"An internationally renowned center for contemporary art, DCA was key to Dundee’s comeback as a cultural hub in northeast Scotland . Set on the harbor, the center features two large-scale gallery spaces, two movie theaters, and a print studio, plus an award-winning learning program and a packed schedule of events, workshops, classes, and activities. Typical exhibitions range from an immersive installation by photographer Margaret Salmon to prints and sculptures by multimedia artist Lorna Macintyre, while films include both Hollywood and art-house pictures."
Fantastic building full of interesting little details. I’ve been to a few exhibitions in here but was only passing by in the dark on this occasion. I have to say the buildings quality still shines through in the darkness. A quality piece of contemporary architecture that Dundee should be very proud of for many many years to come. I think the Architects (Richard Murphy) have given Dundee a classic building of it time

Highly underrated and underutilised. Even just used as a cinema it's a great experience. Cheap tickets, comfortable seating, and a great selection of artistic and lesser shown titles alongside all the current big titles you'd expect.
Aside from that though the DCA is also a great artistic space, with brilliant exhibitions in the galleries frequently, well worth always checking what's on.

Great experience! It was my first visit to this place. Many things are happening in this beautiful building and I recommend you to plan your trip before giving DCA a visit. Regular movie screenings happen here and you can get those tickets at a very cheap rate. DCA was showing the latest Mission Impossible movie when I visited. An interesting exhibition from Zineb Sedira was also going on one side. I didn't visit the resto downstairs but heard they serve some good food. Do give DCA a visit if you are in Dundee. Moreover, it would be great if DCA is giving more publicity to all the events happening inside.

I ordered the feta, cherry tomato and fig tart with glazed root vegetables and red chard at £13.50.The base was a circle of pastry, not a tart, and the first layer tasted very strongly of vinegar. The figs and feta were the only things that worked in this dish. I was so disappointed. Having said all of the above the waitress was excellent. Won't be rushing back for food!!

Great arts centre in Dundee. I've only used the bar and restaurant, which were excellent but seems to have a varied programme of events and film showings.
The restaurant is excellent, both times I've visited I've had a good experience, with good food and friendly service.

Visited the place for the first time and had a nice experience. There is a cafe in the basement. The place also boasts a gallery, and cinema and regularly hosts different events. The washrooms were clean, and people around the place were friendly and helpful.
