Dunas de Formentera

A first-time visitor to Formentera, I was already very excited ahead of our visit and I couldn’t have wished to stay in a nicer hotel staffed by a super friendly, helpful and charming team. ||Our room was 2 minutes from the hotel and 5 minutes from the beach. The room was comfy, clean and very nicely decorated with a sink, small fridge big bed and spacious shower.||The breakfast was delicious with a wide selection of hot and cold food with fresh ingredients- good coffee too, because coffee is important. The view from the restaurant is spectacular and the food is delicious too; we enjoyed an evening meal, a nice late lunch, and a slightly boozy pizza and would have it all again. ||The pool was always immaculate and while I could go on about the facilities, vibe, Wi-Fi stability, what really sets Dunas de Formentera apart is the people working so hard at the hotel to create an unforgettable experience . Everyone we spoke to was kind, friendly, helpful and made us feel delighted to be there. The team are more than happy to share their advice on where to go and what to eat, and they even put up with my very mediocre attempts at Spanish.||Stay here - you won’t be disappointed and you’ll definitely want to come back. ||¡Hasta luego!

DEFINITELY THE HOTEL TO GO TO IN FORMENTERA!! We came as a family of 5 mid August for 8 days, and had an amazing time! The staff was incredibly nice and always accomodating. The rooms were well decorated and very well cleaned. The food at the restaurant was really delicious, as well as the drinks! We had a few occasions where they got a main wrong, but always found a solution. I think they still have to find the right pace and communication between themselves but definitely are trying so hard to make it amazing! A shame the beach is public and they don’t have a spot with a few beach beds for guests, however they had umbrellas and foldable back rests to bring down. But in the morning the beach is empty which is amazing for beach walks or early sea swim! The pool is really incredibly beautiful and has a lot of beds and spaces for everyone. Would maybe feel nicer if there was a bit more of a private access to the hotel when coming from the beach as anyone can walk in the property and a lot of rooms are nearby. Sandra at the reception made it so easy with any queries, and all of the staff in general was always helpful and cheerful! They managed most of our restaurant bookings which made it a lot easier for us. There are only small details and adjustments to be done, overall we had an amazing time! We are looking forward to come back again next summer :)) It really was heaven on earth by the sea. Well done, such an amazing job for a first summer season!

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and it was PERFECT!!! The team (specially Stefania) made every effort to give us a seamless and unforgettable experience. Highly highly recommend

By far one of the worst values for money in the industry. The beach has no service and is a public beach with cars parked all over the place — no chairs, towel service etc. The hotel is a filthy dirt road with terrible amenities, no spa, the rooms barely have any furniture. The porch has a chair and a flimsy table. It’s really a terrible experience and I hope they everyone finds out before wasting their money. We lost thousands of dollars and left the same day we arrived.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Dunas de Formentera , and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism that set the tone for a fantastic stay. The ambiance of the hotel is perfect for relaxation. The decor is tasteful and elegant, creating a serene atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. My room was spacious, immaculately clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities I could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring I had a restful night's sleep every night. We spent an amazing time at Dunas de Formentera. The hotel and the location are just ideal to unwind, slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Much needed after an intense working period! Besides, the hotel team is great, very nice and professional. We felt more than welcome. We just wish to come back!

We booked at this incredible hotel without knowing that it had must opened a week before!|They were still tweaking some things in the hotel but the place was absolutely stunning. Our stress levels dropped within seconds of arriving and we spent the following 5 days in an absolute bliss of stunning turquoise sea, beautiful pool, amazing food and incredible staff.|I think the last time I spent so much time barefoot was in the Maldives. |We are going back in July. This is an absolute must if you like a low key, high quality, Mediterranean resort.

While it is a new hotel it was such an amazing experience. The staff was so helpful and nice - especially Cesc. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to formentera. Location, rooms, restaurant and everything was perfect.
