Duke's of Highland

Dukes of Highland is an unpretentious restaurant with great food and great prices. The menu is extensive. Last night I ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken. My husband had his favorite, fish and chips. The fries are homemade and the broccoli served with his dinner was fresh not frozen. We are never disappointed when we eat there.

I personally did not like the experience I'm grateful for them giving us reservations on such a weird time and only having one cook. But that's the problem you have 1 cook not viable to stay open and fries were absolutely not fresh cold and stale. The Ruben was not $12 worth specifically that was a $6 sandwich at the most. Fries Should automatically be included with that $12 price not just the sandwich. Every local and non local restaurant/competitor did not charge $12 for a super basic ruban sandwich by itself. Additionally service was inaccurate for the price I understand a larger group can be rough at times but this was kinda meh specifically 10 people is not a large group it's a standard party. Although the food I got was midorcaor at its finest, I give props to the only chef there as that's ridiculously stressful being 1.guy for up teen amount people aside from our group. I'm sorry to say I won't be returning unless some stuff changes it's not worth the costs. The Mexican food looked good but never tried it.

Update: Since the co-owners left and they were the major part of this place (Adam and Christina), we will never go back. It is different and you can tell that the food quality is NOT the same. This is the place to go to for a great time, meet nice people and a lot of laughter! The food is very good and their bartender/co-owners Adam (who is the cook too) and Christina are the ones to ask for or to meet. I love their Coconut Chicken Salad with their Homemade Poppyseed Dressing!

A solid spot for American fair - lots of sandwiches and Salads to choose from. My favorite was the brussels sprouts salad. Super yum. Really flavorful and well made dishes.

We love this everything made from scratch restaurant. I especially like the reuben with coleslaw instead of sauerkraut and the pizza. Ask for Shanna! She is the best!!

Duke's has a great atmosphere with nice waitstaff. The food is made fresh and is delicious, with a menu offering a wide variety. Their chicken tendies are the absolute best and the ranch is dank. They also have a nice beer selection. Mike the cook is awesome. Go Dukes!

Went for the first time and probably will not be back. My husband ordered the ribeye wrap. There were no onions or mushrooms on it. He said the sauce tastes more like Italian dressing not a steak sauce. I ordered the 3 sliders a little overcooked for me. But maybe that was just me. The server did take off our drinks which was nice of her. And the meal was at a good price.
