Amazing food with good price! Good house beer. The barman is super cool and created the drinks we ordered perfectly. Staff is amazing, and music is on point. Super recommend!!

I'm really upset with this bar. It used to be amazing, The food the last 3 times has been God Awful .... I'm gonna leave my old post up..... just to show the way it used to be. And the bartender even told me before he charged me 44 dollars that they had an issue before me..... They should not have gotten rid of the staff they had before.. Just odd how fast it changed.......Love catching them on wing and fish and chip night, Can't complain about anything I've had there.. Really nice place. I just have a feeling some people have run out on their bill there. But the food is great, I will say this tavern is definitely worth a visit, you will wanna keep going back.

I’ve been a regular at this bar and always appreciated the great management and especially the amazing Brazilian girl on the night staff — she’s a star. But I had a really disappointing experience recently during a Monday afternoon visit with a server named Paola. When the weather got hot, I was served a warm beer. I politely asked to exchange it, but Rosa was extremely rude. She refused to listen, walked away, and even told me I had no right to ask for a colder beer. It wasn’t about bar policy — it was about basic respect and customer service. I’ve never been treated like that here before, and it was really upsetting. The bill was over $100, switching the beer and please the customer goes a long way, being rude just makes life and service harder, I was planning on staying for at least a couple more hours. Sad service for a great place.

Google
Good with special requests, great tasting burger but the fries were tough as nails. Not soft and on the beefier side as the other review photos would appear to suggest.

Google
This is a great place to go if you're looking for a pub style bar in the front, a live band downstairs, or to shoot some pool upstairs. Prices/selection for drinks are really good. I will be back for sure.

Google
We stopped by Duffy’s for a drink, and I honestly have no idea how this place is still operating as a bar. First off, the service was actually decent — our server was friendly and doing her best. But when we asked what bottled beer they had, she said they only have a few draft options. Weird, but okay. Then we asked about wine. Nope, none. Canned spritzers? None. Cider? One option that tasted like straight-up sugar. Someone in our group got a local beer, and I ordered a vodka soda with lime — it came without lime because they were out. So, basically vodka and water. At a bar. No lime. No wine. No options. It’s like the place is allergic to having drinks.

Google
Fantastic spot. Have been here many a time. The staff are always warm and welcoming. Pints always icy cold. Food is stellar. When out for a walk it's usually a stop on the way back home. Great patio during the summer months.

Google
very nice, beautiful establishment with reasonable prices and a delicious menu. I am very dissatisfied with the work of the waiters. They do their job very poorly, there are problems with placing the order. After placing my order, the waiter forgot part of the order and I had to go to the bar again and place the entire order again. Special thanks to the bartender for the good quality and fast service. bartender⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Yelp
came here to see one of my friends bands perform, and im a bit surprised that I wasn't able to come to this venue previously. This is strictly a review on the venue and the atmosphere, I had zero food or drinks. My friend came here to perform during the time period when the raptors were in the playoffs and they had a stage time of 8pm, cool! Or so I thought, the venue actually delayed my friend and his band from playing because they had the raptors on the big screen, and the big screen in the basement happened to be just in front of the stage. Sadly because of this, the concert was delayed for two hours, which I didn't mind as I was able to catch up with my friend and his significant other. After the two hours was up and the raptors finished up the game (they won without overtime), but the problem was, as soon as the band was done, literally 75% of the venue cleared out, I laughed to myself over this. The venue is really good for sound, the small narrow space really adds to it acoustically. I really cant wait to come back in the future for another show. The bathrooms are a bit of a trip, they are in the basement and have a very low headspace, which for tall people could be a problem. Lots of parking options at this venue, as you have on street parking, side lots just north of the venue, and multiple side streets as well. Transit options are the lansdowne subway station on the bloor danforth line, but my recommendation would be to exit from the side of the platform for emerson avenue, as then it's a much shorter walk outside. Cant wait to come back and I will be trying some food.

Yelp
We had a big group, we had big appetites, we had big expectations and everything was not what we expected. This place is pretty huge inside and there was tons of space, staff and food for lunch. The fact we came in early and the place was relatively empty made us think our food was going to come out 0-100 real quick. In fact it was slow motion for me as Juvenile would say because we waited almost an hour and a half for our food to come out. For an empty restaurant and a group of about 10 people, that's kinda weak. When the food arrived, it was greasy, wet and just didn't meet the expectations of anyone on the team. I personally ordered the corned beef and sauerkraut sandwich, which I believe was a special not seen on their regular menu. Yeah, I like to live on the edge like that. When it came out, it seemed as if it was covered in a layer of grease and the corned beef, was straight out of a loblaws cold cuts freezer. The fries were decent, but they only gave me a kid sized portion. The server was nice and polite, and probably only the bright side of the meal. We all left, hungry, tired from waiting and extremely late for work. Sorry Duffy, we won't be coming backy...

Yelp
I have been coming for long time now and love this place. Allan and Joel are amazing and friendly. Aldo is great to have a conversation with. Recently they hired new staff and they are rude. If you wanna order something you need to go inside from patio because these new servers come out rarely. Might change my goto bar since allan and joel left from here.

Yelp
I love when you find some random place you had no intention of visiting and it turns out to be a gem! Was looking for somewhere to go kill some time before going to see a show down the street and stumbled across this place. Walked in to a kinda shabby place that smelled old and musty and thought yup, this is a good one. Decent selection of beer, casual friendly service and good selection of pub food. It was a Tuesday and happened to be $5 a pound wing day so of course had to give it a go. They were good sized, not to sloppy and quite tasty. Ordered fries and a side of gravy and sadly had to drop a star cuz the fries were cold. I loved the vibe of this place and would recommend it if you're strolling around in the area. I will definately make an effort to return.

Yelp
Personally preferred the OLD Duffy's.. Late 90's it was a true DIVE bar. Lot of dealers, drug issues, pinball machines, cheaper/skunky beer. Owners would change over every few years. Peter was the best server you could meet (Fri and Sat nights). Jimmy the best bartender, EVER. The area has gentrified; the drugs/pros pretty much all evaporated into hipsters and other boring people. The old sign was fantastic and unique, now it's an average pub, the interesting regulars all gone. Nothing special anymore.

Yelp
While walking around the BIG on Bloor Festival, Gord and I had a late lunch/early supper today at Duffy's Tavern. We like pubs and neither of us had been there before. Gord and I split an order of macaroni & cheese. It was bland and dry. Plus the bread crumbs weren't cooked in the cheese. The crostini was left out (though it's part of the description). Gord and I both ordered wings. Gord got his dry with Jack Daniel's Chili Peach Sauce on the side (it was good). I ordered mine with medium sauce and they were good. There was six wing for $8 but they were big wings. The service wasn't great. I know it was busy because of the festival but they should have staffed up better. We sat at the bar and at first the bartender was fairly attentive. But after a while it was hard to get her attention to order another drink and something to eat. Once we were finished eating, our finished plates sat in front of us for about a half hour (they should have been taken away so much sooner). After I asked for our bill, it took about 15 minutes to get it. If we are in the 'hood, we'll check it out again.

Yelp
Duffy's -- a great place. Friendly, relaxing, and Dave is GREAT! A bar where you can feel at home. Great patios and cheap! With so many bar's gone it was great to find this one!

Yelp
So I wanted to order some wings and try something new so I decided to order from Duffys because it usually pops up on my uber eats app. I ordered the pound of wings which comes with the veggies. The reason I gave it a 3 star is because although the wings were good, I ordered HOT wings. Now normally when you order hot wings it's hot right? Yeah not sure if i was given the wrong order or not but they weren't hot at all. Sadly was disappointed in that. Other then that the wings were cooked fine.

Yelp
Great place... Good beer, cool casual atmosphere. Ordered wings and fries and a couple of beers. Beer was cold. Wings were good. Unfortunately the fries were cold. Not a total loss but it loses a star. I'll def be back and I'm looking forward to checking out some live entertainment there.. looked like a great stage.

Yelp
Food tasted like it came straight from the freezer - far below average. Service was friendly but very slow. We had an appetizer to share and two mains, none of which we enjoyed. Bill came to about 50$ (no drinks) which is pricy for pub food in general. Disappointed and certainly won't be back.

Yelp
I came here with some friends a couple of times for drinks. Service is friendly and they have a decent selection of beers. There is live music on the weekends (or at least there has been every time I was there). If you're not into live music, you can sit in the back, where there's a lowered area with yet another stage and a raised area with pool tables. Basically, it's a split-level bar. Both times I was there, the music was really good and played at an acceptable level so you can talk. We ordered wings last time around and they were very very tasty. Crunchy, juicy and a good size. We ended up ordering another round, even though we were just "having a snack". This is a neat and very casual spot with no pretension, which is apparently getting rarer and rarer for the area. Check it out!

Yelp
Great vibe, great music, great drinks- couldn't ask for anything more perfect! The food is homemade with love and from scratch. Had the meatball at Bobby's recommendation and wow!! We also had deep fried ravioli and deep fried pickles- can't get enough!! Beers on tap are varied so you really do have a choice! Live music almost every night. It seems like a local for a lot of people- lucky summ-a-na's.

Yelp
Place is a bit of a dive bar, but I enjoy dive bars. Got the fish and chips. Fish wasn't crazy fresh, but was a good portion and tasted fine. The fries were great as well. For some reason their tartar sauce was fantastic? Unusual thing to highlight, but it was just great. If you're looking for super healthy food/vegetables, this isn't the place. If you want some drunk comfort food, come on down.

Donna M.

Yelp
Did a Skip the Dishes order during bad weather. Caesar salad - croutons like cement, teeth breaking bacon bits, chopped romaine and not enough dressing to cover the mess. Chicken club - standard club sandwich but bread was not toasted enough and was a bit soggy. Fries were ice cold and clearly had been reheated in the oil 2-3 times and were inedible. All this for $50 with the delivery fees, tip and taxes!

Yelp
Great service, tons of seating. It's a nice place to hang out with a group of friends. There are pool tables at the back of the bar. The menu is typical pub food. The fries are good and the drinks are cheap. I wish they put the volume up for sports games. I'll have to come back and check out their live music though to see if it's good. I would definitely go back.

Yelp
This has been the absolute best bar I ever visited in Toronto! The friendliness of everyone in there was so heartfelt. The food was spectacular and, of course, the beer selection was wonderful. There are many places to have a drink and eat in Toronto, but when you have the combination of everything Duffy's has, in my opinion it is my absolute favorite place. I found this place by accident, just walking in because I liked the look of it, but after leaving there, I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. I was visiting relatives in town and was hanging in the Bloor St. West area. We ordered wings and a few other appetizers and I mean I couldn't just call it 'bar food'. It was just delicious! The local beers on tap were excellent as well as I tried a few of those. They have a stage for live music, but I wasn't there for that and the decor is awesome. They have an old school jukebox and a lot of cool pictures. The best part was the service though. Just the friendliest staff, and everyone was there waiting on hand and knee and it was SUPER BUSY... I have been to many many bars over the years in Toronto, and this one far exceeds them all!! I will make sure to come back here every time I am in Toronto! Thank you Harrison for being such a gracious host...

Yelp
Sometimes you just feel like a casual midweek drink in a cheap, grungy, divey bar, without the pretentiousness you get at bars in the financial district. If that's what you are up for, you should check out Duffy's Tavern. Drinks and food are easy on the wallet ~ I think my bottle of domestic set me back $3.50 (the price of a soft drink in some restaurants). We had some chicken wings to share - $5 for 10 wings Wednesday special - that weren't great but our expectations weren't that high anyway. I like that the wings were regular sized ~ unnatural behemoth wings freak me out. Our wings were apparently cajun flavour (dry rub) but we didn't taste anything cajun about them... they were quite overdone and dried out, but ok I guess. God bless the waitress who brought us a side of hot sauce without us even asking. Either she read my mind or knew how bland they were. Anyway, those little things count! There is no quicker way to my heart than hot sauce. Great service by our waitress. Duffy's tavern is not some amazing, bucket-list bar that you must attend, but it is comfortable, friendly and unassuming. Adjust your expectations accordingly and order saucier wings and you will enjoy yourself. It was perfect for what I was feeling today.

Yelp
As a world class ex MMA fighter, full time security expert and a bicycle specialist on the side, I have seen my share of 5 star restaurants/taverns/taphouses/bistros/grills/pubs/eateries. I was mentoring some youths at the bike maintenance shop up the street on Bloor and after a 2 hour lesson in maintenance and componentry I volunteered to show the youths over 19 this classic tavern/restaurant and now also a Diner, Our experience was full of ups and downs. Food- We ordered a various selection of food items and all were of average quality. One of the youths I am mentoring, Danny, was inquiring about the diner and told it wasn't open. He wanted a hot dog in a realistic diner setting with a milk shake so we could take a photo for his mom on instagram he said. Danny was upset and told us he no longer had an appetite. I had the wings and I must say they were good quality for a pub wing. I would say that the food is 3 stars out of a possible 5. Ambiance- We were sitting in a booth and the bar has nice decor. I was approached by a man who asked me if I was an MMA fighter and I told him I was. Soon a small group had surrounded our booth while I regaled them with stories of my tumultuous career. I was then told a wrestler was in the bar. Teddy "the Outlaw" Marshall sat in and introduced himself. As members of the industry we kept our conduct at a professional level. Two of the youths I mentor were thrilled to meet this legend and we took a few photos for Danny's instagram. I would give the ambiance 4 stars out of a possible 5. Bathrooms- I was concerned about the conditions in the billiard area which led to the bathrooms. A group of local ruffians were cavorting in the premises and one of the youths, Martin, informed us he had been verbally abused with profane language in the bathroom area and the taunting continued in the billiard area about his genitalia. Due to the uncomfortable setup of the bathroom area and the troublesome youths lurking about, I would give the Bathroom area 1 star out of a possible 5. Overall I won't be returning with my mentorship group because I felt that many negative distractions were inside Duffy's. A not so subtle and uppity lady had her thong underwear strap rising about her pants to my dismay and was making obscene gestures to her companion. I may come back with a few of my MMA associates to host a meet and greet but at this stage, I am not sure.

Yelp
We were back for a drink last night, and ordered the nachos from their new Mexicana Menu. It was the only thing that appeared to be gluten free, so I was excited! When a staff member dropped it off, he asked us to let him know what we thought, which is fine by me as I clearly have an opinion on everything. Sadly, halfway through eating I realized that the base wasn't paper, but a flour tortilla. DANG - contamination city!! So I had a word to our server, and asked her to send over the cook. He came over and we explained, and they were SO AWESOME about the situation. They were really apologetic about the situation, and were really eager to a) take the feedback and b) make amends. They thanked us for bringing it to their attention, and offered to make us a new batch (which we wouldn't accept - my partner had already eaten over half and it seemed unfair). In all, three staff members came by and dealt with it, and stopped by over the course of the night to make sure the rest of our time there was pleasant and happy. Now that's service!!!

Yelp
Entered the bar and waited ten minutes for a barman or server to present themselves. Barman finally emerged from the back. We made eye contact. Instead of coming over to see me, he chose to clean a table, despite the fact that the place is nearly empty. This bar has been fighting an uphill battle for a long time, you'd come to figure that hiring decent service staff would be a top priority. Got so irritated I left before the barman finally decided to come over. Really starting to loathe Toronto's food 'scene'.

Yelp
Honestly, ive walked by Duffys for a long time as i live quite close to the area and always thought it looked interesting. With that being said, ive walked in with a friend TWICE now and sat down for a good 30 minutes and walked out with absolutely nothing. I wouldnt be able to tell you how the service was because we never got any! Twice! This place seems good but its really discomforting to walk into a restaurant and see others anjoy their time while my friend and i awkward sit there for 30 minutes waiting to be served.
google avatar

Lolly L.

Yelp
dive bar/pub to the max I get why some people rate it so low but they must have been expecting something else. If you go in knowing its a dark pub-style environment then you can love it. A) the live music always gets me. I'll be thinking about where to go in the neighbourhood and Duffy's will win solely based on the live music aspect. B) the deep-fried ravioli is so awesome. Delicious cheesy ravioli deep fried and then served with marinara sauce, yes please. Deep fried pickles with dill sauce, more yes. And the nachos are MASSIVE and delicious and come with 4 sauces (sour cream, guacamole, salsa, and black bean dip)... They changed over the kitchen about a year ago and did some major renovations too so I'd ignore any review that's more than 7 months old. Want some beer and yummy, gluttonous bar food and ALWAYS live music? Come here.
google avatar

Chris P.

Yelp
Duffy's is...well...fine...I guess. It's your regular neighbourhood watering hole. There's nothing fancy, no gimmicks, just come in, grab a drink and hang out with your friends. The booze is cheap and they have a good selection on tap with some daily specials here and there.
google avatar

Jared R.

Yelp
Decent special on PBR and interesting atmosphere. Decent spot for a pint!

T G.

Yelp
Greeted by strong odor of industrial cleaner, whole place smelled like a urinal cake. Even though the place was pretty much empty, took 20 minutes for waitress to take our order. Two burgers, what could go wrong, right? After waiting about 40 minutes, I was delivered the driest, saddest burger I've had in recent memory. The bun was burned, and the fries were cold, most likely reheated leftovers from a bigger batch. Ketchup was some overly sweet off brand. When we had choked down what we could, we sat and waited another 20 minutes to pay. It's almost like this place just wants to be awful. Maybe they should spend more time working on their food and customer service, and less time trying to make the place look "official" by hanging pointless chotchkie shit on the wall. 1 star for the Budweiser bottle I got that they somehow didn't screw up.
google avatar

Michelle H.

Yelp
Another neighborhood pub. Mediocre pub food and cheap mini pints. Nothing too special about this place. Usually quite a bit of seating available here and it is easy on the wallet. It's a good standby when in doubt and not wanting to venture too far.

Sarah D.

Yelp
I ordered the burrito and was very disappointed. There was barely any meat and it was filled with large pieces of soggy lettuce. The guacamole in it was not fresh. It was dark green starting to turn bad. The tortilla chips on the side were hard and stale. Poor quality and overpriced.

Moris R.

Yelp
With Duffy's it seems there is no in between, either people love it or hate it. I love it. They have my beer, cheap wings, decent bar food, all I need to catch a Raptors game. Service is a little slow, but I know this and never go there expecting to be rushed. I like the staff, not the quickest but they will get to you. Good crowd, nothing pretentious in this place.
google avatar

Sandis O.

Yelp
Have you heard people use the expression "lipstick on a pig?" There's not enough lipstick in the world to give this place a positive review. I've given it a few chances too; hoping to be able to say that they deserve to thrive because of their long history in the area. History is the only thing Duffy's has going for it, but that's not enough. Though the building itself has good bones, Duffy's is completely lacking a soul. Rude service, bad food, bad music, Won't be back again.
google avatar

Leeor J.

Yelp
This place ain't half bad. Your basic pub fare and reasonable enough beer choices. I like the booths along the wall. Went in there randomly on a saturday night. Between a decent poutine, a short bar brawl (enjoyed at a safe distance), and some acceptable cover band playing Hendrix - wasn't a bad night overall. Some of my friends ordered some of the other food off the menu: burgers, wings and some french dip. All reported the food was decent, but nothing mind blowing. There was something interesting about their nachos - but I can't remember anymore what it was. One strange thing about his place is the size of their beer glasses. Not quite pint size. Found that somewhat annoying given the prices are the same as everywhere else.

James G.

Yelp
Went here for a lonely sad man's beer and the young bartender who goes by the name Nico was playing delightful music, turned my day around for sure.
google avatar

Neil C.

Yelp
Party of 12, orders wrong 5 times. Sent back and uncooked. Staff was apologetic but lost our business very quickly as we decided to move our group to a new venue. Cool atmosphere for a beer, food is overpriced and tastes microwaved.
google avatar

Bougey B.

Yelp
I would not make any effort to come back as nothing here stood out for me, but this place was not too bad. We had a terrible server....she was super slow, and we ended up asking another server to help us. Food was ok. Nothing outstanding. Their fries are rather good, though. Not your box-standard McCain fries. Prices are lower than other pub prices, especially the ones downtown (obviously).

Leo R.

Yelp
I like the decor of the front section, but the vibe of the pool section and downstairs is pretty grungy. The poutine is great, and honestly all the food I've had there has been fine, just nothing to rave about. They really need to update their drink menu though because half of the beers I asked for, they no longer served. Our server was very polite and courteous, but messed up drink orders sometimes( he had a bad cold though, so I think he deserves a little understanding for that). Overall, I would go there again. But it really sucks having to sit at the back tables and not the nice front section of the bar, feels like an entirely different restaurant. Also, the band they had playing downstairs was ridiculously loud and bad. Like, my friends and I were wondering if they were being so bad on purpose or something haha. Does Duffys not screen their live performers?
google avatar

Steven M.

Yelp
After seeing the show, Restaurant Take Over, I came to the conclusion that Duffy is an ungrateful douche bag! I see that you're only a 3.5 star Restaurant, and I'm sure its cause of your shitty attitude. I wouldn't visit this place if I were paid to. Let me help the community out by giving you my rating. :) Cheers
google avatar

Elle R.

Yelp
Overall, I really like it here! It's a fun atmosphere with live music every night which is cool. It had a nice set up w booths for seating. Service was fast and friendly. They have great deals for pitchers and drinks. I love the back where they have fooseball and pool tables which they charge by hour about 10 dollars per table. It has a diveish feel, and very old fashioned look to it. Only cons really were they lost out bill which took about ten to refund it and that when we got the bill they couldn't split it because it was busy, ok. Then the owner refused to let us use cards to pay "because it charges them twice". So he'd rather we use the cash machine which I charges us. Hmm. Kinda annoying took us about half hour to pay because he refused to be charged by using a card and wanted us to be when he lost the bill in the first place.

Yelp
We stopped in here for lunch. There were a handful of other people in there. Service was ok (if not a little abrupt). The food was mediocre at best. Frozen flat fish fillets in a pub for fish and chips? Are you serious? My one friend enjoyed her sandwich a little more than my meal. Absolutely lost me at no refill on fountain pop. Cheap and poor business decision. Basically costs you nothing but keeps people ordering if they have a drink. I won't be back.

Yelp
Duffys is located a couple blocks down from where I live so I have given this place more then a few chances and have been disappointed time and time again. Not only does the kitchen close erratically (when it says it's open until 2 everyday)but I have also ordered the same salad 3 times and each time have been given a different variation. The staff never make an attempt to engage or show any excitement to make experience pleasurable. It's a shame because a good dive bar with a late night menu is just what this area needs.
google avatar

hangover n.

Yelp
Sure you can go to 3 speed down the street, and that'l be fine, but you should really start your night at Duffy's. Conveniently located on the same block as the cash for gold store, Duffy's is a classic dive in the best sense of the word. Personally i like to avoid live music whenever possible, but if you're into that, they have it in spades.

Eva D.

Yelp
Had lunch here over the weekend. We were a group of 6 in an empty diner and our food took over an hour to come out. Burgers were dry, caesar salads tasted funky and sandwiches were caked with mayo. For the cost, the other food items were decent at best. Wouldn't come back.

Sarah B.

Yelp
INCONSISTENT is how I would describe Duffy's. They are always in and out of kitchen staff. Sometimes the mac and cheese is amazing, other times it tastes like cat vomit sprinkled with cardboard. Music on thursdays is quite good, but weekend rock shows are filled with under aged kids and it is hard on the hearing of anyone older than 30. Especially when trying to have a relaxing pub dinner at 7:30pm. There never seems to be security at their events. Even at thrasher shows. I have witnessed at least two fights, and have since stopped giving this establishment my money. They often run out of booze and there are fruit flies everywhere. Beware of the wings... check to make sure they are cooked all the way through. Oh, and the emergency exit doesnt open! The last time i was there it seemed to be screwed shut!

Yelp
This bar is located right by my work so I occasionally meet a friend after my shift for a drink and/or snack. The wait staff is always friendly and helpful. The food is what you would expect from a bar, I usually split the nachos or deep fried pickles. There are 3 different stages for live music, and are always showcasing a variety of musicians. There's a patio that leads to the street, though they do not yet have a liquor licence for that area (someone forgot to do the paperwork - haha!). The last time I was there, we sat by the patio, and a fly flew into a half-empty pint and the bartender replaced the drink with a fresh and clean one.

Yelp
This was second time coming to Duffy's Tavern. The first time, our server was really slow and out of it but the food was not bad, and we live close by so we figured it was worth another shot on a weekend night. We waited for a very long time for mediocre food, flat pop and beer in a dirty glass. We waited so long for our server to come back, that my sister tried to go pay at the bar. She asked for a glass of water (as no one ever came back to offer us other drinks, which we would have definitely ordered) and the woman behind the bar barked at her saying "One glass, two, three," with her voice getting progressively louder, as if it is somehow shameful to ask for water....um, ok. They also don't have debit, so bring cash or use your credit card. But save yourself the time and effort, because the service is crap, and the food is meh. There are plenty of other places to eat in the Bloordale 'hood. Honourable mention to the diner attached to it, also Duffy's for their brunches, but that's about it.

Yelp
I LOVE this place! Santino, Amber and Julia are the people who usually serve us when we go. THEY ARE AWESOME PEOPLE! The beer here is so GOOD! The food is great! The diner next door is impeccable! GET THE BURGER! TRY THE PIZZAS! If not for the food, or for the beer, then go for the music. This is a music bar and it is wickedly good music too!

Yelp
Nice little après-work spot. Some great weekday specials. Your basic pub food, quite a few fried options, including one of my favorite fried pickles. Good music selection, the interior is a bit dark but nice casual decor.

Yelp
Had cheeseburgers with regular and poutine style fries, and a pitcher of Goose. All delicious. Live music was great, and so was service.
