our fellow guests were an absolute joy to get to know). The whole experience, in our view, is configurable to what you need it to be (read: quiet and plush comfort for us), and that's what only a great hotel can deliver. What a thrill, and my brother was 100% correct!!!

Yelp
We booked out the Duchamp for our wedding weekend, and we used the site to host our rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, and weekend stay for the bridal party. We were absolutely thrilled with how everything went. Working with Tom was an absolute joy - he was so helpful and flexible, and he really allowed us to bring our dream weekend to life. I can't say enough about the beautiful garden area - it was perfect for our two events!

Yelp
We were delighted to find this gem in the heart of Healdsburg. It is close to everything. Lovely pool and only 6 private villas, three on each side of the pool. The unit was modern and nice. Very comfortable bed, towels and amenities. We will be back for certain and I am a travel agent who will be booking this location. Thank you

Yelp
The front desk lady is horribly awful at her recommendations. Simply asked for a best bar in the area and was replied with a sassy were a hotel we don't have a bar and I've been away for three days. Not kind or welcoming front desk staff even if there was miscommunication

Mark H.

Yelp
We were the only ones there for four days and while that was nice - you'd think they'd go the extra mile to make you feel welcome, that wasn't the case. It felt kinda sterile and the broken "modern art" and cameras around the pool and hot tub were less than welcoming - felt like this place had seen better days. I understand, it can't be easy - but when you are paying these prices you should do better. Word is they are about to retool the place. Whatever they do, I hope they give the place a little soul. They probably will.

Yelp
We stayed here for our "mini-moon" a few months ago. Like what Maria said, I was a little apprehensive about the location as it appears to be next to a sewage drain on Google Maps. But in reality, you drive all of 500 feet off the main square and you're there. The staff greeted us with champagne and white wine before showing us the cottage. Materials are very modern and minimalist. The bed is awesome, I wanted to take it home. Breakfast was simple but high quality and satisfying. I have to talk about the privacy of this place - there was no one there for the first few days so it was like having the entire place to yourself. As the weekend came, a few more guests came in, but honestly we hardly noticed. Duchamp is such a quiet and relaxing place to stay. It feels like a hidden country summer home. Hotel Healdsburg in comparison feels like a hotel - you can hear traffic, people talking constantly, kids playing, etc. The only tradeoff is that Duchamp has limited amenities and staff hours, but if you can use your two feet to get what you need you shouldn't have a problem. Getting the heated pool and hot tub to yourself at 10 PM is worth it, too. :)

Yelp
I can't speak to the quality of the hotel because we weren't able to visit due to the unfortunate Kincade fire that ignited 10/23/19 evening, which resulted in Sonoma County issuing evacuation orders (our hotel reservations were made for Saturday, 10/26- Sunday,10/27), but I CAN speak to the horrible customer service we received, and hope that by sharing our terrible experience with this hotel you have advanced warning to stay as far away from a hotel that conducts such poor business practices. Shortly after we learned about the Sonoma County evacuation warnings (we read that the winds were expected to top 80mph on Saturday, that people were being advised that they should get ready to leave, and that the mayor himself was quoted saying, "People are very scared,") I politely wrote the hotel explaining that we were very concerned about our safety - that we wouldn't be able to enjoy our trip given the conditions, and kindly asked if we could reschedule our reservations for a time when it was safe to visit Healdsburg and the surrounding cities and wineries (note, that I said reschedule, not even cancel/refund our money). The next day I received a phone call from the VP of operations (Tom Nelson) claiming that "our comfort was his first priority - that he understood our concerns, and wanted to provide us with the best benefits of our reservation" YET he proceeded to claim that everything we were reading in the media was blown out of proportion, that we were not in any danger, other guests were having a wonderful time, that he would FaceTime me from the property to prove it (seriously?), and that the fire was moving far away from the hotel" so we had nothing to worry about. I was completely taken aback by his phone call. As a future guest I felt challenged - that my concerns/needs were completely trivialized (obviously the complete opposite of what you should feel as a future guest of a high-end hotel). That said, I fully heard him out and told him I would double check with my partner to confirm whether she would still feel unsafe after I shared this additional information. After confirming that my partner still felt extremely unsafe and still wanted to reschedule (see attached screenshots of what we were seeing on the news), I called Tom back and requested (this 2nd time) that we cancel our reservations and we receive a refund for the full amount we paid for the hotel (we really wanted to stay at the property in the future, but we honestly were concerned that we would encounter similar negative, defensive interactions with Tom/the hotel so we felt safer asking for a refund and then making a future reservation later). And then....on top of all this, Tom emails me back continuing to defend his position that everything was completely safe - that the media is exaggerating how unsafe the situation is, and included a link to a news article that he felt was "more balanced." He then noted that our reservation was non-refundable within a 30-day window in advance of our arrival (seriously?). Shortly afterwards I received an email cancellation stating that we would still be charged a $95.00 admin fee. I was completely speechless. It was a health hazard to visit the area! The very next day (the day of our scheduled arrival) we read that Sonoma County Sheriff's deputies were going door to door in Windsor and Healdsburg, ordering people to evacuate the area and placing yellow caution tape on homes... that The Healdsburg Community Center was being evacuated, and that emergency staff was busing out folks who didn't have transportation. Bottom line, the situation was unfortunate for many reasons: 1) for all residents impacted by the devastating fire, 2) for the way the hotel treated us, 3) for the fact I had to cancel my credit card to get my money back, and 4) for the fact that I noticed the owners Mark and Marie Luzaich were both cc:ed on all emails yet NOT ONCE did they jump in to try to correct this unfortunate situation (note in the "About Us" section they state, "We take great pride in offering our guests a private and personalized experience that will make you feel like you are coming over to stay with family.") I've taken the time to write out this long, detailed review with the hope that you're well aware of the poor, short-sided decisions this hotel makes at the expense of their guests before you make a hotel reservation here. I highly recommend that you don't waste your time nor your money on this place. (BTW, see Mattie, Ashland's review on Expedia on 10/27 - the Sunday we would have been at the hotel- "Never stay in this hotel. You will regret. Terrible staff. They never care for you.)

Yelp
Check out the dates on the poor reviews- they're pretty old. The Duchamp looks totally unassuming from the parking lot but step inside the gates and you are transported to an exclusive retreat. If big hotels and crowds are your thing then this place isn't for you. However, if you've discovered the joy of small luxury properties then this will be right up your alley. It is super quiet and tranquil yet steps away from the fun and lively square in Healdsburg. Furnishings, decor, and overall aesthetic are California modern minimalist. In reading some reviews, this may be unusual to folks from the Midwest or East Coast but anyone from the West Coast will feel right at home with the polished concrete floors and starkness. Bed, sheets, pillows and towels were all super plush and cozy. Biggest disappointment is the tiny sink because water goes everywhere on the counter no matter how hard you try. Breakfast is just pastry, granola, yogurt, fruit and hard boiled eggs so if you're wanting a protein bomb of a breakfast you will want to make other arrangements.

Yelp
We loved this place. We wanted close to town, clean, intimate and comfortable. The Duchamp checked off all the boxes and then some. We were greeted by Anne on Thanksgiving Day who made sure we were comfortable and was helpful with suggestions of places to visit in Healdsburg. What this place isn't, is a place for people who need bellman service, room service and spa services. But for us it was perfect because it felt private and the outdoor space was very inviting and can only imagine what it is like when the weather is good. But the ease of coming and going was great which we needed for medical reasons so we will be back to this little oasis in an Oasis..

Yelp
We had a lovely stay, one committed very cool and detail oriented woman was running the place, everything extremely neat and clean, lots of beautiful clean lines and hi ceilings... and spacious feeling, also feels very private although it's right off the Square

Susanne K.

Yelp
A great experience! What set this hotel apart right from the get go was the greeting from Anne at the reception. Warm, intelligent, welcoming, truly wanting to create a wonderful experience I received the full tour of the premises and could choose a great room. The setting off the main road in Healdsburg makes this hotel a true find. So close to the center of town, yet in the midst of tranquility. A great place to relax, and once ready enjoy what the town has to offer. In the morning I enjoyed breakfast at the little French restaurant right across the way, which I did not have to pay for as it came with the hotel room. Wish I could have extended my stay, but I had to return back to town. I would love come back and can highly recommend it to others. A true find!

Yelp
At first glance, the Duchamp kind of looks like its in the middle of nowhere - next to a sewage drain behind the rest of the town. But don't be fooled! For those of you who like modern decor and don't want to stay in a b&b that looks like grandma's house, this is the place for you! We loved the stark minimalist interior and clean, white bedsheets. The Duchamp is a quiet and peaceful place to relax, go for a swim, eat some good food, and its a good base for exploring wineries. There are about 6 bungalows total - so not too many other guests. Everyone was quiet and respectful. However, note that the front desk is only open from about 9 or 10 to 6 pm, and there is no service between 12-3. This is kind of inconvenient, but they do leave an emergency number to call. Their continental breakfast is out of this world! An assortment of fresh pastries served with goat cheese, jam, and figs (these are not your costco pastries that most hotels serve), granola served with heaps of fresh blueberries, yogurt, an assortment of fruit, and hard boiled eggs. I loved the scones baked with fresh blueberries combined with the saltiness of the goat cheese. Delish. Healdsburg is not too overly-touristed. Its not Napa, nor is it in Napa Valley. Its a small town where everything closes at 5 pm. But if you are looking for rest, relaxation, no kids/families, and good eats, this is the place for you.

Yelp
First of all, ignore all bad reviews because this place has new owners as of 2 months ago and I have no idea about the previous owners, but I can tell you, these new owners have it going on at Duchamp! I had no idea what to expect when I booked this but I was beyond impressed and I am a hard traveler to impress because I am spoiled rotten... The rooms are basically little private bungalows. Everything was modern and clean and cutting edge. The bedding was so awesome, I had to get the designer and just ordered some for my home. Their breakfast was also perfect. Nespresso machines that I LOVE, incredible granola and yogurt and fresh fruit and boiled eggs and fresh pastries.... They even put a Nespresso machine in our bungalow! The location could not be more perfect. It's right in town but tucked behind the square so it's quiet. The property was also pristine. I loved the place so much, I booked a trip for an entire week there because I just want to hang there. It felt like I had my own apartment in the wine country. And I hesitate to post this review because I don't want to not be able to book a room there... but this place deserves more than 5 stars!! We love you guys!!

Yelp
Just came back from our yearly jaunt to Duchamp hotel. Still wonderfully intimate and special but was dismayed to find out that the plans to expand (which of course the new owners had always planned for and have every right to do) will be going forward and it will never be the same for us. Healdsburg is trying not to be the sleepy little country town we San Franciscans sought to get away from it all. Although everything still shuts down at 9p.m and restaurants are only open a few nights a week the overdevelopment has really saddened us. That being said I wish them good luck and thanks for the memories.

Yelp
What a great find!! I stayed here a couple years ago and it was awesome. Each room is its own freestanding bungalow with sleek modern decor. The bathroom is HUGE, but I kind of felt like those old people on the Expedia commercial trying to operate the shower in the super modern hotel. They have a nice little pool, and offer free continental breakfast every morning. It's well priced, and only 2 blocks from downtown Healdsburg. If you don't want to lose your shirt at the Hotel Healdsburg, this is a great alternative.

Yelp
My husband and I ended up in Healdsburg on an unplanned getaway weekend. We decided to spend the night in town and since we had our pit bull mix with us needed a place that would accept animals. We called around and found Duchamp. The price was really reasonable and they were very dog friendly. hey are located right by down town and with in walking distance of most of the resturants and stores. The room was very modern, yet cozy, and it is actually like a cottage set up. The rooms are all little cottages so you don't have to worry about noise from your neighbor, no walls to share. They set up a dog bed and dishes for our dog and even set out a bag of treats. They have a dog run in the back for when nature calls. The shower was nice, it has several shower heads. My only complaint was that the hot tub was broken when we were there. But, overall, service was great, the room was clean and simple but still had a lot of character. The people were very accomodating. I would definately go back.

Yelp
I am sorry to have to post this bad review but I am so disappointed in my stay at Duchamp I paid top dollar $800 per night to stay here last weekend with my daughter who was with me to make plans for her upcoming wedding luckily not at Duchamp Got a call from front desk at 5 pm Fri letting me know that no in person check in after 6 pm and that our info would be taped on door by closed lobby Checked in and went to room five Two old and staple plastic lounge chairs were our outside view along a stagnant drain of standing water...disgusting Coupons for the somewhat falsely advertised free breakfast which meant getting dressed and out of room to walk into town for a bakery breakfast it was never explained that there was no food option on pre uses or that food could be delivered The next morning there was no hot water but after some back and forth the owner came and assessed the problem By now we were late for our a.m. appts so had to take cold shower and get out no time for even using our breakfast coupon Got back at end of day and of course lobby closed so no help with dinner res or anything else That night no turn down service bathroom left wet and untouched So what is the reason that I paid so much for this really poor experience The only plus was once inside the room it was nice and the a/c was working They offered me a $250 refund because of the hot water issue but I might have well just burned my money
google avatar

Yelp
This place is soooooo wonderful! The pool is not full of chlorine, the hot tub is really HOT and so relaxing, The location is perfect for walking to the square. The rooms are ultra-hip-styling with a comfy firm bed, AC when you need it, little gas woodstove if you need it, fantastic shower and bathroom - everything was fantastic - can't wait to go back - July offers an internet special on the website - mucho $$ off list price so ask about it PS - Breakfast was YUMMY!!!! Have it by the pool ! (bring your CD's they have a nice player but no ipod plug in)

Yelp
A hidden away, modern, minimalist gem a block and a half from the Healdsburg square. Each cottage is super private and very spacious (pretty sure the bathroom alone is bigger than my SF studio apt), not to mention very clean. Concrete floors, blond wood, luxuuuuurious bed, interesting sculptures along the pool, cool details inside the cottage (like a potbelly stove), and a nice elegant (but simple) breakfast of croissants, pastries, fruit, and yogurt round out the experience. (Also, you can sometimes book just one weekend night if you call and ask. And sometimes there are internet specials.)

Yelp
We LOVED our stay here!! I can't say enough nice things about the owner and the beautiful modern setting. They were so nice and took the best care of us. I loved the small quiet setting. The modern rooms are perfect. Stunning. Only 2 blocks to downtown healdsburg. Really...I could go on forever. You need to come here!! :)

Yelp
I wish we had more time here! My husband and I were with friends visiting various places in CA so we were only here one night. I wish we had been able to stay longer! I loved the individual cottages. They were modern, clean, and so comfortable. It felt like we were hidden away from the world. Anne in the office was so nice and had great suggestions. We will come again and spend more time!

Yelp
By far my favorite place to stay in Healdsburg! Classy with an exclusive feel that makes it seem like you're in an oasis retreat. Surprisingly quiet considering how close it is to all the liveliness of the town square. How about a lovely continental brunch by the pool while you decide where to spend the day? Or just relax under a tree and waste the day away. It was absolutely dreamy.

Yelp
This is a great boutique hotel within minutes walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in downtown Healdsburg. We came back here after many years to discover it is under new ownership by a local couple, Mark & Marie Luzaich. They were very gracious and it was clear they have a vision to upgrade it quickly, making it even better than before, with new luxury bedding and more. Faster wifi was already in place. Marie was especially attentive and friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed, including a very yummy breakfast. Looking forward to returning soon

Yelp
Shame on me for not heeding some of the bad reviews. We were really looking forward to a contemporary hotel. Our bungalow was a cold, spare cube with cement floors. Huge but industrial bathroom like dorm rooms of yore. And the hot water in the shower ran out within two minutes. I was left with shampoo in my hair. I pre-ordered a bottle of champagne for the hub's birthday but when we arrived, the receptionist pointed to the mini fridge and said, "Its in there." No ice bucket waiting to greet us. Zero fanfare. No fun for 50 extra bucks. All of this would have been acceptable but for the price (over $400 per night), I'd rather be at the Fairmont Mission Inn. I stay at a lot of hotels. This one disappoints.

Yelp
About 2 weeks ago we headed out to River Rock Casino and to my surprise they don't have a hotel there. I then drove to Healdsburg and searched hotels near by and was given this one. We then drove to this hotel and it looked very lonely and parking was dirt road in the back. We then walked to the front to check for availability. The lady at the front was not very friendly, I asked for availability and she said she only had one room available at $425 but she could do $325.00. I thought the price was ridiculous for the way this hotel looks, parking lot was not paved, only green plants and trees around so no beautiful view not really high end. She then proceeded to say "when I first came to this place I couldn't afford it either". I felt this comment was out of place, disrespectful and rude! I said thanks and walked out. Lady I can afford it, I just choose not to pay the amount for a place that is not worth it specially with the service you gave and the comment made. I drove down the street to Best Western and was greeted with a smile, great customer service, a beautiful garden, and a big paved parking lot. I was very happy: ) I dont recommend this place! If there were negative stars I would give -10!

Yelp
Sometimes one hopes that a mediocre/negative review might spark some contact by the propietors of an establishment for an apology or just to get tips on how to make others' experience better, especially a swanky hotel like this. They know who I am (only 12 rooms), and nothing...This is the oposite of a class act establishment.

Yelp
We enjoyed 5 nights at The Duchamp Healdsburg in March for my birthday. What a wonderful spot, so close to everything Healdsburg has to offer -- but a feeling like you are a word away once you passed thru the gates and back into peace and charm of the pool and olive grove. Continental Breakfast by the pool each morning was a treat. We cannot wait to go back!

Yelp
This place is like a prison: it's enclosed in corrugated metal walls and the rooms are gated off with tight bars. There was an alarm going off at reception from the crack of dawn for hours. They ran out of almost everything at breakfast and were totally unhelpful and unaccommodating about it. We moved hotel after one night.

Yelp
Attempted to book a night at this hotel. Their website is terrible and you're unable to make a proper reservation with confirmation. I called the number on their website multiple times but nobody ever answered. I hear this hotel is in a great location next to the Plaza but apparently the rooms need some work. I would have stayed hear if the hotel would have answered my calls as I don't really care if the rooms are outdated as long as the location is awesome.

Yelp
Stayed here for two nights for a weekend. Very upscale feel to the place. Beds are super comfortable. Breakfast was good and filling to get you ready for a full day of wine tasting. Pleasant experience overall. The individual casitas give you plenty of quiet and privacy. The only negative experience was trying to schedule a tour of the owner's winery. I had arranged for a tour for the two of us, who were staying at the hotel. At the last minute, I asked if it was possible to make it for four as I had two friends who wanted to come along. Assuming there was room on the tour, I didn't expect it to be an issue. I was told it would be fine, however, as my friends were not guests of the hotel there would be a $10 fee for each, however, it would be waived if they made a purchase. My initial reaction was to think, well that seems to be a bit of nickel and diming but ok. After thinking about it for a few minutes, I asked them to cancel the tour. Clearly they are not dumb, and figured out why. I was not offended by the idea of the charge, but was more annoyed at it than anything considering we had just spent two nights at the property and the rates are not insignificant. I would fully expect them not to have been so short sighted as to be focused on $20 rather than the whole experience where we would have in all likelihood purchased wines on our tour and they would have been better off in the end. So, overall, I would recommend this hotel - it is delightful. However, I would not recommend the tour. To their credit, they did offer to waive the fee and take us all on the tour, but it was more of an afterthought and I didn't want to go on a tour and not have a good time

Yelp
One of a kind, beautiful, classy hotel with tons of privacy. The fact that there are only six "rooms" (they are actually fully detached bungalows around a pool) made for a very quiet weekend getaway for this couple. We hardly ever saw the other guests and the staff who work there are super friendly but keep a low profile in order to make the place feel like you own it! Our room was extremely clean -- I loved the giant bathrooms and the comfortable beds. The pool was a godsend in the 100 degree summer heat. The Duchamp, Magritte and Warhol references (or is the tomato channeling Oldenburg...or Koons? I wasn't sure....) are nice touches. Once again, I've never been to a hotel quite like this and I loved it. I'll be back.

Yelp
I received an email from the owner so here is an update. I stayed here with a friend. It is a very unique hotel (or bungalows). People would probably enjoy the bungalows, but besides the unique bungalows this property does not have much to offer. If you want major privacy, you would probably enjoy this small quite establishment. I personally was disappointed and bored. I think it is way over priced. In fact, the rooms are not worth over $250 a night, tops!

Yelp
Great location, nice property, good bed, bathroom too industrial with too small of one (only) sink. At this price we expected a much better service, the hotel had absolutely no service! Breakfast was very limited, no kitchen to support the breakfast. Overall: very overpriced for what you get and we will not recommend this hotel to any of our friends!

Yelp
We have stayed at Duchamp many happy times. Within walking distance of downtown, it's charming cottages are zen-like in ambiance with a wood burning stove, polished concrete floors and a shower not to be believed. It's easy to wash away all your cares in the elegant simplicity. Our last visit, about a month ago, we met the gracious new owners, Mark and Marie who are full of exciting plans for making Duchamp even more delightful. We look forward to returning. Ry & Suzy Smith

Yelp
My wife and I stayed at the Urban Luxe Loft (which is managed by Duchamp Hotel) this past weekend. It's located right off the main square in Healdsburg and about a 2-2.5 block walk from the Duchamp. The space is really modern, beautiful and built for entertaining! Over 1100 square feet and newly renovated and quite stylish. Comes with a huge open space for living and dining, a kitchenette with fully functioning stove, refrigerator, etc., and an enormous bathroom with an awesome shower. Really a great choice if you're going with a group and looking for one room for everyone to hang out in, have drinks, even enjoy some catering. Only ask of the management team is to include a music system in the loft, either Bluetooth or through the very large flatscreen tv. Having no music in the loft feels a bit contrary to the design and assumed intent of it being used for entertaining. Other than that, everything was top notch!
