Valet parking is $15 (if you are simply eating here) you’ll need to walk through the back of the lobby of the Ritz (look for the fountain in the middle of the court yard headed to the beach) Food wise? Fantastic! By far one of the best burgers I’ve had in Miami. Overall I like the spot, it’s more chill and quiet. At least it was at 4pm on Saturday. The view is nice, I’m honestly not a big beach person, so doesn’t matter to me. Quality of the food was great, will return!

We came in for early brunch and what an amazing spot. Not only weather was perfect but how can you complaint when you eat right in front of the beach? You cant. The atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly, cordial & super attentive! Our waitress, Paola, was so kind a super friendly with the greatest smile. The food was exactly what you need on a Sunday morning brunch. Fresh, rich in flavors & beautifully presented. Definitely recommend it, give it a try. P.S: best sweet potato fries ever!

Excellent restaurant on the beach with great burgers, fries and dessert. Very friendly and attentive staff. Down side is valet parking is $15 :/

Very busy when I went, but still a few open tables. Food took ~1hr to arrive, but was tasty! Seating was pleasant on the couch (after we moved an umbrella) and we enjoyed the sand and palm trees. I'd suggest coming on a slower week.

Google
Exceptional service, exceptional food and exceptional drinks. We had many different drinks, some we choose to have made as non alcoholic and were just as tasty. We had the skirt steak casadia, the Burger and the Snapper sandwich. All of these were top notch and delicious. The location was comfortable even in the rain. Be prepared to pay Ritz prices - I thought it was totally worth it though. Sidenote - look for Josh. Fun and amazing drink maker.

Excellent burgers for lunch served by friendly supportive attentive staff. Such a lovely lounge!

We were staying at the Ritz and decide to go to the Dune Bar to get away from some water. What a surprise it was to find Geno down there. He is an experience amongst himself and is a hoot. You'll know you're in his area where you here his notorious "clap-clap" as he commonly does often. He's been there since 1980, so expect the same personality out of him. We'd go back just to see him! Drinks fantastic (he makes his own Pina Colada mix), food we didn't order.

Google
Drove 45 min to come eat to walk in and be told there’s a private event and the restaurant is closed to the public. Won’t be coming back. Now I have to sit in an hour of traffic to get off the island and go somewhere else. Thanks for nothing

Yelp
Very nice and laid back restaurant located inside the Ritz. It was easy to access through the hotel, even though we were not hotel guests. Superfood salad with shrimp was quite tasty and the shrimp tasted fresh. French fries were good too! We went with a baby and a couple friends and there was plenty of space a for the stroller and staff was friendly.

Yelp
Great burgers! Nice by the beach for a day with good weather. Also attached to a tikki bar. Best service.

Yelp
We decided to visit Dune Oceanfront for brunch, and it turned out to be an exceptional place!  Not only was the weather perfect for dining outdoors, but the atmosphere is wonderful and the staffers are friendly & attentive, Our waitress was incredibly helpful and she had a great smile. Tip: The venue is located inside the Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne The food was completely delicious, and exactly what the doctor ordered for a weekend brunch.  Everything was fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented ;-)

Yelp
This bar is located right near the beach, just up from the adult pool. I never had the burger here, but I did try their signature Frozen Mojito, which was absolutely perfect! So many tables here, high and low, as well as seating at the bar, you can easily find a comfy spot to just chill, or have some good fun conversation with family or friends. The bartenders here are quick and friendly. They made us feel very comfortable.

Yelp
Had a really nice lunch at Dune yesterday... Ambiance is beautiful - can't beat lunch on the beach. Food is good, nothing elaborate or that special but again, everything tastes better when you're eating it on the beach. Services is impeccable and friendly. Prices aren't unreasonable for the location. I highly recommend and will definitely return.

Yelp
Great service & Gino is the Best!! A place to enjoy good American food and a beautiful view

Yelp
This attractive bar is located inside the Ritz Carlton, Key Biscayne. I had in here a Mojito and I was impressed, they did it so fast and right there in front of me. With so many fresh ingredients, the taste of these drinks was superb. The prices are great!! and the view amazing. The people here were so friendly!! and everyone here was wearing masks which made me feel safe. Thank you for the great service.

Yelp
What can you say. It's The Ritz-Carlton!!! Great service, excellent food. A little pricey but that part of the experience. Sit by the ocean in this beachfront restaurant right on the beach. Shoes optional. There is a bar which makes awesome drinks. For food we had a crab Cobb salad and traditional burger. Both delicious!!! Highly recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
This restaurant is located in the pool side area (on the left side) behind the lovely Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne. Had a wonderful time with the beautiful weather and nice breeze while sipping on my mojito. Comfy outdoor chairs with cushions and umbrellas to provide the right amount of shade. FOOD: LOVED the key crab salad. Refreshing, healthy, and flavorful. Wine and cocktails were good. SERVICE: Excellent staff as different members came by to check on us to ensure we were satisfied. Definitely returning here and need to try the other restaurants there (Cantina Beach and Lightkeepers)

Yelp
Miami's best mojito? Yep, I think so. Imagine a green slushy of tropical perfection. This is not your veggie juice stuff that you drink after a recovery run. This is meant to jolt you into a whole week of good vibes. Are you tired of closing million dollar deals? Is it time to ruminate about which hobby to pick up next? Order a mojito here and get started living your best life.
google avatar

Martha C.

Yelp
Super chill outdoor seating and bar between the pool and the beach access. Well spaced and comfortable for a relaxed feel. The frozen mojito is the house drink, and it's a refreshing cocktail! (Try it and you'll likely order another.) Food can be ordered in from Cantina if you need an accompaniment.

Yelp
Love this beach front chill spot and the Ritz-Carlton in Key Biscayne, perfect for some rosé and catching up on the weekends followed by some beach time. Burgers and salads are great and service is friendly.
google avatar

Gabby G.

Yelp
We came in for drinks at the bar and I had the best blended mint mojito! Our server was very friendly and nice and said it was the best mojito in Miami and I wouldn't disagree. I loved how all the drinks were blended and they all looked so good! Pina coladas, strawberry daiquiris, and mixed Miami Vice cocktails! I loved the restaurant on the beach with the nicest water views. Definitely a fun spot.

Yelp
The burgers are very good and substantial. Burger patty seasoned well and toppings are abundant. For instance the bacon was overflowing. The fries were cool and a bit stale, but I didn't care as was stuffed from burger

Yelp
We went here for food and drinks. We got a burrito and some cocktails Geno is awesome. He makes the best mojitos. Definitely a must try.

Yelp
Dune at the Ritz Carlton on Key Biscayne has been reopened since June, I understand. I went back for the first time since COVID this past Sunday. Geno was still behind the bar, which is great. But no bar stools. There are small high tables just off the bar that Geno still covers. Had the calamari and carrot hummus appetizers and just relaxed on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. I'll be going back!

Yelp
So after seeing our CM Diandra post pictures of delicious burgers and bevs, that in seeking a respite after (between?) hurricanes my date and I stopped by for an early dinner tonight. For starters, the palm trees and grounds were impeccable and made it hard to believe that a hurricane had passed here. We found a seat on the patio, where Rob provided us excellent service, going as far as inquiring into desserts though none were listed on the menu. He also informed us of a Sunday funday dj party which we plan to attend. Their croqueta app with cream dipping sauce was an excellent starter. The order of 5 croqueta was warm and tasty, pa piquar. Next up we decided to share their classic and chicken burgers (we each had half ). Made sweet with brie and tomato jam, the chicken burger almost edged the classic as my preferred order. The properly named classic was just that, messy delicious short rib & brisket with cheddar cheese. The side salad my date ordered was actually well flavored with tomatoes and I'm guessing balsamic. Sweet potato fries were just right crispy and provided a sweet spot to lunch. Speaking of sweets, despite it not being on the menu out waiter came through with brownies a la mode, garnished with a strawberry and caramel syrup. Did I mention it's right next to the beach with a tasty view? Definitely planning on coming back!

Yelp
I've been hearing about Dune from my friends who grew up on the Key for years, but finally made my way this weekend. What a view! Dune is a seaside burger spot that is casual chic. Not sure if that's a thing, but it is a thing at Dune. It's casual because you're surrounded by folks straight out of the water in their cover ups and beach attire. The dining tables are right on the sand, and there are even some couches and lounge furniture as well. It's chic because the decor and ambiance are beautiful. While this is a burger spot, you feel like you can relax sipping on a cocktail to the sounds of the sea and the music for hours. You also feel fancy af while doing so. Now onto the food. The menu is small and to the point - burgers are the main focus. They're burgers are made with chuck, short rib and brisket (I think) - I stopped paying attention once I saw short rib. They have a good variety of meat and seafood burgers on the list. Most of us went with the classic. It comes with cheese and bacon. It was cooked to a perfect medium and I got mine with a side salad. Don't judge me for salad, it's because I also ordered a side of loaded fries for the table. These fries were SO GOOD! Cheese, sour cream, bacon and scallions. Devoured in seconds. My sister also got the crab salad which was as beautiful as it was delicious. Really refreshing stack of crab meat with avocado. We also ordered the tuna tiradito and hummus to start. Now I totally thought my order of tuna would be the star here. Not the case. The roasted garlic hummus was to die for! Served with veggies and warm pita bread I didn't want the pita to end. Tuna was good, just not as amazing as I expected. I think maybe it needed more salt or acidity. The service at Dune was excellent. Carmen was super friendly and gave great suggestions. She also explained that the ketchup is house made and spicy. She also let us know that their pickles were made in house as well. I am obsessed with the pickles as they are briny and spicy. So much so I ordered some extra and she brought us a whole plate! Thank you Carmen for understanding my pickle obsession. The drinks here are a bit pricey- $17 cocktails, $8 imported beers, BUT it wouldn't keep me away from visiting. Dune is a beautiful space with delicious food.

Yelp
Geno is the BEST reason to patronize the Dune Beachside bar at the Ritz-Carlton. He is an institution well earned. He makes the best tropical drinks on Earth. Yummy and fancy.

Yelp
DUNE BURGERS ON THE BEACH is something interesting. This place is full of good atmosphere. You can join your lunch with the ocean view, dj music, great service and fresh food. Our experience was amazing and our server was so sweet and friendly. She made our experience so special. She have done a good job to make sure we receive the best customer service. Food and drinks are so good. We ordered Shrimp cocktail, crab salad, sweet potato fries, hummus and drinks. Everything was fresh and extremely tasty. Thank you for your time and excellent customer service!

Yelp
After checking out Cantina Beach across the resort decided to grab another drink at Dune Oceanfront Burger Lounge. I did not order any food, but I ordered a Key Lime Colada. Quality The Key Lime Colada is a frozen drink made of vanilla rum and lime flavor. It was a neat twist on a pina colada with a strong lime flavor mixed with sweet vanilla. It was a fun drink and perfect to be enjoying at a bar by the beach. Quantity The drink was very large, but as could be expected it was light on alcohol. With the size of the drink though it could be expected as more of a sipping drink than anything else. Value The drinks are pricey, but it is such a fun vibe you quickly forget about it. The views and the atmosphere make the higher prices well worth it. Ambiance Dune Lounge is near the adult pool on the Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne resort. After exiting the lobby you head outside and go straight towards the ocean. Right before you enter the beachfront area, you veer to the left and enter into the restaurant. The restaurant has a large tiki bar as the focal point. The bar has a televisions so you can catch a game, but it also provides a great view of the ocean itself. Around the bar are a combination of tables and a few couches mostly in the sand. There are several awnings providing refuge from the sun, but it would not do much for the rain. The music is everything you would in a beachfront bar, classic beach tunes ranging from country rock to golden oldies. Crowd The bar around the Dune Lounge was a much different atmosphere than across the way at Cantina Beach. It was more of an adult atmosphere with lots of couples enjoying drinks and then heading off to the beach and the pool. Everyone seemed in good spirits and the bartenders helped keep that vibe. A few kids were running around in the seated area playing in the sand, but the area was clearly split apart. Service Some of the best bartenders I have ever seen. They seemed to learn everyones name and everyones drink after just one try. I was shocked as people would walk up and they already had the drink half made. Parking If you want to park close to the hotel you have no choice but to valet park, but it is expensive. I would recommend if you are not staying at the hotel that you park near Village Green Park, which has free parking spots and taking the short, but potentially hot walk. Extra Dune Lounge is a near perfect beach bar. It is an escape from a normal Miami bar to something that should be in Key West or on the west coast of Florida. Great tunes and good drinks complete the experience. If it was just a bit more affordable it could easily become a regular spot.

Yelp
Highly recommend this place! Disappointed when we arrived at the ritz that this restaurant was closed for 2 days because of low occupancy. But the day we left we ate here for lunch! Enjoyed the calamari & the burgers are delicious!! I loved the sweet potato fries too! Highly recommend. Great burger!
google avatar

Yelp
Nice ambience but horrendous service. Fire your hostesses. I arrived and wanted to get few drinks but the hostess informed that there is a 15 -20 minute wait list. I walked around and there were more than 6 open tables and no one was apparently waiting. Another party came in and they just sat them self - nobody came to greet them. I waited at the bar area for about 10 minutes observing all the non sense. This place is a non- Ritz experience.
google avatar

Marlyn S.

Yelp
Geno!!! You are the man! Not only are you an amazing mixologist (Best Piña Colada in the World) but you protect and serve us beyond the bar. We spent the 4th of July every year at the Ritz Carlton in Key Biscayne. We were hanging out after the fireworks and some irresponsible fellas were throwing homemade fireworks on the beach right by the Dunes Hut. One blew up right next to the Hut scaring all the patrons and almost burning the Hut! Geno literally flew over the fence and stopped them dead in their tracks. If you ever have a chance to come hang for a drink and Geno- don't miss it! He's a swell guy!
google avatar

Yelp
Good solid beach food. Small menu - with more emphasis on drinks. I like to Open air dining, but wish they had fans of some sort to cool down the dining area. I had the Buffalo Burger which was well cooked, generously topped with blue cheese and an also generous portion of bacon. Service was also fast! Dessert selection was small - i had the pistachio parfait which took forever to come out - but was very good overall.
google avatar

Andrea K.

Yelp
Another amazing view at Dune! There are a few salad and burger options. I opted to have the green salad with grilled mahi mahi. It was pretty good; it didn't blow me away. However, it was a nice refreshing meal and the portions are very generous. My friend had the lamb burger wrapped in lettuce and she declared it tasty. I did have a bite and it seemed pretty good. The sangria was delicious and they get extra points for presentation. Great service at the bar and at a table.

Yelp
This is a lovely spot. The atmosphere is laidback and really chill. But be mindful there is wildlife that just walks up on you or are sitting in your seat. The view of the ocean as you sit at the bar rail that over looks the beach is stunning. The staff was very attentive. I actually chose this spot as YELP gave out the goodie bags for the YELPIES here and there was a free drink attached. As I and my sidekick were hungry we decided to have brunch. The menu had limited options I guess that's the brunch menu. Wasn't offered another option. I ordered the kids mac and cheese with fries, side house salad and the calamari. The free drink was listed as either a glass of Rose or a beer and I really wanted the Rose. But was informed that the drink was a mojito. So I had that disappointing. I also ordered a $5 kids drink that came in an insulated coffee cup, no lid with a kids cup straw? As the didn't have any kids cups really this is what is given to 2 year olds! Dune has to do better. The food was really good. The Mac and cheese was ooey gooey and my little on loved it. The calamari was crispy and well prepared. While eating and enjoying we were able to see a large iguana in the brush next to us and got a visit from a another large lizard. Other than the kids cup issue everything else was spectacular. Will visit again just hope they have kids cups.

Yelp
First things first: the atmosphere and view is absolutely breathtaking. I would give a 100 stars if I could. You're almost right at the ocean surrounded by palm trees with a nice little breeze. That's the Miami we love - you feel like you're on a mini vacay ! Service was also good and very friendly! Not giving 5 stars because I didn't love what I ate. Every once in a while I get an itch to try to be vegetarian so I ordered a chick pea "burger" which doesn't come with buns so your "anaconda don't want none" (sorry I had to). It was very spicy and not very filling - at least not filling in the satisfying way. My husband's "real" burger was a lot better. Also we were in a group and me and one of the guys ordered an iced tea. The guy said he doesn't need sugar so the waitress never brought any or asked me if I wanted sweet. I guess people just assume that women are always on a diet which is clearly not the case here. Prices aren't low but not terrible considering it's at the Ritz. Would totally return!
google avatar

Nicole S.

Yelp
Nice salad and fish of the day. Service was great! Still not up to a st Regis level food quality but much better than the other pool restaurant at this property. Much more extensive wine list as well. This is found on the adult pool side
google avatar

Trevor G.

Yelp
The Chili Lime Yucca Fries, about five slices total, are a must try appetizer! Each ingredient is so well blended and satisfying that by the time your burger arrives you don't feel let down by requesting a side salad instead of traditional fries (you know, if you're going to pretend to be healthy on your FL vacation). I moved on to the smokehouse burger topped in all of the ways you'd expect a burger of that name to be on a fluffy, buttery bun. She tried the chickpea falafel burger which was quite good for the non-beef burger category. The fifth star could be earned by more proactively addressing mosquitos, especially after dark. Appetizer, San Pel to drink, and 2 burgers with tax and 18% autogenerated tip came to ~$72.
google avatar

Karen C.

Yelp
Beautiful and so cute ...... but ummmm $22 margarita????? Not so much ...... ( granted it was yummy! ) but still wow! Happy hour prices start at 4 and it's 50% off $10 instead of $22 ( so wait for happy hour!)

Jenna S.

Yelp
Highly recommend the mahi mahi burger A++, regular burger was ehh. Good atmosphere on the beach
google avatar

Jennifer F.

Yelp
Would you get chicken at a burger place? Definitely NOT! Dune is located beachside as a part of the Ritz Carlton hotel. Their sliders were awesome and the outdoor beachside view with the white tablecloth service speaks for itself. Their staff went out the way to be accommodating even though I ordered a small lunch and sat by myself. If you're staying at the hotel or you're in the area and are looking for a relaxing outdoor place to eat I would highly recommend.

Yelp
Grab a slushy mojito from Gino and enjoy the views and weather. This guy is top notch

Yelp
Great lunchtime restaurant connected to the beach at Ritz Carlton with a good selection of family friendly items. The power salad (quinoa, spinach, beets, and goat cheese) paired really well with blackened mahi. The burrata with pumpkin honey was unique, but the bread was a little too toasted. The veggie burger was kind of like a falafel on a bun - refreshing and light with a Greek tzatziki yogurt dip that everyone enjoyed. Excellent service and the frozen mojito, while not on the menu, is a must-order.
google avatar

Reina D.

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Had the shrimp quesadilla which was delicious. The best thing about this place? Best frozen mojito ever, by the best bar tender ever. Go visit Gino and you will never forget him.

Yelp
This is a beautiful place to eat at. I had the Dune Breeze cocktail and the Snapper sandwich. The food took a little long to get to our table but it was good.

Yelp
Was there last week. Fantastic fun beach bar. Had the foie gras burger sliders and a Bass ale. Staff was alert and quick even on such a hot day Foie gras burger sliders prepared perfectly. French fries were fresh and hot. Great service, lovely day!

Yelp
I am in love with this place, it is paradise on earth. Amazing burgers and salads by the ocean with 5* service. Well worth the price!!

Yelp
One of a kind location on the beach. Friendly staff, delicious salads that taste fresh. 4 stars not 5 because there was a $40 mistake on our check - which was quickly fixed by the waitress.

Yelp
food poisoning. warning ate hummus and also turkey burger. food poisoning. atmosphere nice but management not paying attention to food quality.

Nory B.

Yelp
Roberto really took care of us at this great outdoor bar on the edge of the beach! He was very friendly and kept an eye on our drinks so that every time our glass was empty he was there to see if we wanted another drink! And the drinks (vodka martinis and 3 of their specialty cocktails) were strong and good! The French fries were great also! It is pricey, but it's The Ritz! Only detractor was the music the dj was playing--it was a little too generic 70's and 80's mix. Supposedly the burgers are awesome, but we were drinking our dinner, not eating, so next time! Lol
google avatar

Laura B.

Yelp
I love this place for drinks and hang out. You're practically lounging on the beach. I went because I had a craving for burgers and a beach view. Though the service was outstanding the burgers were ok. Good, but not as good as I expected for such a nice hotel and for a "burger place". However, I did feel good and had a great time. Would go back mainly for the relaxed ambiance rather than the burger, which I enjoyed non the less. Sorry I have no pictures. Was busy chatting with my friend. ‍

Yelp
The Dunes at the Ritz on Key Biscayne is one of my favorite places to spend Sunday Funday. One of Key Biscayne's best kept secrets, The Dunes is a fab burger bar with plush white couches, amazing bar tenders, and chill house music. The burgers are delicious and enormous (they better be for the price tag they are sporting). I always get the turkey burger with brie which is so juicy. The fries are amazing...I don't know what oil the fries are cooked in, but they are to die for. Also, the manchego cheese appetizer is really good. If you sit at the bar and don't want to spend money on food, the bar tenders will bring you flat bread with some sort of tomato dip and olives. Very yummy. Enough about food, onto the drinks. Every single drink that I have ever had at The Dunes has been phenomenal. My personal favorites include the frozen blueberry mojito, the super spicy michalado, and the pina coladas. The Dunes has a great selection of beers for all the beer drinkers out there. If there is a drink that you want that is not listed on the menu, I guarantee that Tony or Mario (2 of the bar tenders) will know how to make it. The service is the best (it is a Ritz so it should be top notch). My boyfriend is a vegetarian, and while there are no veggie burgers on the menu, the chef was able to make him one of the most delicious veggie burgers that he ever had. Besides the food and drinks being amazing, the atmosphere is killer. The Dunes is right on the beach and has the perfect SoBe vibe without being in SoBe. On Sundays starting around 3, they have a DJ spinning house music. Every time I have guests in town, I always bring them to The Dunes, and every time my guests always say "I cannot believe this is how you spend your Sundays!" The Dunes really makes you feel like you are on vacation even if you are not. Overall, The Dunes has great food and drinks, but it is very expensive (I'm talking $16-$20 for a burger); however, taking into account the experience, I think it is well worth the price tag. The Dunes is not as wild as SoBe (although I did see Brooke Hogan at The Dunes haha). You will definitely see families with children eating at the plush white couches. I prefer to spend my Sundays doing something like this as opposed to going to Nikki's Beach. The Dunes is definitely worth the toll and the drive over the bridge.

Yelp
Great spot on the waterfront at the Ritz. While the menu was limited due to covid, we loved the views and the experience. Geno was knowledgeable and enthusiastic! We loved having him as our server.

Yelp
Fantastic view! Bartender Josh is a cool dude. Try one of their infused specialty cocktails! Can anyone send a pic of the cocktail menu? Want to make at home!

Yelp
We dined here while staying at the Ritz thoroughly enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere and wonderful location. I will say the location alone would be worthy of 5 stars! Ambiance: The Dunes is a causal outdoor restaurant located steps away from the beach. There are various seating options - from comfy couches to regular tables - which allow for a great experience regardless of the occasion. There was a DJ playing house music that added to the laid back atmosphere and provided a great soundtrack for enjoying a light dinner and drinks. I would imagine this place must be quite popular during "peak" season. Service: The service was great. Our waiter came by frequently and was very helpful and friendly. Food: The menu somewhat limited with the primary focus being their burgers. There are 2 somewhat "weak" salad options so I would not consider this to be a very vegetarian friendly option, especially since there was no note stating they would prepare a veggie-burger on request. The burgers were extremely good though and tasted amazing. We had a hard time deciding what to order! I wouldn't say that the burgers are huge (they are tall though with all the toppings!) but are certainly an ample portion. The fries were hot and fresh but I wouldn't say they were anything special. Prices: Expect to pay at least $20 for a burger and fries here. Certainly not for the budget conscious!

Yelp
Too loud. Bumping techno music. Obviously scenic - amazing location right on the water. Comfort food, service and bar are get you through the experience.
