Durack House Bed & Breakfast

Sandra and Bill were lovely hosts. The rooms were light, bright and spacious with modern bathrooms. The house and gardens were a lovely space to relax. I unfortunately injured myself in Perth and it was so lovely to have their support and have a "home" to go to when I wasn't well. Including somewhere to store our bikes that we couldn't ride! The house is in a great location - 10 minutes walk to a restaurant strip and 2 minutes walk to a train station that is 2 stops from the city.

We have stayed here several times over the last two years and could not have wished for a more pleasant stay. The owners, Sandra and Bill are extremely hospitable and the accommodation is beautiful, with very comfortable and elegant rooms, private bathrooms and wonderful gardens. Our breakfast each morning was served in a most attractive atrium with garden views. We highly recommend Durack House!

A wonderful, quiet home with delightful hosts. Sandra looked after us so well with plenty of tea and biscuits, a gorgeous room (Camellia room), and a hearty breakfast. We are regulars at this fantastic Bed and Breakfast. I would highly recommend this lovely B&B located in a prime location, which is a stone throw from Perth City. Many good restaurants only five minutes walk away. Exceptionally clean, quiet and comfortable rooms and the breakfast is the one of the best. The gardens front and back of the property are full of beautiful flowers which is very well cared for. The warm and friendly owners of Durack house always make us very welcome.

Way overdue review seeing as we stayed 9 years ago but till today we remember Sandra & Bill as wonderful hosts. Cosy rooms with a great breakfast even though my partner (now wife) was really sick and hardly ventured out of the room. Sandra was nice host and accommodation was also very nice. I actually live in not that far, but this staying was so special for me. I loved classic style interior, bathtub and nice breakfast and hospitality of course. Thank you so much!

I walk past Durack House a lot on my way to and from Mount Lawley Station. It's a gorgeous little house (well, they're all pretty incredible in this neighbourhood, to be fair. Makes my student styled flat look pretty subpar...) Anyhoo, I thought I'd have a nosey so I went in and had a bit of a tour. Oh My God this house is gorgeous. Ok, if you're a Perth local you're probably not too likely to need the services of a Mount Lawley B&B, but if you're up Perth way for the weekend or for business trip or something, it's a five star alternative to a hotel. Not that you don't pay plenty for the privilege...
