Dune Boutique Hotel Tulum

We had a wonderful time at Dune. The hotel has a casual, down to earth vibe. We loved eating outside on the sand so much at the hotel restaurant that we just stayed at the hotel for dinner 3 out of our 5 nights there. ||What stood out the most was the service. Alex and Abraham at the front desk were very kind and knowledgeable about the area. Abraham and his brother at the restaurant were so attentive and accommodating. We also got a couples massage and our masseuses were great (Mara). ||A few things that could improve the hotel would be hooks to hand towels and a dresser to store clothes. Between the beach and bath towels, there was no where to hang them to dry which left us hanging them in awkward areas.

Superb experience! We really enjoyed the stay and hospitality. The body treatments at the spa were amazing and Gloria and Mara who gave us the massages and facials were outstanding. The staff overall is very helpful and very responsive. The spicy margaritas and tacos are so fresh and delicious. I would come back here again.

Amazing staff. Great food from the restaurant- must try octopus ceviche! The rooms are great with A/C. Location next to all of the great clubs and short walk/taxi ride to the best clubs/restaurants. The hotel itself is very tranquil and relaxing. The beach is always raked and clean. Bar staff is incredible. Yoga is offered daily and the spa is amazing. Highly recommend for your stay in Tulum!!

We were lucky enough to stumble across this absolute gem of a hotel in Tulum. ||Having arrived in Tulum we were not at all happy with our hotel in Aldea Zama and thankfully had the good fortune to come across Dune Boutique Hotel while out exploring. We had an absolutely brilliant stay here from the staff to the rooms, facilities and food we couldn't have asked for more. ||Rooms and amenities:|As with almost all beach accommodation in Tulum this is an eco hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious and well appointed with everything you could need (including bug spray). Additional items not included with your room such as an iron and hairdryer are easily requested and provided from reception. This is a beachfront hotel. |The hotel offers free yoga sessions which we really enjoyed. |There are water stations throughout the hotel for you to fill up. |Not a negative for us but useful information there are no TVs or fridges in the rooms. |Cleaning and standards throughout the hotel were exceptionally high. The hotel has its own hydroponic growing and garden area. |The hotel has a stunning spa with the very charismatic Gloria. While I didn't partake my husband had an excellent massage and Gloria kindly provided a personal photo shoot for us on the cargo net! lol!|The hotel has a reasonably sized pool and pool area for those days when the seaweed is just too much. Plenty of loungers and towels available.||Location:|As I mentioned this is a beachfront hotel around half way down beach road. Conveniently there is a GoMart just across the street. Hotel includes parking. ||Food:|We had breakfast and lunch during our stay. Breakfast is excellent with a array of choice to suit everyone. Lunch was good value for the Tulum beach area. |Drinks are fantastic with a wide ranging menu. ||Staff:|The jewel of this stunning boutique hotel - the staff. Firstly huge shout out to Alex who was a super star throughout our stay. From we initially walked through the doors until we left Alex (along with all the staff) could not do more to make our staff amazing. Alex kindly showed us each of the rooms available and gave us time and space to think over and consider our option, at no point was there a hard sell or any pressure which we really appreciated. Alex regularly took the time to check in with us and if there was anything we needed. |All of the staff from the restaurant, service staff and front of house were friendly, helpful, approachable and just hands down amazing throughout our stay. The only issue we had was that our stay was just too short. ||In summary this is an amazing small boutique, beachfront hotel. If you are looking for a quiet stay with a personalised touch this is the place. Beautifully decorated and laid out with all you could need for the beach Tulum beach stay. |We can only hope that if we are ever back in Tulum we have the good fortune to return to Dune Boutique Hotel.

Traveled with my friends and had the absolute best time at this June hotel. Cooper with the reception staff was absolutely amazing. The restaurant stuff Carlos and Abraham were so friendly so sweet and always went the extra mile to make sure we were always happy for morning tonight :-) Gloria with the massage team on the rooftop gave world class service and cannot wait to come back to this incredible hotel. Met the most most amazing people along the way incredible memories that we will hold onto for a lifetime.

Delicious food. Awesome yoga. Friendly staff. Hotel promotes practices sustainability non gmo and renewable solar energy. Overall great adult getaway from the usual hotel type...and especially luv there is NO TVs in the rooms. Lastly walk the suspension bridge above the pool!

I have stayed at the Dune Hotel on approximately five occasions and have recommended DUNE hotel to numerous friends. Unfortunately, on this trip I I found the mattress in my room to be excessively hard. After a recent surgery to my lower back, I was compelled to check out on October 26th. I requested to discuss cancellation of my trip originally planned for 4 nights and land on an agreement on the final bill, The hotel was unable to accommodate and would not allow me to discuss the circumstances with a decision maker I have included recent reviews of the hotel, which indicate that the firmness of the mattress has been a recurring issue. I was slightly disappointed by the condition of the mattress and hold Dune to a higher standard.

I had a wonderful stay at Dune Boutique Hotel Tulum and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, personalized experience. From the moment I arrived, Alex made sure I had everything I needed. Throughout my stay, Cooper, Abraham, Carlos, and Alex were all incredibly attentive and welcoming. They ensured my dietary requirements were met, which I really appreciated. My room was spacious, clean and wel equipped with all the amenities I needed. The pool was a good size and perfect for a quick dip as the sea was filled with seaweed - ( june was terrible timing for those crystal clear waters ) Breakfast was great every day – fresh, and flavorful - They grow their own organic vegetables in a fresh garden on-site. You can really taste the difference in their food. The hotel also offers free yoga classes every morning and if you’re lucky enough to have Veronica as your teacher you are in for a treat. She was absolutely superb. Overall - I had a great experience. The hospitality felt truly personalized - the property was spotlessly clean, and the food was excellent. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Tulum.
