"How did it strike you on arrival?You’ll be blown away by the grand entrance to the hotel. The lobby is sleek and modern all while maintaining Dubai's sense of opulence. Nice. What’s the crowd like?Dukes Dubai attracts many English tourists (the brand has a well-known hotel in London), as well as Asian families and businesspeople. The good stuff: Tell us about your room.Like the lobby, the rooms are new and modern with a touch of elegance. The views of the sea might soon be obstructed by the construction in the area. We’re craving some deep, restorative sleep. They got us?Like everything else in the hotel, the beds are still new and soft. How about the little things, like mini bar, or shower goodies. Any of that find its way into your suitcase?The room features a coffee maker and super-soft robes that are perfect to slip into after a hot shower. Please tell us the bathroom won’t let us down.A speaker connected to the living room TV is installed in the bathroom, so you could hypothetically keep up with your favorite shows while showering. The toilet has button-activated jets on the front and back. The products are all from Floris. Maybe the most important topic of all: Wi-Fi. What’s the word?The Wifi is free but can be a bit erratic and hard to connect to. It's generally fast once you’ve made it on, though. Room service: Worth it?Again, since this a new hotel, there are a few service hangups, including room (and poolside) service. Wait times can be a bit slow, and some items from your order might not arrive, but this is most likely a growing pain of a new property. Staff: If you could award one a trophy, who gets it, and why?The staff are all excellent, but extra credit goes to the manager, Andy, for being extremely knowledgeable about the property and surrounding area. Anything stand out about other services and features? Whether it’s childcare, gyms, spas, even parking—whatever stuck with you.Unfortunately, you’ll be sharing the amazing infinity pool with guests of two neighboring hotels. The beach is less than a 10-minute walk away. Our stay at Dukes The Palm was truly unforgettable. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way, combining comfort, elegance, and outstanding service. The rooms are beautifully designed, spacious, and spotless. We especially loved the hotel’s facilities: the swimming pools are fantastic, and the direct access to the beach is simply unbeatable. Being able to walk straight from the hotel to the sand made our stay feel even more relaxing and luxurious. Breakfast was one of the highlights of our trip. The variety, quality, and freshness of the food were impressive. There was something for everyone, and everything was delicious — a perfect way to start each day. The staff at Dukes The Palm was kind and professional. But a special thank you goes to Alejandra. She was incredibly gentle, professional, and attentive to every detail. She understood our needs immediately and was absolutely adorable with my son. Her warmth and care truly made a difference and elevated our stay from great to exceptional.

Gorgeous hotel, smells amazing! Service is outstanding and thanks to Stephanie at the reception our stay was exceptional. I was celebrating my birthday with my boys, they even sent me a celebration dessert to my room. All really great. The pool is heated and you can swim until late. The beach is very clean and calm, also the service on the beach is great. Rooms are very spacious, we had 2 balconies. If you cross the street you will find the mall.

I had a wonderful stay at Dukes The Palm Hotel. The location is excellent—perfectly situated with easy access to the beach and great views, making it a very relaxing place to stay. The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained, which immediately gives a great first impression.||The staff are attentive, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. A special mention must go to the room cleaner, Zaw, who was absolutely outstanding. He was reliable, thorough, and consistently did an excellent job keeping the room spotless. Zaw was always cheerful, friendly, and clearly did his best every day to make sure everything was perfect.||Overall, a great experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Palm Jumeirah.

We recently stayed at Dukes The Palm to celebrate our daughter’s first birthday and had a really lovely experience overall. The staff were very attentive throughout our stay. A special thank you to Mandeep who cleaned our room – she was so thoughtful and created a beautiful birthday display for our daughter, which was such a lovely surprise. The hotel also gifted her a cake and a small teddy, which made the celebration feel extra special. Olyvia also kindly upgraded our room as part of the birthday treats, which we really appreciated. The infinity pool area is beautiful, with amazing views of the beach and the Ain Wheel in the background – such a great place to relax. Breakfast was also a highlight. The chefs were very attentive and happily made food to order on request, which was a really nice touch. The location is great and it was very convenient having a mall directly opposite the hotel. However, traffic can be quite heavy if you’re planning to travel downtown or visit other attractions; it took an hour to get to the Dubai Mall from where we were. Overall, while there were a few minor things that could be improved, we had a very pleasant stay and are grateful to the team for helping us celebrate such a special milestone.

Gorgeous Hotel, Most Uncomfortable Room Ever.First the positives, the place is stunning, like a Conrad's, beach and infinity pool great, free beach chairs the whole kit. Staff is stellar, breakfast buffet ample. Now for the series of unfortunate events.1. Booked 3 mos. in advance requested high floor nice view. Reply we will try. No. Got 7 of 16 floors, no view without cash.Deluxe room is beautiful but a Standard size. Honesty!2. We were sick most of the time here. The AC was stuck at 17, freezing and they said it will warm up slowly. False, woke up with head colds, sick all day. Thermostat bad. I heard another guy complain about the same 2 days later. No upgrade only repair.3. Next the pillows are super soft, day 2 suffered severe neck pain headache, sick all day. Tried to sleep in the chair, both narrow in front and fabric rough as camel hair. Walmart cheapest better! No comfortable place to rest, torture or the body. Bed ok. Trick, sleep on red decorative pillow or towels.4. Many minor pains. Room felt like a park madhouse. Phone power cord drops out every night, hairdryer plug in dark cabinet, with a hidden power off button, so when fumbling to plug in you secretly cut off the outlets power. What's the point of this? Froze my wet head while waiting staff to show me invisible button.5. More. Lights and remote very high tech look so utterly flat minimalist buttons hard to work. You get two buttons by the door, hard to predict what order to punch to get two modes only, master lights on or just lamps. Wake up your partner when you just need a hallway lamp. TV remote keeps skipping out of channels back to hotel home screen, like living in a TV maze.6. More. Cheap with the bath dispensers, squirt out teeny amounts so kill your fingers and patience. Coffee machine tasted truly bad. Minor things but death by 1000 cuts.7. Summary, designer is a high artiste A for aesthetics, F- for ergonomics. Best Western room 1000x more room and comfort.8. Staff is nice but can't do anything for you except send a stream of repairmen knocking. The 3rd day we were sick with E Coli after free coffee at Burj Al Arab. Beauty but distress again.9. General outside hotel: Watch for E coli here don't trust any water or water based food.10. Good news: See the Palm island from View at the Palm in St Regis across street. Pay for fast track or suffer interminable lines of hot sweaty patrons. Burj Al Arab the big Sail hotel is close, avoid free coffee. Get to the beach, it gets 5 C degrees warmer than hotel and free towels as blankets while you wait. Delicious feeling. Now you are prepared.

Our stay at Dukes The Palm was truly wonderful—warm, welcoming, and memorable from start to finish. What made the experience exceptional was the outstanding staff service. Every team member went out of their way to ensure we felt valued, but a special thank you must go to Jane on Reception, and to Gayatri, Ika, and Jayson in the Executive Lounge. Their professionalism, warmth, and genuine care elevated our stay beyond expectations. The Executive Lounge was a particular highlight. It provided a calm, refined escape from the busier dining areas, with a relaxed atmosphere that made meal times feel special. The pastries were absolutely delicious—far superior to the main buffet options—and it was lovely to enjoy excellent coffee there as part of the Executive Lounge package. The spa treatments were excellent and very reasonably priced. While the spa itself isn’t a large standalone venue, the quality of the treatments and the professionalism of the therapists made it a lovely and worthwhile experience. We also thoroughly enjoyed the private beach and pool facilities. The team at Ula restaurant and the beach bar were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready with a smile and happy to help. Their service added enormously to the relaxed and luxurious feel of the stay. A tip for future guests: tip the staff well, and you’ll experience an even higher level of personalised service—they truly deserve it. Alondra and Ramesh provided truly amazing service — they were attentive, professional, and always ready to help. Thanks to them, everything ran smoothly and stress-free throughout the week. Our guests were very happy with their stay and shared great feedback about the rooms, stunning views, quality of the food, and overall service. This place was truly amazing. We stayed one week and were 6 people. Sabry was very nice and professional. Always polite and asking how he can serve and assist us and with a smile. We really enjoyed our stay here because of the really nice waiters and other staff. Always clean rooms and welcoming staff at the reception and outside of the hotel when waiting for taxi. Sahil and Nuwan the cleansers were amazing, spotless cleaning. I can not say enough how extremly good it was.
