The Duomo of Saint Mary is a decent cathedral, but it definitely fell short of my expectations. The cathedral area was pretty large and had some unique character. However, the walls were mostly white with little artwork. There was also a museum with old empty sarcophaguses, church artifacts, and sculptures dating back to the 13th century. It was a good experience, but it didn’t blow me away. If you’re in the area, I would recommend going to the nearby Amalfi Cathedral instead. It’s the same price (4 euros) and it blows this cathedral away in size and ornateness.

The duomo of Ravello is quite beautiful, yet the least interesting sight in the village. The most important part are the mosaic covered pulpits inside.

I really enjoyed this church. It is not overly decorated and is in fact quite austere. There are two beautiful pulpits covered with mosaics with Arabic influence. The bronze church door is also spectacular. The museum of the church has some beautiful objects.

Beautiful church...entrance to the church is free, and the museum is 3Euro PP- cash only.

Lovely Cathedral where live classical music is played and sang. Just outside is a square with a restaurants and cafes. And Ravello is beautiful to walk about and discover. Recommended.

Pretty church, plenty to see in museum.

Excellent customer service, felt welcome as soon as we approached. A stark contrast to Al San Domingo, who refused to allow a desperate member of our group to use the toilets until we had purchased something. So we took our €150 here what a great choice. So if you are looking for somewhere welcoming, friendly, good food and drink then come here!
