We loved it here. The service was quick and friendly. I ordered an omelet with mushrooms and bacon. It came with great slices of bread and asparagus salad. The food tasted great and plentiful. You need to go to their shop across the street too. They had all kinds of freshly baked breads and other goods.

This is a very cozy and hip coffee shop a la Europe. The croissants are amazing and very authentic. There is also plenty of other great breakfast items on the menu. They got a variety of different coffee beverages. Bread and pastries are available to go.

A friend recommended Dulce Romero, and wow—I’m so glad they did! I came solo on a busy Mother’s Day (without a reservation!) and still received wonderful, welcoming service. I had a mimosa, an iced coffee, and the chilaquiles with an over-easy egg—absolutely delicious. The space is cozy and charming, and the pastries looked incredible… I regret not grabbing one! I’ll definitely be back. A must-visit spot in La Paz for a relaxed and flavorful brunch.

Found vegetarian options in sandwich and pizza. Their fruit juices and milkshakes were also very good. Tomato soup also good.

The menu and waitstaff are in Spanish with little exceptions, perfect for our morning breakfast experience!! We had eggs Benedict and a coprise and bacon sandwich. Everything was perfect in fact several thought it was our best breakfast yet in La Paz

Went to Dulce Romero for some cakes and pastries. The service at the counter is painfully slow. We got the red velvet muffin, tres leches cake, lotus cheesecake and pretzel. The tres leches cake, lotus cheesecake and pretzel were good. The cream cheese frosting on the muffin tasted bit weird. It’s located in a nice airy building.

I love this place, I return every time I’m in La Paz. The service is warm and friendly. The food has always been outstanding. They have an almond croissants that competes with the best bakeries in San Francisco, including the one that’s been rated as the best bakery in America! 11/10 recommend, you will not be disappointed for breakfast or brunch.

Google
Amazing breakfast here. One the most unique eggs Benedict I've ever had. Great drinks. Breakfast was eggs Benedict Mexicano. Quiche with a salad. Red juice coffees and 2 mimosas. Came to only $40. Will definitely return.

Yelp
Muy rica la comida, café está delicioso, el servicio es muy amable ... un poco lento pero con un buen café se te olvida. La panadería no se diga, exquisito ... quisiera traérmelo a casa. Todo muy recomendado

Yelp
Fantastic food. Make stomach space for their bakery inside which boasts the best sourdough in La Paz. They definitely have the best guava/cheese empanada I've ever had in my life!!! Expect a long wait during busy times. Seating is very limited.

Yelp
A MUST visit when in La Paz!!! Dulce Romero is a pleasant experience not just a quick meal or a bakery stop off. They offer excellent service, delicious food & drinks made to order - plus the fresh baked bread and other sweet and savory delights My favorite cafe in La Paz!! Gracias DR Team

Yelp
Mmmmmm delicious everything. Fantastic breakfasts (mushroom omelette is a standout) and possibly the best bakery in town. Consistently great.

Yelp
Delicioso!!

Yelp
OMG, I love this bakery! I found it while riding my bike and I've fallen in love with their bread selection. I've had several loaves of their breads and have never been disappointed. The sourdough is my favorite but the selection is vast and all the ones I've tried, they were excellent! They have a good assortment of desserts as well, but if I wanna take in calories, I'll skip the cake or pastries for a little loaf of bread any day!

Yelp
The food was phenomenal! A definite must stop when visiting La Paz. The pan dulce was what made us return a second time. Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
This place was great. The waffles are awesome and the atmosphere is friendly, clean and busy. The smoothies were also very tasty, and there's a fresh bakery attached where you can find some really good breads, desserts and cheese pretzels. Recommend starting with the waffles - the cream cheese/jam/basil is unique but works and the other options are quality.

Yelp
I been eating at this place like 4 times and never was disappointed with food or coffee or service Love this place a LOT highly recommended great breakfast great coffee and great fresh fruit juices and bakery is awesome too .

Yelp
My favorite bakery here. Awesome breakfasts. Very busy on the weekends. Worth the wait.

Yelp
Delicious healthy breakfast. Only thing I wish the restaurants had when blending fresh juice was a vitamix blender. The juices are a little chunky but love the option of fresh healthy juice. I ordered the beet salad and the walnuts on top were a bit too sugary for my liking. Other than that, food was delicious for all three in our party. Bread was fresh. Outdoor seating with air flow was safe. Restaurant was clean with relaxing music. Excellent start to the day.

Yelp
Dulce Romero is a bakery and cafe. The breads and sweets are superb. Coffee is excellent. The rosemary infused jamaica is absolutely the best I've ever had! Service was prompt and friendly. Our beet and goat cheese salad was really good and the vinaigrette just perfect. The menu has many vegetarian options and offers a wide variety for every taste. This is a must while in La Paz for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

Yelp
An American who stays in La Paz several months out of the year told us about this place and said it was "to die" for. The bread is fresh and there's a special type each day. The croissants were very good. We went just to the bakery but there are sit down cafe tables too.

Yelp
Great little restaurant. Family like atmosphere inside and outside. Went for breakfast and was far from disappointed. Great food and coffee. Staff were super friendly and free wi-fi was a plus!! Definitely recommend.

Yelp
Great espresso. Best sandwiches in town. Awesome breakfast, (get the spicy green avacado sauce). And bread! And pastries! A few tables outside and another handful inside. Nice atmosphere. Kinda pricey. But quality is what you get.

Yelp
We loved everything about this place, food, coffee and ambiance. We stayed for 7 days at la Paz and we came 3 times to here!!

Yelp
Hands down our favorite local coffee shop in La Paz. Family owned business, just like our family owned business back in Seattle. Sending strength and positive thoughts your way! If your a local or tourist, I highly recommend you stop by for a delicious fresh baked pastry and coffee.

Yelp
We loved this spot! The coffee was great (americanos). Our fresh squeezed juices were delicious (we ordered orange & tropical). The food was so yummy (waffle with Nutella, plátano, y nuez & croissant con huevo, queso, aguacate, y ensalada). The vibe is super chill inside.

Yelp
This place isn't what I expected at all. We came here because we definitely wanted to indulge in some wonderful desserts and also be supportive to local moms and papa's shops but it was definitely a big disappointment base on the customer service we received. As tourists we don't know how every establishment works but we understand we are in different circumstances so we respect the process however customer service should always be at 100% especially for newcomers!!! We won't be coming here ever again due to their lack of customer service and professionalism and I definitely will not be recommending to anyone of my friends or family members who are looking for recommendations. We support all locals during these hard unpresidential times but not for the price of total rudeness!!!

Yelp
Mediocre desserts. Seriously sourpuss staff. With all the selections in this town, there's no need to visit this bakery again. No mames güey!

Yelp
Great food, reasonable prices and great service, first time here and definitely will come back, wish they had a place like this in Cabo

Yelp
Had an _outstanding_ waffle with blackberry jam and cream cheese, and a pretty good quiche, and got some iced coffee which I stashed for the next morning since we were getting up super early to hop on a boat tour. A++, would nom again.

Yelp
Absolutely LOVE this place. Visiting La Paz and this is where we choose to have breakfast everyday. It was so good it kept us coming back. Wish we had a place like this in LA! Everything is delicious! Between the breakfast and their fresh bread from their bakery.... It's a must try!
google avatar

Yelp
Love this place. It was cute, lots of locals there and an adorably smart stray dog that patiently waited without begging for food. The food was fantastic!

Yelp
Loved this place!!! Super fresh, healthy food and excellent service. A nice change from most other places in La Paz...

Geri S.

Yelp
Seriously. Just when I started to miss home this place was recommended to us. Amazeballs. Staff. Was very welcoming. The food.... awesome. Portobello mushroom empanada, shut up right now!! Who would've thought right??? How bout that corn bread. It only took 1 bite, had to buy the rest of what they had left. For dessert we shared the foreign sandwich. I never rate on yelp but had to share our experience. YUMMERZ!!!

Yelp
Holy moly! This place is amazing! The BEST fruit smoothies we've ever had! Seriously! Came back a second time because we had to get our fix before leaving. Delicioso! Very relaxed atmosphere, everything coming out of the bakery looked amazing. And prices very reasonable--cheap by our standards but the quality is impeccable. Croissant con huevo was really good, even the simple oatmeal I had tasted delicious. I only wish we'd discovered it sooner in our vacation! Might even come back to La Paz just to eat here again!

Yelp
Fantastic, if not the best, bakery in La Paz. Wonderful artisan breads, pastries, cookies and deserts. Restaurant side of business is equally aa good. Eat in or take out. Only complaint is the cashiers are extremely slow and seeming untrained and disorganized. However, the product makes one put up with the inconvenience. Highly recommend if you are not in a hurry.

Yelp
We love Dulce Romero. Everything there is delicious. It's a change of pace when you are tired of eating tacos. The almond croissant was the best! Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Great meals amazing bread and pastries. Comidas excelente y postries increiblé. Sweet atmosphere almost like a SoCal hip all exposed (but whitewashed) brick but with bright colors. Great coffee too! What else is necesario?

Chris M.

Yelp
This place was incredible! We went here two times in one day: first for coffee and a pastry and then after our activity for some fresh juice and more pastries for the road. We could not get over how warm and delicious everything was. We would highly recommend this place!

Yelp
Fantanstico! Couldn't have found a better place to eat on our first morning in La Paz. The service is great and the food is wonderful. We had Caprese breakfast on delicious bread and my friend had a croissant with spinach and avocado. Flavorful herbal drink and great hot chocolate. Their fresh breads and pastries are awesome. Can't wait to return. This is worth the walk off the beaten path.

Yelp
Great place for coffee/juice/breakfast! Much better than the reviews let on. One of the cuter places here in La Paz :)
