Dunav Hotel and Restaurant

Didn't eat here. But the view of the hotel is so traditional and gives me a feeling of being in the old Serbian world. It is located beside the Danube river and has amazing view.

I think this place is good in Serbian relation. There was a nice madame in the reception. Cleanig and room facility is poor.

It consists of a hotel and a restaurant. I visited the restaurant a few times. It's huge and has a magnificent view. Polite and friendly staff prepares local and international specialities. I recommend fish delicacies. Location is accessible by car and parking is free.

I am very disappointed. I have always suggested this restaurant to my friends. That is why I though their hotel was fine. Until I stayed. Avoid it. Bathroom smells like sewer so bad that I couldn't spend more than a minute inside. The whole room smells bad because of the bathroom. I have turned the fan on but it did not help. Not to mention bugs running on the floor. The fridge is not working, also. And I could not connect to wifi. Very disappointed.

The restaurant is placed on the right bank of Danube with unobstructed views of the river. Waiters are friendly and knowledgeable. I suggest following their recommendations. I am not big on fish, but I’m glad that we listened and took fresh Zander. It was very well prepared and big bones removed in front of us. Side dishes were a perfect match. I am only sorry that I could not try house wine because of driving, but I heard very good comments from my companions.

I was very disappointed with my stay at the hotel Dunav. The rooms were dirty and full of stink bugs, which made the whole experience very unpleasant. Unfortunately, the customer service was also poor, especially the blonde woman at the reception who was very rude and unprofessional. She even tried to rip us off, which is unacceptable. However, I have to admit that there were exceptions and some of the staff members were really nice and accommodating. Despite this, the overall level of service was subpar and did not live up to my expectations. The only positive thing about this hotel is the location on the beautiful Danube river. However, this is not enough to outweigh the shortcomings in terms of cleanliness, service, and maintenance. Overall, while there were some exceptions, I would not recommend staying at the hotel Dunav as it offers poor value for money and is a disappointing place to spend your trip.
