Walmart Introduces New, Higher-End $7 Coffee

"A national coffee-and-donut chain already dominates the mainstream, everyday coffee market and is widely seen as having effectively cornered mass-market coffee marketing, making new midmarket moves less disruptive." - Chris Crowley

It’s Time to Remember That Fast-Food Companies Are the Worst

"A nationwide coffee-and-donut chain referenced as a reliable, affordable source of coffee that some people, including the author, seek out despite acknowledging its mediocre quality, highlighting how accessibility and habit drive many fast-food choices." - Chris Crowley

The employee's are all so warm & professional. The store is always clean. Sometimes service is a bit slow as they focus on the drive thru and forget about the walk ins but when they get to you you will receive good service. I love their grilled cheese but sometimes if you get later in the day they are very hard for some reason. Not sure if they make earlier in day and reheat but they are almost not edible. They always package products very well when taking out. The new holiday munchkins are awesome.

Google
Only reason I am giving a 4/5 is because they need more people working on weekends. At least 3. I have been standing in line for 20 minutes and did a mobile order and when upon receiving my food it was completely cold. Workers are very nice and professional. This specific place just needs more than two people on weekends

What is up with the morning weekday crew here? Is there a manager in the morning time or do i need to take this up with corporate. They are rude and always rushing things. Hire better people. The Easter African lady who wears a hijab is the only polite and patient person I’ve met at this location. This location is on my way to work which is why I stop here but I don’t know how much more disrespect and attitude I’m willing to take

Carlos

Google
Hate writing reviews, but corporate needs to step in and retrain this team. As someone who grew up with a DD on every corner in Massachusetts this was underwhelming. I first ask for 2 avocado toast w/bacon and loaded hash-browns. I ask the cashier for them to be extra toasted, or well done and she told me they can’t do that? Since when?! That’s how I ALWAYS get my order. After excessive wait time the toast is given to me and the order is wrong and cold. No seasoning, no bacon and extremely burnt bread. They go to fix the order and the bacon she put on it was cold as well. I’m not understanding how the wait time was so long and the food still came cold? The hash browns were warmish. Went to ask for my money back but the lady returned the food to me as I was asking. SMH

It was my first time at Dunkin yesterday, lady taking my order in the drive thru was rushing my order and when I got to the window she looks frustrated. Made no big deal about it figured she wasn’t having a good day. I went again this morning and got the same service she rushed my order and had an attitude, once I got to the window I was already upset with the attitude she gave me. To top it off she said very loud and clear “UGH I HAVE A HEADACHE “ like ok I get you don’t feel good but should’ve stayed home instead of bring that nasty attitude to work and let it out on PAYING CUSTOMERS.

Google
This is the only Dunkin anywhere near my house and work. There is ALWAYS something wrong with my order. Numerous times I’ve ordered sandwiches with NO CHEESE, only to be given a sandwich that is just bread and bacon, nothing else, no egg; or I’ll end up with a sandwich with cheese on it. I’m routinely given the 10 count munchkins with less than 10 and I ask for assorted with powdered and I’ll either get all powdered or no powdered. I work in customer service so I get how it is, I never expect super peppy service (who can keep that up all day every day) but the service is lacking at this location. If I could go to a different location, I would. As it stands I’ve lessened the frequency of my visits.

Tahlana S.

Google
I do NOT leave google reviews, so the fact that I’m compelled to is telling. This location is constantly out of half of their menu, however, I can understand that is not the fault of any of the present employees. It’s the service that is the issue. At the drive-through I have gotten nothing but attitude every time I’ve gone. Little mistakes here and there are normal I completely get it. But when I very patiently bring a mistake to their attention and they have the audacity to look and talk to me crazy instead of owning up. That’s insane. I (again) do not leave Google reviews, but I genuinely do not recommend this location until they’ve had some kind of customer service training. It’s ridiculous.

dave B.

Google
The service here is very subpar. I walked in. There was nobody else in there. I stood there waiting for someone to acknowledge me. There are three employees standing over by the drive-through window. I can hear one of them is clearly taking a drive-through order. I kept waiting & finally one of them said I'll be will be with you in a minute. Kept waiting, kept waiting, I got tired and walked out.

Yelp
Sadly Dunkin' has really gone downhill over the years in my opinion. What was one of my favorite places as a child has become almost intolerable for me as an adult. It had been awhile for me, but I was tasked with bringing breakfast for a work meeting. I brought tacos from the place across the street from Dunkin' and donuts from Dunkin'. I noticed everyone at the meeting that got donuts had taken just a bite or two and not eaten any more. When I addressed the elephant in the room, everyone spoke about how good Dunkin' had been years ago but now they were not. One woman even laughed and said she had wondered if I had bought them the night before the meeting. It was a bit embarrassing, thanks Dunkin'! Being a glutton for punishment, I went again this morning hoping that my visit last week was just a fluke...sadly it was not, this morning's were worse than last week's. Review #2143

Yelp
Since today's apparently the day for brutally honest reviews, here's mine. We stopped by after a bike ride, like we've done many times before. Even yesterday felt off, someone from corporate was there, checking in, and the vibe was weird. We didn't see our usual crew, but hey, change happens. I've always believed that as long as Jovan, the longtime manager, was around, the place could stay solid. Well, turns out he's moved on to another store, and everything here is new. I support fresh starts, but not like this. We placed our order, and when I went to pick it up, the receipt wasn't with it. I waited, hoping someone would check in. No one did. So I asked the nearest staff member, a teenager with zero customer service skills. She looked around and said she didn't know where the receipt was. I asked if she could reprint it. Her response? "I don't know how." I suggested she ask a manager. She rolled her eyes, clicked her tongue, and walked off. A minute later, she came back saying the manager didn't know either. Apparently, they're all new. What really got me? The manager didn't even come out to see what was going on. I get that new staff need time to learn, but this was just pure unprofessionalism. No apology, no effort to make things right. We left. And it sucks, this used to be our spot. But not anymore. It wasn't just us. A DoorDash driver was standing around waiting. They gave him one bag, forgot the second, and when it was finally ready, no one told him. He just stood there. No one called out names for orders. No one seemed to care. The music was off, so you could hear everything, including staff talking about me after I walked away. In a quiet store. Seriously? To whoever's reading this: check your team, get a personable manager, and bring back the energy this place used to have. Dunkin' won't run on this kind of attitude for long.

Yelp
Stopped in here today and the young gentleman who helped me at the counter was super friendly even though they were really busy. My donut was also very fresh.

Yelp
I am so shocked by the reviews. I go here often and I've never had a bad experience. Everyone is always so nice and friendly ! I'm truly shocked. My drinks always made to my liking. Great service!

Karla V.

Yelp
As far as product goes, glad the cup was filled up - I'll give them that! My one star is due to lack of customer service. I greeted the young man at the drive-thru window and he did not bother to say anything back lol then he proceeded to have conversation with the rest of the team while having his back face me. Note, it was not busy, I was the only car, so conversation with team was definitely not an urgency.

Kendall M.

Yelp
Great service/ staff, but everytime I come here they are out of stock of SOMETHING. One week it's some flavor they have out of stock the next week it's a snack out of stock. They've been out of stock of Kolaches for weeks. There's a better DD on Coit 7 mins away.

Yelp
I am disgusted by the visit on 6/11/23. The server's hands were dirty with black soot and oil. I cannot believe he didn't wash his hands for the shift. I did not drink my purchase. I asked to speak to a manager and he said there was not one on duty. I sent an email to Dunkin support regarding the unsanitary conditions. I have not had a response at this time. This is an important note that I hope does not get hidden within the algorithm.

Yelp
I got a bit anxious when I passed by this location coming from the opposite way, already knowing I had to u-turn to get in the long line. It was blocking the whole intersection and people were having to go around the standstill vehicles waiting to get into the drive thru line. This location is ONLY offering drive thru right now. However, the employees working today were jumping! They moved us all right along, although people just kept on coming. When I grabbed my drink as the lady handed it to me, I made sure to tell her that she is amazing and thanks so much! I decided to go with a medium iced coffee with pumpkin swirls. Tasted great! I'm a pumpkin fan though. Great experience!

Yelp
This place looks like it's been here forever. Small drive thru area, that is set up old school and without the thought of traffic. The way you access the drive thru is from the busy Main Street of Preston and corner of Alpha. Plus if you have a low profile car, BUYER BEWARE they have the grandfathered in road steel bumps that can mess up your tires and wheels if you are not careful. When we got up to the drive thru, it was about a 10 minute wait time (unbelievable) We could not even bail out bc the turn of the driveway was too narrow and it was at a few feet higher than the drive thru parking lot if Jack in the box so practically we were trap and had no choice. Once we got up to the window, we were told that the Pumpkin latte was sold out and that their coffee boxes were also all sold out at 8:30am??? Unorganized and a cluster you know what. We took off to another dunking donuts in Lakewood where they had their stuff together and service was a bliss.

Yelp
Geez, I've seen some harsh recent reviews of this place, but I guess I got lucky when I visited on Sunday morning, Dec 5. On the day I visited, I came up from Alpha, because I knew it would be easier to approach from this street. Sure enough, I turned the corner & the drive-thru line was in the street, which would mean, if I joined it, I'd be almost at the intersection. No thanks. I pulled into Jack-in-the-Box (sorry, Jack) and walked over, AFTER placing my order on the app (so smart, heehee). I ordered an almond milk vanilla latte, avocado toast & some donuts for my grandson. He & I entered and the crew behind the counter were really rushing around getting the drive-thru orders, but it was quiet inside. There were only a couple of people in front of us, finishing up so we moved to the front quickly. I told them I was there to pick up an app order. A young man asked if I had a vanilla latte & I said I did. He said there's your drink, I'm getting the rest of your order. I picked it up and it was very hot. I verified that it was made with almond milk - he said it was. They handed us our order quickly & everything was fresh and very good. I thought the staff was pleasant. The restaurant was spotless & we enjoyed sitting in the easy chairs, enjoying our meal while the cars drove thru the line. I don't live very close to this location, but it is the only one near me for miles, so I hope my next visit is a perfect. Fingers crossed!

Yelp
Driving by I thought "I haven't had Dunkin' in years. A donut sounds good." Glancing up at the menu screens it lists all the coffees and drinks and food, everything but donuts. I ask the girl behind the counter how much the donuts are. "One donut? $X." "What about munchkins?" "It depends. They're between 5 and 50." "Do you have a...menu? Your screens don't list the prices." At this point both employees turn around stare blankly at the screen like they've never been here before and can't decide what they want. "Umm, we'll, I guess, uhh." "You know what? Never mind." I remember now why I hadn't been to Dunkin' in years. Can't imagine I'll ever go back. Thanks for the confirmation, guys!

Yelp
Only DRIVE THRU service NO INSIDE service Just moved here from NYC and all dunkins are open for inside service. Blown away that this only has drive through and allows you to order ahead of time for pick up inside and you can not even go inside. Will not be back to this Dunkin.

Olivia R.

Yelp
Wow. This is probably the last straw for me with this location too many times where they often forgot a item or gave me something wrong or missing. Now they are serving bad food along with bad service. Not only did I have items missing from my order I'm pretty sure they grabbed the worst/oldest items to throw in my bag. Everything was wrong & it looked my napkins were used before they threw them in my bag. Never going back.

Yelp
Love me some good Dunkin' Donuts coffee. And the one on Preston Rd Dallas, TX is my favorite location. They do a great job with consistently serving fresh coffee and providing excellent customer service. I drive all the way from Allen just to get my caffeine fix from here. Even when I've gotten drive thru, they never disappoint. They make sure my coffee is just the way I like it! Recently, I made a stop to get some coffee with my sister on our way to the Galleria Mall. Our coffee, was really good and the manager even gave me some almond milk(which is included in some beverages) but check with your other locations. For those who love drinking coffee, they'll understand why I'm so obsessed over this Dunkin' Donuts location! Their donuts and bagels are really good too. I usually get the toasted sesame seed bagel with cream cheese or a glazed donut. If you haven't tried the hash browns yet, you're missing out. I could have breakfast here every morning. There are a lot of fancier coffee places but nothing beats a classic cup Dunkin' coffee.

Yelp
Not good, How do you charge someone's card and never put the items i asked for literally they gave me an empty bag‍wow

Yelp
Horrible service when I ordered a wrap it took so long waited a couple minutes people on their phone laughing and wasn't as busy as I thought it would. As soon as I recieved it it can like this this is horrible service burnt wrap and all

Yelp
I have been going to this Dunkin for 7 years and I am there almost every day. The staff is very friendly and they know my voice when I go through the drive-thru and then know my order. I do miss going in and sitting inside but times change and now get it to go. I have been ordering the Beyond Sausage sandwich since in came out. I feel it tastes better than regular sausage and always get a coffee iced in summer hot in winter. I just want to say thanks to all the Dunkin staff for making my mornings special.

Yelp
Fast service, good drinks.. the iced coffee mocha with liquid sugar is pretty amazing.

Autumn K.

Yelp
I don't normally come to DD but this day I wanted hot chocolate and donuts. And they hard of hearing very rude and my got chocolate was watered down. I asked for 4 donuts and received 3 donuts and when I told her she asked if I was sprinkles or not I said no sprinkles and she gave them to me anyway keep in mind she asked twice. I just won't be returning to this location the vibe are not it.

Natalie S.

Yelp
Employees completely rude I could hear them complaining about me putting in an order right before pulling through the drive thru saying "I can't expect my order to be ready that quick when I just put my order in" at no point did I complain or ask or expect anything...I just pulled through the drive thru like I normally would. I'm in the service industry and it was completely rude and uncalled for the way that was handled especially complaining openly and out loud to where I could hear her from my car. I apologized for her thinking I expect my order so quickly before pulling away but she seemed angry and unhappy with her job. I only rang my order while waiting in the line to get my points through the app and make it easier for both parties.
google avatar

Deja V.

Yelp
I don't know why all the negative reviews but my order and services was fine and no issues. Got my normal breakfast - turkey sausage , egg and cheese on McMuffin along with my ice coffee as how I requested. Quick service and decent staffs working there. Never had an issue with the services

Kylee F.

Yelp
I don't know how else to explain this other than they gave me an iced coffee without the coffee. I typically order from this location and it's no problems so i even tried it bc maybe they just put more than usual but absolutely no trace of coffee, they literally gave me a large cup of almond milk. this picture is it compared to my white blanket.
google avatar

Christine S.

Yelp
If you're going to pay four dollars for a cup of coffee, it needs to deliver. I ordered a mocha latte this morning and when I got it there was an inch left of room in the cup and it wasn't hot. It's not like there was whipped cream or anything there, they just didn't remotely get it close to the top and I didn't realize it till I had already pulled away and the line was wrapped around the corner. Four dollars for a cup of coffee and it needs to be filled up and not already be cool. Also I realize that the people at the window are just doing their job, but it's always really nice when you roll up somewhere in the morning to get your coffee and they're extremely friendly. Any time I roll through this location, I don't even get a smile right hello or have a nice day.
google avatar

Andy p.

Yelp
It was my first time trying Dunkin' Donuts and it was okay, it didn't get much time but I wasn't wowed , the iced caramel macchiato is overly sweet I would not recommend getting it or order it without sugar if you don't it tooo sweet
google avatar

Ida S.

Yelp
I am definitely a fan of Dunkin Donuts! Being originally from the east coast, Dunkin Donuts is all over. Even with the Starbucks empire, Dunkin Donuts still reigns in the East Coast. I have visited this particular Dunkin Donuts a couple of times. I unfortunately I am not able to visit more often because it is not that close this location. Everytime I do visit there is hardly a crowd maybe one or two other individuals or small groups. The coffee is delightful and really tastes sweet and bold. The staff is quite friendly. I would say one con is that they either run out of different types of donuts or they don't make a lot of it because they are not a high volume store. Other than that, I really do like Dunkin Donuts and believe that it is a great coffee spot to try!
google avatar

Laura R.

Yelp
Location says open at 5am but the woman working would not open the dining room so you're forced to go through the drive through. Service couldn't take long enough. Maybe they were short staffed if I'm giving her the benefit of doubt....
google avatar

Luis A.

Yelp
AVOID THIS SHOP. Received a few coupons in the mail so we thought we'd check it out. We normally go to our neighborhood donut shop but thought we'd use these coupons, was that a big mistake. Donuts were thrown around in the bag and the icing came off. The iced chai latte still had powder in it and this was after we stirred it ourself. Very bland. I will be asking for a refund.
google avatar

Maxwell Z.

Yelp
One of the worst locations for Dunkin' in Dallas. Went through the drive thru at 4:30pm and it is not easy to place your order. Had to repeat the order twice only to pull up and find the wrong drink. In addition, I ordered munchkins and they were rock hard when I got them. Shouldn't be serving stale product no matter what time of day! I will say the am crew is much better here than afternoon crew. The people in the afternoon here seem like they don't want to be bothered at all...
google avatar

Christian C.

Yelp
While I was waiting to place my order at the counter a woman with a face full of metal grabbed a donut and put it in her mouth bare handed. She turned around and asked me what I wanted. No thank you and walked out.
google avatar

Esha E.

Yelp
Lady : May I take your order Me: Hi can I have a medium caramel frozen coffee Lady: (repeating me) Medium Caramel frozen coffee Lady: What size Me: Medium Lady: Caramel ? Me: yes I pull to the window Lady: What flavor did you say Me: Caramel (now I'm annoyed) SERIOUSLY WTF!!!!!!!

Yelp
This Dunkin leaves a lot to be desired. It's pretty difficult to get to if you're coming off of 635 and then getting in and out is a tight squeeze since they seem to share a drive through area with a fast food joint. There's always a wait which is expected but the staff seems quite apathetic. The other day I ordered an iced coffee and I didn't hear the woman say my order so I went up and asked. She didn't know what my order was and started waving down the cashier saying "Hey, hey you" which means the staff doesn't even know each other. I don't see any trust falls and team building in their near future.
google avatar

Marty F.

Yelp
I go to Dunkin a couple times a week for their Beyond Sausage sandwich and an Iced coffee. Stopped by today and the said they no longer carry it. Then why is it still on the menu? I left and went across the street to Starbucks and got an Impossible Sausage sandwich. Guess I'm done with Dunkin' and will now be a Starbucks customer.
google avatar

Anthony S.

Yelp
When ordering inside, this isn't a bad Dunkin' at all. That's the problem though - that's whenever they open the inside up for the public to eat/drink at. Their open time on the door states 6am, but if you arrive anytime before 7am, you have to wait at the locked door for 5-10 minutes for one of them to notice you from way behind the counter, and then they just motion a lasso at you (meaning go around the building for drive-thru). I don't want the drive through though, I want to sit and relax before work. I've arrived after 7am twice now with it still closed as well. I'm not sure how you're supposed to know when the dining room opens, but there is no separate time listed for that, so it seems that maybe they're understaffed so they keep it closed until more show up? I'm not sure, but because this place is so unreliable with their openings, I've just stopped going entirely. I don't want to waste my time by parking and standing at the door for 10 minutes only to be motioned to that I need to go through the drive thru way after opening time.

Jasmine R.

Yelp
I would've enjoyed this place if it wasn't for the rude employee who just seemed like she didn't want to be there. This was my first time ever trying Dunkin, so I order what I usually get at Starbucks. She asked me a question but I didn't know the answer to. Which is fine, but she talked to me like I was dumb. I asked for two sugar free vanilla ice coffees, she asked me if I wanted creamer. I thought the sugar free vanilla was the creamer so I told her no. When I got to the window and saw the coffees black, i asked if she can sale me a cup Of creamer, she then closed the window and started talking about me on the headset. Next time you should lower your voice or wait in to the customer leaves because I definitely herd you guys. And that's why I'm writing this review because that was very disrespectful.

Max Horowitz H.

Yelp
I went to this dunkin at 7:30 in the morning I was hoping to get some tasty donuts until I drive away. The donuts for rock hard and and clearly not made well this needs to change
google avatar

Olga V.

Yelp
I don't usually go to your establishment and after this one I don't think I'll be going back any time soon. This was one of the most unsanitary experiences I've had in a while. Your restroom for females was out of order or temporarily closed or something and the men's was absolutely disgusting. I had a list of questions within the first two minutes and none of the answers motivated me to continue on to the cashier to order. There was no soap, no sanitizer, no paper towels, and the hand drier wasn't even working. "Feel the power," it read. Yeah, after realizing your employees also have to use these ridiculously filthy facilities all I wanted to do was get to my vehicle and feel the power of my hand sanitizer. Y'all are nasty at this location. I can still smell the dumpster outside. Such a pungent smell it lingered in my nostrils and settled on my nose hairs. Gross. Yuck. Eww...you need to get it together. Cleanliness is Godliness so I suggest you get some Jesus in your life or something before someone reports you. We will not be looking at shut downs because of your sloppiness, laziness, and unGodliness. And we are asking to wear mask for what purposes again?!....
google avatar

Ilse G.

Yelp
Nasty, cold and soggy. This location doesn't respect your online order so there's no point in even ordering ahead. I ordered mine on my way home and when I got there it wasn't even ready and I still had to wait an ADDITIONAL 30 minutes to get the food I ordered ahead of time. It also doesn't look the clean and the work crew looks overworked and like they don't even care about you food. This Dunkin' is really close to my house. I've been to another location that's not so close but I'll make the drive rather than coming to this location again.

Alana W.

Yelp
We just had such a great experience here at this location. Not only we're the employees helpful to us but they were all working with each other and it was honestly such a breath of fresh air. We love our spooky Halloween tumblers super! We got coffee and lunch and donuts as well and the coffee was some of the best coffee from dd I've had. The food was cooked awesome and the donuts were fresh and not only looked amazing but tasted even better! I wish I would have gotten names of the employees but honestly everyone was so great. All these other comments talk about bad service and I think everyone needs to slow down and enjoy themselves. We were in no hurry and had a great experience! Thank you again!
google avatar

Yelp
Was not impressed with this Dublin Donuts at all. When I arrived I was not warmly greeted and their donut selection was not very diverse at all. They didn't even have twist donuts! So, after looking at the calorie counts I decided to get their original donut. I took my first bite in the car and was so disappointed by the lack of flavor. The donuts was super greasy and just did not taste good at all. I am so glad that the donut was free as I had a coupon because if it wasn't I would be demanding my money back. I definitely will look elsewhere sometime when I am craving a donut. I will not be running to Dunkin.
google avatar

Amy N.

Yelp
I use this Dunkin' Donuts when I'm on the run and craving something sweet. I've been through this drive thru numerous times, and probably has only been one or 2 times when the donuts were actually fresh. They're usually hard and stale... Donuts arn't usually in the greatest condition either. Their Chocolate Frosted sometimes has frosting EVERYWHERE and the whole experience is just very messy. There was a time when I was told to "hold on" to place an order... minutes passed but the lady never got back to me. I "hello?"ed a few times but nothing. So awkward and a waste of time.
google avatar

Chelsea B.

Yelp
If you can go ANYWHERE else, do it. Unfortunately for me, this is the only Dunkins near where I work. I like their coffee better than Starbucks, and it's a little cheaper. I use the app to order ahead of time, and usually go through the drive-through. Once when I went inside to pick it up, I just stood there for 10 minutes waiting. It was around 6 AM so the store was not busy, I'd ordered several minutes before I arrived. Everyone avoided eye contact and finally I had to speak up and ask if they got my order. They said no and I watched them go over and read it and start working on it, when it should have been finished by the time I arrived. No one EVER apologizes at this location, even if they take up 20 minutes of your time for a coffee and a stale donut. That's just one of many horrible experiences I've had here. When you come up to the window, they don't greet you. They get your order wrong and you tell them, they just swap it out and don't apologize. Every single time I order my coffee the same way and it gets made so differently. Some of the people forget to even add the flavor syrup even though it's a mobile order and they can just look at it again if they need to. Some people don't bother to sweeten it like I ask. Why are there options on the app if they're just going to ignore them? I've been handed things I didn't order more times than I can count. I've been given the wrong donut plenty of times. They've been "out" of things I ordered through the app, like cold brew, and they make NO SUGGESTION about what should happen. You order your cold brew, PAY for it ahead of time, then get to the window just for them to say "We're out of cold brew." At 6 AM. No "I'm sorry, here's what I can do for you" just a blank stare. It's horrible service. It's the worst. It's almost comical, and I'm genuinely shocked when someone actually says "Thank you!" when you're done. Don't put yourself through this if you can avoid it.

Yelp
I was up early on Saturday running errands and a sudden urge hit me: DONUTS. I didn't resist. I pulled out my handy-dandy iPhone and searched for donuts...the closest thing to me was Dunkin...and I thought to myself, jeez it's been YEARS since I've been to a DD, why not? I pulled into this DD and opted to go inside so I can stare over the menu and not hold anyone up behind me...since I really didn't know what I wanted. I opted for the #1 (kolache meal) and a dozen munchkins. I wanted to order a strawberry lemonade coolatta but the lady at the register didn't understand me...and I didn't understand her either...which led to a rather frustrating exchange between us to the point where I said, just forget about the drink, give me my kolaches and munchkins. And then she tried to argue me down about the drink that I wanted to order -- lady, didn't I say forget about it? What are we still discussing here? Ugh. So I get my order and I leave....as I pull out and head to my next destination, I bite into my kolaches....and it's cold. Like, just took it out of the fridge and didn't care to warm it up cold. The other one was warm...like took it out of the fridge and put it in the microwave for 3 seconds warm. After the first bite, I didn't even bother with the kolaches. On to my assorted munchkins...I grabbed one randomly and bit into and....suddenly I was wishing I had bought that drink...it was the driest donut I've ever had in my life! I didn't know donuts could be dry like this...like really, donut holes are supposed to be little mini pieces of heaven...but these little guys had to have been sent by satan...just horrible. Needless to say, I won't be going back to DD for a while...I learned my lesson. Another cheat day gone wrong lol.... (I did call them and tell them about my issue and I received a full refund for my order).

Yelp
Went 10 mins before closing, the coffee tasted burnt. The person who took the order was friendly and polite. They didn't have any hot foods available, they said they turned off the oven

Yelp
I continued to go to this location because it's convenient and near home, but not anymore. I've experienced the worst customer service due to one specific employee. A couple of weeks ago, it started with a male who appeared to have long hair or maybe a pony tail that was always rude and appeared to highly dislike his job. I've never dealt with more attitude and eye rolling from a grown man than I did with this gentleman. Recently the customer service had been great up until today. I ordered from the drive thru yesterday morning, ordered the same thing I always do. Customer service was fine. Today I return around the same time, order my usual.. received the same young girl at the window. She was very friendly until she tried handing me my coffee. I always order an ice coffee but she was handing me a hot coffee. I politely smiled and told her "oh I'm sorry I ordered an ice coffee". I could tell she was not happy, of course I felt bad there was a miscommunication while ordering. Before I could get any more words out she just kept repeating herself with more and more attitude "I repeated the order back to you". I heard her the first three or four times but she then turned around and continued to raise her voice and tel employees "seriously I repeated the order back to her". You could not miss the eye rolling from this employee!! I've never been one to be a difficult customer, I understand they have a drive thru line to get through but she didn't even give me a chance to cancel the ice coffee because she kept repeating the same thing.. I was rudely handed my coffee by this young lady and was somehow rudely told to "have a nice day". I was at a lost of words, grabbed my coffee and drove off. It's my favorite place to grab an ice coffee but I'll probably stay clear for a while.

Yelp
I remember DD from when I was a kid so when I finally found one I wanted to take the kids. The glazed donuts were dense instead of light. The maple had no maple flavor just straight sugar. My 8 year old didn't finish any of his donuts. Really? A kid not wanting his donut?? The bagel twists were cold and hard. The "kolache" was gross. Just plain gross. No words except dont get it. I'm glad there isn't one in Austin or at least i dont know where it is and I'd like to keep it that way.

Yelp
I don't usually stop to grab a hot drink, but when I do, this Dunkin' is my go-to location. The early morning staff have always been courteous and efficient in my experience. This morning Gabby helped me out and was especially sweet; I felt it warranted a review!

Yelp
Hmmm, one would think that the employees here would be smart enough not to serve their customers burnt food.
