Google
Great place with plenty of food and drink options! Last time we visited, we just had drinks and tried the corn ribs — something I hadn’t seen anywhere else. They were delicious, especially the sauce on top, which added a really nice touch. Definitely worth trying!

This is my third time come here to eat the apple tart. It’s very delicious. Really recommend for this dessert.

Historical modern location: a nice break inside an architecture masterpiece! Good food, quiet mood, a real touch of elegant and well designed modernity!

Nice afternoon experience. Good fresh salads and, of course, great apple pie. Attentive service from Jamie made it even better.

Nice selection of sandwiches and small bites. I had the hummus sandwich with courgette on brown bread which was really tasty. The fries were fresh and crunchy as well. The home-made ice Tee is delicious too. Service is welcoming.

Google
Nice place for a early morning breakfast (09:00 am) dish with eggs and spinach and salmon, yummy!! And the orange juice tast sweet and fresh even at the start of a new day! Not important if it comes out of a bottle or is freshly made, it tasted great. The place is clean, and the atmosphere feels a little bit urban, if you are in the neighbourhood....visit!!!

Google
Red velvet cake is really good, same with hot chocolate. Good and fast service and I liked the atmosphere. It’s a bit noisy but for me it’s all part of the general atmosphere of the place. Would recommend if you want some core or a snack.

It is a place that we learned about when we first came to the Netherlands. The environment is very nice. The staff are always attentive. It was very nice to experience the desserts and drinks. I would definitely recommend it.

Yelp
Try the Apple pie! It's what they are known for but also great for a breakfast on the weekends. It's a a place I keep coming back to regularly

Yelp
Best apple pie in Rotterdam. Service is fast and the rest of the food is quite good as well. I'm

Yelp
Got here after a log day of work with a friend. Resturant presentation is nice and gives a cosy vibe some whay noisy suitable for casual no frills dining. Ordered PASTA ARRABIATA , Sea bass sautéed in butter , smoked duck best , and aged cheese bread. The food was amazing , boldly seasoned and fresh. Sea Bass was cooked on a flat plate to perfection the smoked duck was mouth watering however the ARRABIATA lacked the pop and was under seasoned for my liking. The service was friendly and the overall exprience deserves a visit when in Rotterdam.

Yelp
My preferred place to have brunch in Rotterdam!!! Absolutely GREAT! The Apple cake is the best :) One of the entrances is just a shop where you can get the fab cake packed to go!!! Very loungy, spacey ... with different seating options... from the newspaper communal table to the private just for 2. It is an open space old building very Dutch Style decor which I really love. A bit retro 30's deco... very very nice. All the menu is great.... just do not give 5 stars because the service can be very sloppy sometimes.... especially on a busy day or late evening. Good for any occasion.. even just a beer.

Yelp
Simple and fine food. Do not expect elaborated dishes, it's a brasserie and your plate will be served within 15 minutes. The options are not very exotic, but everything you order is of decent quality with decent prices. The Dudok applecake is famous in Rotterdam - and served in several restaurants - but it was not too special. However, there was a large collection of different cakes that looked appealing! Service is friendly and fast, the ambiance overall is very good.

Yelp
I came here for Sunday brunch to try out the famous Dutch pankoek with bacon! I wasn't disappointed and was full until dinner time. The fresh mint tea was needed to wash down the heavy pancake and bacon. The prices are quite affordable too at this busy brunch spot. It's in the middle of all the shopping areas so it's good to walk around afterwards to digest the carbs and fat.

Yelp
I'm always hesitant when I venture to a new country and order a breakfast option. On this occasion, with the signature Dadok breakfast, I was pleasantly surprised to find a good balance of breads, bacon, eggs, sausage, and cheese. In a city, I was warned, was full of less than friendly people Dadok has a very congenial and amiable English speaking staff. Easy to find while walking, reasonably priced, with plenty of seats on a Saturday morning; very much recommended!

Yelp
The passion fruit cheesecake was wonderfully light with a pleasant fruit flavor, and the apple pie was moist and not too sweet. Adding raisins was a nice touch and it paired well with whipped cream.

Yelp
Based on the warme appel taart alone it was really good! Nice spot in the city as well

Yelp
Formerly known for the worst service in town, now one of the nicest places to visit, with very fast service. It's a Brasserie / Grand Café, and within that category I think it deserves 5 stars. The interior is stylish and comfortable. One of my favourite places for lunch. WiFi is excellent, making Dudok a great place to work from; for example at the newspaper table.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere, reasonable prices, great food. My glass of house wine was quite small but it was only 3 EU, after all. You have an option to get a carafe (11) or a bottle. And it was good (I ordered the dry white from Spain). I ordered the friend goat cheese over pumpkin risotto and the risotto was rich in an herbal flavor and the texture was just right. The pumpkin was great too. The staff was friendly and I felt very comfortable despite the culture shock I experienced on my first day in The Netherlands.

Yelp
Yes, it's an institution. Yes, the appeltaart is iconic. Yes, the interior is historic. Certainly, you should come once and take it all in. i love the light-filled interior and the stylish design. The communal table is perfect for a solo snack. The appeltaart, with its whipped cream accompaniment, really is that good. But the service is rushed, and the atmosphere can be hectic on the weekends. You will wait forever for the check. While the servers themselves are perfectly pleasant, they're definitely stretched thin, and it shows.

Yelp
What a cute brasserie! It was a great place to sit, have mint tea and chat with friends. I'd definitely come back!

Yelp
great atmosphere over all. As far as the food goes, I think it's above average. In my opinion it is slightly over rated. Everyone raves about their apple cake, but I've had better. It is a great place to chill and have a good food with a group of friends. However, if you're looking for really good bake goods and cakes, I would suggest Koekela over Doedok.

Yelp
Lovely dinner in this restaurant with reasonable price. They even had the seasonal white asparagus we've been looking for. Service was slow though, probably because they were understaffed. It's like you could never get the attention of the staff without trying real hard to keep looking around or even waving your hands.

Yelp
I love this place! They have the best apple pie!!!! Shhh!! Don't tell anyone back in the states I said so! Heheheheh

Yelp
Hate love relationship with Dudok. When its crowded service is bad. Make sure you get there when there is not a lot people around. Food has always been good except once but I ordered outside their procedures! Make sure you taste their breakfast, lunch and apple pie with REAL whipped cream. Good WiFi also and you can read the newspaper as well if you like. Coffee is not that good but wakes you up as well in the morning. I recommend eating dinner elsewhere.

Yelp
We stopped by around 3pm. The place was packed with people having late lunch, having a drink during shopping and having a coffeebreak. The apple pie is very rich (a lot of butter and sugar involved). So only plan the apple pie stop in your itinerary on a 'hungry' moment. We had a heavy stomach for quite some time. We expected too much of it. Should have shared a portion with two. Dudok's apple pie can also be found all around town (we saw it at Central Station and Restaurant Bazar). My wife had the cheesecake which was fresh in taste and probably a better option not being really hungry. Service was quick and pleasant. As it was crowded it was quite loud. As the floor is of oneven bricks it's not easy to sit stable.

Yelp
Funny thing is that the owner of Koekela is the former patisserier of Dudok ;-) This place is an institution in Rotterdam and was at the time the first of its kind in The Netherlands. Service and food could be better, but always a pleasure to visit.

Yelp
The appeltaart or apple pie is one of their signature dishes and should be a must try if you visit.

Yelp
Dudok is a pleasant and place to have lunch. And although it's busy the service is fast, friendly and efficient. Enough said..
