36 Best Hotels in Dubai

"London's Dukes hotel attracts mainly English tourists to its modern property in Dubai. Everything is new here, from the super-soft beds and linens to the high-tech bathrooms. The British-style hospitality is refreshing compared to the area's over-the-top chic properties." - Melinda Healy, Laura Ratliff

Dukes The Palm, a Royal Hideaway Hotel

"How did it strike you on arrival? You’ll be blown away by the grand entrance to the hotel. The lobby is sleek and modern all while maintaining Dubai's sense of opulence. Nice. What’s the crowd like?Dukes Dubai attracts many English tourists (the brand has a well-known hotel in London), as well as Asian families and businesspeople. The good stuff: Tell us about your room.Like the lobby, the rooms are new and modern with a touch of elegance. The views of the sea might soon be obstructed by the construction in the area. We’re craving some deep, restorative sleep. They got us?Like everything else in the hotel, the beds are still new and soft. How about the little things, like mini bar, or shower goodies. Any of that find its way into your suitcase? The room features a coffee maker and super-soft robes that are perfect to slip into after a hot shower. Please tell us the bathroom won’t let us down.A speaker connected to the living room TV is installed in the bathroom, so you could hypothetically keep up with your favorite shows while showering. The toilet has button-activated jets on the front and back. The products are all from Floris. Maybe the most important topic of all: Wi-Fi. What’s the word? The Wifi is free but can be a bit erratic and hard to connect to. It's generally fast once you’ve made it on, though. Room service: Worth it?Again, since this a new hotel, there are a few service hangups, including room (and poolside) service. Wait times can be a bit slow, and some items from your order might not arrive, but this is most likely a growing pain of a new property. Staff: If you could award one a trophy, who gets it, and why?The staff are all excellent, but extra credit goes to the manager, Andy, for being extremely knowledgeable about the property and surrounding area. Anything stand out about other services and features? Whether it’s childcare, gyms, spas, even parking—whatever stuck with you.Unfortunately, you’ll be sharing the amazing infinity pool with guests of two neighboring hotels. The beach is less than a 10-minute walk away. Bottom line: worth it, and why?The modern style of the hotel is refreshing compared to the over-the-top opulence of Dubai, and the British-style hospitality may be welcome to some American and UK visitors." - Laura Ratliff

Dukes The Palm is an outstanding hotel! Although we ran into a few issues on arrival, the way the staff – including the manager – handled everything was exactly what you’d expect from a 5-star luxury hotel. They were professional, attentive, and quick to resolve the situation, which really showed their commitment to guest satisfaction. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities you could need for a relaxing stay. The location on the Palm is excellent, offering stunning views and easy access to nearby attractions. Overall, the service throughout our stay was top-notch, and the hotel itself is absolutely lovely. I would highly recommend Dukes The Palm to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Dubai.

The gym at Dukes The Palm is outstanding! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome that immediately set the tone. The service from ALI was absolutely exquisite – attentive, professional, and genuinely caring, which made my experience all the more enjoyable. The gym itself is spotless, with excellent cleanliness standards maintained throughout. The equipment is modern, well-maintained, and caters to all types of workouts. On top of that, the views from the gym are simply breathtaking, making each session feel extra special. Highly recommend this gym to anyone staying at Dukes The Palm – a perfect combination of great facilities, excellent service, and an unbeatable atmosphere!

The hotel is in a great location, next to the beach with an infinity pool. Opposite is a beautiful and pleasant shopping center, a park for walking and running with a length of 2600 meters. It's fantastic. It was our seventh visit. ||||The hotel needs some renovations in the rooms, but it would be enough for everything to work as it should. The beds are comfortable, and the blanket for two people is the maximum width and length, which makes for a pleasant night's sleep. ||There has been a change in the coffee service at breakfast. Previously, any coffee, espresso, cappuccino, etc. was included in the price. Now, only filter coffee is included in the price of breakfast, but it was not of good quality, very watery. This spoiled our overall impression of breakfast. We are very sorry about that.

The most perfect stay. Stayed here for 10 nights with my partner and we loved it. All staff are so friendly and helpful always going out their way to engage in a conversation with you. The staff could not do enough for you, they were very attentive especially the staff around the pool. The hotel was extremely clean and the maids would be in cleaning your room everyday to a top standard. The hotel gives you free complimentary bottles of water in your room everyday which I found this to be such a lovely gesture. We come back to our room one day with a lovely surprise left in the room by the staff, it was a photo of us which was edible with some cake. This really made our holiday was so kind by the staff involved. The hotel itself is very modern and beautiful and the facilities are great. The views from the pool area are amazing with the pool itself being a standout facility for me it's so big and the temperature of the pool is perfect for cooling down in the hot weather. We loved the lazy river as well. The breakfast in the hotel is fantastic which such a wide variety of foods catered for everyone. Me and my partner are already planning a visit back here we loved it that much.

I recently stayed at Dukes The Palm and I’m very pleased with my experience. The food was excellent, and as a nice gesture we were offered a complimentary lunch because we had missed dinner on our first day. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable.||||The only downside was the pool ladder, which wasn’t properly fixed and made getting in and out of the pool a bit difficult. Apart from that, everything was wonderful and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

My stay at Dukes The Palm in Dubai was simply extraordinary. From the very first moment we walked in, the atmosphere of the hotel immediately captivated us: an elegant, bright, and welcoming lobby, where every detail reflects class and harmony. You can instantly feel that this is a special place, where true hospitality is a top priority. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay: a rich buffet with fresh, high-quality products and an impressive variety, ranging from international dishes to local specialties. Every corner of the breakfast area is beautifully arranged, showing great attention to detail. A special mention must go to the staff, who made our stay even more memorable with their professionalism and kindness. • Heartfelt thanks to Prince, who took care of our room with great dedication: always smiling, precise, and attentive, he ensured that everything was spotless and welcoming, giving us a true feeling of comfort. • A warm thank you also to Akram, the doorman: his helpfulness, courtesy, and genuine care truly stood out. Always ready to assist with a smile, he made us feel at home and well looked after. These thoughtful gestures, combined with the beauty and quality of the hotel’s services, turned our stay into an unforgettable experience. Dukes The Palm is not just a place to stay—it’s a perfect blend of comfort, elegance, and heartfelt hospitality. Without any doubt, I will gladly return, and I highly recommend it to anyone wishing to enjoy Dubai with the highest level of serenity and care.

We visited for 4 nights, upon arrival after an early flight arrival there was a long queue for check in, we also weren’t aware we couldn’t get our room until 3pm. The hotel does have an area for you to change & leave your luggage so you can use the facilities so that is a bonus!|When we did get our room it was stunning! We stayed in a premium deluxe room with 2 balconies which had views of the mall. The room has absolutely everything you need & is kept pristine, the room we had was London themed which was very apt for us. Rooms are cleaned daily to a super high standard, water & coffee amenities also replenished.|Breakfast has lots of choice & the food options in the Dukes Bar & Ula / Beach bar are very delicious.|Beach & pool are lovely, sun loungers at pool get taken pretty quick but the beach always has plenty. The lazy river is very relaxing too. For me personally the walk to the beach & pool is too far in the heat (but this is me problem)|Hotel is over the road from a shopping mall which has lots of places to shop, eat & entertain you. It also has the monorail there to go to JBR or the other end of the palm so lots to in area as well as the beach clubs along the beach strip.|What STOOD OUT the most at this hotel is TRULY the staff, they really go above & beyond to make your stay perfect! Everyone made your trip special & I highly recommend the hotel due to this. Thank you to the team are the Dukes you were all outstanding in your service levels !
