Disappointing Experience – Wouldn’t Recommend
Unfortunately, this visit was a letdown and not worth the time. None of the staff seemed welcoming or knowledgeable about winemaking, which set a frustrating tone.
We booked this tour and wine tasting specifically for my vegan friends, but the experience was mishandled. The person who scheduled the tour failed to communicate our dietary needs to the tasting guide. As a result, the cheese and cracker pairing was entirely unusable. It’s frustrating that in 2024, a winery couldn’t accommodate common dietary restrictions like veganism or lactose intolerance, especially when every other winery on our trip was able to.
The ATV tour was a major disappointment. It lasted maybe 10 minutes with only two brief stops, and taking photos wasn’t encouraged. The rushed pace made it feel like an afterthought, and since we dressed for wine tasting—not fast, bumpy ATV drive—it was uncomfortable. Granted, we assumed the pathway would be a little more taken care of or used.
The tasting guide did shine when sharing the history of the property and current owners, but her approach felt more suited to a large commercial winery than an intimate, specialty winery.
Overall, the experience lacked attention to detail and thoughtfulness, leaving us feeling it was a waste of time.
I'll try to come back and add photos.
