Duke Romana Hotel

I booked this hotel specifically because the listing stated that the hotel provides a shuttle to the airport. And was only informed after the free cancelation period that it does not. I asked for a refund and they denied it. I don’t know much about the hotel other than this kind of customer service is definitely sub par. Your clients should be able to get refunds for your mistakes.

Overall, the hotel is ok, but I don't recommend the breakfast. We arrived and the bell kept ringing. There were no coffee or tea drinks available. The staff shouted at us asking for coffee. It's better to go to different restaurants nearby.

we stayed for a week in the hotel. the receptionists were HORRIBLE, not nice, not respectful, they just didn’t care about their clients (expect one). my friend was blocked in the elevator at 5 am and called the receptionist to explain the situation. he didn’t care and kept watching netflix while my friend was blocked. the housekeepers stole my make up for 2 days. i told all the receptionists but they didn’t do anything. i won’t come back here.

The hotel is centrally located in Bucharest, with a beautiful lobby where we gathered for the Timeraiser Arts event. The staff were consistently kind and helpful throughout our stay. If you're planning to stay, I highly recommend it—the team is incredibly welcoming and attentive.

So this is a basic hotel. But you pay what you get. Location is central amd they offer 24hs reception perfect when you ended up arriving after 1am. If carpets were changed, rooms decorated better it could be much better !

We are traveling with a baby and specified that we will need a baby crib/bed in our room when we made the reservation. Unfortunately, when we arrived, no baby bed was found in our room and the boy from reception said that they don't have any... After 20 minutes, he found 2 boxes with a bed inside and we had to assemble it ourselves. But... No mattress, no bedding sheets. Finally, he found a smelly mattress and luckily, I was prepaired with sheets. The air conditioning in the room was turned off and there was no window for fresh air. Nobody is responding on the reception. By far, absolutely unacceptable in terms of service, hospitality and comfort. Also, the location is on two main boulevards and it is very noisy. Think twice before making a reservation.

first of all, no provided slippers in any of the rooms we booked (2), no conditioner nor hair shampoo, and in one of the rooms there was literally black mold formed around the air-conditioner. receptionist was decent, but lord, was that black mold horrible. in any case, the rest of it was alright. IF we ignore the BLACK MOLD.

I booked superior double room but i get standard double room old type with very narrow bathtub! No shampoo no conditionner!
