Nov 2025. Stayed 2 nights on arrival to Belfast and a third when leaving. Very easy to book on line but the time out is short. At the time it was an aire and £18 per night. About a 90 minute walk to titanic museum, (but it is also a 45 minute walk to town to get a bus which also takes 45 minutes) and you get to see more sights by walking. Site is secure, you would need a grey waste hose or similar to use the drain.

The site was useful for visiting Belfast, good location tight on bus route which runs very regularly. ||The facility block is warm and no limit on very hot water, could do with update but clean and very useable. Small kitchen area with microwave etc ||Only part time warden so you are given key code and pitch number when booking make sure you have this for gate and toilet block. ||We slept well, had no issues with road noise

August 2025 Don’t come unannounced because they will tell you they’re full even though there was still space in the end (thanks to a very kind caretaker!). Be aware that your tent will be placed far away from the facilities and that you have to register in the Ice Bowl nearby, where very unfriendly staff will take a too high fee for camping. The site in itself is alright, but feels a bit like a prison yard.

Tent area unfortunately next to two busy streets, extremely loud. Even the ground vibrates with every passing vehicle. Quite some garbage lying around, even something like an old microwave. No common area. Laundry and dryer out of order. Toilets and showers are functional and clean. There is a small kitchen counter. No reception or anyone of the staff around. Price too high for what we got.

We felt uncomfortable during out two night stay. The positive is that the two wardens we met were both absolutely lovely and very helpful.||We were pitched on 22 - not what we booked as we booked 16 and 22 was just inside the heavy metal gate and near the shower block.||Vehicles constantly to and fro and meals being delivered to the gate regularly.||No delineation between the pitches and other campers just walked straight through pitches to get to the shower blocks - setting our dogs off barking regularly. People just walked all around us.... very disconcerting.||Some undesirable people on site - one woman very obviously totally stoned the whole time we were there.||Another woman - (the one in the 5th wheel) paid no attention to any speed limits and drove very fast around the path inside the gate.||Lots of noise from the busy road outside.||We didn't use the showers/loos so can't comment.||Beware if using public transport as the last bus back to near the site is 5pm on a Sunday and very few taxis will take dogs.. We had to almost beg a taxi driver to bring us back from Belfast.||No shops nearby.||We won't be going back.... sad as we may have had a different experience if we had been on the pitch we originally booked.

We were there for 5 days and didn't see a warden at all but we were out a lot. It's a great site. Very clean and tidy. The toilet and shower block could do with some refurbishment otherwise we would have given a higher mark. Used the nearby bus into Belfast which was very convenient. We were visiting family in Bangor and it was less than 20 minutes away by car. Would definitely return.

Perfect campsite for visiting Belfast, about £15 in taxi or bus across road. Handy for adventure golf, escape rooms and ice skating too!

Basic but more than functional. Nicely kept site with limited facilities that might be busy if the site was full. Free use of a Kettle and toaster is a nice plus. No kids play but safe enough site for s run about.
