The hype burger that fell flat. I’ve eaten at the Dunsmoor restaurant and it was a five star experience, this time I decided to come to the bar and check out the hyped burger. Unfortunately was not a huge fan and didn’t really understand the hype. Somewhat bland not a whole lot to it, which can sometimes be good for a classic burger, but not in this case. Served simple, cheese tomatoes and an aioli. Fries were excellent but served plain unless you ask for a side of aioli (no ketchup). A house made spicy ketchup or something along those lines would go great with these fries. The staff was amazing, and had excellent wine knowledge and suggestions. The peach pie with ice cream was next level. Will I be back again yes, will I be back for the burger again, no.
