Dunes Blanches chez Pascal Bordeaux

Small bakery that only sells and specialises in one sort of small pastry - which was incredible! They're crispy on the outside while being filled with an airy cream. They're so light that you can easily polish off multiple yourself! We had the original one and the chocolate flavour - both were delicious but I think I preferred the original

Delicious Dunes Blanches, a must try if in Bordeaux. We visited on a pastry tour (which I would also highly recommend). Plenty of coffee shops nearby to pair with your pastry.

Really good. Not only did we go back immediately to get another portion, we returned the next day The seasonal flavour ones were meh, the chocolate wasn't rich. Dark chocolate wasn't sweet at all and that makes it nowhere near as good as the original The original really is something. It's got crispy bits of cereals for texture, and there's good flavour too. Something special, different from your usual Choux. Unfortunately there's this savoury egg smell, it's well hidden and so doesn't rlly affect the experience too much, but it's there

This is a pastry absolutely must to try in Bordeaux. I work as a guide and we always stop here with my guests. Never people stay neutral, just amazed

The most fabulous dunes blanches. Crunchy exterior and as advertised light and airy cream filling. The blueberry one was heavenly. I wish these traveled well because my kids would have loved them too.

A cute little shop with the most delicious pastries ever! If you are coming to France make sure to stop by this shop, as it will be worth it! We loved them so much we had to go back and get more. In other shops you can get them with vanilla, but in my opinion it is not the same. The pastry is delicately resembled, and to top it off, the delicious light cream. Best thing ever! Also, the price is pretty good, considering they are €1 euro per pastry.

Etienne was awesome! The pastry was indeed delicious and simply melted in your mouth. But what the experience even more memorable was the wonderful manner, smile and hospitality of Etienne! Well done!!

Best pastries in Bordeaux so far! A must try! You’ll not find it in US!
