Dürer Kert

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A truly great spot for live music and laid-back summer evenings! We went to a small weekday concert by the Platon Karataev Duo, and the atmosphere was wonderful. The garden is beautifully lit after dark, creating a very pleasant vibe. There were four open drink stations, so no long lines, and the prices were fair. Another big plus: Dürer Kert is right by the Danube, just walk down the steps and you’re at the water. All in all, highly recommended; we’ll gladly come back!

Definitely a dope place to chill, there are some good events happening every week or so. With a good group of friends this place is definitely underrated and can have a lot of fun with a beautiful view around you

Sound was good, cool venue with a good line-up and massive outdoor space. I wish the weather was better when I was there, so we could enjoy the Danube shore, but anyway. The crowd is also, you know, young people, so it’s a pretty friendly and welcoming place.

Cool place for both indoor and outdoor events, music ranges from acoustic cover bands to psytrance, there's something for everyone. Prices are okay too, plenty of places to sit and the dancefloor is big too. Security guys can be off-putting sometimes, also it's on the Buda side of town so some atrocities are par for the course

Great venue for metal shows. I saw Thrown and Crystal Lake here. The sound was amazing!!! Good bar service also.

Dürer Kert is one of the music venues and night club for rock, indie and electronic music in Budapest especially live performances. It has a big hall and big scene and also second hall. There are really famous local groups performing. Since 2021 their new place is huge and There is a bar, you can buy ticket online and on the premises. Only not-well-planned part is cloak room, at winter, there is a long queue to give and take away your belongings. It has a spacious garden looking at Danube with hammocks, to play table ball, petanque and to grill or cook in cauldron (to cook gulyas leves : ) and required material even fuel is provided by Durer Kert personnel) It has a huge car park with Wheelchair-accessible car park. Wheelchair-accessible entrance, toilet and seating is available. You can go there by bus as well, 133 is the closest one. The venue is a little far to the city center and not easy to reach. But by car, they have a huge car park as I said. You can buy ticket online from their website or queue before the concert, but recommend to go there in advance and chill at the place.

Perfect place to unwind with a beer. Fairly reasonable beer prices. Food served in-house. Good for group reservations also. Besides going there for pub experience, you can also reserve parts for fireplace cooking.

AVOID THIS PLACE The security guards here are very aggressive toward foreigners, I can’t use the appropriate word in this review unfortunately. They don’t speak English, and instead of resolving conflicts with words, they resort to physical force. Ten people against one is completely normal for them. The manager refuses to investigate the situation and immediately takes the guards’ side, even when facing someone with a bloody face. Such behavior is completely unacceptable for a place that’s supposed to welcome visitors. I strongly advise avoiding this place — especially if you’re a foreigner. It’s unsafe and deeply disrespectful.
