"Day-Tripping in the Eastern Townships Few other places near Montreal can offer rolling hills, quality products, and incredible fall foliage like the Eastern Townships. Just under an hour from downtown, the Dunham area boasts some of the best views and hiking opportunities in the entire province, as well as dozens of wineries (including a wine route for more motivated visitors), cycling paths, locally-sourced eateries, and all-around beauty. The Townships really are the best and most accessible way to appreciate the beautiful panorama of autumn. If the weather is nice, rent a car and head south for a taste of what the Quebecois hospitality really is about, in a setting so lovely you won't want to leave."

Yelp
Followup....upon returning to Brasserie Dunham when visiting again, we had pretty much the exact same lackluster experience. We tried to go to the Sutton Brewery but they were packed, so ended up at Dunham again. Again, the waitress was rude, non-knowledgeable and stand-offish. You have to get your own water and it took forever to get our food. The poutine was so so and again, luke warm and the cheese never melted. Again, the beer is good but that's about it. The service and the food are meh and it's WAY WAY overpriced. Our 3 piece family got 2 beers, a veggie burger and two poutines....oh and an apple juice...and with tip it was over $100 Canadian. Offensive. We will remember next time and not return again even if everything else is full. Thumbs DOWN!

Yelp
I'm not a beer fan, but my husband is and he's a fan of the Dunham Microbrasserie, so, being in the area for a wine tasting at the vignoble des côtes d'ardoise, we just had to make a stop. It helped that it was a beautiful Sunday afternoon and we could sit outside in their very pleasant outside sitting area. Hubby and our friends had beer, I had my usual diet cola, and their fries with beer mayo which was very very yummy! All in all, I would love to go back again soon... its just a bit of a drive from Montreal!

Yelp
Beer is fantastic, food leaves a little to be desired. Service is ok, nothing to write home about. Nice outdoor space and a separate store for takeaway beer.

Yelp
Very pleasant space with a choice of atmospheres - the attractive bar, outdoor seating in season, or the little side pub for just-beer or limited-menu. The full menu is short but varied enough to suit most. Choice of soup or salad came with the entrees. I adored the fresh, cilantro-y gazpacho. Salad had goat cheese and just a touch of fried onions. Wild mushroom ravioli came heavily laden with gorgonzola. The beers tend to be on the bitter side. Service was friendly, but getting our check took a long time.

Yelp
How lucky could I possibly be? Back in 2013 I attended the Burlington Vermont Brewers Festival and first came across Dunham Brewery. Instantly I was a huge fan. Leo's Early Breakfast for many of us was hands down the best beer of the event. From that moment on, I knew I needed to get to this brewery. I live in the US, but have family that lives in Granby QC. Granby is just a short drive to Dunham. On my most recent trip we made plans to visit the brewery. We decided to go on a Friday night. We quickly learned that the following day was going to be the 3rd anniversary party. We were having such a great time sampling all of the beers, talking with the brewer, and remembering the great time we had in VT, we decided to come back again on Saturday for the big party. The 3rd Anniversary party had a great turnout. Many people arrived to pick up their pre-ordered beer for the special bottle release. Others waited in line in hopes to get a few of the remaining bottles. Following the bottle pickup, there was a truly unique beer dinner. For the price they were charging with all of the courses and beers included it was easy to see that this was a big "thank you" to it's customers. The dinner was fantastic. Many of the items served were works of art and science. Candied grape tomatoes, gel of Leo's Early Breakfast, beads off sauce to accompany the steak, etc.. Live music in the bar closed out the night. What a celebration! Anniversary or not, Dunham Brewery is a great spot. Stop by and sample some of their world class beers.

Yelp
So far I've been to the Brasserie Dunham twice. The first time my friend and I split a 4 sample beer tray and the beer we chose were not my favourite, the second time I tried a singular beer and I found it quite yummy. So I believe it's all in the kind of beer you choose... Which is quite difficult considering the wide selection they have. I don't think they have their own kitchen which is kind of disappointing but on my last visit there was a food truck parked just outside that was serving some awesome sandwiches. The staff are all friendly and helpful when you aren't sure about the kind of beer to order. All in all a nice place to visit.

Yelp
Home of the Dunham Brewery making the delicious beers that get sipped in fine brew establishments like Vices et Versa in Montreal, mild and wild and meady concoctions, like Leo's Early Breakfast with earl grey tea, or the whiskey barley wine, or the darlin double dose. This pub therefore starts out ahead with a sweet list of fresh home brew, and then rockets even further forward with bonus features like an excellent foozball table, cool art, comfortable big wood tables and chairs, friendly staff who are generous with the samples, cool live music, all in one of the cutest towns you ever did see. So that's a full 5 stars for me, can't wait to return!

Yelp
Lots of good beers to try! I was disappointed that there were no stouts or porters on my visit as the beers that are available often change. I did, however, have the pleasure of trying a couple of really great IPAs, my favorite of which was Leo's breakfast IPA. I ended up taking home a bottle of the saison framboise which was also very tasty. The servers were friendly and knowledgable. I'd definitely recommend stopping in for a flight of great beers!
