Great atmosphere! There’s an arcade and even an area to play basketball. Definitely try playing pool on the 2nd floor or play the two-player snow-mobile arcade.

Food is ok! Initially our order has not been taken by the waiter but the bartender is really good!! Taken our order by himself… great customer service! Reasonable price. Small games!! Including basketball court!! Love this place!! Washroom’s are better! Overall it’s a recommended place for people like me!! Lively place with people passing by! Outdoor seating and indoor seating…. It’s worth to give it a try.

Wife brought me as she came a few times at night and the chicken fingers was awesome she said... So after saying no a few times, we finally got there for lunch. Gosh... service is so slow coz it seems like they're understaffed, hence the domino effect of less friendly, less hyped to help, slow, unpresent. Had to get the menu myslef.Didn't even get my order right(but but he did offered to change it but i couldn't be bothered waiting longer and turns out the slaw is indeed good), didnt even get to collect points on my reward program. Either pay your staff better or have a more alive day team to cope with the summer crowd. With the service, it was very difficult to want to tip. Luckily the food was really good. Those you wanna try the food, speaking from wife's experience, go at night, service is way better then. But if don't care about service and just want good food, this place can be on your list. 15th Nov 2025 Fall Visit Update: There was no outdoor sitting since weather has gotten colder. I sat adjacent to the bar this time around. Food was still as good as I remember it to be. Gotten my Mac and Cheese too finally! XD It was awesome. The calamari was fresh and nice, not chewy at all. Again, a definite place to try for good food. The chicken tender and wings especially!

It is a good place if you want to hangout. It is a bit noisy but which bar isn't. They have got plenty of games and arcades to enjoy so if you get bored or want to do things other than drinking and eating, you can enjoy them. Service is good and food is okay.

Google
Absolutely amazing sports bar! The food is top-notch — every dish we tried was delicious and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere is vibrant, and the bar crew makes the place truly special — super friendly, fun, and always in a good mood. Great vibes, great drinks, and an awesome spot to watch the game or just hang out with friends. 10/10 — we’ll definitely be back!

Google
Great place to hang out after work. They have one of the best Happy Hour deal in Toronto DT. Everyone is super kind. So far we have tried their greek fries and veggie nachos and we loved it!

Google
recently reserved a party for 30 people at Duke’s Refresher Bar to celebrate my goodbye party, and it was absolutely amazing! The space was perfect for our group, and everyone had such a fantastic time. The drinks were not only delicious but also very reasonably priced, which was a huge plus. The manager was incredible—super attentive and helpful. I can’t recommend Duke’s enough for anyone looking to host a fun and memorable event!

Google
They have the best poutine and nacho with everything. This is the place you should definitely go to. We also tried the sliders from the happy hour menu, which was $10 and I really liked the slider burger the best. Service was okay on a Friday night, but the music was a bit too loud and it was hard to talk to anyone across from you.

Google
Loved the atmosphere at Duke’s Refresher St. Lawrence — great drinks, tasty food, and friendly staff. Only downside was the ping-pong table nearby; the ball kept rolling under our table, and people had to come over to get it, which was a bit distracting. Overall still a great spot to hang out.

Yelp

Yelp
I had supper at Duke's Refresher and Bar on the rooftop patio Thursday evening. $5 happy hour beer ... right on! I had what I always have at a Duke's Refresher ... chicken fingers and fries. It's a big meal and I never finish it. I like them because the chicken fingers are made with real chicken and are big. Yum! Abby took good care of me.

Yelp
It was a bit expensive but the portions were large enough. I would skip the Mac and cheese next time but that chicken was pretty decent. Great hangout spot for after a game or concert. There's lots of games and tables so it'd be a good option for large groups. I went on a Friday night but service was still great! It was just a bit sticky everywhere

Yelp
Friday night, girls night! Right in the middle of St Lawrence Market area. Although I have often been in to this area for work related meetings for one decade, I did not notice this pub until today. Looks like this place is relatively new (since 2019 just before the pandemic) but has kept good reputation since. Glad that we tried this place today. We were here right after work around 5. I made reservation but the sign at the entrance hall said you can walk in and have a seat. Because I had reservation I stayed there hoping to get someone's attention but for good 10 mins no one came up to me. I went to a bar area and asked - then finally was taken to the table reserved for us. But no one came to the table for a while to bring menu and take orders, so we walked up to the bar area again asking for menu and someone to take care of our table. The server who finally came to our table explained that, there was someone who was assigned to our table, but this person was late coming in for work. Really? :( But service went OK afterwards. Drink: Happy hour draught for $5, and I was pleased to know that they have my favorite Town Brewery Square Wheels IPA! Excited:) . Also tried Ceasar... but it was not impressive virtually and taste-wise. Not as tangy and it tasted kinda thin and cheap, and the flavor was weak. Food was good though. Beef and mushroom poutine was one of the best that I had before. Home cut fries with a lot of tender stake cubes. Also a lot of flavorful sautéed cremini slices. And most importantly, the gravy was very good! Packed with flavors in this dish, I strongly recommend this. Our choice of pizza was Great White. The dough was perfectly chewy and thin, great texture and flavor. The use of 4 different cheese (Grana Padano cream, Truffle Cheese, mozzarella, brie) was impressive, each asserts it's own flavor yet all blend well to make the pizza so rich and harmonious. Roasted cremini mushrooms was again, hitting the perfect texture and flavor point. I will come back!!!

Yelp
An amazingly FUN bar to come to in downtown Toronto! On arrival, you must find your own seat, and this could be a challenge. I came with a group of 5 on a Saturday evening and it took my crew 30 minutes to find a table. Once you're at your table, the servers will come around regularly to check up on you. While you wait for your food, you can check out the bar games--like pool, ski-ball and even a small basketball court (which was my favourite part). I ordered the Chef's Fav pizza and it was marvellous! Full of flavour and was a big enough size to share. Only flaw was the pizza was a little too salty for my liking. My friend also ordered the Buffalo Poutine and their chicken was over salted as well. Either than this, the place was great and had such a fun ambiance. Would definitely check this place out again!

Yelp
Has a specific and chill vibe, good pizza, and great service. Perfect place to come for dinner after a day on the islands/waterfront.

Yelp
This sports bar offers a fantastic hangout atmosphere with arcade games, ping-pong, and basketball. Plenty of space, decent food options, and friendly servers make for an overall great experience.

Yelp
Nice place to chill out. Located on Front Street to the west of St. Lawrence Market. We came here for a small drink. Their nachos was really good, crispy with a lot of cheese on top. Service was great, a very nice waitress hosted us.

Yelp
Great big bar, they have arcade games, pinball machines, ping pong table and more. We just dropped by for a drink, the cocktail was made perfect. Prices are reasonable. They do have outdoor and rooftop (wasn't open today) . You seat yourself and both bar menu and food menu is placed for you to take on your way in, as you can seat yourself anywhere at the bar. Do visit when your in the Lawrence st market area!

Yelp
Love love love this bar! Such a great vibe in the city, the atmosphere is loud but a good loud, it's popular spot. I like that it wasn't crazy packed on a Friday night. The food was AMAZING! So good for a bar, we got chicken fingers and French fries and my gosh the fries were so good. The games were so fun especially the basketball, it's an amazing vibe to hang out. The cocktails were hilarious and so good.

Yelp
For a pub, they nail at the food! The margherita pizza is crunchy in a thin crust, fresh, delicious! The place has a super creative and fun decoration. It's a nice place to have fun! They also have fliperama options! The service is very friendly and energetic!

Yelp
[3.5/5 stars]: Came here last Friday night for a friend's birthday. We had dinner and drinks. I didn't know, but this place is basically the refurbished space of the old Jack's ok front. It's pretty cool and has its own basketball net and ping pong tables which you can use and play free of charge. Which is amazing because you have to pay an arm and a leg to play ping pong at spin. Additionally, their pitchers were $6 and their shots were $4. Huge plus! Cheap drinks and free ping pong and basketball. They also have skeeball but you have to pay a dollar to play. We ordered beers and the meat lover's pizza which was okay. Our server was extremely nice but took 35 mins to flag him down and bring us the bill. Service was slow. It was a busy place. I would totally come back here for the cheap drinks and activities but not too impressed with the food. It was just pub food.

Yelp
Really amazing atmosphere! Fried chicken was also the juiciest in the gta! Loved the casual layout and who doesn't love a place that has skeeball!

Yelp
I wanted to like this more but the "Nashville Hot" Chicken Sandwitch tasted literally nothing like it should have. There was next to zero real capiscan hot flavour. Just a disgusting oddly spicy flavour. On top of that the bun was soaked with the gross sauce. Terribly disappointing.

Yelp
We came here before heading to a show. They service was great, attentive and quick. It has a fun bar and games atmosphere. The buffalo chicken sandwich was only okay, it was stringy, dry and wasn't that tasty. The poutine upgrade was half decent but not great. The mushroom burger was quite good and he sweet potato fries upgrade was worth it. We tried the alcoholic raspberry lemonade, it was nice if you don't feel like a beer. Overall it's a decent sports bar with bar food and most people are drinking beer here. If you sit near the back watch out for stray ping pong balls.

Yelp
Loved this place. The bartenders made us feel right at home. They suggested drinks, offered samples and answered our questions about Toronto. Cool place with games and food. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I've been a regular at Duke's since they opened last year. They don't have a designated patio space so it was sad to see them close in the beginning stages of COVID. But I was back last week and ordered their pepperoni pizza and wings to go and was surprised to see that they had a makeshift sports bar going where patrons could stand and eat! Can't wait for them to be open again.
