Kitchen and bathroom was extremely dirty. |We were abruptly kicked of the kitchen out at 9pm when we had just finished our food. The hob was filthy and extremely slow. |We were told to hurry up by staff as we were told to leave.|TV room also closes at 9pm so you’re more or less stuck in your camper like a bold child at 9pm on the dot. |100% would not recommend this place and avoid at all costs

Old but good. Cabin clean and comfortable. We parked our caravan next to the cabin our family were staying in. Laundry did a good wash and dry. Showers were busy but water was hot and the room clear. For me the care in finding a cabin and site for caravan close was outstanding. Thank you.

I had to attend a family funeral in Dunedin, so a booking was made at very short notice, we booked a Motel unit I have stayed in many establishments around the globe over forty plus years some excellent, some just good, some cheap, some expensive, some bad, and a few exceedingly awful....The check in check chick (sorry do not know her name) & Dunedin Holiday Park & Motel Park certainly exceeded my expectations, my unit was very comfortable and spotlessly clean ( I always look ). The bed was also very good, a nice sound sleep was had, the hot water was very hot, plentiful and at a very good pressure ( no weak piddle out of this shower head). Now for the nitty gritty, having lived by the sea for a good part of my life I know how the elements can externally punish buildings very badly, so I was not put off by the appearances of a few, any owner would have to spend a small fortune annually for upkeep and it looks like they do a pretty decent job for the whole park. So all in all an excellent stay, with what seemed a nice friendly team, I / we will stay again any time without hesitation, so five out of five all the way, thankyou.

This has always been a go to for my parents. Sadly they will not be returning. They took our daughter to stay for two nights, got a 2 bedroom unit like usual. They had two towels and went to reception for more since there were 3 of them. Charged $3 extra per towel and they were to last the two nights. Heater was absolutely useless for heating the space. One bed was made up in one room and in the second they had to make up the double bunk and single on top. Blankets didn’t even cover the mattress properly either. On one bed the mattress protector was falling apart also. After two short showers the water then ran cold and they had to wait the next day. Rooms were filthy and need a deep clean. I’m not sure why the standard has slipped but they were very disappointed and will not be returning again. Such a shame because this was such a gem of a spot. Overpriced now, what you pay here you could get an awesome hotel/motel room

This place credits itself on being open since the 1920s and possibly hasn’t been renovated since then. Bathrooms are freezing and I was greeted by actual pellets of poo sat atop the toilet seat. Seagulls stalk you at the slightest promise of food (in hoards) and the walk to the bathroom is down a terrifying alley past the horrific smell of the kitchen. I’m certainly not adverse to budget options but this is one of the sketchiest places I’ve ever stayed.

Their laundry and kitchen will closed after 9pm. Passcode required to enter their toilets. I think these are implemented to prevent non guests to use their facilities. Other than these, all their facilities are great and they also allow after reception hours check in, and coins are able to be exchanged at reception desk for laundry purpose.

This holiday park has an interesting atmosphere and is located a bit outside of town. We stayed for one night in a self-contained cabin and found it to be clean and comfortable. There aren't the same amenities that you find at other holiday parks in New Zealand, but it is a good option for a short stay.

Great value for money for short stay while we are on our journey around south new zealand island. A bit dark during the night. Room a bit small but clean. Not much choices for campervan in the city of dunedin.
