Dumpling Darlings (Amoy Street)

A friend and I went when they opened on a Wednesday eve and were able to get a seat. We ordered the fried pierogi, and the spicy Sichuan dumplings. Our favorite was the pierogi, the bits of bacon along with the cheddar and Siracha crema was excellent! The spicy Sichuan was good but found it to be ordinary. We also ordered the braised pork noodles and the XO prawn noodles. They were both tasty and a decent portion size. Service was quick and the overall vibe was cool. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in Singapore.

superb dining experience - good atmosphere and delicious food! highly recommend the pierogi and egg noodles. the egg noodles were cooked to perfection - good texture and taste! friendly albeit busy staff. highly recommend reserving before going as the eatery is small and packed. personally felt the drinks were okay only, but their dumplings + noodles were really good!

Being a FOMO as usual, we ordered the dumpling splatter for 15$ that was served with 3 dumplings of each flavour in the house. The dumpling that stood out to us was the fried pierogi. It was flavourful and the texture was really smooth. We didn’t fancy the dumplings with crab in it. We thought it the umami flavour did not blend very well with the dumpling skin & crisp. I also wished that the other dumplings would be much greasy flavourful too. The rest of the dumplings like The Original & the smoke ducks I find the flavour to be subtle & mundane for my likings. I had to eat it with the sauce given for flavour. I also ordered the seafood noodles. I thought the served noodles was dry tho the noodles was cooked al denté. I thought the onsen egg would helped with the dryness but sadly it did not. I’m giving kudos to the fungus tho. It was seasoned & picked to a very nice flavour. It wasn’t too pickled or sour. They managed to retain the crunchiness of it for only 2.50$. Well done.

Visited on a weekday afternoon and it was quite crowded around 1pm, so I’d recommend making a reservation in advance. The atmosphere was pleasant, cool and comfortable with a warm, cozy ambience. We ordered the lunch set at $18++, which came with a main, Fried Pierogi dumplings, and a drink, definitely good value! The food cooled down a little quickly, but the Jajang Pork Noodles were a standout, especially with the delicious fried shallots.

came here for a birthday dinner with friends. food was amazing! loved the dumpling platter especially for sharing. the pierogi was amazing n the dipping sauce went very well with it. we got the jajjang noodles n also the miso mushroom noodles, which was also very delicious, and came w a generous serving of toppings. service was fine but could be better — the female staff were quite aloof and blur.. 😭 my friend requested for the cake to be brought out as a surprise but she came to the table w the cake still in the box n plastic bag, handed us the cake, then she asked us if she should take the cake out when it was meant to be a surprise, n she didn't clear the plates to make space for the cake so the male staff had to come in to help. not a big deal or a dealbreaker (bc i'd still come back for the pierogi n noodles n i dont wna be karen lo but i just wanted to feedback on the service so staff could be better trained in terms of things like this that make a difference to someone's special day! 🤍 all love

A true gem! The dumplings we tried were absolutely amazing, with a slight crispiness that made every bite so enjoyable. The duck dumplings were especially incredible, with a rich, bold flavor that really stood out. But what blew me away were the noodles I had honestly some of the best I’ve ever tasted in my life! The flavor was insane, so good that I couldn’t resist getting a second serving.

Lunch set was pretty good (miso mushroom noodles, original dumplings, sour plum red dates drink). It's been a really long time since I visited but there's no free plate of beansprouts now. Got the bar/counter seats during lunch and the aircon was really cold.

We ordered the Dumpling Party of 15, which came with 5 different flavours — The Original, Veggie Mandu, Fried Pierogi, Prawn & Crab, and Quail Quail Duck. Each dumpling had its own unique twist, from the rich truffle potato Pierogi to the luxurious duck & foie gras dumpling. Perfect for sharing! The noodles were also impressive. I especially loved the XO Prawn Noodles — packed with flavour, prawns were fresh, and the flying fish roe added a nice texture. Drinks were refreshing too (had the Grapefruit Thyme Green Tea). The biggest surprise? Dessert dumplings! Amaretto cream cheese with poached pear and ice cream — never thought dumplings could be so good as a dessert.

Tight little spot with some delicious foods! Price on the high end. Their noodles are fantastic, must get! Dessert dumplings are also very fascinating and delicious. Only issue is the service is a little... My water would almost always be empty and I'd have to ask over and over again for refills. I sat at the bar table and even when they saw clearly that my cup was empty, there would be no attempt to fill it till I spoke up.

Dumpling Darlings has been my go-to place for noodles and dumplings the past 3 years! It started with mid-work lunches and post-work dinners with friends in the CBD; and now that I've moved away, it's on the list of places I have to visit every time I'm back in Singapore. This evening, we ordered the original dumplings, fried pierogi dumplings and miso mushroom egg noodles.

Perhaps the best dumplings in Singapore. I have ordered several platters from them and they have never disappointed.

Wow! Lovvvved the dumplings. Atmosphere is adorable at night. Quick service! The original and the mushroom dumplings were my favorite. The passion fruit soda was good too! I personally thought the egg noodles were a bit low of flavor but everything else made up for it. Highly recommend overall!

Pretty good! We came to Dumpling Darlings for our final dinner in Singapore, having made a reservation in advance (highly recommend reserving). We still had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated, but were given menus to look at in the meantime. The ambiance inside was very casual, and the space was on the smaller side. For drinks, I ordered the UME Dream, which unfortunately I didn't like at all - just too much going on. My friends enjoyed their drinks though, including the Passionfruit Ginger Soda and seasonal feature beer. For food, we ordered an assortment of dumplings, which was easy to do since their menus are little checklists you can write on. Out of the dumplings, the group favorite were the Fried Pierogi, which came with a delicious dipping sauce. I only tried the Smoked Duck and Momo Curry dumplings, which were both tasty, but the Momo Curry was the better of the two. We also ended up getting the Dessert Dumplings. In my opinion, the ice cream they came with was honestly better than the dumplings themselves. Overall, a solid dinner!

The best dumplings I've ever had! Super unique and thoughtful combinations like truffled potatoes with bacon in the fried perogi, or the momo curry having the BEST combo with labneh. The veggie dumplings are perfectly complimented by the garlic aioli. Those are my top three and hard to pick a favorite--ok the Momo curry. I'm not normally into curry but this one I could eat on the regular! If you've never been, get the sampler and decide which your favorites are for next time. Service was spot on and very busy, but pronto as soon as you're sat. We were in and out in less than 25 minutes. We had an hour wait but look forward to going back before we head out of town. This was suggested by my honey's coworker and he wasn't wrong. We even went down to Awfully Chocolate while we waited to sit and enjoyed a slice of cake and tea. I know there are amazing places on every block in Singapore and thousands to choose from, and this place holds up and represents the best of them!

We took take away from their Amoy street location last week. Tried the original OG and the spicy pierogi along with the sichuan pork noodles. Loved the dumplings, both flavors were excellent but was super impressed by the pierogi which is not a traditional asian dumpling flavor, but was very well executed. The noodles were good too, but not at the same level as the dumplings. Will be back to try their other flavors!

Food was amazing as well as the service. Very small but the staff was very efficient. Desert was great.

Really tasty and fast as well. After a complimentary starter I had some noodles with egg and ground meat, then some spicy dumplings. Pricing was very affordable. Great quick place for lunch!
