Had a wonderful stay at Durg Niwas, Jaipur! The property has a beautiful heritage charm with all the modern comforts. The rooms were clean, cozy, and thoughtfully maintained. The hosts were extremely warm and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location is convenient yet peaceful, and the overall vibe is truly authentic Jaipur. Perfect place for anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay with a personal touch. Highly recommend!

The manager and staff of this guest house are really welcoming and friendly. The ambience is super cool, detailed decor with fun pretty colors resonating the beauty of Rajasthan. Also, there's a food cafe inside from where one can order food to their rooms. Overall, its an amazing place and definitely worth to have a stay.

It is a very beautiful and serene property. Very simple . No showoff . Loved the experience . If you are a solo traveller visiting Jodhpur for the first time and want to save your self from regular auto-cab touting menace and are looking for a safe and clean stay different from the regular hostels then pre booking with this place is the best thing . Uber cabs /Rapido can easily take you there without any problems ( which usually arise when one book an app cab for hostels in the 'Blue city' ) The rooms are neat and cozy. Food is excellent. Decore is superb. Staff is very friendly and their Sambhali trust outlet can offer some of the world class gifts for your dear ones.

Good air conditioned room (although no windows so easy to oversleep!), very helpful staff and within easy walking distance of town centre while being far enough away to not be noisy in the evenings.

Very Disappointing Stay – No Backup Power! We had an extremely unpleasant experience at this hotel. There was a power cut during the night, and shockingly, the hotel had no inverter or backup generator. We were left without electricity for hours – no fan, no AC, no lights – and it was impossible to sleep in the heat. This is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one that charges decent rates. If you’re considering staying here, be aware that basic amenities like electricity are not guaranteed. Would not recommend.

Beautiful and peaceful place, very well located if you want to go to the old city! I staid there three times already during my volonteering trip. Staff is nice and helpful, and they always helped me efficiently to book any bus or train! If you have some time during your stay don’t hesitate to ask about the association, it’s a wonderful experience.

I come jodhpur with friends and stayed here for a week. Tastefully decorated, food was delicious. Here food preparation is with fresh ingredients. Rooms are quite and well maintained. Staff speaks various languages and well disciplined. Sumit and Vijay are recommended. Duarg niwas has ngo also which is working and associated to women empowerment.

The person who received us (I won't say "welcomed us") at the hotel was taciturn and grim-faced. The room was very large but equally uninviting. A fan did not work. Neither bedside lights worked, one being broken and the other having no socket. The loo cistern did not work and had to be filled with a bucket. The floor seemed to have been mopped with dirty water. There was no water in the morning because no one had bothered to turn on an essential pump. The kitchen staff had dirty habits such as dumping new (solidly frozen) butter on top of the remains in an old unwashed dish, and holding glasses and teacups (no saucer) by the rim. Checkout was as grim-faced as checkin, and we couldn't get away fast enough. I have stayed in dozens and dozens of hotels in India over the last 50 years, and this one falls into the lowest 10%.
