Dumaguete Airport is convenient and easy to navigate. Check-in and security were smooth, and the staff were friendly. Perfect for a quick and hassle-free travel experience!

Don't let its size fool you—Dumaguete-Sibulan Airport offers a wonderfully efficient and friendly travel experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with genuine warmth. A word to the wise: the seating area before security is limited, so it's best to check in and head through. Once past the gates, the atmosphere completely transforms. You'll find a large, airy waiting area with a good selection of food and beverages, and the massage services were a real treat. This airport is a true gem, staffed by some of the most pleasant people you'll meet.

It’s a small airport, served by Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines. I flew with both airlines and had no issues. Cebu Pacific even provided an umbrella and a bottle of water at the airport, which was a nice touch. Security checks were quick, all process done in less than 10 minutes. There’s also a water station available inside.

Small and easy to navigate airport. Comfort room has bidet. Has charging ports. What i love is they do not require to bring out your laptops when scanning (i bring 2 to 3 laptops everytime) so it really helps when they do not require the laptops to be brought out. Has free water, has massage services, only downside is very few food options to buy. But understandable as this airport is just small. Overall it is a good airport in my opinion. Very efficient!

A Mixed Experience Initially, I was ready to leave a positive review because everything went smoothly upon arrival. The baggage was delivered within minutes on the single baggage carousel, which was impressive. The departure experience started just as promising – check-in and security were completed in under 10 minutes, which is almost unheard of. However, the issues began in the departure hall. There is only one hall, and it’s extremely noisy. There’s a single food counter offering limited options, and during my wait, a guitar player performed for tips – loudly, poorly, and for an extended time. The combination of the crowd and the music made it impossible to hear important announcements, including updates about our delayed flight. While some aspects of the airport are efficient, the lack of comfort, facilities, and clear communication in the departure area significantly detract from the overall experience.

Dumaguete airport is a cozy airport that has two food / coffee stands for departing passengers. The airport is around 15 minutes from the city or pier and is hence very accessible. For arriving passengers tricycles are ready available but they ask for a price that is way beyond regular. I like the city and I think the airport has the potential to welcome more international tourists judging from the availability of so many exciting destinations around.

Easy to get in and out. Very small airport. It's under 100 peso ride to boardwalk Dumaguete on Grabe trike. Some guys want 300 pesos so be careful. If you have some time to kill, there are small restaurants next to parking lot where they have cold beer and smoking area.

Smooth and straightforward transactions. The passenger scanner wasn’t working during my time so they just manually checked us. There’s a trike terminal outside, so better check that first before renting air-conditioned vehicles for affordability.
