We really enjoyed our time here—the food was delicious and the service was excellent. The staff were attentive throughout our visit. Since I’m a sweet lover, the only thing I would change is the brunch dessert, which felt a bit small and not quite as described on the menu. But everything else was wonderful, and the views were absolutely spectacular.

Beautiful location & venue. The brunch starters were good & drinks options great. The pasta was ok. They forgot to bring the salad. The dessert was disappointing. Not as described.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Incredible dining experience at Dunbar by Palomas! The seafood was outstanding, especially the freshly shucked oysters with Nam JIm and flame-kissed prawns - so fresh and full of flavour. The eye fillet with pepper sauce & truffle mash was perfectly cooked and the pan-fried barramundi with clams, green olives & tomato fregola was a seafood lover’s dream. The cocktails were sensational, with the Pink Cloud Cocktail and Watermelon Margarita being the perfect sunset sips. Add in the stunning oceanfront views, attentive service and this is the ultimate spot for drinks and dinner by the water. Can’t wait to return! 🌅🍸✨

Love their harbour view and their aesthetic vibes. They have the most affordable bottomless brunch in eastern suburb. Highly recommended!

Yelp
If you're gonna get married, you should probably do it in style. Unless you're only marrying him for his money, in which case the aesthetics don't matter as much as the means to the end I suppose. Dunbar House is a corker, it overlooks the beach at Watson's Bay next to Nielsen Park, and is a short wobble from Watto Bay Hotel which is about as good a venue for pre-reception drinks as you'll ever get. The venue is stunning but also pretty intimate, around a 100-person capacity and the tables are laden with flowers and glassware and silverware and champagne flutes and it's mad fancy, is what I'm getting at, it really makes you feel like you're a better class of person than you probably are, it did for me anyway, and there's a separate dance floor area where you can cut shapes while the rest of the people heff into dessert that you don't know has been served and when you get back to your seat someone has eaten yours and life is unfair like that sometimes.

Yelp
Have been here on 3 separate occasions for events and engagements and they have all been superb! The food servings are many, it is delectable and well presented! The staff are friendly and are prompt if you request something that they aren't serving. The view is beautiful, especially when its sunset. Great venue, will be back to try their cafe breakfast menu.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday morning around 10:30. This place has a great view! I ordered a chai latte and it took a while to get. It was just okay but chai lattes are hit or miss. My friend said that the eggs benedict was great so I tried it with ham, he got the salmon. While it was good, the hollandaise was a bit too creamy, kind of overpowered the dish. We also shared the hash brown, which was a more circular version but was really tasty. I'm sure the other things on the menu are good, but my chai was average and my eggs were just okay. View is great, good service. Overall a decent place.

Yelp
Function part of Dunbar House offers great food & service. Our daughter had her wedding breakfast there . We couldn't fault the food , the wine or the staff. I was originally concerned about the inclusive beverage package, but I shouldn't have as the waitstaff were always topping up your glass and the wine was of good quality. Also the food was first quality even for 70 or so guests. Would recommend as a great venue.

Yelp
I wanted to go watson bay hotel for breakfast at 10 but sadly they were close (what?) so I walked arund the area. Found a place like this, directly ask can I hv a look with the menu! Bingo! Egg Benedict! Bake eggs!! The whole menu is kinda my breakfast idea! I order latte n a flat white for my bf, it's alright. Food is good! Specially the bacon! It's really crispy! I order English breakfast tea after my meal, it's doesn't taste anything at all... Lil bit disappointed :( but over all i love this place what a view! Good service! Good selection of the menu (for me) I'll def go back!

Yelp
Unfortunately Michael the manager is not able to cope managing tables. Lots of empty tables, but they have bookings with no one turning up. Plates on tables, people waiting. Bit of a mess when it comes to the service of getting a seat. Could have been good, maybe this table booking system is to blame.

Yelp
Ridiculously overpriced for small portions and poor service. Although has a beautiful view but full of tourists :(

Yelp
Great location, rushed service and not very clean. This used to be a really special place.

Yelp
Popped in for Brunch on Sunday. We've heard great things about this place, and we live in the neighborhood. The feeling upon walking in the door was tense. Couldn't find the host, just a stressed out looking, grumpy maitre-d. He asked me to wait 5 minutes to put my name down or even tell me how long the wait was for breakfast. That 5 turned into 10. I saw a couple who had been seated on the patio get up and walk off after waiting to be served for god knows how long. A big group was waiting to be told if they could be accommodated, and finally the Maitre'd came out with his hands on hips, blocking the narrow front door entryway to tell them no chance they could be seated. The restaurant looked half- empty and all the waitresses were scurrying around, looking scared of this guy. I got back in the car with my partner and we headed to our favorite cafe in Darlinghurst. Didn't even get past the front door! Most unfriendly front of house I've experienced in a long time.
