Duetto Pizza and Gelato

Great for tourists because they offer many interesting varieties of pizza by the slice. Of course, you can order a full pizza, too. Plus, quite a few flavors of gelato, too... so, that's a great combination! The store manager (or maybe he was the owner) was extremely friendly and took time to tell me details about some of the different types of pizza they had. At $6 for my slice of pizza, it was an excellent lunch bargain.

OMG!! REAL PIZZA actually does exist in Florida!! 🤩 Who knew we'd go all the way to Key West and find someone originally from our neighboring town in NJ? Then it turns out he makes EXCELLENT pizza 🍕 & amazingly decadent homemade Gelato as well! Needless to say this became a favorite takeout spot during our 4-day stopover in an impromptu FL road trip! It's a little place with limited indoor standing room and two cafe tables outside in case you want a quick bite on site. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! A+++ Happy Travels! 😁👍

Absolutely loved it! The pizza was hot, cheesy, and full of flavor! One of the best I’ve had in a long time. Staff was super welcoming too!

Pizza was really good. They have option for one slice or whole pizza. You can get half pie for stuffed pizza. We tried stuffed pizza, half pie. Which was around $19-20. Fare prize. Small place. There are 4-5 tables to seat. 2 tables outside restaurant, so you can have pizza while enjoying outside street view. Service was good. But can not swap toppings.

Nice selection of pizza by the slice or you can get a whole pizza. Ice cold gelato really fresh flavors. Easy In & out

Wow! What a hidden gem in Key West. We didn't try the pizza because we weren't that hungry but our girls LOVED the gelato. They make it every day at the store, fresh. The staff was phenomenal - the tall gentleman with curly hair was so friendly. 10/10 highly recommend.

The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was ok. The pizza was simply "OK." This may just be my personal preference, but the pepperoni pizza that I ordered tasted way too salty, and it was far too greasy. I enjoy tasting all of the flavors in a pizza, and when I can barely taste the tomato pizza sauce and can only taste the grease and salt, that's a no go for me. Also, the $24 that I spent on the 16" pizza was far too high of an asking price.

This is a great local pizza spot in Key West! A must visit when in the area. The restaurant is small (4 tables in total) and packed with delicious options. We had the philly cheesesteak stuffed pizza. Just perfect filled with steak, onions, and green peppers. We were too full to try a dessert option but saw a gentleman who ordered a pistachio gelato and he said it was awesome. Soooo worth the drive! The staff was very nice and super welcoming. We will be returning on our next visit to Key West!

3 workers standing at counter & not 1 asked to help us. I spoke up & said what we wanted. He never said thanks or bye, but I still gave hhim a 15% tip. He still did not say thanks. Gelato great, but show some courtesy. Every place else in Key West has been so friendly, not bumps on a log like Duetto pizza & gelato.

If you're looking gif a quick bite- this is a good option. We would have liked to try the gelato but it was too cold when we were there. The pizza was better than average and I could see if we ordered a whole pie it would have been better fresh. Overall a solid 4.

Awesome pizza and gelato would highly recommend. Limited seats but we sat and ate as a lot of the orders were carry out. Definitely worth the stop.

Found this on yelp when in Key West. There are other pizza places around and across the street but this was great pizza. Quick, by the slice was still fresh. Cheese great flavor crust and sauce. I can see why it's highly rated.

The,best, frickin pizza ever! No lie, everything is handmade, the wife makes the meatballs and they are amazing. The bread used for sandwiches must be handmade. Don't get me started on the pizza crust, OMG! SO GOOD. We also ordered the oofah pizza with tasty ricotta. This place is a must try.

Paul is the coolest owner, and his pizza is great too. The soppressata pizza is amazing. Located downtown so you can grab a slice while you bar hop. They also deliver to New Town which is rare for a downtown spot. The gelato is pretty good, not like they make in Italy but pretty close. Not a lot of seating inside, but seats outside to give you time to finish your slice.

This is such a great pizza place! I went a few times during my trip to key west! The pizza is solid! It has lots of flavor, and crunch! I will miss this pizza. Staff was friendly and it was super fast to get the pizza. There are a couple tables inside and outside. They also have boxes for to go. They have bottled drinks in the fridge too! They are open till midnight on weekends and that makes me happy! Sometimes you just want a slice at night! They have lots of flavors and I would Definitely recommend not passing this place!

Great quick slice of pizza, I got a plain cheese slice and a slice of caprese , the cheese was fantastic and the caprese was great, I almost pedaled back across the island and to get another! 100% would recommend, and definitely going back

After eating seafood at a seafood restaurant, we find ourselves hungry a couple of hours later. Probably the best tasting Pizza by the Duval Street area. No pictures unfortunately, since we were so hungry. Pricing is very affordable and the pizza was well sized.

Best food in key west Florida! It's a little nook in the wall restaurant that has good authentic pizza. Out of all the places we been to in Florida this was my favorite pizza spot.

Best pizza I've had, not just in KW, but anywhere - ever! Would give 10 stars if I could. Staff is very friendly and the pizza is awesome. No frills, just a classic small interior parlor. Wife and I went one night and brought the fam back the next day for more. We tried 5 different kinds and all were superb, can't go wrong whatever you order. This will be a staple every time we go back to KW.

This is a good establishment for a quick dine and dash. Had dinner here with the family (5 of us). Unfortunately, this location doesn't have much room for any parties of more than four. The pizza was great though, decided to eat a slice indoors and order a pie to go. The spicy salami is a must (toppings: salami, pepperoni, tomato, mushroom, and cheese). Definitely thought this twist was a good combo and highly recommend. The staff was great and pizza delicious.

Great great pizza! Small pizza/ Gelato place with no frills. We visited for a couple slices of pie. All the pizzas looked great and it was a challenge to choose just two. Paul the owner is front and center making sure customers are happy. Pizza crust is out of this world...honestly I have no idea how they make a pizza this good. You will definitely not be disappointed...Buono!

By far, the best pizza I have had on the island in forty years. It's so good! I stopped for two slices every night before heading back to my hotel. The Crust is thick and crispy. The toppings are generous. Bonus - It's right next to Tattoos & Scars Saloon.

If you are looking for a good pizza place in keywest , try Duetto pizza, its really good highly recommended. Good service , ambiance is good. Its a small pizza place but its worthit!!

Delicious and quick delivery. We arrived in Key West and due to extended flight delays missed our dinner reservation at another restaurant and our hotel restaurant was closed for the evening. We were exhausted and hungry and decided to order in. We chose the pie with artichoke, ham, black olives and mushrooms and an antipasto salad. The pizza was delicious from the thin, perfectly chewy but not undercooked crust to the quality toppings. The salad was pretty good, too, with crispy greens and nice tomato slices.Definitely recommend this place. Also, surprisingly reasonable prices.

Came here because most places were closed. Best pizza ever! Delicious! If you ever need a late night place for a quick snack - this is the place to go!

Their pizza is good but the star is their gelato! OMG! Beyond amazing. The meatball app is also delicious! Have only done delivery.

Was in Key West for a recent Spring getaway trip. First night in town and was looking for a quick bite before hitting the town for drinks and people watching. Had heard good things about this New York / New Jersey style slice shop and had to give them a try. We ordered a whole pizza pie topped with sausage and fresh mushrooms along with a garden salad. Salad came out quickly, so we dug in while they made our pizza. The pie was plenty large, with super-fresh ingredients, excellent sauce and cheese and a perfectly charred crust as well! Leftovers were great the next day, during our snorkeling adventure up to Horseshow Beach,

Excellent pizza joint. Friendly staff. The slices are super quick and tasty. Try the Lasagna pizza. Unique and delicious. Wonderful gelato too. Will be a must-visit for us every time.

While I was busy enjoying seafood in Key West, my wife wanted to stop for dinner for her that wasn't seafood. We chose Duetto Pizza and Gelato so she could have some pizza and I could have key lime gelato. After surveying my options, I ended up getting a lemon gelato shake instead while she got a slice of pepperoni pizza. She enjoyed the slice of pizza. I thought the shake was a little weak on lemon flavor, but not bad. They were very busy the night we visited so I was told that they did not have time to make other pizzas to sell by the slice. That was disappointing as the pictures I've seen of their stuffed pizzas made them look very good.

The best pizza. I have been to Naples, Italy and this is the closest to the pizza I experienced there. Such a wonderful place and not overpriced like all the other places!! This is a must visit eatery!!!

One of the best pizza places I've ever been to. Such a great ambience with the music, staff and seating. They had great gelato and pizza as well as an amazing antipasto salad! There were roosters outside lol.

We stopped in here to grab a slice of pizza for dinner. The staff was very kind- the manager/owner even how we liked our pizza as we were finishing up. It's a crisp NY style pizza with a perfect ratio of cheese, dough, and toppings. I would come back here next time I'm in Key West!

Decent pizza place in Key West. Handful of tables inside, it's casual and fast food like, don't expect a nice white tablecloth. If you want a cheap meal that's open semi late (midnight on weekends) this is a great place to grab a slice of pizza for like $5-6. Gelato will run you another $7-8, same with a salad. My pepperoni pizza slice was good typical NY pizza, where they have it already cooked and then they fire it up in the oven for a few minutes to give it to you hot and sizzling. Caesar salad was fresh enough and a half salad was a nice size to split between two people as a nice side salad. Service was very friendly, really appreciate the guy behind the counter. The gelato was good and creamy but needed slightly more flavor. Also was a bit overpriced. I got pistachio and peanut butter and I think I liked the peanut butter better because the flavor was stronger. Overall, this isn't a place I would plan to go to if you have a limited number of meals to eat in Key West with lots of excellent restaurants around, but if you find yourself hungry for a slice of pizza without spending a lot of money or wasting a lot of time sitting down at a nice restaurant, this place is great.

It was okay, nothing special and no need to go out of my way to return, but yes decent. The options are not much. And the flavor was so so. The staff was pleasant

I wish I could give this place a ZERO. Got back to our hotel after picking up our order when we arrived we notice we did not have our waters and Pellegrino's. We called the pizza place to tell him and the manager's response was .... what do you want from me?!?? So it is okay for me to pay 10+ dollars for something I didn't receive and he pocked? It was late we were jetlagged so I stopped my husband from going back -

2 hours for a pizza delivery on a Wednesday afternoon. When received it was cold. Just NOT acceptable on a 2 X 4 island.

We ordered a large pizza with jalapeños, mushrooms and artichoke and it was SO good. It was not a very big large but it made up in flavor.

Checked out Duetto for the second time today, and it did not disappoint! So far we've only ordered the slices of pizza but I'm sure that the whole pies are fantastic as well. I've seen several people go back through the line a second time after they finish their pizza to order dessert. The gelato does look pretty tasty so it's not surprising. I'll have to give it a shot in the near future.

Definitely not a 4.5 star restaurant, paid for two sandwiches and they never made them. I guess they figured we would forget about our order.

Ordered online. Picked it up. Cheese & Meatball pizza was so good. Avoid the lines and order ahead.

Randomly we went to this place while walking on duval street. They claim as tripadvisor top 10 pizzeria and after trying their pizza and gelato, I would give my vote as well. We took pepperoni slice and it was damn juicy. Thin crust and super cheesy. Gelatos were good as well.
